ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity
• Use eco-label housekeeping products

ISO 50001 is based on the management system model of continual improvement also used for other well-known standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. This makes it easier for organizations to integrate energy management into their overall efforts to improve quality and environmental management.

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

My hotel stay was good for the most part except for the bracelet that “went missing while the room was being cleaned.” When I told the front desk the guy responded with “well we can’t really do anything since we can’t prove who took it.” I said “great so people can just go around stealing and you can’t do anything.” He responded with “basically.” Soon thereafter the manager came over to me after overheating the exchange and offered me an apology and asked me to write a report. He told me someone would be in touch. It’s been almost a week and nothing. I wasn’t offered any compensation (ie. free nights or anything), just an “oops I’m sorry, not much we can do.”

The second issue was that the hotel is still under construction which is understandable, but the noise level is sometimes a bit much and Occasionally you will open your windows to find a man hanging right in front of your window. My main issue with the construction is that during times of renovation I feel room prices shouldn’t be so astronomically high, but they are. In addition, one of the gym treadmills was malfunctioning as were two laundry machines that took my $3.00.

Other than that the pool was great and breakfast was good and the valet guys were very nice. Front desk lady who registered me, Blanca is amazing and very customer friendly. Casino was fun!

Hotel under reconstrucion in parts. However our suite was large & beds comfortable. Water pressure was good and hot water plentiful. Desk staff were welcoming & helpful. There is a station for made-to-order eggs and omelets in addition to breakfast bar.

Very close to the airport, however it doesn't feel like it. Beautiful pool with good happy hour drinks, the wings are on point. Short walk from the beach & restaurants, pharmacies, gift shops, etc. Even though they are still in recovery mode from Hurricane Maria, they made sure that we were comfortable & taken care of. The wifi was a little spotty & the business ctr wasn't always working, but it didn't put a damper on our activities. Would go back again.

We went to the embassy suites to use their pools for the day. We bought the day pass ($20/adult, $10/kid, my 4 year old was free), which included a "premium drink" with each pass ($3 value). The pool is large with a big waterfall, there is also a hot tub, and a small kiddy pool. No lifeguard on duty, but towels are provided. It could use more umbrellas for the chairs to provide shade, but besides that it was perfect!

Clean room, comfy bed and on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico! Cute and designed to feel like home. It is within walking distance or a short ride to the beach. There is a restaurant and casino on site as well if you are interested in staying in.

The Hotel and Casino themselves are top notch. However, the bar in the lobby, named El Patio, has servers that need more training in order to improve their service. Notwistanding, the prices in the bar are fair, a jar of sangria costs about $16. Appetizers range from $10 to $15.

Best cleaning crew. Pool is exceptionally clean however, too cold to swim in. Jacuzzi too hot to sit in. Excellent breakfast and evening reception. Great salsa music. Great gift shop/deli. The deli food taste better than the steakhouse. Steak house food is awful, old and over cooked and very small portions for the high menu price. It is always empty. One. The restaurants also on site has excellent food . a little pricey, but worth it may be one or two nights. Excellent parking. 20.00 a night . price us very good that includes break fast, evening reception. Place is always packed. But I can always get a room. Lovely atmosohete2. Peaceful.

Few things to consider:
1. There is some construction going on after the hurricane damages.
2. Parking is charged extra $20 a night

Other than that, this is a standard Embassy suites with good service and amaneties. Everything is in working condition (after the hurricane).

This was the perfect place to stay in our last night in Puerto Rico. Less than 10 minutes from the airport and the building contains everything you might need. However I wouldn't stay here purely for vacation. The streets nearby are congested and other areas are more beautiful. But the rooms are luxurious.

Beautiful hotel with helpful staff. Pros: the pool is well kept, there is a gym to workout and laundry for clothes. Staff are helpful and polite.
Cons: food is expensive, which is to be expected for a hotel. Rooms had minor discrepancies like broken towel hangars. The noise from jets taking off and landing can be annoying, but you get used to it if you spend more than three days here. I actually enjoyed watching them take off from my window. I spent 3 months here and I can legitimately say I would live there if I had to haha.

Had stayed here last minute sometime last year unexpectedly. Loved every minute of my stay. The suites are large enough to house a family of 4+, a little dated but not a turnoff for me.

From the moment I entered the hotel the staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating.

Loved that drinks are included with the room rental open bar in the evening, breakfast made to order in the morning were delicious and part of the accommodation definitely a plus and extra money in your pocket, that being said tip, tip and tip!

The casino staffers / servers were amazing, just great. I felt bad that others took advantage of being catered to and tipped very little or nothing at all and the staff was not fazed by it, service with a smile at all time.

I believe in the value of great service. Be generous people when service is outstanding and therefore the smile on the servers face warms your ❤!

She did provide delicious Puerto Rican sopita and coffee! Anything you want like grill cheese & ham....& more! Believe me you don't get that in the states!

Is a really nice place with a great staff. Had custom omelets in the morning. Tipping is optional but the breakfast is complimentary so I highly encourage it! Right now they are closed to the general public and currently have relief workers such as fema and the national guard in attendance, which is really remarkable to see. The hurricane shutters are still up and people are showing up to work and running this hotel without all they're needed resources at home or work. Thank you to the staff. Y'all are amazing.

We stayed in this hotel in February and loved every minute! We stayed here seven days and were pleased with the staff, the food, the drinks, and the location. You’re just two blocks from the beach, such an easy walk. There is a gentleman at the beach waiting for you to set out your seats, towels, and an umbrella. The made to order breakfast is delicious and the staff was so accommodating. We asked one morning if we could have chocolate chips for chocolate chip pancakes and they went out of their way to find some for us. I would highly recommend this hotel and come back in the future.

Good place... And I really like it... But small issues in room keep it from a five star... But other then this... It's a hard hotel to beat when it comes to the price and amenities...

I like it enough to stay at the same place again...

But the biggest negative is the lack of Beach access... But for someone on business... It's perfect!

I really enjoyed my stay here that I didn't want to go home. The location is great very convenient if you want to stay near the beach. Its in walking distance from the grocery store and CVS pharmacy. The breakfast was very delicious I would recommend that you get there early if want an omelet or you will be waiting in line for about 15 minutes. The traffic for breakfast mostly picks up around 8-9am. They also serve you a snack every day 5:30-7:30 and its happy hour the drinks are pretty strong yet good. I ate at Outback for 2 days straight their food is not seasoned well . I enjoyed the casino if you're feeling lucky go because I witnessed a lady win 5,000 and she put only 10 dollars in the machine. The highlight of my trip was my encounter with the house keeper her name is Sancha Santos she is unable to hear but she was a sweet heart she cleaned our room and left everything we asked for; this lady real touch my heart I wanted to take her home with me she remind me of my grandmother. I wrote her a letter of appreciation; I wish it was a way I could get in contact with her. It is important to have staff like her because people love feeling welcomed as if you are home but I will be returning in the future and hopefully we will cross paths again.

I do not think that this location lives up to the rest of the franchise. The upkeep is marginal for such a nice brand. Breakfast is a bit disorganized and inconsistent. The restaurant is very slow. That being said, we moved here from the "resort" across the street. This must be considered excellent for the area. Don't get me wrong, it's not terrible. It's just not what I expected from an Embassy Suites. I would stay here again. I would just adjust my expectations accordingly.

I have stayed at Embassy Suites all over the country and I reserved a studio room, to save money on this work related trip. The room was large but only had a bed dresser and TV, there was no lounge chair, no desk table and desk chair, so no where to work from the hotel, so I ended up going to the airport 5 hrs early so I could get some work done. The hot tub was not very warm at 9:30 am either, it must be shut off at night. The property itself was nice and we'll kept.

Average Embassy Suites. Great pool. So-so location. Uber not allowed at hotel. Breakfast is below Embassy Suites standard. Cocktail hour is super crowded and and real lack of snacks besides popcorn and tortilla chips. Rooms are big as always, decor is boring and dated.

Not a bad hotel. Big pool, nice rooms, big tvs, comfortable beds. Breakfast isn't bad at all considering its included. Same goes for the open bar. Only thing is that those 2 things get really busy because its included.

OK hotel but poor location. The Hotel is fine (although the breakfast buffet is very boring and not restocked - If you want a croissant you'd best be there early). The rooms are spacious - we went there with 2 small kids (3 & 6) and it was perfect for us. Good pool area - And an easy walk to the beach which is excellent. There is nothing to see/do in the area around the hotel - I'd recommand staying close to Old San Juan if visiting.

Same old Embassy Suites you have come to know and love. Wifi worked surprisingly well but a little irritated to have to pay for parking (pet peeve) but no real alternatives in Isla Verde. Location is just off the main drag and a short 5 minute walk to the beach.

I gave this Embassy Suites 3 stars because a shower valve in my bathroom was broken and couldn't switch between the tub slicker or the shower head. The service was great though, they had a tech up to the room in minutes. The other reason for 3 stars is the carpeting was old and torn and other plumbing fixtures in my room were very old and not secured well.

Loved this hotel other than a delayed check in. Wouldn't stay anywhere else but a Hilton hotel especially Embassy Suites. If you have children this is the place for you. If you are going with your significant other definitely should stay here, if you are coming here with friends definitely stay here. The breakfast is great especially the made to order. The drinks are awesome, the staff were great always willing to make your stay better

Centrally located on Isla Verde next to the San Juan airport. Outback steakhouse and Casino are also on site. The pool is amazing with a waterfall and hot tub. So far the service has been great when I checked in late this morning.

There are many hidden fees that are not well explained when you book on the HILTON site. Additionally the front desk was consistently understaffed causing long checkin lines. The carpeting and paint in the hallways needs to be updated. The rooms were clean and nice.

Note: When I checked in they asked me for the names of each person in my room. They then have a wrist band for each person. When I checked out they had charged me extra for each person. She. I asked about it they said they charge for every unduly in the room. The extra people in my room were kids and were free. Had I not asked I would have paid $100 more. I stay in HILTON properties every week and this is the first time I have ever experienced this.

Recently renovated. Of the few hotels that still are a great value for locals. Breakfast end evening drinks are included as part of the resort fee. The pool area is very nice and even though the airport is very close, I don't remember being bother by the noise. Lots of places to dine out near the hotel including Outback Steakhouse inside the hotel.

Anxious to return, everything is rite there within walking distance, the beach, fine dining, shopping and as their description says, in house casino, three nice restaurants, nightly open bar with entertainment and an amazing pool, all with a staff that goes above and beyond.

This was our second time there. We stayed there 8 years ago and loved it so much we wanted to go back again this year. The food at the restaurant was fantastic. The free made to order breakfast was awesome, something they didn't have when we went 8 years ago and also the happy hour from 5:30 to 7:30 . You can't beat that. The staff was fantastic from the front desk, barkeeps, our waitress Samantha was a shear delight our entire stay. House keeping was incredible. The staff speak Spanish and English as well . We will not be waiting 8 years to return. Embassy Suites the improvements you've added just emphasized your strides to reach perfection...I can't say enough how great you made our stay in Puerto Rico.
