ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

They serve full breakfast every morning with an omelet station! So amazing... also they have happy hour with snacks... would definitely go back!

Not impressed. I've stayed in much nicer Embassy Suites. This one just seems really outdated. There's popcorn ceiling for heaven's sake. I don't understand how this is rated a 4 star hotel. Also, what are these curtains?! The complementary breakfast was decent. Bacon wasn't overcooked. I was a little sad that there weren't any bagels though.

Location is alright, a little drive to get into San Francisco. The hotel itself is very nice and the staff are friendly. The only problem is it is a little dated. Looks straight out of the 80s. The good news is that they are planning a remodel for next year (2019) so that should fix my only real complaint. The breakfast is great, rooms are very spacious, and beds sleep like a dream. Overall a good experience.

Nice place to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was awesome with plenty to eat. Only reason for 4 stars is the rooms and hotel is a bit dated but it is clean and very comfortable.

Oldie but goodie! You can tell this hotel has age but it's very convenient and the staff is very accommodating. Big spacious hotel rooms as well with modern ammentities. Microwave, fridge, 3 beds including pull out. If you are in the are this hotel is definitely a go to whether it's for events or for a quick stop.

The rooms are all suites and so they are large and comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of options. The hotel is conveniently located near a large mall and central in Marin. The hotel also has a nice indoor pool and a waterfall. The happy hour is from 5:30-7:30 and offers free drinks and snacks. A downside is that the hotel is a bit dated, but we'll kept. A second downside is that there is often no concierge.

Great hotel. It has self laundry, an indoor pool, gym, bar, everything you could need. Otherwise an equally great experience as other embassy suites.

Embassy Suites in San Rafael is very nice! The inside has a waterfall and a little pond with big koi fish! And tall trees reaching all the way up to the glass panel ceiling that lets in lots of natural light. Very relaxing and very friendly service! Also has a very good Breakfast Buffet every morning! The rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds and very clean! San Rafael is a very nice place! Always very nice weather and only minutes from San Fransico, the Beach and the Redwoods! It is truly the best place to stay on a vacation to San Francisco and the Redwoods. I stay here at least once a year on vacations to visit San Francisco and the Redwoods. Always a relaxing fun time.

Love the embassy suites, it's a mini resort, the snacks are good, I liked their cafe, the rooms are perfect 2 beds and a fold out bed in the living room.however the pool area was pretty messy when we arrived and the pool was cloudy. The hot tub was kinda small only big enough for about 5 people. But even with these little inconviences it's still one of the best hotels

This hotel saved my husband and I's honeymoon after a terrible hotel experience in Oakland. It's fast and easy to get to San Francisco from here and feels very safe to leave your car there while you do other things. The view is great. The atmosphere is really nice, mostly filled with wine tourists and golfers. I liked that this place had a friendly environment without there being very many children running around. It made the hot tub and swim experience much better than normal. It's a very professional, clean hotel that has a very quaint, yet semi grand look to it upon entrance. Their breakfast is the best I've had included with a hotel and they have a very delicious looking dinner menu as well. Accommodations were great. I plan on staying here again if I'm ever in that area of California again.

I stayed for around $180 a night and apparently that's a comparative bargain. Unfortunately I found the property to be really old and disappointing in some specific ways: 1) The halls had old warped and rippled carpeting that was difficult to roll a 30 pound suitcase over. 2) The design of the building clearly didn't have accessibility in mind. If you are in a wheelchair, or cannot walk, the hotel can still accommodate you, but it still won't be very convenient. 3) I happened to stay in a room near a service closet and the stairs, needless to say it was pretty loud in the living area of the room. 4) I've had better breakfasts at a Quality Inn. Literally.

Otherwise my stay was comfortable, and any problems were taken care of quickly. I just don't think it was worth the cost.

I loved the people who work here. That s why I gave it 3 stars. But I had to take off 2 because it was so freezing in most of the hotels main areas that I could hardly stand it. Plus the restaurant closes in mid afternoon so you have to leave to get food.

I recently stayed at this hotel and not only did I find the rooms and meeting spaces to be better than I expected, and I had high expectations, but every single person on their staff that I interacted with blew me away with how wonderful they were. The only problem I have is I can't leave more than 5 stars for them here.

Great location, easy to find and very quiet. Parking lot could use better lighting (open air) Staff was very nice and welcoming and the free breakfast was a great way to kick off the day. I didnt like the shower setup as it put water everywhere but that was the only negative.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. We ended up staying an extra two nights because we enjoyed it so much. The staff was very friendly, the room was perfect for 3 adults and 3 kids. We also really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning, kids and adults loved the pool and hot tub and they also had free cocktails from 5:30-7:30 with snacks in the evening. Very pretty atrium with waterfall on the main floor. Would stay here again if near San Francisco.

Beautiful place I just took a client I help to the hotel to a little event they had going on but being in there was so nice! The details everywhere were so perfect. Nice little sitting area next to a water fall they have inside. I'm sure rates are very expensive. So if you want luxury and your nearby then I would go there for a night of luxury.

The employees are amazing here. David is very sweet, caring, and patient. Mirna is also very sweet, patient, helpful, and a good soul. A few things need to be fixed but a lot has changed since the last time we were here. I think a lot had to do with the new GM.

I Will be honest with you I have to say this plac was okay it's just that Ther book say that they have a shop but we ask them where it was. And they said that they don't have one and we got mad cause we needed something but they also didn't have a do not disturb sign u have to get it at the front desk but they did show respect. Which makes me a least happy.
• I am happy to see great workers

Staff was nice. The interior seems a bit dated but the room itself looked to be recently redone and was comfortable and spacious. Location is pretty good, and I can't hold them responsible for the insane design of the access roads to and from the 101. Convenient for day trips to Inverness or Napa.

Takes a big hit because there was no room safe. I'd stay here again but only if I didn't have to lug around my work laptop.

It's massive, oddly located, and the rooms are a little quirky. The management seems to have created an atmosphere conducive to large gatherings for special events. Don't expect a quiet romantic getaway and plan to eat elsewhere.

But despite all this, I was pleasantly surprised. It offers much more than it appears to from the outside.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel overall. Super nice staff, gorgeous atmosphere (love the waterfall anf koi ponds), and very nice suites. It's ideal if you're attending a concert/event nearby as there's a walking path/bridge. if I had any complaints it would only be that the hot tub jets were weirdly aimed so it was never really comfortably hitting my back. Overall, if you can afford it, stay there. It's worth it.

The stay was comfortable and provided an experience that matched my expectations. The bed was large with down pillows, the rooms clean and tidy, and the breakfast and other complimentary snacks were great. The one issue I had was the fact that the hotel was a large play ground for kids. If you have kids this is a great place but if you want a quiet relaxing stay don't stay here over the weekend. That said, once late all the noise quieted down and it was silent for a good night's sleep.

Great place for a getaway. We love coming here with our family. It's got a nice morning breakfast, evening reception and indoor pool. It's close to lots of amenities and San Francisco is roughly 30 minutes away. It's great for little kids. The rooms are all split so you can get privacy with your significant other.

Rooms are fine. Good for a family. Water pressure in the shower is poor. Got a rash on my eyelids and under eyes from the chemicals in the pool. It's just too strong, too much. They are swollen, red, itchy, and burn. If you have sensitive skin be careful. Just being in the pool room was irritating my skin. The free cocktails between 5:30-7:30 are a nice treat and the breakfast is good too. Staff is friendly. Beds are comfy.

The breakfast is amazing. They're cooked to order omelettes are the best. They also have more than just beer and wine at their happy hour. They actually have mixed drinks and spirits too! Good size rooms, but one thing is that the air conditioner seems to turn off in the middle of the night some nights.

7

We got lunch at the restaurant. The food was decent. But I think that there was mayo on the Petaluma chicken sandwich even though that was not listed in the ingredients list. The inside of the hotel is made to look like the outside of a hotel. It's actually really neat, and makes the whole hotel feel more communal than most, since you can look down from any floor into the lobby and restaurant. So tje floors are not separated from each other.

The kids love staying here. The cool inside courtyard with Koi ponds are very fun. I love the free happy hour and breakfast. I takes traveling with four kids much more affordable. The rooms we have had have plenty of space with a layout that makes it easy to relax. Some of the rooms have thinner walls that others it seems and conversations can be heard. At our most recent visit it seems they were busier and we had to wait to check in and it seemed like our room was cleaned in a rush and not as thoroughly as I like. I am the type to wipe hotel rooms down before I let the kids touch anything anyway so maybe it is just me. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The glass elevator is a bit slow. It isn't the most modern hotel as far as the some of the decor and furniture. They have a bunch of banquet rooms that I haven't used but seem nice. If you want a family friendly hotel that is in a central location this is a great choice.

We had an amazing stay here. The building is gorgeous, theres no streer noise, the room is very nice and clean, the staff is friendly. We love the bar's happy hour. Some of the guests were kind of noisy one night, but thats the only thing I can complain about.

Unless you're into hanging out in hotel lobbies, the place isn't so bad. It's centrally located in Marin, but it's not a great option if you're thinking a cheap San Francisco alternative. There's plenty of free parking, an indoor pool, bad free wifi, free breakfast (much better than average), a complimentary cocktail hour and updated suites. Once you get beyond what might be the most dated hotel interior, lobby and restaurant ever, it's all good. The rooms are nice, they're clean and as with most Embassy Suites, slightly nicer than your average hotel room.

ROOMS: roomy, clean, ample space, typical Embassy Suites amenities
RESTAURANT: hotel food: neither good nor bad
ROOM SERVICE: we ordered some appetizers and they were delivered promptly to the room...missing silverware and plate service, but the appy's were pretty good
BAR: closes too early but the bartenders are awesome and the selection of wine and spirits is pretty decent
SERVICE: adequate

All in all, there's nothing to complain about. There's also nothing to rave about. Good central location but away from the charming San Rafael downtown area.
