ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:

- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

This great hotel to is a great place to stay in Sacramento if you can afford it. I've stayed there several times over the years. The rooms are a great size and modernized. The food is good. You can walk across the bridge to some good restaurant or just head a few blocks the other way to get downtown. My only issue is the price is more that what is provided. Sometimes, I'll keep checking back to see if prices drop before my trip to see if I can get a room within my budget.

I've stayed here a couple of times this year. The staff is super friendly and professional. Rooms are acceptable, but sometimes you find a phone not working, or something not completely clean. Once I was missing a hairdryer, but I called the front desk and they sent one up. Close to dining and shopping. Great breakfast buffet. One of the staff even went to the back to get me some soy milk for my cereal.

I really enjoyed my stayed here, as I usually do in Embassy Suites. I had a king suite and the room was clean, large enough for several people, and quiet. The only problem I had was a terrible internet connection, however the text service with the front desk was so awesome that they quickly told me (over text) that I could connect to the paid service and it would be removed from my bill. They also frequently checked in my stay, and I checked out via text as well. It was great!

Upon arrival it was found our room wasn't ready. Tyra went above and beyond to get us into a room, which ended up being on the top floor with a river view. Note, when staying downtown parking is limited. We valeted our vehicle for $32 a night at the hotel. After we settled into our room, we went down to the manager's reception with free drinks and snacks. Great for our entire family of five. We walked the old boardwalk and had dinner before returning and swimming in the indoor pool. Our view in our room was beautiful...overlooking the river and bridge. We had ample space, a small fridge, comfortable bed and televisions in the bedroom and the living room. I loved all of the artwork in the room. Breakfast in the morning was hot, plentiful and tasty for everyone. We walked half a mile to the capital before checking out. We would love to stay again...the proximity to museums made us wish we had more time to explore. Overall, it was an exceptional experience!

I love to stay at Embassy Suite Sacramento at least 4 times a year. The rooms are clean and setup excellent for work. A great choice for business travelers! The included breakfast and managers drink hour are both a real plus.

I had a family reunions hosted at the Embassy Suites in Sacramento. I think we rented a suite and it was very presidential kind of feel to it dark rustic furniture. Very spacious bathroom. Large bed, and a pull out couch in the living room. The best thing I will never forget about this hotel is the breakfast in the morning! 🍳🥓🥐🥞 And I forgot to mention that it's a buffet. The food was so amazing and the abundance was out of sight! Omelettes made to order, different kind of little pastries. The most bacon I have ever seen 😍 Pancake, cereal, sausage, fruit, juices etc. The bar was really good too. I had a great version of a Mai Tai. I believe they do have a pool and a gym. My family members said that the gym was very clean. If I ever do come back to Sacramento, I am definitely staying at the Embassy Suites.

This is a nice hotel. Friendly people, and I like how the room doors are all on the inside and not the outside. It feels more safe. Food was good, my only thing was the pool had lots of chlorine in it. Just too strong for me.

Stayed as an overnight guest in a two room suite. Had an excellent view of the State Capitol Building from the 7th floor. Room was a bit dated and we did find dust on various areas of the room that took away from the cleanliness of the room. Evening reception and breakfast were the expected quality for embassy suites. Parking is a bit steep but that's to be expected based on the location.

The hotel was nice, having a tasty free breakfast, indoor pool and hot tub, and easy walk to entertainment for all ages.
When my friend's perfectly planned wedding hit some major bumps, the hotel had the resources to fix the problems. The manager David was so quick, helpful, accommodating, and truly nice. The wedding ended up lacking nothing.

My mother in law was over at the Embassy suites for a couple of nights for a work retreat. The family came over to visit at the lobby. It was nice and clean. A big atrium welcomed us with a few fountains to enjoy while launching around for an hour or so. Bathrooms were clean and accessible. A cafe where a cold beer could be enjoyed was also found at the lobby.

Great clean and quiet hotel. Front desk staff were friendly. The breakfast was the best part of my morning. Cooked to order omelets were delicious and quick. Variety of food to choose from in the buffet.

Walking distance to the California State Historic Train Museum and the Leland Stanford governor's mansion. Would definitely stay there again.

Location was very nice. Able to walk the river, check out the tower bridge and across the street is Old Sacramento. The rooms were nice, clean and the entire hotel and staff were amazing. Was there for a wedding and what a great place the get ready for the wedding party. Living room in the front of the room and the bed room in the back. Plenty of room for 6 guys to get ready.

The only thing I would say that wasn’t ok was the view from our room. We paid for the “river view” and that’s all we got. We had room 405 and it couldn’t see the tower unless we bent our heads way to the left. Room 405 is around the corner and the tower view disappears almost completely. Disappointed given with tax the room was almost $300 for the night. Room itself was a standard Embassy Suites room. Dated. Breakfast and social hour were good. We would stay again only because of the location. Easy access to Old Sacramento and they have a nice river walkway for people who want to walk or run.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Very clean hotel. Located on edge of Downtown, so not busy...that could be a good thing. Valet parking convenient, but expensive! Located right on the riverside so that was nice. Staff is nice, valet parking attendants are friendly & Bistro in lobby has good food, too. Atrium is a little tight & crowded... but it might be because of the little Expo they had there that day. The tables they set up made it hard to move around...even the bathrooms they had in the lobby was clean :)

Solid hotel almost dropped.four stars but it is missing some stuff. But this is on the high end of three stars. Very friendly staff, super spacious rooms, great breakfast in the morning. They use their restaurant which elevates the breakfast far above the standard eggs and bacon. Great location too. If you can get a room with a view of the bridge it's really pretty especially at night.

We were next to the loudest family I have ever stayed next to. The hotel was full of young families and kids were everywhere. Breakfast didn't have bagels. The rooms were clean. They brought us plenty of towels and extra pillows. Staff didn't really communicate. And you had to pay extra for valet parking.

Absolutely love Embassy Suites downtown Sac. Close to the river, jogging trails, downtown, walking distance from capitol, from Golden 1 Center, went to Kings game last night, dinner with family, and stayed until 1 today. Swimming pool, lobby great. And the breakfast is great. Love this place!

The hotel is clean and nice. I can only rate the conference area that I was in. The room was nice, however, there were 45 people squeezed onto a table set up that would comfortably seat about 35. I don't know, maybe they ran out of tables. There was plenty of space in the room, so I'm not sure why the quarters were so cramped. Aside from that, the lunch was great and the restrooms were very clean.

The room was clean. The bed was super comfortable. There were many choices for breakfast. There was a large buffet and an omelette bar. The hotel was decorated beautifully for the Holiday Season. Our bed was away far enough from the door that other guests who were talking in front of our door did not disturb us. Having a Starbucks inside the hotel was lovely.

My boyfriend and I stayed here one night for a midnight event downtown, and it was perfect for our trip. Comfortable rooms, nice spacious lobby, great service. Valet was affordable and convenient (SO much better than running out to a different lot at 6am to re-park...) Of course the free drink reception in the evening plus free breakfast in the morning is an excellent perk! Definitely recommend this hotel, great location for downtown Sacramento.

We stayed at Embassy Suites Hotel located in downtown and our experience was a very pleasant one. Many reviews complained about the valet charge, but doesn't every hotel in Sacramento. charge for parking and valet? We were politely informed of the charge and notified beforehand. The front desk and valet employees both were very kind and prompt. The rooms are spacious & clean. However, my only complain is the walls are paper thin! We heard every word of our neighbors tv show loud and clear (which is unnecessary when trying to rest). Other than that our experience at Embassy Suites was a pleasant one.

You probably know this is a high end expensive hotel. I have to tell you though, this particular hotel was probably my favorite business destination hotel. The interior courtyard was huge, allowing for impromptu meetings easily. Their large meeting rooms probably won't accommodate huge conventions but did very well with the modest 125 group we had. The manager's reception provides free drink in the evening. (Only Bud for beer though.) Don't forget to tip the server!

This hotel is great. The river view and central location make it well worth the price. They also have complimentary drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) and snacks from 5:30-7:30 in the bar area. They also have free breakfast where you can BYO omelette. The variety was great and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

We stayed three nights for a Cockayne Syndrome conference and the staff went out of their way several times to ensure our stay was perfect. Breakfast was amazing, front desk was very accommodating and the cleaning staff found an extra memory foam mattress to place on top of our pull out mattress in the couch in our room to allow us more sleeping arrangement options for our family. It was a great stay and we will be back.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

The room was clean and pretty modern. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is a lot nicer than older Embassy Suites and very busy, maybe because of the location. There are lots of places walking distance from the hotel. I would love to stay here again, but be aware of the following we experienced: parking was busy with valet only at the hotel, there is only one line to check in and they were so busy that we had to wait until 4pm to get our room, lots of parties on the Sat day and night we were there so we had to dodge kids and people in-line at buffets in the hallways, and homeless people sleeping on the benches adjacent to the hotel.

The hotel is nice, modern and sophisticated. The location is OUTSTANDING, right across the street from Old Town Sac, and blocks from downtown. I was impressed by the staff, and the breakfast was very good, too. Only complaints I have is the rooms need to be soundproofed better; the people next to us were being unbelievably loud, with 5 children SCREAMING at the top of their lungs from 5 AM until 11:30 PM. I have earplugs that can tune out a jet close by, these kids were so loud that other rooms further away were complaining. Also, it seems like everyone in Sacramento has no manners, as everyone around us at breakfast and the manager's reception were constantly hacking at the top of their lungs and not covering their cough at all. Other than that, it's a nice hotel (I'd also recommend staying in a room away from the elevators, also a noise complaint).

Place was pretty nice and clean. Service was A+ tho. I ordered some mango tea however they didnt have any left. The waitress made a big effort to get me an alternative asap. Liked that. The food tasted good. Probably not suited for me but I can tell its good food. Food came periodically in semi large portions for our party to share, which was nice because it made you eagerly anticipate the next dish, whether it was seconds of the previous or something entirely different. Staff was also very friendly (As mentioned with the waitress) but as a whole. Nice place for a fancy dine but not for the common pleb like most of on here lmao

Check-in was quick, welcoming, and smooth. Room was pretty good overall, but some of the furniture had some minor (but noticeable wear/stains). Bed was really comfortable, and no problems with warm water. The breakfast is fantastic! Made to order omelettes and plenty of breakfast food options, though finding seating can be a challenge. All staff members that I interacted with were nice and helpful. Would consider staying here again.

I was there for a professional conference and the hotel did a great job of accommodating us. The food was great and they provided wonderful snacks and drinks all day long. If we had any issues or questions the staff were quick and happy to help. I did not stay the night in a room but thier bathrooms and facilities were clean and well maintained!

Place was enjoyable and accommodating. Food was great and there is an open bar for two hours every day for those who want a drink. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

The hotel is nice, modern and sophisticated. The location is OUTSTANDING, right across the street from Old Town Sac, and blocks from downtown. I was impressed by the staff, and the breakfast was very good, too. Only complaint I have is the rooms need to be soundproofed better; the people next to us were being unbelievably loud, with 5 children SCREAMING at the top of their lungs from 5 AM until 11:30 PM. I have earplugs that can tune out a jet close by, these kids were so loud that other rooms further away were complaining. Other than that, it's a nice hotel (I'd also recommend staying in a room away from the elevators, also a noise complaint).

The actual experience was great once I got to the hotel. I became lost on the way there and was unable to get a live person when calling the hotel for assistance with directions. I stopped at the Hyatt Regency valet to get get directions. When finally arriving at the Embassy Suites and explaining my phone call, staff told me they were having problems with phones. Yet in an attempt to call the hotel the following week for a question, again nobody answered. Prompt 1 for reservations takes you to a call center in the Philippines. Prompt 2 gets you a voice mail in sales and catering. Prompt 3 gets you a voice mail in accounts and billing. Prompt 4 states you are being transferred to a hotel representative, yet nobody answers and then the message repeats the prompts again. For an exclusive hotel, I expect better service. I did have the managers extension from my bill and dialed that leaving a voice mail for him but no message back.

A very nice hotel with pleasant accomodations; free breakfast with lots of options that is fairly good. Big rooms for sure! Okay location as you can easily walk to the river and the Old Downtown.

The hotel staff was great! Checked my bags in 12 hours before I checked in to the hotel. Willing to help in whatever way necessary. Will more than likely be staying again in the future

The room was huge and nicely furnished. The bar staff were.pleasant and made a surprisingly delicious long island. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy and that the event ran smoothly.

This hotel is located down town, very close to old town. I used valet parking so I'm not sure what the parking situation is. The people working at this hotel are very friendly. The free breakfast is very good. The room smelled of cigarettes despite the sign that said it's a non smoking room. The beds are comfortable, and the room was spacious.

Embassy suites was very nice, we came for an event and ended up spending the night because of their service. Yes, it's a bit ( l mean a lot) out of my price range, but why not? Beds were comfortable and the food was great. I ended up with a good night's sleep. What else can you ask for?

Embassy suites was a perfect venue for our career fair. Among the dedicated lobby filled with refreshments for the interviewees and the multiple rooms for the interviews themselves, I was presently surprised by how accommodating the staff were. The open ambiance left for a beautiful display of the fountains on the bottom floor.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around...

My wife and I stand at the Embassy Suites in Sac for our 10 year wedding anniversary. I had some unusual requests due to the fact I was trying to do some special stuff for my wife. I made the reservation and contacted the hotel to let them know what my plans were and how they could help. When I went to the hotel I had some champagne glasses I had engraved, I spoke with Lia and she was more than helpful with getting everything coordinated. I was introduced to Zach who is one of the bell men, he took the bottle of champagne and had it put in the fridge for me until I arrived the following day. I mentioned to them I was going to have some flowers delivered to the hotel and I wanted the flowers, champagne and glasses set up in the room before my arrival. Job well done Zach, Lia and Jared, you guys helped make everything happen and my anniversary was great! I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the sac area close to downtown - get a room at Embassy Suites.

Seriously the friendliest staff I have experienced. They were over the top in striving to meet our needs. Clean and beautiful place to stay. Continental breakfast was great and the hotel had lots of amenities. All that can be offered at other midrange hotels but the staff won me over. Highly recommended!

The rooms are super spacious with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. The interior design is pretty standard, maybe a little dated. Complimentary breakfast was better than average for a hotel. Breakfast bar with made to order hot breakfast too. The large atrium is pleasant. Seems like a good place for a conference.

Checked in online and was able to select the exact room we were going to stay into. Free internet with the rewards program. Great room and atmosphere so far. I slept like a baby in the king bed as well.

Overall very nice place. Rooms are spacious, drinks are fairly priced, staff is extremely nice. My only complaint is that the breakfast isn't open until 630am which makes it difficult for business travel.
