ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

This is my second stay at this hotel and I am very disapointed. First I had to wait 40 minutes at the airport for a shuttle to pass and pick me up. When I called I was told it would only take 20 minutes. The look of the hotel is way outdated. No snacks available directly from the room. And finally, on my first stay, the toilet was leaking and now for this stay, the toilet sink is clogged. I find that the price of this hotel is high compared to other competitors which seems to do a better job. Only upside is the proximity to where I work, but the rest is pretty average...

Outstanding location. Lodging is vintage Embassy Suites. Great food. Free light breakfast and free snacks for dinner. Nice bar. Beautifully decorated atrium, entrance and open area. Rooms are great, nicely furnished. Parking is open and free. Area surrounded by beautiful lush forest. Swimming pools and exercise rooms especially nice and inviting. Great place to stay or just a quick get away.

Second to none! I have never had better service at a hotel. The staff was patient and kind through check-in, even asking how the stay was going in between, and check-out. The property is fully loaded with amenities. I was surprised when they told me they were going to renovate everything, as it was still pristine.

Beautiful hotel with plenty of room. Loved the openness of the whole inside. Made it truly breathtaking when you walked out your door. Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Located close to many shops, restaurants and things to do. Highly recommend.

Location location location is very important and the Embassy Suites in Cary meets this need for me. The area around the hotel is upscale and safe...ALWAYS important when booking a place.I’ve booked here around 10 times over the past few years and overall it’s consistent.

If your looking to be wowed, blown away, or pampered you’ve looked at the wrong spot. If you’re looking for a location that gives you what is needed for business travel and no frills, this is the place.
Food has been hit or miss over time but as late, very improved. The interior is 100% 1990’s decor and I do feel taken back in time a bit, but the furniture, bedding, and tech (wireless/tv) are up to date. The gym has enough equipment for a great workout which is always a must for me on business travel. I do recommend this hotel.

We're here for the Kevin O'Leary LIVE in Raleigh - Shark Retreat Events and the auditorium is awesome as well as the presentation. I guess the first two speakers I give them 5/5 since they provided more discussions and elaborations which interests everyone. And the third was Kevin, a grade score of 3/5 since he did not stay to elaborate more and left the stage immediately without seeing the people that wanted to see him in the first place. Going back to the Embassy, this place is neat and huge. It even has wonderful seating area inside and I have pictures to show for. And well, the staff were wonderful and worked hard for the success of this event. I would like to come back again.

Great and supportive staff - from receptionist to bar... rooms are bit “used”, but there os a plenty of space in it. Good kitchen and relaxing atrium inside. Little gym & spa area... hotel is surrounded with endless park with many paths for jogging...

Well kept hotel that was recently remodeled. Comfortable beds. Suites have a front living room with a separate bedroom. Weight room has multiple machines, although only one bench. Pool was cold for this time of year, but sauna was extremely nice. Has a whirlpool as well. Happy hour is exceptional with free drinks and friendly service. Also hidden gem of a basketball court in the back. Free made to order breakfast is top notch.

Excellent front desk staff - walked us to our rooms just to make sure there weren't any issues when room keys were accidentally duplicated. Your stay includes a made to order free breakfast. Clean rooms in a suite format with a refrigerator and stove in a small kitchenette area in every room.

Good hotel, you can tell it's older, but they've kept it up well. Good location..I found the choices during "happy hour" to be lacking, if you compared it to other Embassy Suites snack options at this same evening event. Would stay here again, though!

Ok, I've been staying in hotels for 30 years ( airline industry) and know hotels quite well. This hotel is nothing short of outstanding. Clean, well-appointed, any amenity you want, no overly expensive, and the staff are all very pleasant. I do not say this about many hotels.

I truly enjoy Embassy Suites. There hasn't been one that I've stayed at that wasn't to my liking. This one in Clary NC didn't disappoint either. My only critique was the somewhat worn sofa bed in my room, and the breakfast buffet set up. I enjoyed the whirlpool immensely. Keep up the good work.

This hotel was really nice. The lobby was amazing, and the rooms were very spacious and reasonably priced. They also had a free breakfast (with MTO omelettes and hot food, not just pastries and cereal), and a free happy hour. In case that's not clear, yes, free alcohol. My only complaints are that the fans in the bathroom worked sporadically and the sauna was out of service.

We've stayed here many times before as it makes a nice weekend getaway for us. The breakfast is phenomenal, especially if you liked made-to-order omelettes. The manager's reception every evening seems too generous. A couple of drinks, and crackers, cheese, pretzels, hummus and a few other tidbits hits the spot. The pool and Patio area are wonderful during those hot summer days. I don't know why but the drain in the sink in the bathroom was running so slow we had to ask someone to come up and fix it which they did. Then I took a shower and I was nearly knee-deep in water when I was done. I've never experienced these problems before so my guess is it's not typical. We will be back!

The exterior looks a little dated, so I was a bit concerned as we drove up. As soon as my kids saw the giant koi in the inside waterfall/pond though, I decided things would be okay. We needed a king bed, so we picked one of their hospitality suites. It was really nice having a large living area separate from the main sleeping area. The bathroom was modern and clean. Our bedsheets smelled amazing, not "bleachy" as hotel linens can sometimes smell. It seems like such a small detail, but it really did help me sleep well. The complementary breakfast buffet was very nice. They had omelettes to order, pastries, fresh fruits, and coffee, amongst a few other options.

Very friendly staff. The room is very nice size, there is a living/kitchen room area, and then the bathroom followed by the bedroom. Very comfy bed. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. Very good staff, reasonable prices on food in the hotel restaurant, and a lovely design make this Embassy Suites a very nice place to stay. The furniture in the rooms do look a tad dated but, that really isn't any problem. The only thing that does bother me is the snack offerings at the manager's reception. I absolutely love that they do the reception and the staff working during that time is great. But, each time I've been they have a ranch based dip and hummus but no vegetable sticks. I don't know if that's a standard across the chain unfortunately but I just find that so weird that there are dips but only crackers and pretzels to enjoy it with.

Attended a trade show at this hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel also booked another small trade show for the same weekend. The space could have accommodated one show adequately. It was hard to maneuver through the halls crowded with tables and people. Signage would have been helpful to minimize confusion. Also, better use of meeting space could have probably managed the congestion. Plenty of parking, clean ballrooms and attentive staff helped ease the tight situation.

Made to order breakfast, omelette, the cook should sautéed all the vegetables before adding the scrambled eggs. Not, cook the eggs first. There is a difference between an omelette and a crape. Other than that, great service all the way around. Need more English speaking employees to understand the customers needs.

My prom was held there - it was a very wide, very classy place; it wasn't stuffy or tacky. What I really liked about the room was the arrangement of it - food at the back, drinks on the side, dance floor at the front and tables in the middle. Very nice.

We've used this hotel twice for their ballroom space for different events. First for a gala/sit down dinner event and next for a training event. Both went smoothly, complimentary breakfast and happy hours with light snacks!
Hotel is set up atrium style so it could get loud if there is an event in the bar/restaurant space in the middle.

I had to stay here on a business trip, delayed by the hurricane.
The hotel was very nice, and the reception staff very kind.
The early morning shift was atrocious.
The shuttle driver was a complete rude jerk.
Moaned, Complained, was sweaty, stinky, played bad talk radio
and made us late and dropped us a the wrong area.
And the hotel staff did not give me the 4 am wake up call I requested
Thankfully, my own alarm got me up on time.
I wouldn't recommend this place if you have to depend on them for making flights

Huge building with a fabulous lobby of tropical trees and koi ponds. In the evening they have free cocktail hour and in the morning free made to order omelettes. That being said the hotel is outdated in the rooms. My heater-conditioner whined the whole night. Decor was that if the late 90s and perhaps the sheets hadn't been upgraded either. Would stay again because of the free options.

The Embassy is located in a pretty area and is easily accessible. There was plenty of parking and spacious. There for a family reunion. Lobby is fabulous, complete with a well stocked koi pond. Staff was professional and courteous. Room was a suite with two double beds in the bedroom and office/kitchen area separate. Accommodations were clean and neat. The only disappointment was the tub was damaged so that the water never fully drained from the basin, and the drain was slow such that water built up while taking a shower.

I was here for a business conference. The hotel staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Our room keys didn't work even after they were replaced 3 times. Service was good, but the hotel is showing signs of its age and is in need of refurbishment. A good example would be the alarm clocks with Apple 30-pin docks built in. Those were prolific 5+ years ago, but are almost nonexistent now. I'd guess that's how long its been since they made any attempt to update or refurbish those rooms.

This was my second stay there, as my husband and I like to get away for an evening. When we stayed there before we enjoyed the managers hour, and we also sat at the bar to have drinks and were able to eat a wonderful dinner. The last time we stayed there we spent $130 on the room, our bar tab was around $100 and dinner was about $100 with apps., dinner and dessert. So only staying one night we usually spend around $400 with tips. This past time we were there, we were unable to relax due to kids running around with out supervision. We were not able to even use the sauna due to kids running in and out. Also pounding on the door to get in the pool. When going back to out room, we seemed to hear a dog winning, and the room next door the slamming 4 or 5 times between 11 and three. This was not a pleasant stay this past time. More security needed to control children unsupervised! The hotel is great and clean, and our bartender, she was great, along with the food! My advise before booking this hotel is: Find out what is going on there before booking, if you are looking to relax!

I stayed here this weekend, while the inside atrium is nice I was let down with the room. I had a basic king suite and for the price I was disappointed. The bed was an old spring mattress that was broken down, the sofa bed was old as well. The blankets were dingy and stained. The spare felt blanket for the sofabed was so old it had wear holes. Neither remotes for the tvs worked and paint was peeling in the bathroom ceiling from mold. What was nice is the cooked to order breakfast and evening refreshments. They had a complimentary full bar and snacks. For the price I will definitely not be staying here again. The $10 rate for WiFi is ridiculous when I can get free WiFi at mcdonalds. Also reception when checking in was rude to my son because we are an inter-racial family. Very dissapoined with this place.
