ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity
• Use eco-label housekeeping products

ISO 50001 is based on the management system model of continual improvement also used for other well-known standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. This makes it easier for organizations to integrate energy management into their overall efforts to improve quality and environmental management.

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Rooms were nice, but starting to show their age. If you get a room on the interior by the pool, you'll be listening to kids swimming until ten or eleven at night. Happy hour was good - free drinks and snacks (pita bread/hummus, carrots/celery/ranch, chips/salsa) for two hours. I was there for business. Our hotel meeting room was right next to the kitchen, and it was loud. They need to work that out for future guests.

Great night sleep. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. The only issue was when we walked in, the room was cool, which I loved, but the ladies were not, lol. Good location, good around the area was plenty.

Our go-to place to stay in Flag. Love it! Nice and friendly staff. Clean spacious rooms. Nice pool area for the kids. Location is great. Can't beat it!

Was strange to have to pay for non-secured parking in Flagstaff, where there was really nothing around. Rooms were a bit smaller than I was used to for an Embassy. Otherwise staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Hosted happy hour could be better.

Great employees. Parker killed it during happy hour, always with a smile and friendly demeanor, even in the face of rush times. Alex greeted me every time I walked through the lobby. Definitely will stay here again when in Flagstaff.

Stayed here 3 separate times over last year. Nice hotel in heart of downtown. Close to campus and easy to get to off Milton, but far from freeways. They don't have a shuttle. They are pricey during peak times and seasons. Typical ES, the happy hour is meh, with chips and veggies and small bar space. Breakfast space gets crowded and lobby is tiny for number of rooms in hotel. Larger size fitness room than typically see so that was good, very clean too. Staff is great, kind and always helpful. Rooms and furniture nearing the time to update. Last stay had a broke heater and luggage rack (both fixed day reported)

Rooms could be better taken care of (they were clean but outdated). Management should intervene when a guest attempts to take advantage of another guest. A family was sitting at a table with three children. The parent had to get up and get her breakfast after getting food for her kids. Two women approached the three kids when the parent walked away and assumed the table with the kids seating with their meals. Subsequently, one of the three kids got about and called the parent back to the table to address the issue. The parent confronted the two women. The Two women refused to give the table back, so the parent asked one of the Hotel's manager to step (who witnessed the ordeal), but declined to do the right thing and have the family with three kids the ultimatum: work it out or find another table. Then made the statement to the parent of the three kids that it is the Hotel's policy not to pick sides regardless of who's right.

An amazing place at Flagstaff. The hotel is beautiful and very big. All facilities are awesome. I think they can do some add one yo breakfast to make it to embassy standards across the globe. Apary from that I can say you can never go wrong with this place.just give it a try and experience yourself. And if you make reservations in some you can get great prices as well.

This is one of the newer Embassy Suites and the rooms are comfortable and clean. We had a crib put in the living room and it worked very well for us. The standout was the service - every single member of the staff said hello every time you pass them, no request was not fulfilled immediately and the front desk staff were awesome. I travel a lot for business and this gets a thumbs up. In fact we’re booking again for next year.

In a really nice location in Flagstaff, located right behind NAU. The suite we stayed in was quite large, for the group our size we were all very comfortable and there was a lot of living space to hang out in. The free breakfast was really good, and every evening there was a happy hour with free drinks and snacks. Would definitely stay here again

This is my top recommendation for a campus area hotel in Flagstaff. Modern and clean. Often much more affordable than the Drury at the conference center, and government rates are honored. Right on campus.

It is more like 3.5 stars, but I can't do that here. Rooms are kind of small and the mattresses needs to be replaced. You end up rolling towards the middle. Staff is very friendly and nice. Rooms are clean. Happy hour isn't crowded and breakfast is pretty good.

While not an Embassy Suites originally, they have done a good job converting it. Made to order breakfast (omelet) was superb along with decent other options. Room was clean. Upon arriving, the room was like an oven, though, and we had to turn heat off all night. Good overall

Overall a very nice stay, everything and everyone was very nice. Hotel is a little older and it wasn't the cleanest hotel we have been to, but was for the most part fine. One of the other families we were traveling with also staying at the hotel, found black mold under their sink, and we're moved to another room immedietely. Continental breakfast was one of the better I have had, and the reception hour with free drinks makes up for some of the issues with the hotel.

Place is in need of a renovation. Outdated compared to other hotels I've stayed at. Drury Hotel next door looks a lot nicer. Walls are thin. I can hear conversations from the person next door while in my room. Not bad if your next door neighbors aren't loud, I guess. Might sleep in living room.

Customer service is amazing, many luxuries that are included with your payment. The only major issue is that the beds (at least in our room) are abysmal. The king bed was extremely thin, you could feel the springs. Great place to stay not a good place to rest.

Make reservations ahead of time for it is located on Milton Rd and near downtown Flagstaff. Busy place all year around and summers is the busiest season. Plenty of parking for small or large vehicles. Great place for the entire family! It's waiting for you!

Management promptly addressed any issues. But most importantly, service is phenomenal! Front desk staff is friendly and knowledgeable and if you are lucky enough to have Marisol and/or Mark working the breakfast area you will be impressed by their attention and courtesy! These two phenomenal staff members are always cleaning tables, picking up dishes, sweeping dropped food, etc! Truly pleased with our stay!

Clean rooms, friendly staff, delicious hot breakfast buffet! Only giving it four stars because, despite the rooms being very modern and clean, the mattresses could use a little upgrade.... (As of 9/7/17)

I usually love Embassy Suites but the beds here were super small, squeaky every time someone moved. That kept me up. Could even hear the neighbors beds squeak. Temp control of the room was not accurately working so it was either too warm or too cold. The cooler fan was very loud. They did have a great room layout minus the beds. Large TV's. Ample room for four. The staff was always very nice.

Great stay, but one small issue. The ac didn't work that great on the room. It wasn't bad enough to mention to staff, but when you can in from outside, it want so comfortable. It cooled off by the time we went to bed. The hotel had happy hour, which is great. Free drinks and snacks. Staff were very nice. Decent pool. Clean rooms.

Bryce was awesome. We had an internet issue and he took care of that immediately with great customer service. There was one issue in the bedroom that Bryce had no control over and we never brought it up and that was the sofa bed it needs to be replaced in room #229. Our son had to sleep on the sofa and put the bed back in. The bed springs were hurting him. Other than that it was a great stay! Thank you

Great Customer Service - I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member who reserved a room for a friend who was experiencing a tragic loss of a family member. I contacted the hotel directly to inform them that they would be arriving very late and to ensure that the room was covered with my points and that all costs were sent to me. The hotel went above and beyond to give them my Diamond upgrade and to ensure that they were well taken care of. My friend arrived in the early morning hours after driving for over 20 hours with an aging mother. I cannot thank the staff at the Embassy enough for the making their quick stay as pleasant as possible under the situation. Your kindness is so appreciated!

Nice place, comfortable beds, good breakfast and options. Nice location. Plenty of options to go out and eat and do things in flagstaff. Not too far from the canyon activities. Kind of a strong cleaning chemical smell stuck to the hallways but all in all a nice place to stay.

The food is good and the service is good once you get in the restaurant however the front desk staff could use a little bit of work we've come here twice and both times they lost our reservation... although this second time they did accommodate us but we had to explain it 5 times, 2 different people and show a text confirmation during the process were made to feel a little uncomfortable. Once you get in the restaurant so the service gets better and the food is pretty good.

This is a nice Embassy Suites. They have WiFi but it does not work well in the room. Step outside and it works great, which is kind of frustrating. Breakfast was a little slower especially since it wasn't very busy. Rooms were clean and staff was very nice.

I actually had to stay at this hotel for three months while looking for a home here in Flagstaff. Customer service is outstanding housekeeping Department couldn't have been better my room was spotless anything I needed I just picked up the phone and within minutes it was at the door. Upon arrival at the hotel knowing I was staying for a while they made sure I had everything I would need from the local newspaper to the weather report for the next 7 days as well as a list of local Realtors and rental agencies. Amazing try to get that at any other hotel and they'll laugh at you. Hands down the best housekeeping staff at any hotel anywhere in the US nice job keep up the good work

We stayed overnight due to an accident that closed down the freeway for us to get home. We got to take part in the free happy hour in the bar. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. Made our experience more enjoyable. Our room was clean and quite comfortable, with a separate seating area from the bedroom. The lobby was very clean and inviting as well.. our stay was short but nice.

The hotel and the city of Flagstaff are beautiful. The layout of this Embassy Suites is different than any you've experienced before. The hotel only had a couple levels, but had a large footprint with a large loop surrounding a small courtyard. However, the other features like the managers reception and the breakfast buffet with the cook-to-order omlet station are still there. The suites are a little smaller than most, but they are clean and comfortable. The hotel is right off of 40 and historic 66 with lots of food and shipping within walking distance.

Will never stay at this site again. Had someone attempt to break-in to our room while we were sleeping. We scared him off but he was able to get the door open. Thank goodness for the door stop-latch!!! Front desk told us that a guest mistakenly tried to enter our room. Really? If so, why did his key work? Otherwise, room was okay, seemed to need some updating (especially the hotel interiors/hallways). Breakfast wasn't good. Have stayed at other Embassy Suites and was very satisfied.

Stayed here before Christmas to ride the Christmas train in Williams. There were a lot of people during breakfast so maybe that was the problem, but there was hardly any food left when we went down. Also, the rooms are just ok.
