ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Clean and quiet in the rooms. Guests staying on the pull out couch in the sitting room said they could hear every noise happening out in the main area, but it was very quiet in the separate bedroom. The rooms do feel outdated. The rest of the hotel has changed with the years but the rooms haven't changed. That would be the only thing to make this place better.

I get to this location once a year for a convention. The room is always clean and well stocked. The desk staff is always quick to supply what ever I need. The breakfast cook is amazing at his job. There are plenty of great things to see near the hotel and lots of good dining. There is even a movie theater a block away.

A clean, well lit, welcoming location close enough to anywhere you might want to be in Lincoln. Reasonably priced for the room size and over-all quality of the establishment. Wifi had decent coverage but seems to struggle as if it was implemented before they considered the place being used as a large event space. That aside I would certainly drop by again if I end up in the city. P.S.: Great breakfast too.

Beds are comfortable. The breakfast is free and they have a chef who will make pancakes and omlets to order. In the evening there is a reception where dip is free and they serve drinks. The meeting rooms have met our needs perfectly. The location of the hotel puts you at the heart of downtown Lincoln.

I regularly deliver food orders to guests staying at the embassy suits. Although I've never had the opportunity to see the rooms themselves, the staff is always willing to help me find a specific room or watch my bag as i go up to the customers. The layout is interesting with a main lobby in the center which has open air clear to the top floor.

We love the Embassy here in Lincoln. The evening reception (free snacks and drinks) from 5:30 to 7:30 is welcoming. The morning breakfast is wonderful. We are here for a convention and love how close it is to the Pinnacle Arena and Haymarket. Oh, and the rooms have everything!

Amazing hotel with great staff! We had a mishap with Toppers Pizza giving our pizza to the wrong person when delivered and the lady at the front desk immediately stepped up and offered us food and a snack bag since we weren't able to get the pizzas. The room was very clean and the business center was nice! Will definitely be coming back if I'm in town again.

Visited Lincoln during a game day and it was really cool to see how football brings the people together. The town feels really lively yet safe at night with people of all ages hanging around bars and restaurants in the area. The hotel room was very comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly.

My wife and I stayed at the Embassy Suites this weekend along with our infant son. It's a great location in downtown Lincoln. We paid for the convenience of valet parking due to downtown being busy for the Spring Game. The rooms are starting to feel a little outdated, but are very comfortable and spacious. We made sure to get up early for their breakfast which is always amazing. We also went swimming (our sons first time).

Rooms are clean and comfy. Check in was quick and employees very courteous. Free drinks and minor apps are always the best reason to stay at Embassy. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the room hvac. Old controls and can t go outside hotel set points for that time of year.

Great location. The whiskey and steak restaurant across the street is great. It’s also very close to everything else of import.

Good rooms. Friendly staff.

Great social hour 1730-1930. Can’t ever complain about free wine/beer/cheese/snacks. The only issue is you have to pace yourself if you want to go out for dinner and see the city. You could live off the free breakfast and social hour offerings very easily and happily. Probably the best part about Embassy Suites.

The parking was across the street, but not too inconvenient. The valet is $8 more per day. It’s still cheaper than any large city you’d stay in.

Good job guys. I enjoyed my stay. Recommended!

Went to a christmas party event. Very clean facility. Friendly staff but possibly not enough staff. Dishes were not cleared and coffee was not served. Food was good. More staffing would easily solve the issues and earn the embassy 5 stars instead of 3.

This is a very nice hotel with clean comfortable beds and a fairly big bathroom. The location is ideal in downtown Lincoln if you're looking to have a good time there is seemingly countless bars in walking distance. My only complaint is the check in process was slow and the employee checking us in didn't seem to know how to do most things.

The venue was great for our work party. The staff was friendly and courteous. Everything was clean. The room was comfortable and well kept. The breakfast the next morning was perfect, albeit a little slow, which was expected from how many people were present.

It's a nice hotel, very comfortable, friendly staff. But the traffic and parking is absolutely the worst I think I've ever seen. To park in the garage, you have to drive past the hotel, then around the block making FOUR left turns! The garage is across a one-way street (which is going the wrong way). Parking is very expensive and the last time I was there I had to park all the way up on the roof of the 8 story garage! Skip the Embassy Suites and stay in the Hilton Garden Inn, it's just a few blocks away and the parking and traffic are much easier.

We've stayed here many times while visiting Lincoln and it's by far the best place to stay in town if you like being close to everything downtown,.. the Food, bars, clubs ECT. Everything is within walking distance and with Lincoln's beautiful downtown it's the only place to stay. The staff is great, we love the valet parking and room service. The food is fantastic! If your heading to Lincoln for ANYTHING this is the place to stay. (The stadium is just a few blocks too!! Go big red!!)

Good hotel in a great location. My only complaint is that on my first morning here tbreakfast (hot breakfast anyway) seems to be only through the made to order line. Most Embassy Suites have self serve for bacon, scrambled eggs, etc. On the second morning they had breakfast on the line but it was cold - they hadn't turned on the food heaters or something. Third morning the breakfast was okay (but still not great compared to other Embassy Suites I've stayed at).

The evening receptions seem have been equally mediocre. I've only come down for one but the chips they had out were stale. I couldn't finish them.

All in all, it's a good hotel but I have felt that the quality of the amenities is a little lacking compared to other Embassy Suites locations.

The staff was very friendly the moment I walked in. My room was very clean, a bit cold easily and quickly solvable with the thermostat. I wasn't able to attend the appetizer event going on in the evening but if it's anything like breakfast I would definitely recommend going. My bed was very comfortable and felt as if I was sleeping in my own bed at home. Breakfast was exceptional, they had a variety of food to choose from such as fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, eggs, waffles, and even custom omlet. My only complaint is parking as the valet didn't know what pricing was so I parked in the garage across the way for just 5 dollars.

Thank you Embassy Suites in Lincoln Nebraska for all you and your staff did to insure that the Crete Carriers Christ-mas Party was a huge success. My husband of only 5 months was never able to come before. His late wife (of 40 years) was never able to go due to raising a family and sickness. This lady thanks Crete Carriers for having this Party every year for there extended family members. Merry Christ-mas and Happy New Year

So far everything has been pretty great. The breakfast is amazing and they have provided great service while I've been here with a conference. The housekeeping isn't the greatest though. First night in we had a towel hung that looked like someone who had been eating Cheetos had handled it. Not that it's a big deal, but when they replaced the shampoo/conditioner on the second day they had mismatching brands set out. They also didn't take our trash out for whatever reason. Overall, it's a pretty great place, but for the price, I guess I would have expected a little more out of housekeeping.

Overall it was pretty nice. There were a few minor things like the desk drawer handle was barely attached and there was water damage on a ceiling corner in the bedroom. Large suites are comfortable and quiet with some good views of the city from upper floors. Housekeeping could be improved, but is not a deal breaker. Desk staff was courteous and valet parking efficient. The breakfast was good, but coffee dispensers supplied lackluster joe. I would stay here again.

We stayed at the hotel for one night from Saturday to Sunday and had a great time. Saturday nights they have free drinks and snacks at a social hour from 5:30 to 7:30. The room itself was very spacious and accommodating with two queen beds and a pull out couch in the other room. Two TVs and a well stocked bathroom. The morning breakfast was very good although the line for cooked foods was incredibly long (20-25 minute wait). The valet service was great and the parking is free if you'd rather park yourself in their private garage. Overall a very lovely experience where you get what you paid for.

Loved the complimentary breakfast cooked to order and the suite was roomy and nice. I didn't like the water bottle that was in the fridge and looked complimentary but cost $3. There was another sitting near the sink that had a tiny price tag hidden on it. The conference rooms were outdated and I wasn't impressed with the food, but it was a fine experience. The hotel looked neat with the creek running through it. The loading bay party was fun too.

The location was easy to find with a parking garage conveniently across the street. The convention center was not very large however the layout is thought out and easy to navigate, and we'll maintained. The catering was decent and had enough variety to accommodate just about anyone. All in all it was a pleasant experience. The only negative thing I can say is that a few of the rooms were getting a bit warm by the end of the work day. This was due in part to the high attendance in some of the rooms.

8

Very nice cooked to order breakfast. The room was nice, what I would expect for an Embassy. Parking isn't too bad, easy to valet but the garage is just across the street and there's a walkway so you don't have to walk outside. I was disappointed to see instead of Fox News as the channel guide stated, it was Headline News... but I won't go down any conspiracy rabbit holes. Friendly staff too.

I love the Embassy Suites. My kids love them too. This one has the standard large atrium with rooms going up nine floors. It's in downtown Lincoln so there is not an open parking lot. It has valet parking, which is good and bad. They do a good job, but it can be a little silly having to wait for your car a couple minutes. I was a little disappointed because the pool itself was pretty cold. My kids didn't really mind though so it must not have been too cold.

Went to a Girl Scout fundraiser call Art venture. Had a nice time. The lobby of the Embassy was very nice with all the waterfall. Was able to park across the street in the garage and walk through the walkway on the 3rd floor. The only bad thing I in countered was the restroom was out of paper towels.

We were attending a social event before the Husker Spring game. The lobby was busy, but not too crowded, the front desk line moved quickly and they were very helpful. At our event the food staff and wait staff were constantly checking and filling the food and they were clean and very polite. Before heading to the stadium, we stopped at the bathroom. Knowing the amount of people staying and participating in hotel events, we were pleased the bathrooms were clean and toiletries stocked.

Definitely recommend Embassy Suites Lincoln! Staff is super friendly, the rooms are nice, and the hotel itself was pretty. The complimentary breakfast was way better/nicer than expected, or any other hotel I've been to. They also gave out free drink tickets and had snacks during the 2 hr window they gave you to use them. Great experience!

Fantastic hotel. Awesome breakfast! Rooms were clean and service was great. We brought 130 high school students on a trip. They had an amazing experience. I would have given 5-stars but the lobby and lobby restrooms were very dirty after a party in one of their ballrooms the night before. We also had some difficulty checking out as they tried to add bar charges to our students' rooms. The staff seemed inconvenienced when we contested the charges. Their system for verifying room numbers when charges are made at the bar is deeply flawed. After bringing $10,000 in business to their hotel, I expected better. That said, we had a great experience and I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. (especially for families)

This was the 2nd time staying at embassy suites in Lincoln and it is a top notch facility!! Bed are fantastic and my wife and I both we like we would love to have the same pillows at home. This Embassy is nice. However, when I pulled in to valet my car, the attendant asked me for a tip. Right then and there. It was so weird. I always tip, just when I get my car back. Then when I met my sister inside she said the same thin happened to her. Very acquired. We both felt very uncomfortable. We told the front desk about it the next day - they did not seem to concerned. Then when we leaving for a bit the manager of valet was at our car. We talked with him about it, and he was very nice and understanding. Which was good to see. Everything other than that went fine.

We had a girls night at Embassy last night and could not have been more impressed! Our room was absolutely beautiful, the 9th floor is well worth the gorgeous ride up the elevator :) every staff member we encountered was A+ but we need to give a special shout out to Mark Forget, the fastest guy delivering drinks, food, and sincere smiles to your door you'll ever meet. Rooms were great. Lots of things around close by downtown. Made to order omelets for breakfast. Only thing lacking is free WiFi.
