Reasonably Priced in the top floor of a beautiful old building in downtown Pittsburgh so its a good location for ball games and theater. Nice happy hour and breakfast buffet for nothing extra. The valets work their tails off and yes that is extra. My room had a musty scent though.

This may be the first hotel I don’t have anything to nitpick. This may have just become my favorite hotel! The room was HUGE and in amazing condition. There is usually something dinged up or not working in hotels of all price points, but not this one. It has great views and is in a great location. Be aware that the lobby is on the 25th floor. I posted pictures of the building and entrance as well as the room. I didn’t have much interaction with the staff, but what I did was pleasant. I honestly wouldn’t change a thing about my stay and will definitely stay here next time I’m in the area.

Very nice. Perfect location. We walked to the science center and then to the Duquesne incline and then back to the hotel. Lots to see when walking around. Rooms were nice and clean. Service was great. Called down for extra blankets and pillows and got them within minutes!

Beautiful interior, good complimentary breakfast, and the suite I stayed in was spacious and had a lot of natural light. The windows also had good curtains s to block out morning light (important for me). Overall a great experience.

I didn't even know this hotel was downtown. Great views, rooms, and decor. The check-in desk, restaurant/bar, and indoor pool are all on the top floor so you can look over the city.

The place was very nice and clean. The rooms were of good size and well kept. We stayed for a wedding and I will say that in reality the cost is not justified. The elevators, while many, were small and always filled. We had to wait through many just to get on one. The free happy hour for room guests was so busy that we just went to the other bar and paid for our own drinks.

Service was crisp and neat(we tipped). The 21st floor corner room had amazing views. Room was clean and orderly. The hotel's location was awesome central. Will use again if doing 2-4 days in Pittsburgh downtown.

Great hotel. Good location in downtown Pittsburgh. Nice staff. 2 things to know ahead if time. If you want late check out, ask for it at checkin, apparently they have a finite amount to offer. The second is the construction crane that sits prominently on the river side facing of the hotel. Otherwise enjoyed the hotel and recommend it.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Right in the hearts of Downtown Pittsburgh. The Suite we stayed in was amazing. High Floor suite with lots of space for the whole party (3 guests). You get lots of luxury for the price you pay and much better than just staying in a random hotel room. Felt like I was in my own apartment.

Very Clean. Very well kept. Nice views. Room service was polite and fast. The only minus was the food. Your better of hitting a restaurant in walking distance.

Nice old building in a convenient location of town. Cons - old building. I didn't realize it until the middle of the night but the building pulsates with noise that woke me up and kept me awake. I tried to drown it out with the HVAC but that had a rattle that was worse than the building noise. Another con in my opinion, valet only parking. No option for self park. Finally, I select hotels based on their fitness amenities. Pro, well equipped gym, easy access to the river walk for running. Con, indoor pool was not kept at a usable temperature. Nice views especially the historic Presbyterian church next door.

Such a beautiful hotel! Included breakfast was a plus! The manager's reception every night was very good, too. The pool and fitness areas were really high quality. Very fun that the lobby is on the 25th floor! :) I can't wait to be back to Pittsburgh--- I always enjoy my Hilton Honors' fun!

This is a great hotel. The rooms are very nice and new. Everything is clean and in good working condition. The showers have good pressure too which is always a selling point for me. The hotel is located in an office building and the lobby is located on the 25th floor. This is a minor inconvenience when checking in but the view of the city and the decor of the lobby makes up for it. Key card required to access your floor for added security which is nice.

This is a great hotel. It's ssssooooo much better than the nearby Courtyard Marriott. There are even free drinks (including liquor!) and snacks after work until 7:30. Staff is friendly and the free breakfast includes a made-to-order omelette station, which is a nice touch. Perfect location in the cultural district. Highly recommend.

In a very good location, valet parking is convient right in front of the building. Friendly and helpful staff. Room suites are very large, and clean. Modern up to date. Very big bathroom. Pricing is affordable as well, would recommend for a good comfortable stay in Pittsburgh.

The room was very clean and laid out well. All the employees treated us with respect and we're very kind. They offer free cocktails from 530-730 that really help you save money if you're staying in Pittsburgh to celebrate. Also, the location is nice because it is just a short walk to market square

What a great experience! Updated rooms. Very convenient location. The bartender April was amazing! I was there during the Superbowl. It's was super busy and she managed to stay upbeat and exceed every guests needs. I found easy parking in the garage across the street.

Absolutely amazing. My wife and I had gone for our 1 year anniversary, and we had an absolutely amazing time. The hotel was beautiful, and the rooms were very nice. The staff at the front desk were very helpful with all of our questions. The morning buffet and happy hour was an added bonus, and definitely made for an enjoyable visit!

Hotel was amazing everything about it made me smile, except for guest services. I wanted to give a five star review but I had to give four due to the guest services. They were not very pleasant to deal with when booking the room and also about the valet parking when I asked for a later check out. They were snappy, cut to chase and they were right and you were wrong, like when I told them online the room said $140.00 and they responded they would never have a room for that rate. Would I come back yes but I would find somewhere else to stay that actually cares.

I had a nice corner suite with an awesome view of the city! The arrival was a bit interesting as the lobby is on the top (25th) floor, but it works once you figure it out. They have a great breakfast & the staff was friendly & helpful, with comfy beds & nice rooms there's not much more you could want (except maybe a hot tub...)

Modern rooms with nice touches. Staff were great: friendly, and found my phone when I left it in the lounge! If there are any cons, I'd say some minor blemishes could be touched up in the room, but nothing major. Great stay

This place was competitively priced and it was a lot nicer than some of the other places I stayed (it is newer). I wish I would have known about the free breakfast and happy hour before my last day! I go to a conference in the Omni ever year, the walk between the two was less than 1 minute. It was a little confusing when you first go in. You take the elevator to the top floor where the check in desk is. The top and ground floor are the only ones you can get to without a room key.

I was specifically told there was parking when I booked only to find out the parking is in a neighbor g parking garage that you have to pay daily for. The location is great and in walking distance of everything. We arrived early and our room was not done which is no big deal but when check-in time came.....our room still wasn't done. We had a game to be at in an hour! They held our luggage and then it was lost! The bellman took it somewhere....took an hour to get it back. I threatened to go to another hotel and was in the process of calling Hilton's customer service line when my room was magically finished. The hotel is extremely nice but the staff does not do their job. Found out why my room wasn't done....housekeeping was in the elevator with me on my way to my room....complaining about how "trifling" the guests are. I will not be back!

First all the building floors start at floor 15 so you are guaranteed a high floor to say the least. Second every single staff member either smiled or said hi. Third, those other reviews about breakfast/drinks with long wait times turned out to be false then again I was there during a non Steelers weekend where people probably register 2 guests and bring in 5 people and complain about why the hotel wasn’t prepared. Fourth, those who encountered my 1 year son made me and my wife feel like we had the cutest kid in the world and we are doing something right in life. Fifth, even the housekeeper was amazing I washing my sons bottles and she even took the time to organize them and place them on wash cloth so they could dry better.

Overall excellent stay. I hope your management/owners are proud of every staff member you have at this hotel. What ever your management is doing keep it up it shows on the guest side of things. Your staff are happy to work their. I can tell. :) thank you for the great 2 days I stayed at your facility. I will go out of my way to stay here if I’m ever back in town. Thanks :)

I travel to country weekly and am a Diamond Hilton Honors member so my review is in comparison to other embassy suites I've stayed at.

Unique embassy suites with nice views and large well done rooms. Contemporary art in huge elevator lobbies. Valet is a little inconvenient on a one way street but that is to be expected for a downtown hotel.

I did find multiple bugs in the room through my one night stay. I can only assume there were more that I did not see. I would not stay here again for this reason alone.

The hotel was missing one of the rooms from our reservation for a large group. The desk staff was rude and had offered no alternatives. Another family trying to check in right behind us, who had reservations in hand, were also turned away. The same employee told them the hotel was full and the best she could do is try and get them a hotel room somewhere else in town. WOW. So an hour and a half later, after arguing with the desk and manager we were given a room but not the suite we booked. People slept on the floor until a rollaway bed was brought in the second night. 2 of 3 rooms had intermittent cold/warm showers at random times. Half our group took ice cold showers. They only positives are the free cocktails and snacks at happy hour and that the hotel is nicely remodeled and somewhat clean.

Amazing views of the city, and location is very convenient. The downside is $32 parking per night, and service in eating area is very slow. They actually warn you that you might not have a place to sit during your breakfast. Stuff has hard time keeping up with the amount of people, lines for food, and drinks are very long. Breakfast area definitely not designed for so many guests. Room service has a lot to be desired too. I have expected way more from this class of a hotel. Evening snacks are very sparse comparing to other Embassy Suites. On the upside they were very nice and helpful to my son with disability.

Nice room on the 21st floor with a nice view. The hotel is in the middle of downtown and there is a 32 dollar a night parking fee for the car. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and needed to use the pullout couch for a couple of us. Everything was comfortable and clean enough. The only negative would be that there were no sheets for the pull out couch in the room. I called the front desk and it took about 20 minutes to receive them.

7

Nice looking place. They give complimentary happy hour (well) drinks and complimentary breakfast (that ends at 9am). One particular bell hop that was super nice (from Georgia). Room service ran late which is the reason for a 4 star review and not 5. Also the pool is kind of small and the parking is ATROCIOUS along with the downtown Pittsburgh area. So 4 stars seemed fair.

Strategically place in the center of the downtown, with walking distance from most of the offices in downtown. Walking distance from the river and stadium. Nice ambience. Nice spacious rooms. Front desk can be more courteous and welcoming to the guests. They should keep umbrellas for the guests as it rains suddenly in Pittsburg.

Suites are very comfortable and spacious. The complementary happy hour every evening is also a great plus. Breakfast is better than the standard 'continental' breakfast offered at other hotels, with a full omelet bar. Only detractor was that during my the day stay, my room was not cleaned even once.

Very clean. Staff was very accommodating too. Valet parking was a nice feature, but was $32 for the onw night stay.... Due to construct, they had the GPS addresses all confused. Google and the hotel need to fix separate issues there. Free breakfast was decent. It was free, and good for the price. But the dining area was a mess and they had no forks or napkins..... The bar was great and well stocked. Room serve was spot on and timely. Excellent views from the room too. Bed was clean and comfy

Very pleased with this Embassy Suites. Room was very modern and well put together other then the view facing rooms directly across from me. You can't beat the 'evening reception' with free alcoholic drinks and snacks. Free breakfast was good, they go above most with the hot food offerings, but it is not the greatest quality.

The location is great right in downtown. Parking was great they have valet service but we parked in the garage and walked. Did not feel scared or intimated by the area. While this is not the easiest place to find, the service of the staff is excellent. We had a group meet here before a business meeting and although we were all from different hotels in the area the staff welcomed and treated us a day treated us just as if we were staying there. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Everyone that works there is so friendly and helpful with a smile on their face. The continental breakfast was fresh and one of the best I've ever seen. They have someone who makes an omelette and lots of good choices! At 5:30-7:30pm they have complimentary drinks and snacks which is such a nice added touch! They go above and beyond. The hotel is beautiful as its in an old building and the top floor is the lobby which is cool! The pool and workout room are also nice. The hotel is located in a great location near many restaurants and shops. I would stay at this hotel again! I also can't stress enough what great service the employees at the hotel have! Even the valet were friendly and happy to do their Job.

Very good proximity to the stadiums. Clean, comfortable rooms. Very spacious. Great for families and large groups. Hotel employees have been friendly and professional to this point in our stay. I would stay here again.

The building is very aesthicly pleasing but the first 13 floors are all unrelated to the hotel. Rooms were clean and well furnished. The breakfast was great and included cook to order eggs: there also was a snack provided every night. All the locks are new and only need a tap from the card or the app to open. A very good experience overall.

Our Suite was really clean, comfortable and absolutely quiet even though we were directly across from the elevators. The breakfast was amazing and the pool and gym were good. The downtown location was spot on and about a 7 minute walk from the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Valet service made dropping off the car a breeze. The building is beautiful and 107 years old.

Very nice hotel atop higher floors in historic office building. Lobby is on top floor (25th) with nice views. Complimentary breakfast and evening reception make it a good value. Fitness center has brand new equipment. NOTE: Hotel opened in Feb 2016 and while it is beautiful, it is still experiencing growing pains. Our experience wasn't bad, but they are still getting in their groove to get service better. Don't be put off by it though - you should definitely consider this hotel
