This has possibly been the nicest embassy suites i have ever been at. First free drinks and appetizers in the afternoon. we booked the suite room and it was totally worth the price, the room was massive and breakfast was also amazing. recommend to anyone staying in the charlotte area. best hotel in charlotte. and also i did feel secure.

Really nice layout. Freshly redone, it seems. Although there room has some worn out couches. Not bad

I wouldn't stay here again. The room was not cleaned well. There was hair left in the bathroom and on some of the towels. When I left a message with housekeeping no one called back or came to address it. The lobby area is updated and well decorated but the rooms need a facelift.

Kevin and his team were excellent. There was a unexpected error in the reservation but they were relaxed and welcome. The problem was resolved and they were courteous the entire time. My flight next day was super early - they were helpful in helping me find snacks so that I could arrive to airport easily and not be hungry. Would happily stay and here again. Thank you Kevin and team! The rooms / suites are very clean. The service including the happy hour is good. The location to airport but also to 77 / South End to get anywhere is also easy.

We had our fantasy football draft at this location this weekend. The venue was great and that omelette bar was top notch. The manager Avery went above and beyond and made sure our stay and event was awesome! This experience and his assistance and dedication to excellent customer service has made me become a loyal fan of this hotel

Breakfast was amazing. Can order your own omlette. Free happy hour drinks and appetizers. Rooms were clean. We had a suite which worked perfectly with the kids. Pool was freezing and was disappointing especially with no hot tub. Convenient location to South Carolina and quick to downtown Charlotte. Very close to Billy Graham library. Front staff were friendly and upbeat.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left, EVERYTHING was great! Avery at the front desk was extremely nice. His great customer service really stood out! He checked on us every time we crossed paths. The rooms was very clean as well as the lobby areas. Great breakfast selection and drink selection during happy hour! I will definitely stay here anytime we're in this area.

The Embassy Suites by Hilton in Charlotte NC is a nice hotel but the front staff is not nice and room service is not far behind with the not doing their job. Now, as for their Breakfast bar it is great and the staff is wonderful!! Their evenings happy hour was nothing to write home about and the drinks was water down til you got nothing but water taste..and the staff was taking your plate before you was finish...first and last time I will stay here again...

Our best hotel of a week of vacationing. Big beautiful, helpful staff. Premium breakfast. Spacious rooms. Will definitely come again. I'm in Charlotte often so I can't wait to come back. And relatively close to the air airport too :)

This place is a staging area for new army recruits just before they get shipped off to boot camp. Meaning, this place is bustling, especially in the morning. Everyone was well behaved (aka no troublemakers), just lots of activity.

My room was clean and comfortable.

Room was nice. Breakfast was awesome! Unfortunately, I have an allergy to feathers. I called the front desk four times, over a period of 1.5-2 hours to request a foam pillow. After two hours, I finally got one. I expected better service from a Hilton property!

My stay was okay. Not the best Embassy I've every stayed at. Room wasn't cleaned, dust in all the vents. I asked for someone to come clean or I could do it myself. No one showed up. Ramp outside to get into the hotel was not up to code. After my stay Hilton contacted me directly and made everything right. They really do guarantee satisfaction.

I only visited the Embassy to attend a conference, and dint actually stay at the hotel overnight. But, I can say this hotel is beyond others in the Charlotte area. Staff is very helpful and the food was amazing. The hotel was very clean and the grounds we're well kept. I could only imagine the same goes for their rooms.

They've been renovating, so that's good. Unfortunately, my door was very tight and would not close without a lot of noise. Also, when renovating, just a shower, no bathtub. And, the TP roll is behind you...not easy to reach. You would think that renovators would know these things and never do them!

Staff were great! Free shuttle to/from the airport. I missed the breakfast, because I had to leave too early.

I love the embassy suites. It's the only place I stay when I'm away from home. The staff is super friendly, the room are always clean, not a spot or anything out of place. They give complementary snacks in the room and the breakfast in the morning is to die for. I've never stayed anywhere with a full breakfast and omelets. I never use any other hotel!

I stayed here overnight for a business trip. It's a swanky looking hotel in my opinion. The staff was helpful and polite. The room was spaceous and very relaxing. They also had appetizers and two free drinks for free. It was a pleasant surprise. The food and drinks tasted great.

Man did we really enjoy this hotel! We drove to Charlotte so we could fly to Puerto Rico the next day. What a lovely Hotel. The rooms must have been designed by people that really appreciate common sense. When you walk in your hotel room you have a lovely seating area with a sofa and a desk. The middle section is a bar and sink and the bathroom, then you open a door to get to the bedroom. This was an absolute perfect setup for my husband and I as I always end up going to bed first and wake up first . So it was easy to not disturb the other person . There are plenty of outlets and the beds are extremely comfortable. The happy hour was great because it consisted of two free drinks at the bar. The hotel is set up atrium-style and so the restaurant and the bar is in the center of the hotel, and it is designed beautifully. The fitness center and pool were a nice added bonus. We really enjoyed dinner there too. The complimentary breakfast in the morning is out of this world including The Omelette bar. Everything was extremely well-thought-out when they designed this hotel. It was perfect for us as it was just a few minutes away from the airport.

Very nice hotel! Excellent customer service! Room service food was aweful though and they charge a delivery fee and gratuity and didn't tell me. So I paid more then I thought and tipped more for nasty food. My friend and I got the crab dip (more grease then dip) and the fire roasted vegetables (so much seasoning that you couldn't eat them). Other then that... the breakfast buffet was outstanding! Would definitely stay again... just wouldn't order room service.

The hotel staff has been extremely friendly and helpful. It has the best complimentary breakfast I've ever had with ones made to order and everything was hot and fresh. The lounge and the bar were used by a lot of people and it was a fun atmosphere. Room service helped me add a personal touch but having a cheese platter in the room for my fiance when we arrived. Anytime we come back to Charlotte we are going to stay here!

Went to this hotel for my boyfriends birthday weekend. the hotel was super clean, our room was in a corner so it was fairly quiet. Before check out we ate breakfast in the lobby which was DELICIOUS. Everything was great at the hotel! Oh yeah and we had a thousand lady bugs in our rooms that just kept appearing out of nowhere. Lol. But not a big problem.

Excellent hotel close to Charlotte International Airport. It's been renovated recently (Jan 2018 stay date) so everything is fresh and new looking. The room was spacious, well-lighted and decorated nicely. The beds are comfortable. The continental breakfast is the best of any place I've been. They actually have cooks who will make omelettes for you! Rates are comparable to other hotels in the area. I was happy with my stay; no complaints.

Parked my car here while on a trip. No issues with the car at all. They actually did not have a shuttle driver the very early morning I arrived and put me in a taxi and paid for it. Upon my return I had no issues with a shuttle being there and was taken right to the side of my car. Driver was very polite and helpful. Parking for airport is super cheap.

My wife and I stayed here the weekend of our wedding, and they were amazing. They upgraded our room to the "Presidential Suite", left us a very kind handwritten note, and accommodated my wife's parents and their limited mobility. The bar area was great for hanging out with friends and family the night before the wedding and check-in and check-out was quick and painless.

The complimentary breakfast was delicious, the staff at the breakfast area very polite and helpful, and the bar staff was nice.

The only complaint I have is the traffic around the hotel sucks, seriously, you need to plan your turns and be willing to drive a half-mile and make a U-turn if there is gridlock (which there is going to be).

We try to stay in this Embassy Suites almost every time we come to or through Charlotte. So far, we've stayed here at least four times this year, and many times in years past. While it's an older hotel (I even stayed here as a kid a long time ago), it has been recently renovated. In a way, I do miss the fountains and plants in the atrium, but apparently maintenance costs were too high, and Embassy is supposedly redesigning most of their portfolio. Gone is the green multi tiered atrium, and in its place is a more modern colored LED lit area, with a bar as the centerpiece. Similarly, Embassy has brought the restaurant in house. While the core remains (decent service, nice rooms, decent breakfast, evening reception), there are a few details with knowing. In general, I have no complaints about the rooms. They're comfortable, and we really like the rooms with the conference tables. One day, I'd like to try their presidential suite. As to the other parts, for whatever reason, they've switched to tater tots for breakfast, from normal breakfast potatoes. Also, we don't eat pork, and while some of the Hilton brands (and Embassy's) have turkey options like sausage and bacon, this one does not. Well, technically they have turkey ham for the omelettes, but it tastes terrible. Another detail with knowing is that the complimentary drinks in the evening are limited to two per person. This is a location specific restriction, and out of their hands, but you should still know. Parking is ample, and safe. We've left our car here and flown, and come back to our car safe and sound. This has been appreciated each time we've done it. The airport shuttle is easy, and the drivers have always been a delight. We'll continue to stay here, and so far, with few exceptions, we've really enjoyed it every time.

Very nice hotel, clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it's close to the airport and therefore somewhat noisy when planes take off.

Very nice suite. Stayed two nights for a company meeting and Christmas celebration. Only reasons not 5 stars is because bed linens were not the quality I expect from Embassy and mattress was too soft for me personally, however colleagues mentioned their bed was plenty firm. Very clean and well maintained facilities. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Everyone is so nice here. I have stayed at a lot of different hotels over the years. I can honestly say that I have never been to a hotel where everyone is so pleasant to approach for any reason at all. The front desk is ready to help, as well as the housekeeping. Breakfast is great. The facility itself is pretty sweet too.

Love this chain! The large suites make them comfortable for work or vacations and the large beds are a welcome retreat after a long day. The breakfast is always hot and delicious, though I wish there was more variation from day to day. You can get omelettes made to order and there a few more hot items at the chefs station. I would say that the wifi is spotty and you're not always able to connect reliably, especially from the bedroom - this seems to be a problem no matter which Embassy hotel I'm at. However, the digital key for Hilton Honors members and electronic check-in make staying with this chain worthwhile. Other than the usual wifi issues, for some reason I was checked out in the middle of my stay and when I initially had the issue fixed, I was given an incorrect rate. Though this was easily remedied over the phone, it will take several days to credit my card. Other than that, this particular location is not far from the interstate and the local parkway (no road noises were heard) as well as being fairly convenient to the downtown area.

So often patrons are quick to complain but slow to compliment. I would like to commend the amazing service I received by an employee at this location, Ashley. Not only was she kind and responsive but she chose to go above and beyond to accommodate my request. My husband and I addressed her in passing in the lobby area and she quickly saw to it that I received what I requested. To top things off while headed to another area of the hotel I observed her offering to take another guests luggage cart so that he would not miss the elevator. Great job Ashley! That's what we call exceptional customer service. With an attitude and relentless kindness like yours, your future is bright!

Was here at Embassy for a conference. Everything went well except the hotel shuttle. It took at least 45 mins for pickup at the airport. The property itself was very nice and the breakfast was excellent. Thanks to Wanda who made our omelettes Fri morning, she had just a great personality!

The staff here is what made this place receive 4 stars! Everyone here was so nice! Vanessa our event coordinator was pleasant, accommodating and always smiling dealing with our 200+ ppl family reunion this weekend! Sarah and all the Sales department were awesomely amazing! And housekeeping and the cooks and bartenders were on point all 5 days! The only reason I can't give all five stars is because the TV in our living room never worked despite telling the desk at least once a day and one young man at the front desk wasn't as friendly as the others. But overall, my room was nice, the buffet breakfast and manager's free snacks and drink were great....but the staff put it over the top for me!

It is absolutely beautiful inside, after a 10 million dollar renovation last year. We love the new contemporary look. It is always a fun time at the manager's special, and you can't beat the made-to-order breakfast. We checked out the 'new' Embassy Suites downtown, but don't like it because it has no central courtyard. The old style design with the massive skylight over the courtyard is still the best.

I love Embassy Suites, I've never stayed at this location before and really not sure if I will return the water pressure was horrible. Some friends and I were on a quick girls trip/night out on the town so of course I wanted to shower before we hit the town. I also took another shower once we returned to the room and a 3rd the next morning before we left and all three times the water barely came out. There were 4 other girls with me having the same experience. I love a nice warm shower before bed and this was a big disappointment!!!! The breakfast was amazing!

The room was clean and cozy. Extra pillow and blanket in the closet already was a plus. Free breakfast buffet was good. Standard fare. No bathtub in our corner room, that sucked, but there were 3 drinks in the room for two of us, so that's a pretty good sink to person ratio.

I like the more modern style and the complimentary breakfast and happy hour, but that's it. After a 3 night stay, I have to change my review. There are a lot of guests that stay here who don't know how to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. A pulled fire alarm at 5:30 am one day, and a 10:30 pm lobby brawl the next. To make it even better, my 10 year old daughter had to be exposed to all of this because we could hear the screaming from our 5th floor room.

The air conditioner would not work properly, the room would get really hot and muggy in the middle of the night. The noise from the road was very loud and you could hear kids playing in the lobby well after 9pm. The toilet top had been broken and replaced with on that didn't fit, it worked, but just looked bad. Also had plastic bags stuffed in window seals which I'm sure leads to the increased noise from the outside.

We've been coming to this Embassy Suites for a decade, and before that, with family as a child. Up until our most recent visit, it hasn't changed much. However, our recent visit greeted us with a newly renovated lobby, and atrium area. Gone are the fountains and multiple levels with stairs and ramps in the atrium, and replacing it is one level very open modern contemporary decor. It looks nice, looks modern, but also in a way I miss the fountains and decor that we were used to. It seems also that they've updated the rooms. LED lighting is everywhere, and the furniture is all pretty new. The rooms are spacious and comfortable just like most Embassy Suites. The service continues to be good, and there's a reason we consistently choose Hilton brands. We're a long time Hilton honors member, and maintain gold status. While that doesn't mean as much as it used to, we're always treated well. The breakfast here could be improved. While cook to order is still there, the potatoes option are tater tots. Similarly, other choices have been made, where we would prefer organic healthier options. The Omaha Steakhouse is closed, and replacing it is an Embassy branded restaurant. We didn't try it, but the menu looks nice. Overall, a nice experience as usual, and this is why Hilton hotels are consistently our choice. Consistent experience.

Found out a friend of mine was going into heart failure less than a week ago. My friends and I who grew up with the kid picked a place near the hospital to spend the night and quickly purchased the tickets. Once Friday hit and everyone was out of work we then drove 14 hours from Connecticut to Charlotte from 8pm to 10am the next morning and collapsed into what felt like some of the comfiest beds on the planet at the time. Once we got a few hours of sleep we went and spent the day with one of our best friends for the day and just caught up on each others lives. Once we finished we went back to the hotel, caught ourselves a couple of free drinks (awesome) and then collapsed back into bed to prep for the 14 hour trip back to the hotel. I am writing from the back of my buddies truck while writing this and I'm happy to say that we all are glad we happened to stay at the embassy suites. The service was nice, the hotel looked great, and are just glad that we had the chance to run down to Charlotte.

The hotel was very accomodating to us. We were there for one night during our layover, and they were able to provide us a complimentary upgrade and some water bottles. The next morning the shuttle driver was not available to take us to the airport, so instead they paid for a taxi to bring us. Great customer service, and overall nice hotel!

Beautiful hotel. Clean, elegant decor, and the WOW factor of a TV in the bathroom. Very impressed with this hotel. Large spacious rooms that are very comfortable for a family of 4. Definitely a nice place to stay if in the Charlotte area.

Nice rooms. Hotel looks modern and is clean. Happy hour drinks are limited to only 2 per person, but there is a sports bar across the street with good drink specials.

Hotel is accommodating, bartenders inside the hotel are phenomenal, taking the time to get to know and recognize the patrons. My only quip would be with the laundry service they work with. I sent clothes out for food and wash and the cleaners changed my order to dry cleaning thus more than doubling my total bill! No questions were asked and I was not contacted. Granted this is a third party vendor, other than that service absolutely no issues

With free drinks at a manager's special every night and a real breakfast, this hotel is awesome. Great rooms at a great price. Comfy and quiet.

My daughter and I had a pleasant one night stay here. The hotel is nice enough and the beds were comfy. Avery at the front desk made us feel welcome. He is top notch at customer service in my opinion. We would stay here again.

The hotel is fantastic. Accommodations, experience and everything is great. The bartenders do their best with what they have. But I believe that poor decisions on management caused a few bumps in the road. Hence the 4 star rating.

We came during renovations, but the hotel was still nice. Firstly, there's no made to order breakfast, just a buffet. Secondly, the restaurant wasn't the nicest, especially for an embassy suites. The staff were incredible, as was the room. The pool was small, and paint was chipping. A nice place to stay if you want to be out of the way of the strip.

Besides the construction, I've enjoyed myself. The staff have been really nice despite all of the barriers, they've helped to accommodate us. It was heart breaking to not have the made-to-order omelets plus the smell of paint and construction is annoying but we've enjoyed happy hour, that's been helpful with coping.

Normally, would give a five star review for this hotel. However, the hotel was under construction which took up most of the first floor. There was no price decrease in the stay and we were not informed of the ongoing construction until we arrived. However, the front desk staff was excellent and the drinks and food were great, as usual. The room was clean and spacious.

Stayed here because it came up as a partner hotel on the Carowinds website, not sure why as there is one that is closer to the park. We paid for a premium suite but were given no instructions on how to access the benefits of the premium suite and when we went to our room it was a mess. The beds were completely stripped and there were dirty linens thrown on the floor in the living area. I called the front desk and they did take care of it. I also inquired about the snacks that were supposed to be included with the premium suite as there was a machine right by the elevator but was told no they wouldn't give me a code and I had to come down to the front desk where there was an extremely limited selection of drinks and snacks. I asked several times about a code for the machines on our floor as the only drinks available at the front were diet coke and Dr. Pepper but each time they told me this was what we had to choose from.

I probably wouldn't stay here again I would try a different hotel closer to Carowinds the next time we visit the park.

I stayed here for my processing at the MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) in Charlotte and the room and environment was great. MEPS applicants don't get the full experience but its a beautiful hotel and would definitely recommend. It helped me join the US Army and become a future infantryman. Hooah

This is my 2nd trip to this hotel in 2 months for business. On both occasions the front desk couldn't locate/verify that payment had been received for my room (corporate credit card account). Even though I provided a copy of the verification paperwork, it wasn't acceptable. Fortunately 1 person at the front desk (God bless her) looked back through their records and found the billing information from the previous month and used it to get me a room. I was placed in a corner room on the 8th floor (it only has 8 floors) which I didn't have a problem with. When I came to the door it was ajar, with the flip latch keeping it from closing and the door between the front of the room & bedroom was closed. I guess house keeping left it that way but it was a little unnerving entering the room & wondering if someone else was already there. There was no coffee maker in the room. There was coffee, just no way to prepare it. The electrical outlet between the beds didn't work (the closest one for cell phone charging) either. So I set up a improvised mini night stand on the wall side of a bed using the luggage rack and a blanket to keep from having to deal with it. Since I would be staying in the room for the whole week I did speak with the front desk the next morning however about the missing coffee maker. They assured me that they would have house keeping place one in the room during daytime cleaning (why do assurances mean less nowadays?). When I returned at 5:30pm, you guessed it, no coffee maker. I called the front desk and asked again for a coffee maker & they did have one brought up within 10 minutes or so. Overall not a bad place to stay but I'm afraid I would have been more upset with the service if I were personally footing the bill for a room at this hotel of moderate caliber with minor service.

The best hotel that I've been to in a long time...and I stay in hotels around the world frequently.

The center courtyard (or whatever they call it) was incredible. Vines and waterfalls. I can't put it to words; you have to see it yourself. We were told that we had in-room WiFi but I could never get it to work. There's no way I'm knocking a star off though because this is such a nice hotel.

If you're passing through stay here!!!
