ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

The staff here are fabulous! Demetrius at the front desk was very accommodating to switch my room when I accidentally chose on near the highway. Teresa at breakfast went above and beyond daily to assist with my requests and Val makes an amazing omelette. The room was clean and had everything I needed to make travel for work feel more like home. Definitely will book again when in the area.

Our stay this time at the Embassy was nice. It could have been better. It's funny I've stay here plenty of times and their very particular about the noise level. We've had children with us plenty of times and they would be making noise and of course they would knock on the door and tell us to keep it down or tell us the kids have to come inside the room and keep it down. One time I stayed before we were on the third floor and it was real noisy outside our door. I looked out and there were like 3 white children racing through the hallway I just shut the door. Upon arriving yesterday it was about 13 white children and they were extremely loud, play fighting, running and doing flips off the stairs. It went on for about an hour and a half. No one told them to be quiet or they would have to leave. I find this very disturbing. What's good for some should be good for all. I'm just saying there is a very big difference when it comes to color. Sad!

Been to scores of Embassy Suites over the years. This one is about ready for an update. Folks should know that the bar closes at 11:00, and the atrium/lobby at 10:00. Kinda backward and early. They don't advertise this. I see how some will like, others not so much. So I share... Some of the staff, particularly front desk, would benefit from customer service training focused on personality/pleasantness. No one has been nasty, I get a powerful sense of nonchalant-ness from much of the staff. As if they will be employed no matter what. I for one, am looking for attentive service WITH a smile at these prices. So on my next trip to E.Cleveland I'll be looking for other luxury accommodations. On the plus side, the bar, food, a.m. breakfast and p.m. reception were all up to expectations.

Great hotel with all the amenities necessary for a good time. The only that they could or should change, or maybe even add is an appropriate outdoor entertainment space. Families dont want to be cooped up in their paid space the whole time as a constant reminder of all the money they spent on a decent environment.

Nice place but housekeeping didn't come one of the days even when we called to ask them to please come. We ran out of clean towels also. The pool area was nice but no supervision at all. There were small children jumping in and out of the jacuzzi so no adult could enjoy themselves plus it was dangerous for the children. Breakfast was well done but no pancakes on the weekend.

A nice, clean, well run facility. Very convenient location. Standard suites like in most of the Embassy hotels. Good restaurant and bar with a full menu. Very nice managers reception. Excellent breakfast. Will definitely return.

This is an older property. The rooms were dated. It was centrally located for places needed to go. Hospitality was as I've experienced from other ES locations. Accommodations for the cost was good. There's nothing like a complimentary ES Happy Hour and breakfast buffet!

It was fine, but not as nice as other Embassy Suites I've become accustomed to. Staff was friendly, sangria was delicious, and the hotel was nice...just maybe a little dated. There was definitely age on some of the items in the room including the doors and cabinets.

A perfect place for a getaway weekend. Wether a big or small crowd this is the place to go. The big fountian in the center of the lobby is bound to relax you. The pool and big bar are also a great place to hang out at night or during the day. Good service and helpful staff!

I haven't stayed at this location yet, but I will be staying here this summer during our family reunion. The staff were all very friendly. From the manager, to the front desk clerk, to the restaurant staff. The manager saw to it that we had a personal tour of the facility. It was very clean and very well lit. The guests were all smiles while socializing in the common areas. The rooms were good sizes and clean. The hotel offers many amenities. There is a lot to do in the area. There are various dine-in and fast food restaurants. There are two shopping centers. The hotel is right off of the freeway. It is one exit away from Beachwood mall. As well as one exit away from Harvard park shopping center and the future home of Pinecrest mall and Ahuja "University Hospital". The area is very prolific.

My family and I had a wonderful time when I stayed from Wednesday until Friday night. Their happy hour and breakfast service were awesome.

When we got back from sight seeing on Friday night, it was like a totally different place.

A bunch of local families came on a "Staycation". They took over the pool, cannonball diving and splashing water out of the pool.

Kids were running the halls until around midnight. That was until the smoke alarm went off.

Alarms and strobe lights were everywhere.

When we exited the room, it smelled thick of Swisher Sweet smoke. There was a haze of smoke near the ceiling on the end of the building, towards the dining areas.

We finally made our way downstairs to the lobby. There was no effort made by the hotel to communicate with, or reassure the patrons, by the management.

Two hundred of us stood around the lobby, confused as what to do next. Did we need to exit the building? Or were we fine where we were?

Quite a few people just stood at the railing on the upper floors and watched.

They obviously didn't have a well prepared emergency response plan. Security was nowhere to be found. Nobody knocked on doors, to check if everyone was out of their rooms and safe.

Nobody publicly announced an " All clear". The employee at the desk told a handful of people nearby and the rest of us figured it out for ourselves.

I didn't feel safe all night after that and didn't sleep well.

I however commend emergency services for their quick response.

The facility was nice. The workers were courteous, efficient and mostly helpful. But I doubt I shall return, until I am assured they have a better emergency response plan.

The room was OK for a overnight stay for business. As for the quality of the room I would have to say it needs work to make it worth the price of the stay. Let me start with the couch in the living room area was dirty and stained and I would rather just not sit on it, the shower had very little water pressure and the water controls are backwards which makes showering feel like a Jigsaw Saw movie torture device not to mention the terrible water pressure and shower head. The room has a half used room of toilet paper and one wash cloth in a double bed room. Overall the hotel is nice and the staff is friendly but I would stay somewhere else next time for the price and quality of he room.

Great service and the facility has been completely renovated. The Manager's Reception is a great way to start the evening and the breakfast is good as well. This particular location is near the freeway and convenient for shopping at either Beachwood Place Mall or The Shoppes of Eton. It has several chain and local restaurants nearby.

Amazing. Boyfriend took me for a surprise getaway. Loved it. I have it 4 because the tub wasn't big enough and we are tall people...also the bed gave us backaches...other than that, AMAZING.

I dont know where all of the bad reviews came from. The front desk people are super helpful and friendly. The bar/restaurant people are fantastic and put the Penguin games on for me. My room was not dirty in the slightest bit and was upkept every day for the entire week. I would definitely stay here again.

Very new and modern hotel. Restaurant and bar were pretty good for a hotel. Exercise room is big enough to do the trick in a pinch, but could be a little bigger. Staff was friendly. Particularly like the relaxing water area in the middle of the hotel.

I usually look for Embassy suites when travelling to any city for the fantastic cook to order breakfast. Overall the rooms were decently sized and what you would expect. The bathroom door was a bit weird and didn't really have any locking mechanism. Also there was very little space on the sink to keep any of your toiletries.

Relatively clean and quiet hotel witb friendly staff located conveniently just off the highway. Not a lot of food options within walking distance, but they have a free shuttle that will take you anywhere locally. Room was clean with complimentary K cups in room. Shower was very nice walk-in tiled unit with tons of room and glass walls. Plenty of tv/movie channels to choose from. Managers reception and breakfast were the usual if you are familiar with any other Embassy, but they are great little extras that keep me coming back!

We stayed at the hotel the weekend of July 28. We had a wonderful experience at the hotel and we will definitely stay again when we come to town. The room was clean and spacious. It's a nice hotel with lots of cool scenery inside like plants and fountains. The staff are very helpful and breakfast here is better than any other hotel I've been to. The pool is indoors which was a bit of a bummer. There's a laundromat inside which is very helpful. Next to all of the good we did have some confusion with our room. We thought there would be a kitchenette and there was not.

Overall, I was disappointed with this stay. While on first impression this hotel looks great, however once we started to pay attention the peeled layers began to reveal some issues. The bathroom was left with an almost empty tp roll, there was still hair on the tub and mold in the corners. The pool was entirely over crowded in the evening, and when we went the following morning I was told "something happened last night" with out so much as an I'm sorry from the person at the front desk. I had 2 very disappointed youngsters. On the upside, the beds where very comfy, and space inside the room was ample.

Room looked nice, but our stay had many flaws unfortunately. The bathroom had mildew everywhere, hair left over from last guests, tv signal barely worked and the air-conditioning was good awful, felt musty and humid despite turning it down to the lowest it could go. The pool was being used by a party and at Max capacity the evening we checked in and then the next morning it was closed- our children were very disappointed as so we're we:(

Suites. Service. Free bar between 5:30 - 7:30pm, complementary drinks. Decent breakfast, with options to order breakfast of your choice. Would have given 5 stars had they been providing water bottles to the guests. That is the only point where they are behind most of the other hotels. You have to buy bottles of water.

The hotel is ok, but you definitely get what you pay for. My room had water damage in the shower, spots on all the hard surfaces that the cleaning staff missed, and in general the hotel looks like it needs renovation. I wouldn't want to stay here longer than a few days, but for under $130 a night, you can find worse hotels.

We stayed there this past Friday to Sunday. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The room was excellent. The breakfast staff works very hard to make sure that you have everything you need. The only thing I would never will do again is stay at the hotel on the first of the month, it attracts too many people that bring a lot of rowdy children and they do not supervise them . Otherwise I enjoyed my experience and will stay again .

I arrived around midnight. There were children playing everywhere. They were on all upper levels and the main floor. They were running, yelling, laughing, a couple were riding hover board. In the morning I asked the attendant at the front desk if the children were part of a group, she said they were not.

This hotel is beautiful. However, the hotel attracts too many party goers and the noise level after 11:00 P.M is terrible. Security did a bad job keeping the noise level down when people are sleeping. People yell up and down the hall, hold conversations outside of people rooms and security is no where to be found. When I complained to the front desk the young lady attitude was very relaxed as though this was normal operation. In addition, there were too many unsupervised children running up and down the hall and knocking on people's doors then running away. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to people seeking relaxation and quiet.

Public areas are great. Breakfast was good. The room, in general, was ok. The bathroom was not. The grout in the shower was moldy. The tub fixtures were very loose, but worst of all was the water pressure. The shower head does not spray at any adjustment. Water simply falls out leaving one straddling the faucet, rear against moldy tile to get wet. Unacceptable for this caliber a hotel.

Stayed there back in October of 2015, wonderful 1 bed rooms, had a small apartment feel. Really nice. The cook to order breakfast was great. Overall environment of the hotel was great. I'd stay here again. Only odd part was the elevator, seemed pretty old and worn, but I can look past it.

Amazing Embassy Suites! Rooms were fantastic...new and CLEAN! Would highly recommend to anyone. Breakfast was amazing...and when French Toast wasn't on the menu that day, the staff went back and made it for my granddaughters! They aim to please!
