Embassy has truly done phenomenal job, adjusting to today's "new normal". Elevator has capacity of 2, fitness center has a capacity of 4 ( great equipment options) breakfast still served but as cafeteria style and evening reception is still offered. Great location near Mall of America and Ikea and about a 10 min drive from the outlet.

Very pleased with the room and staff, they did a wonderful job making us comfortable and welcomed. We appreciate the extra efforts they took to provide a safe environment for everyone. The breakfast was awesome.

Our room was not clean. There were small pieces of trash on the floor along with a few other little things. The dresser drawer was broken. The hotel was full of a wedding party which I feel like we should be warned about when booking a room. There was no room to park because of this. Very disappointing when paying a pretty penny for a room and not even able to park in the lot because of a wedding party my family wasn't involved in. Kids were running wild, literally. All over the hotel. Kids were also throwing food down over the balcony into the middle of the hotel. Not cool.

Recently renovated and the room was very nice. I wish the balcony door opened a little further though. It only opened about 6 inches. Just enough for a breeze. The room was very HOT even after we turned the heater off. Breakfast was pretty good. Omelets were decent.

This was one of the better Embassy Suites I have stayed it, the staff was curious and helpful. The breakfast was an amazing buffet and had a lot of options! The location is within three minutes from the airport and five from the Mall of America. This is a great location if you have a delayed or canceled flight or are staying before your flight leaves. The only reason I am giving it four stars is the price was a little higher than typical Embassy Suites. Overall, very nice hotel!

Lobby area is brightly lit and clean. Elevators are very slow, which is somewhat annoying. Dining area is comfortable, tables aren't too close to each other. They offer a complementary social hour to guests. Rooms are clean and comfortable, though they could be better lit, my preference is for led daylight bulbs/lamps as it is easier on the eyes for reading, knitting, etc than softer lighting of typical lightbulbs.

I met my mother there for dinner. I ordered some kind of fancy fish fry with a tangy something on it. It wasn't too bad. It came with mashed potatoes that were clearly under a heat lamp. Luckily when you get there it is unclear where they are actually serving food so half of the people ordered pizza and avoided the expensive lamp meals.

The place looked nice and if I would definitely consider going there if I was going to break up with someone or negotiate a fair price for some 2015 Honda Accord snow tires

We loved our stay, check in was easy, the room was really nice and clean. The morning breakfast was amazing! Parking lot was under construction but they offered free valet if needed.

Great location. Hotel is in need of some renovations to make it more modern. New carpet, new curtains, rebuilding of bathroom space to make it larger would be great updates. The front desk staff also needs to make sure that receipts go to the appropriate people. I was an add-on to someone's room. Since I got to the hotel first, I had to how a credit card. The person who had reserved the room showed their credit card when they arrived for it to be changed. The receipt was still sent to me with my card changed. Staff needs to focus on what needs to be done and listen to customer's instructions instead of doing what they think was supposed to happen.

Valet parking was great. Room was too hot to sleep comfortably. Shower had good pressure, but had some mold spots on the grout and tub floor was not white (it may have been clean, it's old, but it didn't look like it). Part of the bathroom door frame was rusted out. They don't have enough outlets for this day and time. They are renovating in the common area and parking lot... so hopefully that means the guest rooms are next on their list.

Visited due to a meeting I needed to attend. They were under a lot of construction at the time. One of the attendees said he had no A.C. or hot water last night. I personally had no complaints. The room was clean and lunch was good.👍

The staff was great. They gave excellent advice and direction. Your breakfast was way more than I expected and very good. The rooms are comfortable. the hotel itself was in there renovation and yet they still made it comfortable, convenient, and relatively quiet. I do love the glass elevators where you can see the atrium below/behind you.

The hotel is ideally located. The room was a little outdated but they are going through a remodel so my guess is that room updates are likely coming. There is a nice fitness center and the complimentary breakfast is far superior to most hotel breakfast offerings. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend the hotel to others.

Great hotel for business or pleasure. My first room, the toilet would not flush, but the front desk promptly changed me to a new room. The second room, the lights over the desk flickered, but there were plenty of other lights to use. There is breakfast every morning and happy hour and snacks in the evening. The bar/reataurant are also nice.

Super friendly staff. Room was not as big as expected, but we made do. Pool was closed and we were not made aware of that when we booked, but we were able to use the pool at the Hilton across the street. The complimentary breakfast was amazing and the complimentary happy hour was much appreciated after a day at Nickelodeon Universe with the kids! Will definitely return once the pool is open.

I understand the renovation construction that was ongoing. But the hotel was like a sauna. Room was unbearably hot with no working air or fan. Left the sliding balcony door open, the crack it would allow, all night. Bright spot was the French onion soup at the restaurant, the breakfast and the catered lunches at our workshop. Rest of pricy dinner was bland. Hoping it improves after renovation.

Cancelled a multi night stay on March 9 after walking in to find that the lobby/atrium and pool areas were under construction. Stayed there before and liked the hotel, but we feel that it is bad business to not tell customers that construction has eliminated the use of ammenties. The whole purpose of the trip was for the kids to have fun in the pool. Will probably stay there again in the future, but if you are looking to stay there in 2018, call first to see if the construction is done.

We stayed one night here while in the twin cities. Once we arrived at the hotel we were bummed to find out it was under construction. The courtyard was completely covered and the pool was under construction. Our room was set at 72 when we arrived which felt really hot. We turned it down to 65 but it didn't seem to cool fast enough. Would have liked to know about construction ahead of time for what we paid.

Not worth the stay and I suggested staying here. They were under remodeling, the pool can not be used. The room was freezing even with the heat on. No fan in the bathroom if you need it. Thank you for breakfast but it has no flavor. Have you all tasted your own food? Children are eating this; Are we just boddies for you to fill your prices still? I wish we could get some money back because it was not worth what was paid...

The room was fine, and I'm sure the lobby will look nice after construction is finished. I would not stay here again, however, until the bathrooms are updated. The shower head they chose is so low-flow that I had to turn it off and just run a bath.

Really good service but this place needs an overhaul as it has not been kept up over the years. They're going through a courtyard remodel as of winter 2017 but they'll need to work on the rooms as well. 3 stars for friendly service and an absolutely superb breakfast.

I stayed here during a weekend getaway while in the twin cities. All of the public spaces are absolutely stunning. The rooms were a bit underwhelming by comparison, but they were worth the money spent and when contacted about some of the issues we had with our room, they offered us a complimentary night as compensation for the issues. The airport shuttle is very convenient and the free breakfast is varied and was quite delicious. Worth a stay if you're near the airport!

Hotel was under construction so during the day the hotel is so loud it is unusable. The food and bar are good with the breakfast being the best. Elevators did not work properly and when I told the front desk they were unwilling to help. The front desk help was by far the most unhelpful I have seen at a hotel. The room was spacious but very rundown. Heater and A.c. system did not work.

Typical solid embassy suites. Location by airport, light rail and MOM is nice but otherwise is remote. There is nothing within walking distance. Happy hour deal not worth it. Very late 80’s decor.

I was celebrating my bachelorette party and had decided on this location to be the starting off point and the place to rest my head at the end of the night. The short walk to the light rail saved me money on can fare. There were complementary drinks being given out when I arrived in the beautiful atrium. Which is also where they served the next morning's complimentary breakfast. The room was cozy and clean, and equipped with more things then we actually needed. Overall I had a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend it to others.

Nice place but the atrium can get very loud. My suite faced the airport and I didn't notice any air traffic noise. Good size suite with two TVs and a big counter top with sink.
Great proximity to transit and airport. Airport shuttle service was a little spread out for EARLY morning flights but so I ended up riding my boosted board to Terminal 2 where the trains run back and forth 24 hours.
Mall of America is only a couple stops away on the train...about 15 mins.

The location is good very convenient off the interstate and very close to the Mall of America. The rooms were clean and large but could really use some touch up paint or just a whole new look. Not that anyone should have high expectations of a pull out couch but this one was extremely uncomfortable. The staff was great, I received a text to check in on things which is a nice touch. The biggest problem was finding a spot to eat in morning for breakfast. There were people hovering for someone to leave to get a spot and then eating a dirty tables. It would be an easy fix of either taking out some of the foliage to make room for a few more tables but also using the restaurant's tables that are just sitting there unused during breakfast. Otherwise, good stay, quiet, clean rooms. The hotel is a bit outdated but very pretty atrium area.

Overall, a very beautiful hotel. I love the plants and water features in the center of the building. It's unique and has an outdoors feel. Love the glass elevators, love the balconies in the rooms. Although you can't actually go out on the balconies because they have a stopper on the door. I give 4 stars because of breakfast. They do cook to order omelets and also have a few things on the buffet tables, but all of it was bland and not tasty. The omelet was good, but I wish they would've had some sausage gravy or maybe even a better variety of fruit, all they had was oranges and grape fruit. All in all, ill be conning back.

Rooms are spacious, mattresses and pillows very comfortable, bath towels thick and plush. Even with the expansive atrium, rooms are quiet. Electrical plug for one of the desk lamps was too loose to hold snugly into the wall outlet and blinked anytime it was jostled. Made to order hot breakfast, cereal, fruit, juice, coffee and buffet are complimentary and quite good. Good proximity to MAP airport without air traffic noise.

Got a nice suite with 2 double beds and a living room for 5 people. The hotel is pretty old but well maintained. Everything looks clean and properly taken care off even though dated. One thing I wish they did do is update the technology, outlets, etc. to match current technology needs.

The last time I was at this Hilton was when I was a child. It's super nostalgic to be here again! The best amenities that I enjoyed on this visit were the free all you can eat breakfast with made to order omlettes, adult pool time starting at 10pm, and gym. The laundry facilities helped me out in a pinch. Also, the staff were very courteous and helpful when we needed items that we had forgotten for the trip. I had a great vacation and am well rested for the upcoming work week. It's a beautiful hotel and I would definitely stay here again!

Very loud nights. Overpriced for what you get. Up on the fourth floor, all I could hear for three nights was people on the main floor talking and yelling. Stay at the Hampton next time you need a hotel by the mall of America or the airport. A little cheaper, quieter, and better beds than embassy suites. Only thing better at embassy is the breakfast which was really good, but otherwise not worth the room rate. Hell, even super 8 is very bang for your buck.

The room was very neat and clean. The courtyard area was beautiful. The breakfast and free happy hour was a great perk and much enjoyed. Only complaint is that it was about 60 degrees in the room and I had it set at 70.

7

Really neat hotel with palm trees and beautifully designed. One reason I'm not giving it more stars is I chose the hotel because it claimed to be an airport hotel with 24 hr shuttle service. This is NOT true. They stop running the shuttle at 10. I called to get picked up and was told to get a taxi and they would reimburse me minus the tip. While that was a nice gesture, that is not what they had advertised on their website. Also the swimming pool was really small for this size hotel.

That being said, if my flight came in at the right time, I would consider staying here again. The breakfast was wonderful and the chef making the omlets was super nice. Made me truly appreciate the great service and his cheerfulness was contagious.

The room with double beds was nice, my bed was comfortable but DO NOT count on sleeping well if you need the sofa bed. It was absolutely the WORST bed I have ever seen for a sofa bed. You could feel every spring and the bar in the middle. My brother in law did not sleep much and would have probably given this hotel a 1 star rating due to his sofa bed! Otherwise I had a good visit.

Good deal for the price. While it is far from a luxurious experience, it is very comfortable. The layout is beautiful, but be aware, if you have little ones, keep them close. The balconies are very open and could be a disaster waiting to happen. The pool is smaller and there are many families so be prepared for crowding after dinner hours. All in all though, they offer a hot made-to-order breakfast and evening reception with snacks and beverages, adult and kiddie ;-) all included with your stay. The bathrooms could be more spacious but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Wow, the rooms are really big. Two full rooms. The atrium garden is really nice and we arrived during the evening reception of snacks and drinks. The hotel is a bit dated, but well maintained. They have a shuttle to and from the airport that runs on the 1/2 hour which made getting in and out easy.

Had Easter brunch at Wooley's. The food and selection was outstanding and the service was quite good. My only complaint was the price. Even given the quality of the meal, $45 a person is steep - especially considering that it was a good $8 to $12 more than equivalent places.

If you just have to be there for a conference it's great...for a staycation I would not recommended it. I attended conferences there August 2016 and the food is always so yummy and the staff is so nice. The one time I stayed overnight for the conference my room had peeling wallpaper, curtains caked in dust and rips, and a MOLDY SHOWER CURTAIN! I would have never expected the room to be like that because the conference meetings are top notch and great help from them. I did let the staff know about the issue upon check out and they sent a complimentary one night stay letter. The chlorine in the pool was so overwhelming that I could only be in there for about 5 mins before my eyes hurt. The free breakfast is great but you wait in line forever and hard to navigate around the line of people. I did come back and use my free night voucher but only because it was a free night!

Had another great stay at this hotel, as always breakfast was great. I do wish they had more rooms with 2 queen mattresses instead of the king and a pullout as the pullout has got to be the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on. My other issue with this stay isn't really something they can control, it was extremely busy so it was about a half hour wait when we arrived at 3 to check in only one of our 2 rooms was ready, or so we were told. Our rooms were right next to each other and so we 8 sat in the one room awaiting the text message, I expected to see the room being clean or any sort of the like but for the next hour and fifteen minutes nothing happened in the room and then I received the text to pick up the keys so I had to wait another half hour to forty-five minutes in the line of people waiting to check in. It wouldn't have been a big deal had something actually been happening in the other room but instead I ended up standing in lines for roughly over an hour. Maybe this location should look into the digital keys they have for the downtown location.

The atrium is the classic embassy suites with all sorts of live floura. I was meeting a co-worker here so I wasn't in a room. My co-worker was and he was not impressed. Old lumpy matress and a heating system that did not allow for cooling. You might not think that would be a problem in the winter but it was. This is a common problem in older Hilton properties and I have actually encountered the same issue in the Hilton hotel right next door to this embassy suites. There are better hotels in downtown so if you don't mind being further from the airport that's where i would recommend you stay

We are loyal Embassy Suites customers. We have stayed at this hotel many times, in fact and have loved it. Our past experience was not stellar. My main concern were super noisy neighbors having a family reunion well into the wee hours of the night. My children sleep on the sleeper sofa in the front, so they got very little rest. Another night a different family was also having a party in the hallway. Of course, there is a huge atrium and a wonderful bar area that these people could use. We called the front desk several times, talked to the people kindly several times, nothing helped. I wish that the quiet hours were honored for families with small children. Having exhausted kids makes for a not fun vacation. Also, the lock on our door was falling off, we were only given one roll of toilet paper for the day (not enough for a family of four), and there was simply not enough seating and help for breakfast.

It is a Hilton so the level of service and cleanliness is what you would (and should) expect. The restaurant was also very good... Exceptionally good for a hotel restaurant. However, the lobby is stuck in 1992...To the point that they have a game rooms with Pac-Man type arcades (really). The bathrooms are also very small. All and all, this hotel could use a boost into the year 2016...

The waiter Chris took great care of me, even though I arrived 30 minutes before the restaurant closed. He had great recommendations, and the food was really tasty, and prepared fresh. I normally don't eat at hotel restaurants, but there were great reviews on Yelp, so I gave it a try. I was very pleased, and would dine there again.

Roomy, quiet and clean. Great night sleep. Breakfast was great. The guy who made the omelets in the morning was awesome. Super friendly and did a great job. All around excellent service.

I stayed here after my delayed flight made me miss my connecting flight. I was only there for about 8 hours but everybody I came into contact with were very nice (one of the shuttle drivers seemed to have a little road rage, but was helpful in informing us about all of the amenities the hotel provided and how the shuttle would work in the morning). The room was clean and the hotel Commons area seemed very nice even though I did not spend time there. I would stay here again for a longer, planned trip.

I really enjoy staying here. It's 5 minutes from the airport but not noisy at all. The shuttle will get you up the block to the Mall of America in no time. The best reason I have for staying here is the restaurant and bar. The food is great, with the right mix of comfort foods and dining. They have a big selection of beers, and despite this being a large property or somehow feels cozy.

The Suites have very comfortable rooms, suitable for an extended stay. I love the separate sleeping and working areas. It is very well located near the airport and Mall of America. And the stay includes a great breakfast buffet.

Front desk staff we're super nice and helpful. The little store they have may be small but have mostly delicious evening snacks to go. Waters and drinks are a little pricey, but otherwise are very good to drink. Indoor pool is very cold and the room of the pool is humid and reakes a little of strong chlorine. People who are staying in a one king bed are gonna have the best stay in there room for days! Bed is super comforting and you can relax after hard day and watch some tv. Housekeeping is rude. And that's all there is to my review! Hope you enjoy your grand stay

We have always had good times at the embassy suites every year we go there, never have had a bad experience with any of them like.

I travel to Minnesota about 3-5 times a year and love staying at the Embassy Suites. Their free shuttle and proximity to the airport (and the Mall of America) make it a great choice. Free evening snacks/drinks and a wonderful free breakfast are icing on the cake.

This hotel had positives and negatives. It has great staff and service. It has salt in the pool instead of chlorine ++. It has a large well decorated courtyard with fountains and a steakhouse. Here they also serve a nice big breakfast. My family stayed in the premier suite on the top floor. The cost included drinks and snacks from snack carts located on the top floor. Our cards didn't work on the drink machine and the snack machine was kept empty. We asked at the front desk and they gave us a list of the items they offer and to just call them and they would bring it up. So we did that. The building looks ok but could use a facelift if you know what I mean. It's a lot outdated on the decor.
