I was at Embassy Suites for a 2.5 day meeting, and it was pretty nice! The room we had was clean and everything worked. We had hot coffee, cold water and cold sodas throughout the meeting. Our lunches both days were decent. I would suggest offering cheese for the burger lunch :) (not sure if that was due to Embassy Suites or if our company didn't splurge for cheese) They also had pleasant indie music playing at a reasonable volume in the open spaces of the hotel. It was an incredibly pleasant change from the usual contemporary or elevator music found in most places.

The surrounding area is convenient. The lobby is exotic. The omelet station makes the breakfast satisfactory. The hotel itself could use an update. The bathroom area within the rooms allows for no privacy.

Such a kick ass design and layout! They breakfast in the morning was top notch for hotel breakfast. Staff was helpful and accommodating. The only draw back was the pool. Cloudy and the edges of the plaster was sharp.

Location was near everything in Lubbock, right across the highway from a nice mall. Service was good, we got a lot of snacks from the snack bar and they were reasonably priced. Didn't have to deal with staff if we didn't want to. Beds were clean and comfortable. Room doesn't come with a robe and only tiny amounts of shampoo and lotion. Overall an above average hotel experience.

We were very impressed with this hotel. It has a really nice large, clean lobby with a water feature complete with koi fish. The people working the front were friendly & competent. There is a welcoming happy hour with complementary snacks & beer & wine and the breakfast service the next morning is fabulous. I was especially impressed with the breakfast service staff. Every one of them smiled, said "good morning" and were fast & efficient. The rooms are nice & clean and the mattresses felt comfortable with good bedding. All four of us slept very well. This hotel seems to be very well run.

Only reason didn't give 5 stars is they don't walk on water. older hotel, supposed to be renovated soon. clean great staff, only thing that would make them better is if they could walk on water

Had a water line break during visit... so my experience was probably not the norm. Staff was polite and helpful. There was a long wait for front desk help. Room was not ready on time. Lobby entrance was closed and there were no directions on where the alternate entrance was located or any assistance getting luggage to the rear of the hotel (alternate entrance)

Wonderful experience, convenient location. I like staying here every year when attending the convention for Jehovah's Witnesses in the summer and I haven't come across any issues. They even called me to make sure that my room was comfortable during my stay. Great customer service.

This is the first Embassy I have ever stayed at and I loved it! Very unique layout, loved that breakfast was served in a large open area instead of a small room. The breakfast was warm and we got made to order omelets which were delicious. We stayed in a suite and the room was very clean and the bed was so comfy I was able to sleep straight through the night when I'm usually up every few hours. All in all a great experience and would love to stay there again

Rooms are dated with really thin walls. The staff is exceptional. The hotel could use a bunch of updating to match the level of service from your staff.

Nice reception, spacious suites, and a good breakfast, unless you're looking for certain foods 15 minutes before shutdown, like bananas and oatmeal, then you're out of luck. Be aware that if you go out the back entrance near the laundry room, you can't get back in because there's no keypad, despite what the sign next to the door says. My wife went to get water from one the machines, and it sprayed her in front of an unapologetic staff member. I've been Diamond for over 15 years, and this isn't the same Embassy Suites I remember from several years ago.

Hidden in a corner of the business side of Lubbock stands a hotel that is unlike most pay to sleep businesses. Offering clean spacious rooms, a cozy courtyard, and numerous amenities, this hotel stands above most in its class. If you are visiting Lubbock, a recommend Embassy Suites

Everytime we pass through Lubbock we stay the night here. The kids love this Embassy, the kids are able to feed the fish while we enjoy happy hour. The staff have on their name tag a city on it, a good conversation starter!
Friendly staff, family friendly, good breakfast & Happy hour!!! For a family of 5, you can't beat the price!

service was great as you would expect from an embassy suites. The room was really funky with the bathroom vanity in the bedroom instead of in the bathroom. Their happy is always something to look forward to but their snack were subpar a little but I can't complain at all as it is complimentary! I still think that embassy suites is the best bang for your buck and would stay here again.

Like others said hotel is old & dated. But they totally make up for it with free breakfast and happy hour every day! Legit breakfast with made to order omelets, fresh cooked pancakes and a lot more. Happy hour isn't just beer & wine, but also margaritas and mixed drinks like whiskey & coke. Stuff would cost a ton elsewhere especially if you're travelling with a group...Genius. Also, place is spacious, staff is super friendly, and wife got a great deal on Priceline.

It's an older hotel, but so deserving of an update given how well the staff take care of their guests. We had an overnight stay that was a very pleasant experience. Breakfast the following morning was very good, both pre-cooked and cook to order. I would recommend this Embassy any time you're in Lubbock without a second guess.

I was there for our Geek Squad quarterly training meeting on 10/13/17. We used one of the meeting rooms that was set up and decorated very nice. We were served sandwich fixings, potato salad and great soft cookies for desert. Great experience as always. This was my third time being here for such events.

Reserved a room for 2 adults and 2 children (2 queen beds). Gave us a room with a king because they sold out on double beds. They said the reservation only showed two adults. I showed them my reservation. Didn't matter. I was upset because we paid a pretty penny and had to sleep on the couch. Several people i spoke with at the Manager's special reception said the same thing about their rooms. The appetizers served were not impressive. Celery, cheese, salad and fried zucchini 😑. I was very disappointed in my stay.

Loved our stay here. Hotel is older and has its share of issues you'll see given the age, but all are minor compared to the positives. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast (bar or cooked to order), and all the conveniences of a 2 room suite. Will stay here again.

Has a cool design. Breakfast is good. Overall, it hasn't been a bad experience. They lose point for the very bad coffee maker in the room. The staff is also overly friendly. Its obvious mangemnet forces everyone to be extra friendly and it seems very scripted. That's very annoying to me. I also found tons of dust and garbage, including a condom wrapper, behind the TV stand. Had to take another star off for that.

My husband and I had our wedding there a little over a year ago. We went back there for our one year anniversary. They treated us like royalty. They wanted our anniversary to be so special and One to remember. I love that they have a happy hour where you can drink for free! The breakfast in the morning is outstanding. And the even let you take so I'm back to your room. For our anniversary when we walk into a room they had a wonderful personalized note and a tray of goodies. I personally don't know if they remember doing that because a little bit later they came up with free champagne and some more goodies. What a way to treat their customers. The front desk staff are so on the spot with everything. They want to make sure that you really enjoy your stay and go out of their way to do it. We stayed in one of their presidential suites The second time they have a really awesome shower that was so great to take in. Their beds are soooo comfortable I had a great night sleep.

I used points and got a free room. When they asked the reason for my visit I told them that it was my twins birthday and they were 8 today. What a great experience I had at this hotel! This is one of the nicest hotels I've had the pleasure of staying at. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very well kept and feels luxurious.

The amenities in my king room on the first floor were exactly what I wanted with no stains, scuffs, or scratches on anything. The room was spacious and well-furnished with a comfortable couch and chair, with tv, desk, fridge, microwave, and sink in the front section of the room. Another TV in a large TV cabinet, a comfortable king bed, and bathroom were in the back half.

Apparently at Hilton hotels, all rooms include complementary made-to-order breakfast in the morning as well as complementary horderves, soft drinks and cocktails in the evening. The hotel has a pool and a nice-looking courtyard.

I would absolutely prefer to stay at a Hilton hotel in the future and would highly suggest this hotel to anyone needing a hotel room in Lubbock.

Was greeted by every employee. Made to feel at home. Exceptionally clean! Beautiful, relaxing interior. Small pond with fish. Open indoor courtyard with tropical plants and a bubbling and refreshing faux creek area. Outdoor courtyard was peaceful and serene at night. Rooms were extremely nice and clean. Only reason for not rating 4 stars is due to pool being very cloudy and the jacuzzi reeking of chlorine to the point it was not relaxing to sit in. It made our eyes water and , burn and there was a harsh chemical smell. There was a maintenance worker that came in to the pool area while we were there so I assume he was there to correct issues.

I can't say enough good things about this location. Yes, the decor is a little dated, but everything was very clean and worked well. More importantly, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. There truly wasn't one staff member I encountered who wasn't smiling, friendly, and cared about how our stay was going. We reserved 3 rooms as we had family in town for a funeral. We had unexpectedly large flower arrangements with us, and Jerad helped us carry them in and stored them in the cooler overnight. We were met with a thoughtful card and gift basket in our room expressing sympathy for our loss. And our family had a wonderful space in the atrium to gather and talk. I was truly amazed at the quality and friendliness of the staff. Thank you for making a tough weekend a little easier.

This place is pretty nice on the surface, but is definitely showing its age. Walls and ceilings are paper thin. Plumbing thumps and ticks loudly. The AC is weak at best. Floors creak loudly. Having said that, oddly enough, I actually really liked the shower. The towels are nice, but the bed linens could be better. The pillows are horrible. The breakfast is fine, as long as you enjoy the cook to order omelettes. I don't, so it was basically a continental breakfast with luke warm oatmeal. Instant coffee from a machine. Yuk!

This hotel is huge and has free bar from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. It has free food during happy hour too. It offers full continental breakfast and has 2 restaurants. The living room is a bit odd to from what I've seen before and the pool is not to big. The staff was nice and trying be as helpful as possible but of course you get that one employee that has an attitude. I would definitely stay.

Attending a multi-day (7hr/day) training seminar held in a multi-purpose rooms. The whole place appears to be very clean and while the decor feels a bit dated, it's still nice looking. We're provided with lunch at the hotel and the food was decent with large portions (day one had chicken and beef fajitas with two cheese enchiladas and sides). I'd definitely come back here for conferences and if the multi-purpose room is a reflection of the guest rooms, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

We liked it. It was my husband, my 4 yr old, and I. I liked that my daughter could sleep on the pull out in the living area. The bathroom was off the bedroom. So we didn't have to wake her up to use the bathroom.

I loved the atrium and the coy pond. My husband and kid liked swimming in the pool.

To be honest though, there were a couple things that seemed like they needed renovating. Not too much bit the one thing that kinda bothered me was that the sinks and tub were clogged.

The Embassy Suites is a conveniently located hotel near to the South Plains Mall, just off of Slide. I was impressed when I walked into the hotel. It had a unique design that felt almost like we were outside while inside of the building. The high ceilings and natural light, fountains, open bar area and courteous staff were pleasant surprises. The room was clean and tidy, and special attention to detail from the housekeeping staff showed in the bathroom and bedrooms.

The issue I had was with the noise. The room was probably the loudest I've stayed in up to now. I was on the first floor and was able to hear every movement of the tenant above me. It seemed any movement would creak through the whole room. Unfortunately this was happening late at night and there wasn't anything I could do about it. Additionally, when the air conditioner turned on, it sounded a bit like a distant jackhammer. It would only make the noise for about 10 seconds, but it was enough when it kicked on to be bothersome. The shower and bathroom was very plain with few special amenities. The sink area was in the bedroom, which I personally don't prefer. The room size was great, however, with a large suite and two separate rooms.

Overall the experience was good. Great staff, nice sized room, but there were some fundamental problems with the room concerning noise that kept me up at night.

This was our second time to stay at the Embassy in Lubbock and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The indoor swimming pool was a hit with our kiddos, the happy hour was great for my husband and me. Why do we have see through windows for the front of the room? Not cool. Toilet screams at me when I flush it. Tried to cancel driving form NM to TX and was told I would be charged 139 for a cancellation fee, had to stay 1 night until next day, was up working till 2 am had to be ready to check out at 630 am, after I check i get a1000$ hold on my card for nothing? THEN to make it even better I had to n the one to 3 way a call between the hotel manager and my credit card company yay!! Please go to homewood suites I would never get that treatment there!

Interesting parking lot layout, very nice on the inside. Large rooms, windowed doors (with curtains) that let light in during the night, but a door between the beds and the main door. A little close to the loop and there's no fan for white noise so you hear cars all through the night.

It's hard to give it three stars when it seems so nice. Unfortunately, the shower curtain being too short, shower head dribbling water everywhere but forward and the horridly slow internet drag it from a five to a three. Noise can be an minor issue as well.

Edit: let's call it non existent internet. 1.2mbps. Seriously I think dial up would be a better option. Or pony express.

I've stayed here for several weeks throughout the year and while everything is clean and the staff is very friendly, I always find something that keeps me from giving this hotel higher than 3 stars. On one visit, I must have been next to a maintenance room where it sounded like someone was running a washing machine at nearly 1am; very noisy. On another stay, someone's cigarette smoke made it into my bathroom and some other guest rooms as well. On another stay, my phone had no label on it so I didn't know what to dial for room service or a wakeup call. On another stay, my tea/coffe wasn't refilled the entire week. There's an issue every time I stay here and while it may not be anything major, it still happens consistently. I just had to call the front desk because one of the phones in my room doesn't work.

Wow!!! Just wow! I've been here 30 minutes and have already been shown more respect and courteousness then any hotel I've stayed in the past 4 years. And this place has a very nice environment. 30 minutes and embassy suites has already set the standard for hotels
