Embassy Suites is a very consistent product. You know what to expect, always above average. During this time of COVID, cleanliness was scrutinized and found to be 5/5 clean. The hot water was hot (lukewarm hot water is a sore spot for me). The king-sized bed was very comfortable. Bonus was a partial ocean view that was difficult to capture due to the way the glass refracts light but thought it was posting anyway.

My family LOVED our stay here. The service was great. The amenities were great. Not in a walk-able location to much, but a quick drive and you have it all! Our rooms were very clean. The complimentary breakfast was great and we loved the complimentary evening reception as well. If we ever visit again, we will definitely be returning to this hotel and I highly recommend !

We love staying at embassy suites during our trip mainly for the sumptuous breakfast served there and the managers reception the evening. This place was opposite to the seaside beach. We upgraded our suite to ocean view and the view was breathtaking. The room was neat and clean. The front desk was polite and attentive. Enjoyed our stay here.

Located right off of highway interstate one. It's really easy to find and there is ample parking and the staff is super friendly. I would recommend comming here for a meeting or event. There are a tons of rooms. Multiple elevators. Very height class.

I like this place. They just remodeled - it looks good, room are very comfortable. Breakfast comes with your stay and they are great. Front desk and staff treat you like the care and are responsive helpful. Rooms get a little pricey at certain times of the year. They have a number of events. Best to check before going.

One of the better Embassy suites / property within competing chains in this category. Well located with easy access and amazing views. Ample parking and it's included in the price. Good breakfast with options for made to order omelette and pancakes. Recently renovated and really well done interiors of both the hotel and the rooms. The only place it fell short was on the in room coffee that tasted awful but given everything else it was a great stay.

Solid stay. Hotel was recently refurbished and it shows. The room was nicely freshened from our past stays. Not sure how long it will last as the hotel is a favorite of families visiting the area. Lots of kids for the breakfast, some of which were not the best watched. Will continue to frequent until it gets worn down again.

Hotel rooms are spacious, comfortable, and modern. The staff is very helpful. Have to give it a 3 star rating though:
➡️ Given the suite set up of rooms, the hotel attracts a lot of families. When we visited, there were dozens of children staying at the hotel, which in itself is fine, but they were always running through the halls playing games, riding up and down the elevators, causing unnecessary delays and disruption for other guests who are just trying to get to/from their rooms.
➡️ The hotel is very large (it rises well over all the other buildings in the area; I wondered once how it got zoned). Since it can support so many guests, breakfast is a madhouse, with long lines for food, scarce seating, and a very loud area.
➡️ Waits for elevators were always long. Being so large, the hotel has many guests needing to go up and down, and the elevators can't keep up with demand. Plus, service staff use the elevators too, so their carts can take up a lot of space.

Nicely renovated and updated hotel. Family friendly. Decent breakfast selection with made to order options. Indoor swimming pool. Easy parking. Good freeway access and conveniently located in relation to beaches and Monterey attractions. Very friendly and attentive staff. I particularly appreciate the on-site convenience store with Starbucks coffee.

I remember when this Embassy was first build. Tallest building in Seaside. I've stayed in a couple rooms, had a few meetings and conferences but mostly I go to eat in the restaurant and have cocktails at the bar. Mellow and clean atmosphere. Friendly staffing. Located just blocks away from the beach.

The hotel is beautiful and the king suites are really nice, but I was unhappy with some of the service. In particular I was here to celebrate a major birthday milestone and had it planned in advanced with a particular room set and selected. Something as an Honors member I can do. I noted that this is for a birthday and even asked if anything special could be done. Well besides the hotel not responding and doing anything special they actually let the prior guest have a late checkout. Even after I had checked in. They didn't get the room ready in time and even tried to substitute a cheaper room and not a king suite I paid for on a floor less than half the height. No way! In the end we got our room and waited for it. But it definitely ruined our experience. We almost didn't get to dinner in time because we got the room so late we couldn't get changed fast enough. I am not sure I will stay here again.

This would have been 5 stars hand down if they dont charge for parking. And add more selections to the breakfast menu. Very nice updated property. Super great staff. Great location. To Franchise owner; do not charge parking. And spend a little more on the breakfast budget. This is a Hilton brand and guests expect more.

I love this location. Best customer service anywhere. The first room we were in didn't work for one of my guests so they found the perfect room to move us to. They always are willing to do whatever it takes to make you happy even if it is not their fault. Breakfast is amazing and evening receptions are nice as well for a quick snack. The hotel is very clean and everything looks new. It is a little more pricey for the location but totally worth it in my opinion.

Our room was nice and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The reception hours at the bar were a little hectic however the bartenders were able to tackle the lines and get drinks in a timely manner. Overall it was a great experience and we actually extended our stay without any issues. I recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, whether you are visiting for business or the beach. It is similar to most Embassies I have been in, which provides a sense of familiarity. The rooms are quite clean, as is the rest of the hotel. They have complimemtary breakfast and snacks, which is a wonderful bonus. Customer service is good.

Great Hotel 🏨 Customer service representatives are friendly and helpful. It has a great presentable view from the outside of the hotel all the way into the inside. It offers a lot of great deals and services. I went there today (March 18, 2018) for a meeting and as I was there, I really enjoyed it and saw a lot of happy customer. Even the way they welcome you says a lot for itself, and they help you in a great friendly manner to get set up and checked in. I took pictures of the hotel, please wait patiently for me to upload them, I still need to edit them so they can look clearly. Please expect them within 1 week, by March 25. Thank you

Always like here. Kind, fun, happy staff. Best aquarium. Kids activities and safe to minors. Trusted. Jungle ozone. Not snobs. Scary building though, it's sinking of course, into the sand, needs to retrofit stuff those Japanese earthquake giant coils underneath it. Plus the stretchy window glass. Plus keep evacuation helipad on roof. And the elevator/lift is unsafe in the corners closest to the ocean. Poor planning building inspector must be bribed.oh that's not news. Lol.

Love the free breakfast with many many choices. The pool was clean and warm. Cocktail hour was very welcome and it was so nice to have that after a long day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium with the family. Very kid friendly with Shirley Temple on tap. We were lucky enough to have a sweet booked with it a view of the Bay and the Goon on the Southside. Walking distance to In and Out made dinner simple and fast. Front desk staff was very kind and accommodating politely storing our luggage while we went to Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Staff was very responsive to our request. Everything was clean and visually appealing. Only challenge were the lack of outlets in the room. Oddly enough we called to ask about the outlets and they promptly brought up a power strip for our use. Apparently the room we were in had not yet revived the new lamps with charging ports. The pullout bed had fresh sheets and actually had a decent mattress (surprise!). We went down to breakfast at the last minute, 10min remaining; Food was still out and fresh. Even the French toast was still soft which is usually drying or hard. Very comfortable and nice stay.

A pleasant hotel just off Highway 1. This isn't the first Embassy Suite I've stayed in but I was surprised to find how similar they are. Got an upgrade for bay views with no additional charges which was nice. I did come during the off season however. Good things include a serviceable gym, pool, free evening reception and breakfast. The room is recently renovated and really nice. Staff is friendly and professional. Downsides include little privacy for breakfast, the noisy youth leadership conference held during my stay (though not the fault of the hotel) and a little on the costly side. Very comfortable place to stay if you're in the Monterey Bay area. I'd book it again.

Beautiful hotel with great amenities. The breakfast was very good: made to order omelette, pastries, cereals, hot breakfast meats, etc. Indoor pool and gym were in good condition. The beds were too soft for my liking (the sofa bed was way too soft), but the rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. The evening reception was a tad disappointing being only goldfish crackers, bar snacks, pita, hummus, etc., but free drinks were nice.

I should start this review by saying I have never actually stayed at this hotel, so my review is not based on any overnight visits, but my experiences with them in other ways.

I work for a company that supports people with disabilities in their own homes and are constantly looking for new furnishings for people's houses etc..

This hotel just recently went under renovation and decided to give away for free, thousands of pieces of furniture to nonprofits. The furniture is in great condition and it seems like it could have been auctioned or something, so I think it's nice they gave it away. We took several desks and chairs. We also just found out that they now have a bunch of tables they are giving away so we are very excited and pleased.

Rooms and everything else is nice and standard. The stand out feature was definitely the snacks and breakfast. Free drinks and snacks were provided at night. Yummy Chex mix! Also, the breakfast is really thorough and good quality, with eggs, bacon, cereal, omelets made to order, fruits, pastries, and more. definitely a stand out feature of the hotel.

My husband and I own a professional race team and were racing at Mazda Raceway this past weekend. I return to my room after a 15 hour day and 3 hours of sleep the previous night to find that we have no hot water. I call down and the maintenance man shows up about a half hour later. He explains that the valve is shot and he thinks he has the part. I ask if we can use another room to shower in tonight and if he can change the part the next day when we are out. He says possibly. Then begins a 2 1/2 hour wait where no one knows what is going on. Eventually, my husband speaks to the manager who tells him that I am refusing to switch rooms and they can't find the part. HUH??? Around 3 1/2 hour into this mess they offer us another room and we move. By this point I am not okay. I am filthy, starving and angry. I decide that I will speak to the manager the next night when we get back to the room. I didn't have to. Without asking, she comped the night for our troubles and sent us a basket of goodies. It was a total class move on her part. I am truly grateful . BTW, The breakfast is AMAZING!

They are currently renovating, so there are a lot of halfway done projects in the lobby and construction sounds during the day, but once those are done, this should be an amazing place to stay. Decent breakfast and amenities, rooms are nice and staff is helpful and welcoming. Not far at all from Cannery Row (~10m drive, though no shuttle). We told them we were celebrating our anniversary, and they gave us a bottle of wine and chocolates! If there was a shuttle and parking was complimentary, this would be 5 stars.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in a corner room that adjoined with another room for my mother who celebrated her 92nd birthday. The service was excellent. The morning complimentary breakfast was the best we experienced in any Embassy Suites, and the happy hour was well-staffed with cheerful bartenders and waiters. At every turn we were made to feel special.

Family weekend stay. 2 rooms. Lobby Remodelling still in progress but breakfast service was not interrupted. Very good service at lobby and all staff. Coordination is needed with housekeeping because the number of towels for our second day did not correspond the number of guests in one of the room. Also, as it was Labour Day long weekend, the hotel was full but also beaches and nearby attractions which made on site parking difficult. They should not charge the parking fee in these conditions. Parking space was a shared space with other businesses. We even saw people using the parking lot to sleep inside their cars. Not very secured as to ask for a fee.
Whole experience was fine

Nice hotel. Nice staff. The hotel will be nicer once the remodeling is done. It could be the heat causing the AC to be awfully low at night and barely cold. Other than that I would definitely stay again.

I can't say enough great things about the staff here! The breakfast crew(servers to the omelet chefs) always have a smile on their face and ready to serve us. They are there ready and willing to cater to our needs and help out any way they can. They care about their guests and will have a conversation, not just a "hi how are you". They remember previous conversations and ask the next day how it went/or a follow up. It shows they do listen and it's not just a job to them.
The front desk is extremely friendly as well. Always greet us by name and quick to assist us.
The evening happy hour bartenders also are great! They ask follow up questions from a previous conversation, which to me shows they really care and listen.
During both times we stayed here, they were still under construction. All the staff(morning, front desk, evening, etc.) still remain positive during the construction and sometimes rude guests!
A BIG THANKS Embassy for making our stay a memorable one. We will definitely tell our friends and family to stay with you when they visit!

720$ for three nights with king bed. A bit pricey for such a tiny room but we do have a decent view from out the window. Clean room & a pretty comfy bed. Bathroom door doesn't close all the way. A bit loud with traffic on the freeway. Not walking distance but driving were about 5 to 15 minutes to main attractions due to lots of traffic as it is the busy season.

My review reflects only the event hall as, at the time that I went to attend an event (June 2017), the main lobby of the hotel was undergoing renovation. The event hall was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed for the event. There were auxiliary rooms as well that were useful for other functions, and overall we were able to spend a great night there.

Rooms are nice. Can't use "free" wifi because it is NOT private, so my computer wouldn't let me on. I wouldn't want ALL my data to be compromised! That is BAD. Breakfast is nice. Room was very expensive, almost $400 per night, so good thing we only stayed one night! Only one bank of two elevators was working, so it was a LONG wait to get up and down. I assume that both banks of elevators are working now. Remodeling lobby was very noisy (mid-June 2017) and not mentioned when I booked room. Rooms are not very well lit. No make-up light. No beach towels or pool towels, so bring your own. Probably won't stay there again.

Amazing hotel like all the other embassy suites! Embassy suites is always the preferred hotel I stay at from the happy hour, breakfast, pool/spa, fitness room and big rooms. The hotel staff is always great, haven't been to one that was rude. The only downfall is the construction they are doing right now to the hotel but they made sure you were aware of it before booking the room. And it's only to make it better which after its done this will be an amazing hotel all around!

Let me start off by saying that this hotel is awesome. We came with a party of 8 and booked two rooms. The rooms were great and served their purpose. Each room had 1 bed and 1 foldout couch. Also included was two tv's a bathroom and a kitchen sink with a microwave. Free breakfast was pretty great (they have omelets that they can prepare on demand, along with the normal buffet breakfast food. Just make sure you get to breakfast early, they stop serving at 8:30. In addition to serving breakfast they also have free snacks at dinner. I can rate the hotel highly enough! (My only complaint would be that the elevators are small. Otherwise this place is definitely 5 stars.

This is the hotel that we usually go to when we visit Monterey for any reason!  The rooms are clean, roomy, and secure.  We love the Happy Hour here when we check in and the kids like to explore the lobby!

Ya, the price is sometimes in the high end but the way I look at it is this;

Room for four $150.00_wow

Breakfast included, which is a full breakfast with cook to order could cost you elsewhere, $70.00-$100.00 depending on where you dine and what sides you order!

With that being said, my room is know $50.00 to $80.00!  May sound kinda weird how I come with this conclusion to some but think about for a moment and I think you'll find it's actually a very good deal!

We booked the nicest room. It was supposed to have two beds. It has one and a sofa bed. The suite is just empty space with a couple of tables. The view is ugly with the fans. For $300 a night, this room is really crappy, and we can't open the balcony door. Even if we could, it would open and block the ac unit. Happy hour was nice but does not make up for the price. Also, they are resetting the alarm system at 8:30pm. That couldn't have been done during the day?

Great pool. Efficient staff. Pretty location. Working hot tub. Good breakfast. Room I stayed in had no closing curtains or shades and a spotlight outside the window illuminated my room all night. #SadFace.

Checking out tomorrow. We stayed on the 7th floor with ocean view corner suit w/ balcony. The rooms are clean and comfy. Not extremely modern but very nice as they feel like home. Views are amazing ! Staff are also very sweet and helpful .

It's hard not to give a stellar review to a hotel that gives you a fantastic upgrade when you roll in after midnight on a road trip with two tired kids and one crazy tired mama. The views were amazing. The food was awesome, per usual. The staff at the front desk gave us the scoop on discount tickets to the Aquarium. More than perfect experience.

Excellent service and great accommodation. However, my pre-selected room was available when we arrived at 11am. The franchise owner decided to charge a fee to check-in before 1pm. Less than desirable attitude toward a paying guest.

I had a wonderful experience at the Embassy Suites Monterey Bay Seaside California. I had a long drive so I was very happy when John and Carolyn at the front desk were so kind when they greeted me...
And after some wonderful refreshments I had the pleasure of meeting the Night Manager of the Embassy Suites, Janice... she was very professional and pleasant... it made my evening "stress free" before leaving for my next business meeting in northern California.

Typical Embassy Suites. Free breakfast with good to order selection of one allows the wait in line. Buffet selection more or less appealing but typical for Embassy Suites. Number of elevators (3) for a hotel with 12 floors is bothering if the house is full and 1 elevator is closed for upgrades. Overall would go there again.

Spacious well maintained rooms and exceptional service. It is within walking distance of the beach and rents bikes for the nearby beach trail. Happy hour every day with free snacks and drinks which is a great venue for meeting new people.

Enjoyed our visit, especially the happy hour in the evening. Munchies could be improved, and morning breakfast was good but not what is was 3 years ago. Room was very nice, though i did speak with a guest who was not so lucky. I gather some of the rooms need a freshen up, as the hotel is around 10 year old. Would visit again, but will consider other places as well.

The rooms were comfortable and had a great view of the ocean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We got a nice little welcome bag of candy though it's probably because we have Hilton status. Breakfast was decent. Custom made omlette was good. Loved that the bathroom was outside the bedroom so we could get ready without disturbing people that were sleeping.

Good location. Rooms are a little worn but still functional and effective. Free Breakfast and afternoon drinks like all other embassy suites. Had veggies hummus and chips to go with drinks which was nice.

The hotel was really nice. They upgraded our room and gave us a bottle of wine and a chocolate cake as it was our honeymoon trip. There is also free drinks and snacks in the evening. I could not give it 5 star because WiFi was not complimentary and I feel many competitors provide that but I would certainly recommend visiting.

We spent 2 nights at this Embassy suites hotel and came away with some disappointment. my granddaughter and my wife shared a bed and I was on the couch bed. THINKING that the couch bed would be adequate I waited to pull it out after we had dinner and saw some sights. It was as lumpy and very uncomfortable. I do realize that pull outs are not as comfortable as normal beds but this one was unsleepable. I did not sleep much so I folded it back and slept on the couch part..Come morning we went to the lobby to exit as we were going to the Aquarium. I stopped at the desk to tell them about what happened and was offered another room with 2 queen size beds but they would need some time to get it ready. We said that was fine because we would not be back until late afternoon. Upon our arrival back we were informed that the unit was ready...It was not and our bags were also not as they were stored for them to take to the room....very long story short...we got to wait in the lobby for over an hour until told the room was ready...IT WAS NOT!!!..another 30 min and we were told again that it was ready...Hey guess what...IT WAS!! and we got to meet the maid too...Not as good experience for a getaway...Probably not going to go back there..James/Sue/Hannah

We came for a few days and kept saying this place is great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Patrick at the front desk gave us great recommendations for local places to eat and directions to local spots. Everyone was super nice. I cant say enough nice things about this place.. We were treated so well by everyone. Thanks for the great time.

The service and complimentary breakfast was excellent. The food was fresh and the room was very clean. Unfortunately, the tub and toliet did not drain properly. Regardless, a pleasant experience occurred
