ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

great hotel but the central air wasn't working in the room went for a birthday party and with 10 people in one room it was super hot the ac kicked a little bit in the bed room but not much had to go into the lobby for some real air. Summer time isn't no joke when you can't even have some nice cool air in the room to enjoy.

I stayed there for three days. The buffet was great, the cook was amazing. Front desk always willing to give you the right information and the location is the best to enjoy NY city and areas around it. Love it.

This is easily one of the best hotels I've stayed in, and I do quite a bit of traveling.  The amenities are top notch....from the happy hour set-up to the buffet style breakfast.  The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.  My only complaint....and it may just be me.....with the temperatures dipping to the single digits at night, on the highest setting, I still didn't feel the room was remotely warm enough. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints.

The front desk was the best Siobhan took care of us. My wife forgot her purse on her Birthday Night and was so upset. Siobhan was so friendly and made her feel so Welcome. We are so grateful for Siobhan. Having a great time at Happy Hour. Room is great. Leaving here after to go eat.

Good room. Decor slightly outdated. Good breakfast, nice bar. Plenty of room in the bedroom. Had a king bed for my daughter and me, my son joined us and stayed on the couch for no additional cost because we were in a BLOCK room for Supernatural. Very convenient to the convention center. Just walk out of the hotel and 300 feet you are in the conversation center. Would do it again. Fridge in room small sink outside of bedroom and decent bathroom. Towels are in the shower on a shelf. LOOK UP when you open the shower curtain. I read a review were someone said they had no towels. There were plenty of towels. Suggestion: there is a food court yard nearby on the grounds. You walk past the convention center turn right and go through the lobby of the other hotel and that's a shortcut. Otherwise you will be walking in circles.

Overall satisfied with our stay. However, when we made the reservation we explicitly asked for a crib for our 1 year old but when we arrived it was not available or in the room. We were informed that they would bring one to us but we ended up waiting till close to midnight , close to 4 hours and 2 more phone calls later for it to be dropped off to us. Again, the overall we are satisfied but this one thing really bugged us.

The room was nice. Breakfast was good, but if you wanted meat (bacon, sausage) you had to stand in the made to order line. Which was a large line. Parking was close and easy.

This hotel was phenomenal. Everything was absolutely perfect. The check in was quick and easy. The clerks were very helpful and knowledgeable on where everything was and of our needs. The complementary breakfast was delicious and the cook was very sweet. She was very knowledgeable on what everybody wanted and remembers a personand what they eat.Plus the location was perfect if you need a to do some late night shopping they had a 24 hour walmart near by..Love this place surely will come back here again!!!

The breakfast and manager's reception were great. However New Jersey liquor laws only allow for one free drink. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room and the rest of the hotel were clean and well maintained.

This hotel is nice for any of your needs. Whether it be needing a place to stay while visiting family or coming out for a business trip, this hotel is sure to accompany your needs. The rooms are kept very clean upon entering for the first time, indicating a good housekeeping staff. The Embassy Suites has a 24 hour gym which I think is nice to have open all hours considering the amount of people who must stay at the hotel (given it's size). This hotel also has a pool which I find to be a bit lack luster. It goes up to 5 ft in depth and does not have much width. The pool is also very warm and makes you feel like you are going into a bathtub. It surprises me that the pool isn't larger given it's popularity. There were several families going to the pool (including mine) while I was there. Aside from that it is well kept. Breakfast is wonderful at The Embassy Suites. There are a surprising amount of options for you to choose from. There is also a section where you can have an omelette made for you. This is impressive because the employee who worked the station during my stay remembered about 5 or 6 orders and got them all done within reasonable time limits. If you need to stay in this area I recommend The Embassy Suites.

Overall great hotel with big rooms. Try to get a corner room with an outward facing window in the living room. Happy hour is great! I really wish they would have drip coffee throughout the day. There's coffee in the room but I always run out and don't like to ask for refills as I usually decline housekeeping when I work from the hotel.

Nice place to stay, close to shops and dining. They even have a shuttle van to take you to nearby places. Make sure you get the drivers name and contact number as they tell you to call the hotel or text, but no response. Fortunately, we were in walking distance so we walked back to the hotel. The driver were not notified that he was supposed to pick us up at Wal-Mart. They weren't busy, so I'm not sure what happened to our 3 texts and 2 phone calls to pick us up. Other than that it's a great place to stay. Afternoon complementary drink and snacks. Breakfast is served as well. Omelet station, fruits, eggs, bacon potato, cereal, fruit drink, coffee, hot cocoa. You will have a great experience.

My stay at the Embassy Suites was like a dream of unlimited comfort. I needed a smoking room and finding out that they had rooms as such was a shock. The room was impeccably clean. The swimming pool was so warm and so so needed! In addition, the breakfast was AMAZING. That was a full-on meal. I can't wait to stay here again. Worth the price!!!

Best place for travelling crews. There is also the Newark location. Both have easy access transport connections and back to the Big Apple letting you off. North mid or south Manhattan. Food here is great. Service is always good. Quiet clean rooms with lots of sound proofing. All the Hilton properties in this area are best first choice.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights during a supernatural convention in 2017. The lobby was just as beautiful as I remembered from my last visit (impeccably clean as always), and the woman at the check-in counter was extremely helpful. It was also nice to be able to sit down in the enclosed eating area and enjoy the amazing free breakfast with my roommate. In the morning, bacon, sausage, and scrambled eggs are set out buffet style for the guests. While the chef on duty (a very nice woman who I remember from my visit over two years ago) can make a variety of omelets from the list posted near the kitchen area. There's also a selection of other things available like oatmeal, toast, yogurt, muffins, and several types of cereals. The oatmeal has condiments that you can add like strawberry preserves, brown sugar or chocolate chips (my personal favorite!) Our bedroom was very large, so both me and my roommate were able to share it for three nights without issue. We also liked that we could control the light switches near the bathroom (so we didn't accidentally wake one another despite having vastly different schedules). I also love the convenience of having the hotel so close to the exposition center, and near such a large variety of restaurants. One of the changes I did notice about the hotel however was the hot tub had been removed since my last visit. I was a little disappointed to find that (it had been a nice feature), but overall, I still had a lot of fun swimming with my father on that first day.

This hotel goes over and beyond expectations, very clean inside and out public restroom and swimming 🏊 pool area as well. The rooms are awesome 🛌 beds and pillows are very comfortable. The hot breakfast which was included is very appealing eggs, appetizing, cereals hot and cold, 🍩 donuts and pastries, made to order pancakes, eggs, omelets, French toast etc. Yogurts, wide variety of juices, ☕️ coffee, and soda's and if you're absolutely starving and can't wait in the made to order theirs a small buffet of 🍳 eggs, bacon, potatoes, pancakes etc.

So I’m a long time Hilton diamond member, I love staying at embassy wherever business takes me, all over the country.
I’ve only been here for about an hour so I’m not up to speed on all of the amenities but I will say that the managers reception here is a joke!
Let me say that at NO OTHER embassy suites does the managers reception only include only a single drink. They give out coupons to ensure compliance for Pete’s sake!
Bartender was an asshat that treats everyone like they are trying to scam him...
Breakfast is a complete nightmare, it is clear that no one who works here likes their job..
It’s clear that management is lacking in a huge way.

Unreal experience, seriously!

Clean updated Lobby and well-appointed breakfast area and bar. Plenty of seating for after-hours usage to meet with colleagues. Rooms are a bit dated and have a musty smell probably due to the fact that the hotel is not completely non-smoking. Bedroom locks in accessibility for power. However bed and shower are good with good water pressure. Inexpensive compared to actual manhattan-based hotels a good alternative especially with a family.

I stay in the Hilton chain quire a bit, but rarely at the Embassy. I was pleasantly surprised by this visit. The hotel was well appointed, clean, and staff was great. Parking was close and easy. We used the pool, which was warm, and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast both days. Biggest perk: SO close to the Meadowlands. Literally across the street. Only drawbacks: it has an open atrium, and the half-walls in the room hallways (which keep you from plummeting to your doom) have glass portions. The elevators are also glass. Not for folks who are afraid of heights.

Update- stayed at this location again and previous wifi issues has been sorted as it no longer seems to drop out.
Good value for the money on a mid-range hotel. Added a star from my previous review of 3.

Negatives: Wifi keeps failing.

The room were very clean, besides the carpets were a little stained in the rooms. But when you can see the effort the house keepers put into the rooms, you know it's clean. The staff, from the house keepers, to the breakfast crew were extremely friendly and genuine. The breakfast was good, the pool was warm, could do to be a little bigger. I could even see the Empire State Building from five floor room. I plan to stay here again.

This hotel has all the amenities that a person could wish for. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom does not have a vent fan, which resuts in a colony of mold on the celling. Also, they do not offer free WiFi. Other than that, this hotel is great.

So dirty. Ew. I have stayed here many many many many times- more often than I ever wanted to.
It is time to remodel!!! I don't know how this privately owned hotel can even call itself a Hilton property. The carpets needed to be replaced about 20 years ago. And I don't put anything- not even my suitcase- on the couches. If you enjoy playing, "guess the mystery stain" then you may enjoy the couches and carpet.
The sheets and bed linens are old, worn, and scratchy.
I have had multiple plumbing issues- toilet that won't flush, standing water under the plastic tub bin, a shower that won't drain.
Service is meh- but I've gotten used to the unfriendliness a California girl experiences in Jersey. It is just how most people there are.
A very few rooms on the executive floors do have nice new grey couches and some rooms have Keurigs. Really they all should- and new carpets. and new bedding.
One star for the free drink and a decent breakfast. One star because you get a lot of space.

Great location. Free parking. Decent rates. Decor needs a refresh. We had a room on the reserved top floor due to Hilton Hhonors gold status. It was nothing out of the ordinary. Evening snacks are basically potato chips. Other Embassy Suites have a much better variety. Only one cook working omelet station at breakfast. Long lineup for no reason.

The staff are amazing. Alex, the concierge, who has worked in the city for three years, helped me with every stage of getting into and out of NY city. He deserves all five stars. The breakfasts have countless choices and were fantastic. It's easy to get on the bus into the city, which picked us up across the street from the hotel. When we do this trip again, will do it exactly the same way. The hotel needs a hot tub though.

We were here for a dance competition which was right next door to the convention center. That was very convenient. The hotel is very nice and attractive but the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. The carpet was ABSOLUTELY filthy!!!!! Our feet were black from walking on the carpet. Sorry, but when paying this much money for a room, a person should not have to wash the dirt off of their feet! The bathroom floor was equally dirty. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We will not be staying here the next time we go to nationals.

Absolutely top notch staff! In an age of diminishing customer service, the folks at Embassy Suites in Secaucus went above and beyond for me and my guests. I run a convention at the Meadowlands Exposition Center once a year, and the Embassy Suites offers great value, great service, and spacious rooms. But it's really the people who are what makes it all worth it. Warm, attentive, fantastic people at this Embassy Suites! Bravo!

We have stayed here before at Christmas time and found it to be an extremely wonderful hotel. We came back again for my Dad's 50th birthday and we were less then pleased. We love the location of restaurants and shopping as well as the bus to NYC. When we arrived we saw a food tray in the hallway near our room and it remained there until late into the next day even with staff walking around the floor. We had to find a maid to get another roll of toilet paper as it was not replaced when the room was made up. The pool door would not open with our key even after several attempts to have it reset at the front desk. The next day on our way out we were looking forward to the pool but it was closed due to a maintenace error the night before. Very disappointed in our stay. We even emailed them to let them know of our of concerns during our stay and never heard a response. For the money we have spent over our stays someone should respond to the concerns of guests.

On a much better note, the lady that cooks breakfast in the morning is awesome. She takes several orders at once and remembers them all with no mistakes. Awesome is the best word to describe her.
