- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

The room was spacious and generally clean, but parts of the carpet were sticky. Breakfast was good with lots of tasty options. Parking was not free ($10/night). Internet is also not free unless you are a Hilton Honors member. We were disappointed to find out that there was a lot of construction and renovation at the hotel. While the pool was open, the hot tub was not functioning. We found out from the staff that outside food is not allowed in the common areas even though the restaurant host told us it was fine as long as we say away from the restaurant. This was our first time staying in Milpitas so we were really caught off guard by the strong odor of trash throughout the city from what we guessed was a nearby landfill. If you can get past this, the location is actually pretty convenient.

Place is still under construction, but of what was done, decor was updated and pretty nice. Rooms were decent, staff was friendly. Met the wedding party here for a brief period so can't say much about the price or how worth this place was. But if you're attending an event or are a guest at an Indian wedding at the India Community Center, I would definitely recommend it.

This location is currently under construction but the hotel functions adequately despite that! The room could've been cleaned a bit better, there seemed to be a snot like substance on the shower curtain... But other than that it was good. Quiet at night, and feels safe.

Embassy suites is a nice hotel. The front desk services are great. They were very nice and helpful. The rooms however seem a bit outdated. It's nice and spacious but it could use some new stuff in it. Like the TV, for one, sucks. I brought my Amazon fire stick to use but you can't even change the input or source to a different one at all. I was really upset with that. Also the balcony was covered with webs so I didn't go outside to use it. What's great about embassy is that they have great happy hour and really good free breakfast. If you're staying here for some event or w.e and won't be staying in your room for long then I would recommend this place. But if you're a hotel body like me, then this is not the hotel for you.

Had a hard time checking in because of a problem with their computer system and when they finally got it up and running we were rushed through With out giving us all the needed info; breakfast location and time, pool location. (We were later comped one day off the bill) rooms were clean and well equipped. Called the desk for an extra blanket and received it not long after. If you are not picky about food then I would recommend the breakfast, breakfast cube potatoes were old and the eggs were not hot.
I would give this place another try mainly because of the friendly staff and “ok” rooms.

Remodeling is taking too long.
Zero AC to marginal effectiveness.
Wedding party spread out and not grouped together as requested.
Missed assignments and confusion at the desk on rooms.
Good breakfast.
Bugs in the room.
Never able to connect onto the HiFi.
Maintenance staff overloaded - good effort!

With compensation for poor conditions, increased from 1 star to 2 stars.

This hotel is being renovated (July 2018) and will be done soon. It's already looking great and will be even better once the renovation is complete in 2weeks. I used the new gym and it was good with all new equipment.

This WAS our favorite hotel. Under major construction and our family will miss all of the beautiful garden/tropical style features that it had in the past. Do not stay here until the construction is done! They do not mention that it is under renovation when booking and if we would have known that, we wouldn't have stayed there. Rooms are very old with walls and furniture damaged and we found a weird looking bug in our bed...unfortunately this will be the last time we stay. I will truly miss this place. It was so beautiful and unique. 😔

Property is older and shows it. They nickle and dime you with $10 parking, no shuttle service, $2.50 sodas in the vending machines and high prices on room service items. The rooms are spacious. But furniture and carpets are grubby. Renovations to the lobby is unlikely to do much to lift the tone of the place

Hotel is remodeling the common areas. Room is old, but enormous and decoration outdated. Air conditioner is weird, some cerntral unit that can only be hot, cold and neutral. AC only circulated air during my stay. 62 outside. Bed was comfortable.

The beautiful tropical jungle like atrium is no more unfortunately. That gave the hotel a cool and unique personality; making you feel like you were on vacation on some exotic location. I'm not sure what the new design is going to look like; hopefully it turns out nice. Still, the jungle atrium will be missed!

Comfortable hotel, dated interior in room but comfortable bed and slept well. No noise. Gym is adequately equipped and is newly refurbished. The lobby and atrium areas are still being refurbished.

Very sweet staff there. Happy hour is great! And free! Their main area was under construction at the time, but the rest of the building was nice. The view is AMAZING. I highly recommend staying here.

Very nice staff, and an excellent breakfast buffet. The high flow shower was awesome! Its right in the middle of a remodel, so the courtyard is closed off. Definitely could use some updating throughout. No problem visiting again though.

The hotel was under construction, which we knew ahead of time so that didn’t bother us. However, there was trash all over the hotel. People threw trash from their balconies onto the tarp in the center of the hotel. There was trash in the hallways. We got back to our room at 11pm after a long day at a gymnastics meet. You could hear music blaring from the hotel as we got out of our car. There were adults and kids sitting in the hallways as we walked to our room. In our room we could still hear music and people screaming and fighting. The indoor pool had a security guard sitting outside of it at all times. We chose the hotel so that our kids could enjoy the pool, but we ended up not letting them use it because it was always overcrowded and the cleanliness of the hotel made me worry about how clean they keep their pool. I would not stay at this hotel gain.

Overall not a bad place but we definitely felt the impact of the large amount of construction that's going on the first floor. The architecture is a little different in that there's a large open Central space with all the rooms around the periphery. It does make for a somewhat noisy environment when you have kids running around. The other problem is that the Furnishings that appears somewhat dated and the televisions in the room Are No Name brand that definitely does clash with one's expectation of an Embassy Suites especially in a place so close to Silicon Valley. The morning breakfast is reasonably well stocked but it's not the tastiest and it grows old pretty quickly. I was skipping a towards the end of our three days stay and going elsewhere.

What a wonderful hotel. Service was good and our large group was well accommodated. It was unfortunate that the courtyard was completely torn up and inaccessible for renovations. This in itself would have been fine, but it also caused a downgrade of the breakfast service and happy hour. It is also high time to update the room decor... Even just replacing the old carpet with tile or wood would bring it up to date. I was satisfied with the furniture and other finishings, but I wanted to have a safe in the room. I look forward to staying again one day and enjoying the full experience.

Older hotel. Rooms could use some upgrading. It was still a nice place to stay. The rooms are nice size with a separate bedroom. Breakfast is included and was really nice. Parking was free, which is amazing for this area. We would stay here again.

Stayed during construction of the atrium. Would not stay again, even when construction is complete. The pool was absolutely filthy - you almost could not see the bottom. The rooms were okay, but in need of new carpet, paint etc. Upon checking in we were given a full page of warnings about it being illegal to have more than 4 people in the room (pretty hard when you have three kids), and listed a curfew among other things.

I get the idea that this hotel has a problem with teenagers who stay to party. I see how that would be a difficult situation to deal with. That said, I expect Embassy Suites to be a nice place for me and my family to stay. This was not the case in Milpitas. It’s well worth staying somewhere else.

they are going through an extensive remodel of the common area. Breakfast is moved to a small conference room. there was not enough seating for the number of guests and no omelette bar or waffle station. the renovation included Jack hammers during the day. I would not visit until the construction is finished in May 2018

This hotel is not aging well. Hot water didn't work one morning, super loud (construction?) fan outside disrupted sleep every night, TVs are pretty small, bed was like the Appalachian hills. Al of that being said, breakfast is pretty good!

Love the room we were in. Nice indoor pool & hot tub with a little gym. Cool ambiance in the center of the hotel with 2 elevators opposite of eachother. The manager special is awesome ( Free drinks from 5:30pm-7:30pm )! In addition to that is the complimentary breakfast the next day with a superb variety of foods to digest. My wife and kids very much enjoyed their stay as well. We will indubitably be going back!

It has a very pretty design and clean rooms, but is a little bit noisey. There were a lot of kids when I was there, which was fine because I went to party in a hotel room, but I would not say it's a peaceful place for an early night's rest. The room I was in had a living room and a doorway into a bedroom. There was also a pullout couch. This made it a suitable choice for my group of 4. Overall I rather liked this hotel and would probably stay again.

The room was very spacious and the balcony over looked the city. It was nice and quite as well. The pool was amazing. The free complimentary breakfast buffet was great, they had plenty of food and they refilled the stands as soon as they ran out. It was a bit crowded since there was a 49ers game but all in all it was a great stay.

The hotel is very beautiful and big. Pretty good customer service for the most part. Only downside was the designated smoking rooms.. they had a very strong smell of tobacco which is understandable since its a smoking room. Maybe they just need to add in an air freshener or something?

Had a family reunion here for the last 14yrs and the hotel has gone downhill since. With all the rooms we had this trip ,close to 10. In our room the sliding glass door was broken and could not be locked. My in laws room the bathroom door was falling off the hinge. Cousins room there is black mold in the bathroom. In aunts room the ceiling was falling down. There is no money going back into upkeep here. Now they are charging for parking. Also there is a power problem here and there is a very large generator keeping power up. Not to mention the God awful diesel smell. It's obvious that the staff are aware but their hands are tied.

We had a nice experience here and the staff were exceptional. We had some safety concerns in our room and the manager promptly addressed the issue personally.

Safety concerns: the latch for the balcony door was broken, so our 2-year old son could easily get to the balcony on his own; and many of the trundle bed springs attaching the mattress to the frame were broken or missing. They replaced the couch entirely and repaired the lock to the door while we were out for the day. Great service!

The three star rating is due to the generally broken down feel of the suite we stayed in.

Room was pretty good size, enough for my wife and two boys. To tvs, one in the living area and the other in the room, which had two beds. Nice size bathroom too. Today I took an exam that was held at one of the conference rooms on the ground floor. It was well organized, comfortable, and overall a very pleasant experience. Travelling eastbound on E Calaveras Blvd, ease and google maps showed us doing a double roundabout to get to the main entrance. Found it easier to use N Hillview Dr instead unless you're traveling westbound on Calaveras/237. The outside parking lots were well lit. Check-in was pretty painless just before 9 PM. The rooms seemed a little dated but were comfortable with a separate bedroom. Stopped for a couple drinks at the bar before bed where the service was adequate at best.

Nice hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is fairly friendly. The internet is fairly slow, but not any moreso than most hotel chains in the area. Overall, I'm happy with the hotel. There are a number of good reasonably priced restaurants in walking distance as well.

The staff is lovely! The rooms are quite comfortable. I love that there is a sitting room separate from the bedroom. Being able to hang out at the atrium was my favorite part. There is a koi pond with a few koi, and plants everywhere! The complimentary breakfast is tasty, and there are quite a few choices! The pool is large, and can get loud when there are kids in there. I highly recommend this hotel. For me, staying there is the vacation!

They seem overwhelmed by their guests. The staff seems to be doing their best, but they're abrupt and stressed. They take a really long time to get additional towels and blankets, I don't think they have enough. I have fond memories here, I used to come here with my family as a kid. The decor is really cool, and the breakfast potatoes are delicious. They just seem a little over run.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Check-in staff is professional and friendly.

What I DO NOT LIKE is having to pay $10 to park in their lot. Of course $10 isn't going to make or break anyone, but in general as a paying customer, parking should be free.

Happy Hour and breakfast are a very nice touch!

The place is right off 680. Very easy access. I think this is the 1st time I went into this place. Gosh, it is beautiful and there is a indoor swimming pool right next to the hallway. Everything seems clean and nice. I didn't get a chance to check the room but it probably will not be too bad.

I attended a seminar for work. The conference room that the seminar was held in was nice but on the cold side. Negatives:
Our room was not maintained well. There were holes in the carpet, a broken lamp, the bathroom ventilation didn't work, and the TV in the living room didn't work. Also, our room was right over one of the banquet halls and we heard loud bass until 10pm. Next, there were tons of children, and they were very loud. This is probably a hotel more suited for families than a couple looking for a quiet place. Finally, the bar was terrible. They didn't even have a drink menu. We asked the guy what kind of drinks they have and he said, "You tell me!" I guess the problem is that we like getting different drinks from places, and we had to come up with our own.

Positives:
Customer service is outstanding. The breakfast is expansive. They have everything you can ask for. And the overall cleanliness was good.

My favorite hotel. They have ample parking, good customer service, a very very nice and big atmosphere that you rarely get at hotels. You get free all you can eat breakfast every morning(which is damn good I might add). They offer towels, the beds are very comfortable and easy to sleep in. They have a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi. & they also have a bartender service. Out of all the stays I've had at Embassy suites, every stay has been phenomenal. Only reason I gave 4 stars for this stay was because part my bedsheets were damp upon arrival. Otherwise, great hotel.

At first glance has 4 star/diamond appearance. Atrium area is beautiful and indoor pool is nice. Staff was friendly. The devil is in the details though. In my room the carpet was worn. Room didn't have a great smell. It was obvious they went cheap on the renovation. Many of the building materials didn't match and the small pink tile shower is dated. The shower head is too low and I kept hitting my head on it. The shower water pressure is poor. The noise from the atrium is annoying if trying to get to bed early. One of the smoke detectors in my room has some sort of plastic bag over it, which appears unsafe. The gym had issues too. 1 of 2 elliptical a was broken. 1 of 3 treadmills was completely broken. 1 of the operational treadmills had issues (broken entertainment display). The clock in the gym is disgustingly dirty. Overall it seems like a nice property that has been mismanaged, not maintained properly, and needs money invested into it. UPDATE: Staff was notified of issues and has said they are committed to fixing things. They also tried to compensate me for the issues I had. Hopefully they can remedy these issues and quickly get the property to where it should be.

I can always count on theses places to get my day started right and this location does not stray from that. Great breakfast, clean spacious rooms, and a staff that was happy to help. I always enjoy staying here!

One downside: the wifi is very slow even if you buy the high speed. Might as well stick with the free version.
