Nice clean rooms with great service. No restaurant, gym, or pool due to Covid-19 but still a lovely stay. Love having the balcony.

Great customer service! Ms. DIANE was THE BEST... above and beyond helpful! She was kind, thoughtful, and efficient The staff were ALL helpful! I am a big fan of Embassy Suites! The rooms were ok ... and well stocked! Customer service ruled! Thank you all for great stay!

Beware: parking is valet ONLY and costs $47 a night. Much cheaper parking is nearby! Rooms are spacious. Evening reception has free happy hour and light snacks. Breakfast is good. If parking wasn't so outrageous and the hotel were a little cleaner, I'd rate the hotel a 4.

Such mixed feelings about my experience here. The front desk and bell on were immensely welcoming. The room was typically Embassy which is far better than average. The front room was a bit aged, but the bedroom was fully updated.
The small balcony was not accessible due to a stuck lock.
The Big problem was the $47 per day parking fee for our small SUV returned to me with right front end damage because it was parked next to the ramp with a tight turn.
Let the Embassy 1 800 Line know when I discovered the damage within an hour of checkout when I got gas. No follow up since our conversation. This parking is set up so ONLY their drivers are allowed to drive in the lot.
I will call again for an attempt gain satisfaction.

Checked in fine. I thought all was going to be awesome... attention to detail is the Bottom line! I am a honors member and appreciated the gift bag at check in. So first thing is first.... I have a down allergy. That means with down feather pillows that I come in contact with it could lead to a hospital trip. It was listed on my reservation.... Didn't happen.
I took the pillows down to the front desk and dropped off. Then after a night we noticed the toilet with a steady leak at the base of it. I then was super heated and called the front desk and they changed our rooms. I thought an apology would happen at some point...not so much. I will clearly chalk this up as a fail for embassy suites convention center as this is second time checking into an embassy suites and they missed the request in less than a year. Hello Marriott rewards!
The two star really was given because the highlight was the experience with the bar staff during the reception they have nightly...(Sean the bartender was awesome)
Unfortunate experience

My husband and I were very satisfied with our stay! Our room was very clean and comfortable with a great view! We enjoyed breakfast each day and happy hour, when we could go. We were happy with all the selections! The hotel was very clean and nice and in a great location! We visited with my elderly mom in April. This was a challenge in and of itself! I can't say enough about the staff from management, front desk, porter, housekeeping and kitchen staff and support. Yes I've practically named all positions even the concierge because they all heard from me during our stay. I was in tears twice trying to accomodate my mom and make her happy! We all must enjoy our parents while we have them! The staff offered stellar customer service that kept me encouraged and supported while ensuring we enjoyed our stay at their hotel and city! We will definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay. Nice balcony view outside of room. Very clean and comfortable. Reception was also very nice. Two small comments for breakfast, the green pepper should be cut much smaller for the omelette as it was still raw and the salsa was spicy but tasted a lot like marinara sauce.

It has been awhile since I stayed at an Embassy Suites. This one the hospitality was great, the concierge were great at pumping up the city and the breakfasts were good. The only thing I was disappointed in was the afternoon receptions. Drinks are free and the snacks. But the snacks were the same every other day and they were terrible. The snacks consisted of celery, spicey ranch dip, humus, crackers and a bread & pretzel mix. The could have done better. They rooms were smaller but I am sure it has to do with this location but the beds were comfortable and services.

We stayed here for a few days to attend a downtown convention. The room was clean, but a little bit on the older side. The ice machine did not work on the floor and was not fixed while we were there. The cleaning staff is very friendly you receive fresh supplies everyday. Will probably stay here again due to the location and size of the rooms.

Very nice room. Great breakfast. Short walk to transportation or the quarter. My only complaint was some of the housekeeping service was shabby. One day after the room had been straightened and cleaned there wasn't any towels put back in the room, then twice when we used the pool it was out of towels. I do have to say that the front desk staff was amazing! Great help, very kind service and always had a smile.

Stayed there in December. Arrived and our suite was not ready. Were able to get into our suite around 6PM. They ran out of breakfast stuff most mornings. Rooms were not up to par. They could be a whole lot better. Pretty disappointing since I have been staying at Embassy Suites for almost 10 years. This was not one I will be returning to. The front desk staff, however, were great. Helpful and friendly.

We would like to take time out to give the highest review to Embassy Suites by Hilton New Orleans Convention Center. We had a two night stay in the Premiere Suite from Mar 22-24-2018. The scenic view was awesome. The room was very clean, furnished with plenty of snacks/beverages. The Hilton Staff was awesome from when we first reserved. Special thanks to Staff member Lowanda for communications before and during our stay. Special thanks to the magnificent breakfast made to order, food was nicely prepared, special thanks to member staff who made the omelets ( anyone who can cook six omelets and one time with a smile should be highly honored !!!! ). We greatly appreciate the entire Embassy Suites Staff from parking attendant, room service, concierge , front desk, bell man, breakfast crew.
We Thank You !!!!! ( Happy couple from Memphis )

We loved staying here. It is in a quieter area of NOLA, which we really enjoyed being away from the quarter. Short walk to the trolley and the mall which makes it easy to get where ever you would like to go. We walked most places right from the hotel but there were always taxis available right out front if you needed them. There are some excellent restaurants close by, we would recommend Mulate's which is on the next block! Due to a late flight leaving the hotel was able to hold our luggage while we went out and explored the city one last time before heading home.

Great staff that was helpful and friendly all the time, but especially during the first day when it was clear we had no clue what was going on. Room was clean and well kept, room service was great too. Didn't get to check out the other commodities such as the pool, convenience store, etc. so can't comment on those. Just the morning buffet which was great.

My hubby and I really enjoyed our stay here. Service was awesome, from check in to check out. The older woman preparing omelettes in the morning, was as sweet as pie and made delicious omelettes! Diane, the concierge, gave great suggestions on places to dine and shop. A great stay over for those getting off or on a cruise. With Harrah's casino, a great outlet mall, and superb dining options all within walking distance of the hotel, you will definitely enjoy your time here! We will return!

We were only there to eat at Stack's. It was a perfect fit into our New Orleans trip. The food was excellent and the service was prompt. The hotel lobby at least looked stunning. They also run deals if you can wait and book the day you are travelling.

Love everything about This hotel. Each room has a private balcony. Plus there are also wrap around balconies that make for a great panoramic view. They offer free breakfast and it's not something small buffet. You get a huge made to order omelette made right in front of you. Plus 2Free hours of happy hour. You can't beat that. 2blocks from over walk. And my room is so spacious. Friendly helpful staff.

Room is neat, not the cleanest for my standards, rusting of pipes and fixtures. Housekeeping supplied towels. Did not change linen that was dirty. Pillowcases were not changed for 3 night stay. I had to ask for pillowcases. They were delivered timely. The best amenity is breakfast included each morning. Happy Hour nightly with free cocktails. Staff courteous but not friendly.

Was there in NOLA for a conference, got transferred to a different hotel for our first night because they were overbooked. That hotel cost more than the one we had booked and we were not told until we were already there. Very inconvenient. That being said, the staff at embassy suites were very nice, and we were given a gift card and a bottle of wine to make up for the mistake. The room was very nice, beds were comfortable. The breakfast was meh.

Arts district in New Orleans. Good location. Walked in, no shampoo, no bath soap, and the phones didn't work for calling the lobby. All were remedied promptly. Very friendly staff. The breakfast each morning is the same as any other Embassy Suites with the addition of grits, so, pretty bland. At a discounted rate of $95/night for Hilton Honors members and the complimentary nightly open bar from 5-7:30 it is a good value.

I give it 5-stars because it was close to the convention center and children's museum, the hot breakfast was great. We were able to check-in early and get a late checkout. The room we stayed in was huge and had a dinning table. The bellman called us a cab. Overall the stay was great.

I liked that this place was not right in the middle of all of the partying. It was close to the trolley that takes you to the French Quarter. It was also close to a large shopping complex. It was reasonably priced especially considering that it came with a full breakfast complete with omletes. The line for breakfast is very long on the weekends. Also parking is pricey.

It was only $77 a night (not including valet parking) and it was a great stay. Large and beautiful room with 2 TV's and a nice bathroom. The free breakfast buffet was also delicious. There were omelets, fruit, a lot of drinks, danishes, muffins, bagels, toast, yogurt, toppings, oatmeal, grits, meat, potatoes, and more. It was really good. Plus, they have a grilled cheese and bar restaurant. It tasted delicious. I got the grilled cheese with bacon, brie, apples, and a great sauce that made the grilled cheese sweet. The concierge was really helpful when we asked about tours we could go on. I highly recommend this place because of the people working there, the great food (the free breakfast buffet and the restaurant) and the cleanliness of the rooms, along with what we got for such a cheap price. Thanks!😀

The location is great. Settled between the French Quarter and the Garden District. Rooms are only okay. Noticed a lot of ants around one of our windows. Looks like it was remodeled several years ago, but not thoroughly. The bartender was kind of a prick. The free drinks from 5:30-7:30 was a nice touch. Overall, just okay. Could be cleaner and smell nicer.

First of all I have to say the cook to order omelets (I wish I could remember the lady’s name, and I hope this hotel is paying her well) that alone is what makes this hotel so great. Everyone from check in to check out was over the top curious to my wife and I. The location is great. Away from all the noise, but close enough walk that you feel in the middle of it all. If you’re not into walking cab rides are not expensive at all. I would recommend this hotel to every that plans on coming to this town. Lastly….TIP the staff!!!! Drinks and Breakfast are on the house, don’t be cheap. Thank you to everyone at this hotel for making my first of many trips to New Orleans a memorable one. Will stay here again and again!

I loved this place! Amazing experience for a husband and wife to just drive and get away. Beautiful on the inside gives you that old time New Orleans feel people come to see. Beautiful mural makes it feel like you are outside at a romantic spot. On the picture I posted, there are some hotel rooms that make it feel you are part of the art and in an apartment there. Breakfast is amazing, Chefs there making you fresh omelets and eggs in the morning. Comfortable and clean beds.

Great rooms and great staff. As is normal for modern hotels built in old buildings the lay out of the corridors is a little confusing. Follow the signs literally and you'll be fine was my experience. Suite with 2 queens is well appointed with the exception of the balcony. Balcony needs some chairs. Family loved the space and breakfast was delicious. Will visit again.

My room was very comfortable and large. Temperature was great, it wasn't at all noisy and it was great to have a balcony! The staff was friendly, helpful and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The breakfast was excellent. I also had a grilled cheese sandwich at Stacks that was unexpectedly delicious. It's a hotel, right? I really wasn't expecting good food! The location was good, too. I'll be back!

We stayed on the 14th floor. The view from the enclosed balcony at the front door of the Mississippi River and the Riverwalk. The view from the back balcony by the bedroom was of the city and of the i10 bridge over the Mississippi. The room was very nice. It was great to have the suite with separate bedroom. There was some noise from the street and one of the other rooms. It was extremely minimal and if I had brought the small fan I normally bring I would have never noticed it. I am a very light sleeper and that is reason I noticed. We will be happy to stay here next visit.

You just can't beat Embassy Suites for value in this town. My wife and I recently stayed there for a few days. Just having a suite for the same price as a hotel room is already a good value, but then you throw in the fresh cooked breakfast and the free drinks and the evening and you have an unbeatable combination. This Embassy Suites also has a lot of things going for it besides. It is an easy walk to the Riverside Walk and just a bit more of a walk to either the business district or the French Quarter. The lobby area of the hotel is very attractive and has a great local theme. Personnel throughout the hotel are friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and understand the meaning of service. Oh yes, the rooms are clean and well cared for. Drawbacks: no views from most rooms and except for breakfast very limited food choices -- but hey you're in New Orleans, no need to eat in the hotel.

Great location. I was in one of the suites in The Lofts building which is a renovated old building. I loved the exposed brick on the exterior walls, and the overall space and design. The lobby looks great, done in an older retro/rustic style. Breakfast was just what I expect when staying at an Embassy Suites - the made-to-order omelets are the best!

Overall I had a decent stay at the Embassy Suites. We split our room among six and it suited our needs for a night in NOLA. Check-in wasn't until 4 but we didn't get our room until well after 5 and even then it wasn't very clean (hair in the shower). The rooms didn't have a view or anything special for them. Just a place to crash and shower, which was fine. On to the good: there was a free happy hour from 5:30-7:30, and free breakfast in the morning with lots of options, which definitely made our stay worth it. The staff was nice and took a bit off our bill since we had to wait so long for a room, and made our $40/night parking complementary also. It wasn't too far a walk from the sightseeing of New Orleans and the price was right, but I wouldn't look forward to staying there again.

my biggest gripe is the lack of self-parking. $40 a day is a little pricier than I'd prefer, but there is street parking which is a little cheaper. you just have the hassle of paying every two hours, but this can be done using an app.

aside from that, I have no issues. the staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are adequate, the breakfast was handled well considering the number of guests in town for nye and the football game.

Very relaxing! The staff food, drinks & vibes were GREAT! But I'll do my own parking next time (a bit pricey for valet). ;)

Very beautiful Hotel. The staff are a great reflection of the meaning of southern hospitality. They really make you feel at home and cater to your every need. Perfection for business and/or family travel. The only hotel in New Orleans with free Happy Hours cocktails and snacks everyday. The hotel is in a perfect location to uptown, downtown , cbd and french quarters. A must visit and stay place.

Our room was great, super comfortable, excellent view. Room service and valet service were prompt. The location is excellent. Can walk to anything or catch a street car easily. Will definitely stay here the next time we come back to New Orleans!

I travel a lot, and been to many hotels. My prefered choice is the Hilton brand. Embassy suites is a nice cozy, rustic place right in the heart of the downtown New Orleans. Nice rooms with much space. The staff is good and willing to accommodate your needs. I brought my wife there for her birthday and she loved it. We enjoyed the convenience of the location, putting the New Orleans night life right at your feet.

Air conditioner was rattling and really loud. Toilet would get stuck on. Shower stall is in bad disrepair (water damage, rust). But room was very clean and comfortable, and the guest breakfast was good. I'm guessing we just had poor luck with our individual room as it's a good place. Our friends' room didn't have these issues.

Update: yeah this room is much better. Everything is quiet and looks great.

Grilled cheese sandwich place is good.

Pool is tiny but what do you want. It's still a pool.

Friendly staff that was very helpful.the free breakfast was good with a nice selection cereal, fresh fruit , bacon, link sausage, grits, oatmeal with all the fixings, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and made to order omelettes assortment of breads bagels and sweets. They were quick to replinish anything that needed it. Afternoon happy hour had good free drinks and nachos and house made sweet potato chips. The room was nice bed was nice but not as plush as the main Hilton line. Sofa bed left much to be desired. They can send up extra bedding to pad it up. We just slept on it as a sofa and were very comfy. The balconies are privateish ( divided by a low rail and shared between two rooms) but offered nice views. The pool is small and only 4 ft deep if there's several kids jumping in the pool there's no real room to get away from the splash all in all it was still a nice way to beat the heat. Parking is a bit steep around $40 after taxes a day but not unusual for this area. WiFi was not that great but the hotel was mostly booked that weekend. The diversion of bedroom and living space was nice esp with two tv's so the kids could watch what they wanted.

The rooms are nice and clean. Our shower has some mold in it but nothing really crazy. Everyone seems to be friendly. Great location and happy hour is nice.

I was disappointed with this hotel. We arrived to check in to our hotel, and whenever we went to the 5th floor to go into our room, someone else was already in the room. They gave us a key to a room that someone had already been checked into. So, we had to go back down to the first floor, get another key to check in with and we went to the 7th floor. They did give us a bigger room, but we were trying to make a wedding, and going up and down the hotel just made us very pressed for time. They also charged my card, as well as my husband's card. So, in total, they took over $300 out for one night stay. So now, i get to wait 72 hours for my money to come back into my account. The bed was comfy, and the breakfast was semi-good.

Overall great experience. Very nice suite that fit our needs and price range to a "T". Did end up next to a large "named" suite so we did have noisy neighbors, but nothing I can hold against the hotel, by any means. Look forward to staying there again.

Embassy Suites was a great hotel! Was most impressed with the breakfast and the happy hour from 5-7pm. Great location and only about 20 min walk to Bourbon. Very clean rooms! Shower was a little small but overall very nice. Parking was expensive like always, so expect that. Still had a great experience.

The service at this hotel is great!!! Seth went over and above the call of duty. If the a/c didn't keep going out I would have given them 5 stars. I will say the engineers came out within a matter of minutes of me calling.

I'm here at this hotel right now as I type this. Hotel is very close to the Convention Center. Room is on the 6th floor. Very clean, plenty of space. The hallway from the elevator to my corridor REEKS of mildew and the Wifi access is spotty at best. It works great in the bar/restaurant area, but not in the room. It's all just meh..

The staff was amazingly helpful & friendly. They were also very professional. We were greeted and checked in by Seth & he made us feel so welcomed & even joked around with my husband and I. So, first impressions are also lasting impressions. Another guy, i think his name was Greg was super helpful!!! The entire staff was just so awesome. The Happy Hour was definitely a plus. The location was perfect for my husband and I, everything was within descent walking distance. The full breakfast was great as well. We will be staying here again in the future & will highly recommend to anyone! I've made multiple trips to New Orleans & this was definitely one of my best visits & this hotel totally contributed!!!
