ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Having stayed here for 3 weeks on business during the COVID-19 situation, I think the management has done a fine job caring for tenants' health and safety, including room cleaning by request (and management checking in to see if you need anything), occupancy limits in elevators, and programming elevators to return to common floors to minimize unnecessary touch contact.
That said, I wished there was more variety in the breakfast food day-to-day. 3 weeks of eggs and bacon got real tiring quickly.

This place is absolutely perfect! The windows open wide, so we enjoyed many hours over our 3-night stay. It was so relaxing. I feel homesick for that room, and we are 100% going back next year. The room was so clean and beautifully decorated. Perfect attention to detail in our room as well as the breakfast room. Highly recommended!

This is my third time staying in this hotel, and every time is so solid and remarkable. All of the staff go out of their way to give you a good experience. The staff were very attentive to my needs and never get tired of answering all of my questions to my full satisfaction in a very polite way. This hotel is indeed one of a kind! Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel. Well kept and clean. I've stayed at hotels 3 times as expensive and the customer service offered here was equal to or better. Great customer service really changes an experience.

Room was clean and nice. They throw in another $30 for parking but you have no choice but to pay, beware. The complimentary drinks were so slow. They only had one bar tender, it may be by design. The breakfast was late for the buffet but the custom order line, while long, moved quickly. Overall it was good.

Really awesome experience and would highly recommend it. There's a PF changs in the same parking lot. There's a bunch of EV chargers including 2 or 3 Tesla proprietary ones. Happy hour with free beer and wine from 530 to 730 and a pretty decent breakfast. Rooms are nice, clean, and well laid out. Would recommend!!

The location based on my trip was perfect. The hotel itself was nice, the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was included for Hilton Honors guests. It was good food, omlets, fresh eggs, bacon, fruit, bread, juices, etc. The rooms were spacious. Decor and bathrooms were a little dated. Old style fiberglass tub. The bed was atrocious. It was so stiff it was almost like sleeping on a table. The pillows were so soft the offered no support. Asked for "stiffer" pillows and they offered foam ones that again we're so soft your head sank right through them. The AC could not get cold enough at 70 degrees that it ran constantly through the night. No need for a wake up call, construction next door starts up at 5:30am and clear as day, even on the top floor. The pool and hot tub were nice, and by the end of the week, needed after sleeping in that bed. A few upgrades and this place could be really nice. But, I'll take a short ride to work over an uncomfortable sleep.

The customer service here is fabulous. We received a text everyday asking about how our stay was going. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were clean. The complimentary food was DELICIOUS. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was Great! It wasn't just made-to-order omelettes. It was the entire hot breakfast. There's even an option for fix-your-own, in case you do not care to wait in line. The ambulance was very nice. The lobby seemed warm and inviting. The Koi pond was a nice touch. And the staff was very friendly. Definitely would stay there again.

Embassy Suites are nice and clean. The staff at the bar and kitchen very attentive.

This Hotel charges $12.00 a day for using the Internet unless you book directly with them. In addition there is a $31.00 daily fee for parking.

Also the cleaning of the rooms could be improved. Overall, I was not impressed with the service and I end up paying 35% more a night than originally expected.

The hotel is easy to find and extremely welcoming. I went there because they were generous enough to host the boys and girls to stay the night and provide a dinner and breakfast for us who are attending MEPS for the military. The rooms were big and spacious. They had a living room, dining table, bathroom, huge closet, and a great comfortable bed with nice pillows. Two TV's I must add. It was great!

Beautiful room. We were surprised that there were two separate rooms which was perfect since we had our 8 month old and mother-in-law. Had a fridge, microwave, and sink. Comfy bed but the pullout couch was uncomfortable. Bring a foam egg crate to put on mattress.

Nice rooms, comfortable bed, the suites are a great size and the TVs are big. Breakfast is awesome! The parking is expensive and the garage provides is awkward...also, the water for the shower is lukewarm when it is busy, so don't expect hot water in the summer (or so the front desk confessed). But overall a great experience!

I think this property is a great bang for the buck. They have plenty of amenities and are family friendly. They serve a hot breakfast every day and have a evening reception with free drinks. The rooms are a good size and are easily accessible. My only critique would be that the parking is a little too pricey ($30+ per day). However, my children love feeding the koi fish in the main area and it's always clean and fresh-smelling! I've stayed there twice and would gladly do so again.

This hotel had some great services and amenities such as a made to order breakfast that my whole family loved, as well as quick grab and go food. In the evening we enjoyed the on site restaurant where I’d highly recommend the burgers and street tacos! PF Chang’s is also conveniently located in the same parking lot with a mall and other restaurants across the street. There was also a live band one evening. The lobby/atrium area were very nice with an indoor koi pond and kids can feed the fish every morning, which my daughters loved! We used the indoor pool and outdoor hot tub numerous times as well. Unfortunately with as great as everything else about the hotel was, the beds were incredibly firm and we didn’t get very good sleep during our 4 night stay. Since this is the most important part of why we all use hotels, I had to drop my rating to a 3. If the hotel was the confirm that they upgraded the mattresses, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. But until they do, we would likely choose another hotel.

Beautiful hotel in La Jolla that is close to downtown San Diego and Carlsbad. All of the rooms are suites, so there is plenty of room for the whole family and/or additional sleeping space since the couch can turn into a bed. There is a daily made to order breakfast (pancakes, omelets, bacon, etc.) and manager's reception, which includes beer, wine, and mixed drinks. The staff is friendly and the hotel is very clean. Parking is extremely expensive, but there is plenty of free parking on the street. Great place to stay on your next visit!

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and polite. The problem I had was logistics. They had my reservation, they said to wait for my room to be prepared, they promised to text. I waited for two hours. I checked with them multiple times during that time, but was told repeatedly soon, it would be soon. I couldn't leave to do something else as I had no idea what the problem was, and so did I need alternative lodging for my prepaid reservation. I still do not have the slightest idea what the problem was.
Breakfast was nicely done with multiple choices that includes cereal, eggs and fruit.

The hotel is quite expansive, and rooms are spacious. Rooms were well-maintained and quiet clean. Standard American breakfast is included. However I did not like the extra charges for parking, which was $30 for a night, which seemed quiet high.

Haven't ever stayed here but I've visited numerous times and also use their in hotel avid to rent cars. Hotel is clean and spacious. We really enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel. The hotel at the time was offering a free breakfast which if you wanted to wait in line could be made to order including omelettes and pancakes. If you decide to get the made to order.. it is a good idea to get there first thing when the Line opens. If you don't care about the maid to order then it is just fine 2 get from the buffet or when they are busy they have an extra Chef table where they will serve scrambled eggs and egg toast with sausage. There is a nice selection of pastries as well as watermelon, grapefruit, cerial, oat meal, hard boiled eggs, hot chocolate, coffee, orange juice, flavored water, hot tea, etc. They were also offering a complimentary adult beverage and snacks in the evening hours. In the center area there is also a stream pond with large koi fish in it. The lobby is beautiful. There is a smoking area in the front entrance with fire pits. They have the whole first floor Outer Perimeter dedicated to meeting rooms and banquet areas. There is also a bar and lounge. I believe you can order food from the menu there but I am not sure. There are four elevators that are glass and you can see the lobby from. It is worth a trip to go to the top floor and look over the Center area. please

The rooms are large with plenty of space. Good sized bathroom. Soft yet comfortable beds. Only drawbacks are the breakfast is very busy and you have to swipe your room card to get an omelette and the wait for the elevators (and the fact you cannot access the stairs to walk up.

Nice place. They made me feel welcome with their friendliness and hospitality. The suite was nice but for the age of the place it seemed dark. Because there aren't lots of options in the area, it's probably one of the better places.

I came here for a conference, so I can only speak to the venue, not the hotel rooms. The open plaza is beautiful, with running water, koi fish, and amble foliage. We stayed here for a trip to sea world. It is a very nice , but somethings could use some updating in the room. The lobby and other areas were very nice. The one problem I had was that in the shower, there was hair left in there. For almost $300 per night, everything should be clean and disinfected.

It's an Embassy Suites, and it's in the suburbs, so it meets the criteria of a hotel when traveling for work. Spacious rooms that are pretty bland, but rooms are well-kept. Better than average beds and pillows.

Pro Tip: You might try to find parking on the street before committing to paying to park in their garage. If so, street parking is free.

After my wife and I arrived in San Diego for our honeymoon, and her birthday trip and our first hotel was absolutely horrendous. We had to move hotels. I have to say moving hotels was the best thing that could have happened to us. This is an amazing hotel. As someone who has worked in the hotel industry for 20 years I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The hotel is clean, and comfortable. Every employee who we interacted with was friendly and accommodating, from the maintenance man to housekeepers. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and always made a point to say hi. I have to give a huge WOW to Edgar the front desk supervisor who after finding out how bad our trip to San Diego was he made a point thru out the rest of our stay to make sure everything was wonderful. The other person who WOW'd my wife and myself was Andrew from the bar/ restaurant, by our second night there he knew my wife, and I and was always friendly and over the top. He made it well worth going down to the restaurant at the end of a long day.

The hotel is a good value especially if you bring kids. The breakfast that's included is a complete hot breakfast with omelette station. Little kids will love feeding the fish that circle the inside of the hotel lounge area. You have to pay $28 for parking but there is free parking on the street, however that's hard to find over a weekend. The location is close to beaches and other restaurants in the area, including a real nice outdoor mall area across the street and in walking distance.

Ironing Set Review: For the business traveler, the Ironing Set is slightly above average. Yes, I'm really reviewing the ironing set.

Ironing Board 8/10 stars: The ironing board is full length and the fabric is solid (not thin or worn). There is an indentation at the rear of the board but it's manageable.

Iron 7/10 stars: The iron itself did not have steam button but had a steam setting. However, the holes wear the steam comes out was dirty and had hard water stains. Overall, the hotel is an affordable hotel in a great location, in a great city.

Extremely well located across the mall and by multiple freeways. Close to UCSD and La Jolla. Free breakfast buffet in the central patio. Indoor pool, spa and sauna! I just wish that the "living room"/office room, in the front if the suite, had more natural light, especially in the corner suites.

The Embassy Suites is pretty much the cat's meow. Who can argue with complimentary breakfast and happy hour? I feel like other hotels should look to Embassy Suites as a model. It sure makes somebody feel welcome when you have included amenities as a paying guest. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the Embassy Suite was the BEST!! the location was close to restaurants, one of there the malls, like right across the street. P.F. Changs has great food. The hotel has beautiful landscape and outdoor sitting area. comfortable chairs. Everything about the Embassy meet my expectations. The prices are high performance night, I guess that was do to Comic Con weekend. The hotel guest were very professional, Eric and the other guy were Awesome! served excellent mixed drinks. All the staff in every department were Superb! Thank you Ms. Linda for being our personal photographer..Breakfast was great. The rooms were clean and didn't have an odor. Thanks for the Complimentary tickets for appetizers. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Next time we will hit the pool........ Thanks

Certainly a fine hotel. Little aspects are the only reason for giving it under a 5 star review. Some parts of the hotel feel cramped. The buffet in the mornings is held in a small area in the lobby where lots of people gather. Rooms and hallways are clean and beds are comfy. Overall a pretty good stay.

The room amenities were fairly average but having two separate living areas absolutely boosts the return appeal. My kids were on the sofa bed in the living room and it worked out perfectly. The bed is on the firm side but certainly comfortable. Love the shower and overall cleanliness. My kids loved the lobby environment. There's a koi pond that is just so cool and it made it easier to get out of the room. Also, the breakfast was awesome. Loved the omelettes both days we stayed. I will definitely be staying there if the prices stay right.

I quickly became a fan of Embassy Suites because of this location. The convenience of the amenities is a HUGE plus. Made to order breakfast is included in the reservation fee and makes it worth it, if you're up in time. Social hour (2 hours) in the evening is also really nice. We had Shock Top and well mixed drinks at no additional charge (please remember to tip). Pros: great location, clean, quiet rooms, very friendly staff, included good breakfast and drinks in the evening, cool design. Cons: smaller pool with too many unsupervised kids (not hotels fault), hot tub wasn't working properly, parking parking and parking ($28/night). All things considered, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around...

My husband and I love this hotel. It's located directly across the street from the University Town Center upscale shopping mall. There is some street parking of you do not work wish to pay for their parking lot; however do NOT park at the shopping mall as I've seen cars being towed for this. Our room was clean and had a nice view of the skyline. The service was prompt and friendly. They also include a hot breakfast with a cooked to order omelet station each morning for guests. In the evening, they offer a wonderful happy hour that includes snacks, juices, and free booze (draft beer, wine, and well drinks). Just tap your room key as you order. We'll definitely be staying at this hotel again.

The room was clean and well stocked. I found the staff to be very helpful. We also attended Happy Hour and breakfast while we were there and found the food to be tasty and a good variety. We would definitely come back.

The hotel was in a comfortable area to drive to. The room itself was spacious even for our large family, and we enjoyed the complimentary reception in the evening and continental breakfast in the morning!

The hotel itself isn't bad. I had house keeping remove/replace some bedding sheets that had stains on it. The housekeeper wasn't too pleasant, as she gave me replacement sheets in a manner that she seemed annoyed.

Well done. Top notch service across the board. $28 parking is ridiculous, however. Free on street parking is available. On-site restaurant is well above average in both quality and price... Breakfast gets busy quickly but the staff is fast and friendly.

Embassy suites is always a warranty of good service. Breakfast and happy hour are great! Huge hall. Large rooms. Fitness center and whirlpool are big enough for the capacity of the hotel. Location is good especially for business

Breakfast was off the hook! From made to order eggs to fresh fruit. Teenage kids loved all the options. Evening happy hour was awesome. Also enjoyed a small dinner. Had maintenance issue and it was addressed and we were relocated quickly.

I love everything about this hotel. I stayed up in the 7th floor and enjoyed the height I was at. But not really on the inside. The thing I enjoyed was there were really nice people to meet and even nice service. The breakfast which I always get In every hotel was alot more delicious then I thought they were in other hotels. I would love to come back here in this hotel. I really enjoyed it! But the only thing I didn't like was, I didn't like the pool. Usually everywhere I go, I would find a good pool but this one was very bland. But the hot tub was pretty nice though and pretty hot. I would probably put more decorations on the hotel pool. But overall it's pretty good!

The setting was nice and open, the inner courtyard was well kept and clean. The rooms were well appointed. Parking is not free. The lot fills quickly and the spaces are tight. The complementary breakfast is good and set up well. A little pricy for what you get,but they all are here in la jolla.

Very nice room and accommodations. Hotel location is perfect! Close to lots of shopping, food and local attractions. The free breakfast and evening snacks and drinks were great. We will be returning to this hotel in the future.

My goto place when visiting San Diego, the rooms are exceptionally clean and well done. Excellent suites well suited for families. Staff is very polite and ever ready to help. Koi pond with fishes add a touch of class. Breakfast made to order gets you going in the mornings. The only downside could be 25$ overnight parking fee and hard to find parking on busy weekends.

Very nice atrium. Rooms feel spacious. Only problem was that my room key never worked at the parking garage entrance.

The hotel rooms were spacious and clean. Nothing much to complain. The only downside was the breakfast menu was always the same. I wished they had variety.

We usually always stay at embassy suites and this was definitely the best one so far! Will definitely pick this location for our trip in march. Thanks so much for the great service and very friendly staff! The one in orange airport needs some training from this location! The rooms over there were extremely warm!

We stayed at the embassy because it was close to an event we wanted to attend. It was a great classy hotel. They have free drinks and light snacks every night at welcome reception and excellent breakfast included every morning. The staff was very attentive and polite. We would stay here again! The only con was that parking was not included with out stay. It was $28/day for self park or $33 for valet. We opted to save money and parked on the street instead. For the price we paid per night, it was astonishing that parking was not included.

Great location (across the street from UTC mall for shopping and dining). Good breakfast buffet (lines were a little long some days). Great staff (very friendly and accommodating). Easy access to UCSD (just down the street about a mile). Great experience!

This Embassy Suites is one of the better ones. The decor looks & feels nicer.

However, there is a $28/day for self parking ($35/day for valet). The parking garage is not big and its spaces are tight.

Great service, wonderful complimentary breakfast, and a uniquely designed interior with Koi pond and indoor-facing rooms. The suites are large and luxurious with safe, microwaves, comfy beds, lounge couches and a nice desk for business trips. The location is ok, near a mall and not much else, but everything else is top notch.

Beautiful room with a great view of a well designed lobby. the view outside isn't so great, but that's ok. The food at the bar is very good and reasonably priced. I was the only one in the weight room, pool and hot tub. Hope you have the same good luck.

This is one of the nicer Embassy Suites that I have visited, since everything is modern and up to date. They have a nice indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, so it's always a perfect time for a swim regardless of the weather. Also, their manager's reception has a lot more to offer with a great variety of food & drinks. Not only do you get your drinks in glass cups instead of plastic ones, but they also have a Coca Cola freestyle machine! However, in our most recent stay we were given a room that had a leak of some sort because the wall between the bathroom & bedroom was wet throughout our visit. You could hear something dripping the entire time we were trying to sleep. Additionally, there was a power outage on our second night and we were unable to do anything for awhile & our food that was in our mini fridge went bad. Not a great experience this time around, but hopefully we have a better experience on our next visit, if we decide to stay here again.

Nice location. Good service. Got free valet parking for 2 hours visit. And overnight parking is $35.

Hotel is a bit old. The elevator has a minor issue when I was using.

Overall nice hotel.

I LOVED my stay here! It is a beautiful hotel, lush Koi pond, elegant, comfortable and QUIET in the rooms. I heard absolutely nothing.
The staff were completely professional and the rooms immaculate.
I highly recommend this hotel!

I stayed here because I had to have two brain surgeries and it's close to the hospital. There were a few people that really made me feel at ease. From check in with Yulie to the Lounge with Jenna Hensley and Nicole Svoboda. The meal was great and I had a couple of beers at happy hour. I was made to feel at ease about my surgeries and felt like they cared about the outcome.
Thank you and I will stay here again when I come to La Jolla.
