ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Location is fine, as it sits back a ways. It's near the major roadways, so getting somewhere is fairly painless. Room was ok, but has a low odor when you enter your room. Requested items upon my arrival, were not there, and some standard items from the room were missing. Many other guests throughout the hotel, were very loud and obnoxious, late into the night. They also hogged the pool area, so it was hard to enjoy even a minute of pool time, with my children. I guess the "no yelling and no running" check-in agreement, didn't apply to this certain clientele. If I had known the type of group/event that was going to be here this entire weekend, I honestly wouldn't have choose to stay here. Service, for the most part, was good. Most did a great job, and some wouldn't give you the time of day. I chalked it up, and moved on. Would I stay here again? My honest answer would be no. I think this was a "one and done" experience, especially for the price.

This is might be my favorite hotel in the Cleveland area. It's well appointed, nicely furnished and the rooms are quite spacious. The folks who work there are quite friendly indeed. There is a small store for late-night snack purchases, a bar and grill, ample parking and a wonderful free breakfast with an omelette station. I actually look forward to staying at this hotel, which is no small feat. Great experience all around.

We had our family bi-annual family reunion at this great hotel. Everyone who attended and stay at the hotel really enjoy themselves. The staff and management were very accommodating helping us greatly with planning for our affair.
Our out of town guest greatly appreciated there suites, with the large screen television and other comfortable amenities.
The breakfast, pool and workout room was also a great hit and convenience for our guest

The location was a great choice. Only a few miles from the downtown event we were attending. The front desk staff set the tone for all interaction with staff. As all were very professional, and always greeted us with smiles. The suite was clean and spacious. They have the best pillows. We attended both complimentary happy hour and the fabulous breakfast which included made to order omelettes and pancakes.

Hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable. Very comfortable for sleeping. White washable linens. Selection of hard and soft pillows. Breakfast is part buffet (scrambled eggs, home fries, bacon, sausage and French toast, fresh cut fruits, yogurt, real maple syrup, cereals, milk, juices, coffee, tea, etc.) but also includes a made-for-you omelette bar. There is a ton of seating, so you are never without a table! The breakfast hours are more aimed at business breakfasts than sleep-in vacations, although they do extend the hours a little later on weekends. The staff were very nice, and helpful. The rooms are all suites (bedroom overlooking outside, living/dining/kitchen/entry overlooking a large central indoor courtyard. The main downside was the pool area and general lack of information (although the staff were happy to answer any questions, I would prefer printed material to find out the location of the pool and exercise room and 24 hour coffee, hours for breakfast and pool area, etc. Back to the pool area... I love to relax in a hot tub and also cool down times in the pool. I look for hotels with these amenities. This hotel advertises that they have a hot tub and pool, but the hot tub jets do not work so you are just in a bath (and a grungy looking bath too). Judging by the other reviews, the hot tub has been in need of repair for quite some time. I am disappointed that a hotel of this quality has not repaired the hot tub. If you are not planning on using the hot tub, I would recommend this hotel for its clean, comfortable, quiet rooms and a pretty decent hotel breakfast (especially if you like omelettes).

We stayed as a "premium" guest, which was supposed to include some amount of access to included drinks and snacks. However, the advertisement made it seem like it would be easy access to them, like maybe there is an in room selection. We were on the 8th floor And had to go all the way to the front desk to access them. Which brings me to my next gripe. They only had 2 of 3 elevators working, and made it for a long time to get up or down. They had AC that was motion activated, which means if we went out, the room would get up to 80 degrees, and the AC couldn't catch up until night. We registered as having 4 guests staying in the room, however they only gave us 3 towels. We also were only left with 1 nearly empty roll of toilet paper, and had to ask twice before they brought us another roll. Last but not least, they ran out of pool towels, so it was common to find slippery floors and puddles around the first floor and in the elevators. We did however think the rooms themselves were nice.

Stayed for a work conference. They take your credit card and hold $250.00 for over a week after you check out for incidentals. The breakfast was nice and always something to choose from. The bar after work was a nice quaint area. The room could be a little cleaner. The dust was pretty thick and they never replaced the floor towel or wash clothes after they took them.

The room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was a bit chaotic. The hotel was pretty full and they clearly did not have sufficient staff to keep the buffet stocked and the dining room clean at the same time. Things would run out, and you had to flag someone down to get it refilled. Since I'm not a coffee drinker, and the diet coke was running clear, I asked for ice tea. They told me they would brew some and bring it out. By the time they did, I pretty much had finished my meal. Also the cantaloupe they put out tasted carbonated, which is usually a sign it is overripe and starting to ferment. Overall... Room great. Service at breakfast not so much.

It was awesome during the week until Saturday night! When we got back from the museum Saturday our room hadn't been cleaned and not even new towels. We first asked the service desk at 7:30pm for at least towels and asked 4 more times between 7 and midnight! Finally got them at 12:30 in the morning! I saw another review and they said it perfectly, this hotel is quiet and business like during the week and on weekends all he'll breaks loose. It's crazy with noise, teenagers, and birthday parties all over! Again during the week they cant do enough for you, the managers reception at the bar/restaurant was great!

Hotel was nice. Rooms are comfortable. Amenities need attention/repair - specifically billiards tables & equipment and pool/spa. Manager's reception & breakfast were excellent. Front desk staff were difficult and it took multiple requests before receiving adequate towels for our room. Location was good. Close proximity to restaurants & highway.

I’ll tell you this, Jasmine, the receptionist was incredibly nice! She couldn’t give us the king room we had reserved so she upgraded us to a suite! The room was clean, large and comfortable. The managers reception offered wine, beer and spirits. There was also a nice selection of appetizers. The breakfast was good with your typical offerings, but also had an omelette station, my omelette was delicious! I cannot comment on the fitness center or pool since I didn’t use them. The reason for the 4 star rating is due to the open lobby which created echoes in our room and can be heard all night. Also, the stairwells lead to the outside and the elevators were crowded. It would be nice to be able to use the stairs to go up. I would stay here again, hope this review was helpful!!!!

Impromptu weekend trip to visit the rock and roll hall of fame. A quick Google Search brought up this hotel less than 20 minutes from downtown. Easy to get to, very nice professional staff and an excellent hotel. The complimentary breakfast is better than anywhere else, not to mention the complimentary drinks and snacks each evening. Great hotel with all the popular amenities like a gym and pool as well as a great price.

Disappointingly, it seems like every positive of this hotel is immediately followed by a negative. The hotel is spacious and the rooms are large and comfortable, but the first room we were given reeked of cigarette smoke (even though the entire hotel is non-smoking). Were transferred to another room, only to have the room not have any hot water and a faulty heater that kicked off after a few minutes of running, no matter how high it was set (and on days where the temperature outside is around 5 degrees above zero, this is not a very pleasant thing to experience). The main staff is friendly enough and worked to correct issues but there were far too many to start with. Had to have the room keys reset several times because the room kept locking us out (and I keep my room keys in my wallet, away from my cell phone). And I know this is getting picky, but the outside set of sliding doors were broken and propped open, which meant every time the set of inside sliding doors opened a blast of below-zero air was sent straight into the lobby, and everyone noticed this. Didn't deal much with management but seemed like a less-than-friendly experience whenever anyone upper-level was encountered. I can understand stress on management staffs, especially around the time when there are sports teams staying in the hotels for tournaments in the area (believe me, I know how the teams can get in hotels) but that frustration seemed to be projected onto other regular patrons staying in the hotel, which is a major red flag. If the management were friendlier (matching the level of their regular employees) and the hotel didn't have so many issues (again, one or two is understandable but to have all of these problems is not a good look) then this would be a four-star review. With everything taken into account, two seems completely fair.

We loved staying here for 3 nights. The staff gave us a warm welcome and assisted us with our baggage. Everyone was very friendly and gave off a good vibe. Free breakfast in the morning. Very clean and the pool was a little above average. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very child friendly! Perfect for family get a ways! Buffet was delightful. If you plan on taking advantage of the free breakfast get there before 9 for the best experience after its rushed. Too many people and the floor is sticky by then. The bar had decent prices for the happy hour and the food was 👍! Pool tables in lobby was great. Rooms were clean and updated. You can fit 6 people easy in a double room. I didn't use room service. However I over heard people complaining about waiting 3hrs for extra blankets and pillows.

We just had our family reunion there this past weekend. The Embassy Suites are always nice places to stay. They feature elegant lobbies. We had our meet and greet night there on Friday and on Sunday evening we had a banquet. Both events were catered by the Embassy Suites and everything that they served was very good. Good hotel for the price. If you can get a room for under $120 a night, this isn't a bad place. If you are paying more than that, you will be disappointed in the quality for the price.

Pros: Spacious rooms, good amenities, good fixtures, breakfast
Neutral: Beds, Furniture, Staff
Cons: "perks" If you have status, or pay for a premium room... prepare for disappointment. Elevators seemed to be on the fritz this week.

My husband and I stayed here when we participated in the Cleveland Marathon and we had a really good experience. The location of the hotel was convenient; near lots of restaurants, easy access to the freeway to downtown, but back a bit from the main road which made it nice and quiet and easy to get in and out of. Staff was very friendly and the free breakfast was great. Our room was nice and had impressively large TV's in both the sitting room and the bedroom. The only minor inconvenience was there were no USB ports in the room and neither of us had packed our wall adapters. Overall we were really happy with our stay here.

When I attended a recent event at the Embassy Suites Cleveland-Rockside location I was impressed with the hospitality and professionalism within. I was there for a local meeting of around 200 guests and the facility provided was top notch. I've stayed here several times, and the rooms are really nice. Front hang out area that I've never used then the bedroom is in the back. Makes it real quiet so here don't hear a sound from the courtyard area.
Never had the food, but I've never seen anyone complain while having a beer at the bar.
Happy hour is great, two hours of free beer, wine and well liquor.

This is a beautiful hotel!! I stay at Hilton hotels all year round for work and this is hands down the nicest one yet!! Everything is super clean, the rooms are so big and furnished, and the layout is amazing. I'm gonna regret going back to regular Hilton's now, it's made me spoiled.

Great place! We stay here for work all the time and it never disappoints. Recently remodeled as well. Restaurant/lounge is pricey, but pretty good actually. It is a bit noise here, as it has the largest conference rooms in the area, so there's always something going on here, but that hasn't bothered me much in the past.

This hotel is very nice. The parking lot is in much need of work toward the exit. My room is very nice and comfortable. I do have a few griefs with the room. First the water from the dinette faucet is yellow while the bathroom sink water is perfectly clear. The bathtub faucet continuasly drips making the tick tick sound. The air circulation in the room is low, the air conditioning is adequate but the bedroom does not have a vent, only the living room does. The faculty are very nice, and easy to work with. And the breakfast is also very nice.

The place is beautiful and the rooms are big. And free breakfast buffet I'm the morning is delicious especially if you love omelets. I only had a issue with the pool and hot tub area. It's small for the size of the hotel so it stays packed especially with kids and it doesn't get cleaned throughout the day so by the end of the day it's filthy.. looked like hot dog water from a downtown vendor cart.

A great family friendly hotel. Amazing and helpful staff. The manager Kim, was very helpful at making up for minor problem that was immediately resolved. The free hot breakfast is delicious, my omelets were cooked to perfection. This hotel is a 10 in my book - they were very helpful and accommodating. We had booked 5 rooms and they did their best to put us all next to each other. The rooms were A1 and the breakfast is hot and plentiful. My car lost it's power steering before we got there and they were most helpful in finding us a good service station and driving us to and fro to get the car repaired. The reception desk staff was friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Highly recommended.

I have mixed reactions about our stay. The hotel rooms were nice, but some features were aged or weathered. Some of the staff was really accommodating, but others were uninterested in customer service. I would recommend if staying in the Cleveland area. It is convenient to downtown. Free wi-fi, but that is the only amenity we took advantage of.

The rooms and customer service was very good, along with amazing breakfast and an awesome personal omlette cheff. Although, security was lax or non existant. there were loud kids in the lobby playing billiards all day and night. And the pool was so packed you could barely get in it, we also saw people putting on swimsuits in their car, and sneaking into the pool. We expecteda bit more from Embassy Suites.

Hosting an event. Seemed like they forgot about us. They didn't have the projector we requested until we reminded them, and the coffee and drinks we ordered were not brought out until after the event started, so our guests were unable to enjoy them. We've had success here in the past, so hopefully this was just an off day for this hotel.

Check in took 2 minutes. My room was immaculately clean. Excellent complementary breakfast with mad not order omelettes. FREE happy hour every night from 5:30-7:30pm with free cocktails, wine, beer and snacks. I was having a beer and sitting at a table in the bar, and (no joke) as I put my empty glass down after the last sip the waitress put a full beer in its place. I hadn't even had the chance to ask for a new one. Excellent service all around. I travel often for work and will definitely be returning here next time I'm in Cleveland.

I am currently staying at this location and I have to be at work at 7 am this location doesn't serve breakfast until 630 weekdays. The front desk somehow arranged my breakfast to be ready by the time I got into the restaurant at 630. The staff have all been very pleasant and quick to resolve any issues I have had.
