We, alumni of Frankfurt American high school, haven’t made it in for our reunion as of yet, however, I can’t sing enough praises for the team of employees that have been of service to us so far. Their “can do” attitude and willingness to accommodate all of our needs has far exceeded our expectations. If this team of professionals approach to customer service is any indication of what’s to come, we know we’re in for a real treat when we are welcomed to their property. Thank you, Embassy Suites for your service with a smile and compassionate hearts.

Drinks in the bar were amazing! Bar tender was really nice as well.

Large room and a great view. It was so pretty at night.

It’s within walking distance to great food, drinks, grocery store, etc.

I would most definitely stay here again.

Very tidy and modern rooms with large televisions. Comfortable beds. Bathtub was a bit small. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Transport to and from the Metro was convenient and on time. Only issue we had with room is that the heating was lacking mid-winter, even after adjusting the thermostat. Be aware that parking in the garage here costs $40/night.

We purchased parking at this hotel. It is near Reagan national and had the best rates ever for staying a week. The shuttle was quick and efficient taking us to the airport and bringing this back to our car at the hotel. I highly recommend it!

My stay was great. Nice suite, great breakfast and friendly staff. I must state however that they should enforce some type of dress code at breakfast. People have to realize that they are not in their bedrooms and should not go to breakfast with their kids dressed in pajamas, night gowns and sleeping mask over their heads. To me, it does not look good.

If this review was based on the building alone, it would easily be a two star rating. The rooms were dated, our room had a moisture problem, the wifi cut out constantly, and the television froze up frequently. The reason I didn't give this hotel a two star rating is because of the amazing staff. The front desk staff, breakfast staff, housekeeping staff, and shuttle driver were among the most courteous and professional people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. They truly made me feel welcome and made sure I had everything I needed.

Amazing stay! I would highly highly recommend. Staff are the best! Very attentive and friendly. Hotel is clean, breakfast and manager’s daily reception takes your stay to the next level. We’re still trying to figure out how you get so much free accommodations included in your stay. It’s conveniently located to get into DC and other area attractions. Would most definitely stay again!

Rooms definitely need to be updated. For the amount of money you spend, you would want a more decent looking room. Housekeeping didn’t come until like 3:00pm. My son and I left around 10 so she could clean assuming she would be done by 12 or 1. Well we came back at like 2 and she hadn’t come yet. So we were in the room as she was cleaning because I wasn’t leaving out again. Happy hour was great. Drinks were a little watered down. Could have better snacks. Breakfast was the same everyday.

A great hotel in a very nice area. The hotel is very up-to-date with its interior and rooms. The complimentary breakfast and happy hour were extremely welcome. Only complaints are the very limited parking and expensive rates to park at the hotel. And we had requested a crib in the room prior to our stay which the hotel staff promised would be there, but was not when we arrived. A phone call from our room was all that was needed to resolve the crib issue.

Hello, I stayed at this embassy suites for about 5 days. During the morning hours this place is a zoo. The food runs out quickly and the hotel will not replenish the food items. Next, the room's carpet was beyond disgusting . Finally, I'm sitting with my family enjoying the World Cup game at the Lobby area, when a staff member whose name is Karina decides to turn off the volume because the tv's noise bothered her ears . So , I had to find a manager but by the time the manager spoke to the employee , the game was almost over . The issue with this employee didn't stop as she continued with rude facial remarks against me and whispering foul language against me ! I told the manager but immediately abandoned the lobby area as I didn't want any verbal confrontations . The place offers happy hour but again they need to replenish and provide a better variety of snacks besides the hummus and Pittas. The drinks during happy hours are great and serve delicious tasting drinks for free. The hotel is situated in a great place close to the mall and many great places to eat . The manager who dealt with my situation was very concerned and attempted to offer me drinks while I just wanted to relax and watch the game .

Stay at this hotel was amazing. The rooms are extremely spacious as most embassys are. The breakfast was around par with a good selection and the lines for omelettes were quick, even when the hotel was near full capacity. The pool is small for the hotel so don't expect to do laps or anything in them and the fitness center has a good selection of equipment to use. A bonus snack time at 5:30 includes soda, chips and things. Overall a great choice for the DC metro area.

Complimentary breakfast was solid, as was the happy hour each evening. Light snacks, and a drink provided. The rooms were clean and quiet. Exercise facility was well kept, and the pool has decent hours (and is apparently very popular amongst the younger set).

Large spacious suites. Very clean. Check in was very fast, check out was easy.
Gratis "Happy hour" snacks in the lobby as well as Free drinks ( both alcohol and non-alcoholic) as well for guests. Very impressed by the bistro style restaurant as well. Free breakfast including an omelette bar. Seventh floor guests have 24 hour free access to vending machines.(given $40.00 credit for snacks).
Small pool, exercise room and business center( 3 computers, one printer). Parking on secured off street ramp. Close to airport.
Very glad I stayed at this deluxe hotel.

Nice hotel. The suites are awesome on space. The pool not so much..very small pool for such a nice hotel. Also the hot tub is connected to the pool so not that relaxing with children playing all around. Other than that everything was great!

Other than a far walk from the metro this is a great hotel. The shuttle runs often and all over but if you have to get somewhere fast it's a 6 min walk. Hotel it's great otherwise

My kids love hotels, but most of them just fade into a blob of memories indistinguishable from each other. This was most definitely an exception. They outdid themselves on recycling both in the community areas and in the rooms. Plus free breakfast with made to order eggs/omelettes, an indoor pool, and of course the free happy hour is the whipped topping!!

This is a decent 3-star hotel in the Arlington area. Close to the Reagan National airport - I think they run regular shuttles from the airport to the hotel. They are also quite close (0.4 miles) to the Crystal City metro station.

We rented a suite which had a cozy dinning nook and an attached bedroom. The suite had a microwave, a refrigerator and a novelty 2 simultaneous cup coffee maker.

They have two televisions in the suite and ample storage closets. The rooms are very airy. Don't like the showers. Very difficult to operate and getting the hot water setting is very counterintuitive.

The restaurant is decent though the service is slow. The bar had a special 4 beer sampler for just $7. Also vegetarian friendly.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Crystal City for 8 days. The stay was great. Everyone was pleasant and kind—from the front desk employees to the ladies serving the breakfast in the morning. The breakfast is probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. The eggs were real and they had many choices; scrambled eggs, made to order omelete, bacon, french toast, pancakes, potatoes, oatmeal, pastries, toast, fruit, muffins, and assorted beverages.

Whole foods was less than a block from the hotel and many places to eat and shop were in walking distance. The metro was nearby as well and made it convenient to go into DC.

We stayed in a king suite, which was big enough. The only complaint I have is the bathroom isn't vented, so if you even like a moderately warm shower it will heat up the whole room, which then takes quite awhile to cool off. Other than that the stay was great.

Room was very nice and spacious. Private King bedroom and pullout couch. Two televisions, microwave and refrigerator. Was given complimentary waters upon arrival. Vouchers for free unlimited cocktails and h'ors d'ourves in the evening and free breakfast in the morning. Pool and hot tub. You can't beat the price for this much space and free stuff. Loved it.

I loved this place mostly because of the staff! Everyone that I came in contact with was VERY nice and patient! I meet 4 front desk people and they all were amazing! The breakfast was great and my family enjoyed it! Leticia on the omelette bar was very nice no matter how demanding her job was! The room were decent size! Bedroom and sofa sleeper! There was no noise at night from inside or outside!!! Go!!!!!!!! You will enjoy it

Please Read!!! After making a reservation for a one night stay with my family, I became anxious about the reviews. I called the hotel, anticipating breaking my reservation. I spoke with the receptionist..who assured me that if I did not like the room, we could move. LONG STORY SHORT...I reserved on the Premium Floor..free vending and Kuerig. The room was great. It was clean, the loveseat bed was a bit thin, but it was one night. It was a respectable hotel. Reviews said it was dated..70's style. That is not true, not on my floor which may have been a tad improved. The hotel is undergoing some work..rooms to be completed later in the year, so the parking deck elevator was down, but we were lucky enough to find parking in the hotel lot rather than the deck. Otherwise, we had a great stay. Breakfast was over-flowing..like fresh, constantly bringing out new food and drinks..all in the newly updated restaurant area. MY POINT!!! Reviews can be misleading. This was an affordable hotel, lots of food choices within walking distance or a five minute drive. We will stay again during summer DC trips!!

Overall I thought this place was great for a weekend. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the HVAC but with a call to the front desk, they got it working in 30 min. We enjoyed the quietness even near the airport and city. They have a shuttle to take you to a metro station and airport so it is easy to get around.

The stay started off a little rocky. My initial room keys did not work so I carried my luggage all the way up to my room and had to bring it all back down. The second round of keys work fine the room is nice. The bathroom was clean but the hair dryer was pretty nasty. The hair dryer was full of dust and it covered in old Hairspray residue. Otherwise the facilities seemed . The sheets work clean and the bed comfortable. My TV in the front room didn't initially work, but they send up maintenance and he fixed the issue pretty quickly. The happy hour is nice and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is also relatively well serviced and the cooked-to-order omelets are amazing. I would definitely stay here again, I'm a fan of Embassy Suites, especially when traveling with family and having a little bit of extra room. It is a great value!

The service staff was professional, but the rooms are old and worn out. The air conditioning struggled, the hot water was warm, and room was not cleaned very well. Could have just been a bad day.

Ok. The above review was a month ago. I have since come back. And the staff is still very professional. The room was spotless, the food excellent, and A/C kicked ass. Changing my review to 4 stars...

Room was fine, nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about. The manager's evening (snacks and drinks) was horrible. There was very little food available. At other Embassy Suites I have stayed at they even had hot appetizers. Here it was raw vegetables and chips with salsa. The breakfast was better though. Much more variety.

Our stay was pleasant. They offered complimentary drinks and snacks in the evening and breakfast in the morning. The room had all the pleasures you would come to expect from a hotel (tv, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, etc.). Our shower was stuck in the hot position, but after a call to the front desk and about 15 minutes everything was fixed. We didn't use the pool (it was on the smaller side and a little crowded). Exercise equipment was also available, but we didn't use that either. The hotel is located within walking distance to a number of shops and restaurants. It is also within walking distance of the metro which we used to visit D.C. Overall we had a good experience and would visit here again.

Good location, reliable shuttles to both Reagan National and the nearby Pentagon City Station. Beds are nice & comfy, rooms seem up to date. Evening reception is predictably crowded, and the bar seems to be understaffed for the number of people every night. But the light appetizers change every evening, and we saw managers on the floor keeping an eye on staff every night. Lobby is also up-to-date and appealing. WiFi is fast. Breakfast food serving area is small for an Embassy Suites, making a crowded area seem extra packed. Tables for 4 or more can also be hard to snag, but being patient usually turns one up. Breakfast food is good. Staff again works hard to keep up with the demand, restocking clean plates, etc constantly.

I've stayed at a few other Embassy Suites before, but this one is my favorite. The managerial team took care of a situation for me with the greatest of ease. i loved the fact this property has an airport shuttle, and is literally across the street from a Whole Foods market.

Comfortable and close by. Excellent service with friendly staff. I've stayed here dozens of times; from a single night, to a month at a time. For work or vacation, I prefer to stay here. WiFi is good throughout the building, workout facilities are solid, and the food is excellent. Manager's reception is a popular event with light snacks and a friendly bar. Parking can get expensive, but more affordable street parking can be found within a short walking distance. Location is near amenities and popular destinations.

The hotel location is very convenient. It's a short walk from the Crystal City metro station, one stop from DCA. The breakfast was pretty good and included cooked to order eggs. The place was nice. The restaurant inside was shall but had good food and the service was good. There is no cafe inside though so there's no where to get coffee or tea at anytime throughout the day. They do provide free coffee in the mornings. Only other downfall is you have to pay for parking daily.

I typically stay at Embassy Suites for the two rooms and free breakfast. This was my first experience at this hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We utilized the shuttle one evening also and the driver was friendly. The room was ok, however, somewhat dated especially the bathroom. There was an issue with the heat and maintenance came to the room after 11:00 pm and worked for a while before realizing that a piece was needed; he came back and attached the piece and stated that the heater would now function properly. With it being so late we wrapped up and slept that night and left out early in the morning leaving the temperature set at 90 which we put it on the night before, before knowing their was an issue. When we arrived back to our room the next night after being out all day the room was still cold so maintenance was called again; another person came, however, he said it was working properly and we were provided with a space heater which of course only warmed one room; which as were my son slept and my husband and I were cold for the night.

The buffet food was not tasty and the omelet maker did not understand English well.

Pool and gym too small.
I felt over charged for my cold two nights stay; I probably will not visit this location again.

Amazing customer service here.

My wife and I stayed here along with other family members from across the country. The rest of the group had a great experience, but our room was unavailable when we arrived. We were given a room at the Double Tree instead. Upon returning, the front desk treated us very well, provided us with a delicious fruit basket and, most importantly, acknowledged that they had messed up with our room and sent us a card. Even though we had a bad experience, the team did such a good job at trying to make up for it that I recommend this location.

Fantastic location and great rooms. Stayed with family of two kids and they loved the breakfast. Hotel was very accommodating with late check in and out request for airport transfer in the morning. We had a suite which has ample room for everyone to run around and pack. Would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

When we arrived at the hotel to check-in @9pm, the hostess couldnt find our reservation at first. This was after several hours of walking in 95 degree weather in DC. We actually spoke to someone around 1pm regarding parking and they were able to see our reservation then (we weren't a tually able to check in that early bc our room wasnt ready).....The pool was small and closed at 10pm, so we we didnt have much time to swim after we checked in. Not a big deal about pool closing. I understand. My comments sound very negative, but the overall stay wasnt bad. A few annoyances when arrived @ the hotel after a long day just set a tone. Our room was nice and the hotel itself was nice.

Awesome staff, excellent breakfast and evening reception, fantastic room, only major areas of improvement are the cost of onsite parking and the shuttle availability.

The staff greeted me every time I walked in the door which was very refreshing as I'm used to going to smaller places with less attention and this was a nice change of pace. They have a special card system for their complimentary drinks and breakfast which I don't quite understand since we already get a keycard to the room and they don't actually fill out the information on the card, but I was asked to show the card each time and they were glad to serve once I did.

The suite is a lovely two room unit, with a sizable bedroom and "living" room both with their own televisions. There was one open outlet next to the bed but I moved the alarm clock to a different one to free up both outlets. The bedroom has blackout curtains standard in most hilton hotels and the bathroom was well appointed with soaps and what not. I keep most of my toiletries in a plastic bag (TSA safe) and I was pleasantly surprised to find them all laid out under a hand towel on the sink when I got back, props to the housekeeping for making me feel like they are cleaning when I'm out and that I'm at home. Internet is included for me as I'm a Gold member and it was very reliable and quick, which again was a happy find. I also received a couple of bottles of water and some snacks for my status, which was really nice, some places only give water and while it's nice, the snacks after a long day of flight delays is nicer.

My main criticism with this hotel (why I took off 1 star) is the availability of it's shuttle to the airport and the price of parking. This is clearly an airport hotel and they advertise as such, but their shuttle service doesn't start until 6:05AM, which means I need to get an Uber to meet a 6AM (and arguably a 7AM) flight. I've been to other airport hotels who actually called a cab and paid for it when it was outside of their hours for a shuttle, this would be a great addition. I also arrived (again after many delays) at around 1150PM and was told the next shuttle wouldn't leave for 30 minutes, driving me to get an uber to the hotel because I was tired and didn't want to wait. Final criticism is the parking, I had a friend come by and visit and they had to pay 30 dollars to park at the hotel and we didn't realize we could have just parked a mile away for 10 bucks (and a healthy walk). I understand they need to discourage parking (because even at that rate it was full) and this is more of a business expense which would be reimbursable, but it just feels like it's a very hefty price for a full service hotel. I will stay again, but I will also be aware of these issues when I do.

Hotel is generally the typical embassy suites package -- large comfortable suite rooms with separate areas for work and sleep. However, the service at this location has been absolutely phenomenal every time I've been. Front desk staff? Incredible. Bartenders during the evening reception? Super quick and knowledgable. Omelette masters holding down the fort at breakfast? Incredibly skilled and courteous.

I've been to nearly every embassy suites in the DMV and this location is my favorite by far.

Also here are some free pro tips for your stay:
-Always abundant street parking right on S eads St., which has the added benefit of being free early in the evening and throughout the weekend.
-The nearby "Paramount cafe" was a lovely little convenience store with everything you could ever need, not to mention a pastrami panini that may very well be the best sandwich I've ever had.

I stay here on a fairly regular basis while in DC for work. There are many, many hotel choices in the DC area but I choose to stay here because of the way I am treated by the staff here. Smiles all around. Tatiana is GREAT at the desk, Xiomara (ask for her if you eat here) is simply the best waitress I've ever had the pleasure to be associated with, Patsy and Sophie at the bar; they're all excellent! Another reviewer writes about the expensive and terrible food at the restaurant - NOT TRUE! Again, there are many restaurant choices in this area but most of the time, I eat here. Chef Andrew prepares a wonderful array of delicious and reasonably priced menu options. And if you don't see what you want, ask Xiomara; she may be able to have something specially prepared for you. And it's not going to break your wallet to eat here. The food is fresh, not frozen. Breakfast is good (and FREE), too. Are you a beer lover? You won't find many hotels of any caliber that can't beat the beer selection here. Generally, there are at least 10 craft beers to choose from. Again, Chef Andrew rotates different local favorites in and out of here often.

My rating is 4 and not 5 because the rooms could use to modern amenities such as data outlets for your cell phone (closer to the bed, please). I've never had a dirty room but it would be nice if they were modernized a bit.

I am rating this compared to other Embassy Suites.

Checking in, they only had one person behind the desk. This was during the day when traffic is high.

The Internet is weak. It barley works in the living room and doesn't work in the bedroom at all. I tried with Kindle, iPad, iPhone and none worked. They do have a wired connection in the living room though.

The vending machine on our floor didn't work. At least the desk was kind enough to give complimentary snacks, but we still had to go to the front desk to get it.

The TV in the living room only worked if it was cycled a few times. After being left on for a while, the picture went bad until the station was changed.

The bed was hard.

Would I stay here again? Only if convenient.

I really wanted to love this hotel but I just didn't. I checked in online the day before because I am a Hilton Honors member and they emailed me and gave me the option. I picked my room number (902) and my check-in time was 3 p.m. I did arrive early (about 1:45 p.m.). I asked if my room was ready, but they indicated it wasn't but gave me my parking pass to park and told me to come back at 3. I arrived back after 3 and my room still wasn't ready. One would think that since I was there early, the front desk would let housekeeping know I have arrived and to get my room ready asap. Since I did put check in time as 3, I would think that it would be done by 3 p.m. and not 4 p.m.

When my room was ready, the woman at the desk wasn't overly friendly. Just very blah. Our room was clean. No complaints there and it was well stocked with towels. Our room faced the parking lot so it was a bit noisy. I would ask for a room that doesn't face the street if you are going to stay here.

We went down for the happy hour they provide at the bar. The bar staff Friday night was rude. They just stood there and looked at me like I was bothering them by asking for a drink. We decided not to stay and to just go to the city that night. We came back that night and decided to have dinner in the restaurant. Don't!! The prices are outrageous and the food was terrible. $74 for a quesadilla, a cheeseburger and a couple of drinks. My boyfriend and I ordered a cranberry and vodka and we had to ask if they forgot the vodka because it tasted like just plain juice! I asked for sour cream with my quesadilla and it looked like milk! Extremely watery. It was obviously frozen and left to thaw out.

The breakfast they offer is decent. The made to order omelet station is just a big cluster and they should have more than one person back there making your omelet because the line moves very slow.

The most helpful person in the hotel was Alexandra behind the desk. Extremely friendly and was a big help in recommending restaurants in Old Alexandria.

Upon checkout, there were charges made to my room that were not mine. The front desk handled it, and although it was handled, it was still an inconvenience because we wanted to get on the road to see more sights before heading home.

The location is poor. Not the hotels fault. I wouldn't stay in Pentagon City again, and if I did, I would stay at the Ritz which is located next to the metro and in the mall. It's about a 10 minute walk to the metro from this hotel. The shuttle service runs every 30 minutes so that does help. However, there is nothing to do in the evening hours if you just want to go and have a nice dinner date or stop at a bar for a drink. There were only a few restaurants within walking distance and two of them were pizza shops.

Very clean, all-suite hotel with a fantastic breakfast buffet every morning. We parked right outside of the lobby where there are about 10 parking spaces. We ended up not having to pay anything for parking as we didn't move out car. Our family , also at the hotel, drove us wherever we were going. Room was spacious with a full-service kitchenette that had a microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. We had an amazing view of the Washington Monument and the Airport. Hotel staff and room service people are very helpful and polite. The linens and beds were amazing! Pool was extremely cold and somewhat small. Otherwise, it's a great hotel! I would choose this hotel above all other mid-level hotels when in the Alexandria/ DC area. Thanks to the staff there for making our stay comfortable and relaxing.
