• Improve their environmental performance constantly

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:

- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Nice room although with the double beds a bit tight. Very clean! Breakfast was great but at any given time out of cups, coffee or food. It was only 8:30. Very busy though looks like a baseball tourney. Overall nice stay.

Great value. Most importantly they don't try to screw you with their amenities. Kindly offer breakfast at later hours on weekends and holidays. Rooms are comfy and well furnished. Free snacks. Can't say enough good things.

Stayed here many times.

Nice friendly bar area with a happy hour each day where you get free drinks and snacks.

Good breakfast with chef station making freshly cooked omelettes with your choice of fillings.

Large rooms with living room and bedroom. Tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, two TVs.

I love it here. The suites are comfy and spacious, they almost feel like a tiny home. The staff is helpful and kind. The breakfast has many options to suit most tastes.

This hotel was being refurbished. The little baby was in disarray, the carpet was dirty and people We’re sitting on the couches with their shoes are in their funky feet on the couch. The front desk check in clerk was polite. They charge their guest $18 to park onsite! This is absolutely ridiculous. As a guest in your hotel I should be allowed to park in the parking lot for free. They even charge handicap placard recipients. This is ludicrous. The rooms have been remodeled and are quite nice. The shower and amenities were nice. The price of the room was adequate.

Stayed here last week for only a night. Great location, whole foods and some other restaurants are a short drive away. The bedroom was very nice and spacious. I was also surprised by how comfortable the pillows were. The part that annoyed me though was the breakfast. The coffee was terrible and the breakfast buffet was gross (i.e. fake eggs). Not to be harsh, but I have had better breakfast served in D-fac's in the military. Besides the breakfast, I enjoyed my stay.
Would stay again if in area.

The hotel itself was great. Room was clean, breakfast was good, and very convenient to Great America. Unfortunately, my car was broken into in this parking lot and management provided no assistance with getting me in contact with the local police or showed any concern. I had to walk across to the Marriott to get information. The police stated that that the parking lot experience break ins frequently. You would think there would be security patrolling at night since the hotel receives so many reports.

I was there to deliver children's food to a working mom good brought her kids Along on a trip normally hotels are very ungracious about allowing us to meet their guests. Once the staff determined what I was doing they were as gracious as could be. I like these people they do a good job

decent hotel... but... the hardware on the bedroom door was on backwards. So when, unbeknownst to me, a past guest or housekeeper pushed the lock button on the outside, and I subsequently shut the bedroom door, i was locked in. I called reception and they sent someone right away, but since i had also locked the room to the hallway from the inside, they could not get into the room to let me out. it took 2 hours. if there had been a fire, i would have been dead. be careful.

Almost perfect in every way except pool area wasn't maintained well enough. No towels at the pool both times, and slow to come when requested. Otherwise, the beds, facilities, breakfast, all great. Wish there was some green space nearby to get the kids outside. I'll add the line checking in was LONG but it didn't matter to me because the app checks you in automatically and also works as your door key. Also bad, we PAID for a parking space but the paid lot filled up quickly and we had to park in the back.

Rooms are recently renovated. Good location close to the theme park. Breakfast is good, staff is very friendly. Room service is also good and quick, courteous. Did need to call in for amenities that were missed, and the wifi did not work for us which was a problem.

They are still undergoing a remodel so expect a bit of noise and dust. The new rooms look nice and the large TV was a pleasure. While my most recent experience was not up to my expectations, I think once they finish the remodel and get their kinks worked out it will be a good place.

This hotel, BY FAR, is my favorite hotel! They provide a 2 hour cocktail and snack service in the dining area FOR FREE.... an INDOOR pool, suite rooms ( a separate bedroom from the sitting area, and a DELICIOUS breakfast where you can get made to order omelettes. To top it off, they have phenomenal customer service in ALL depts. I love you guys!!

Hotel is going through renovation right now. 9-5 it's getting really noisy with all the construction works. All double rooms are facing Highway 101 & Exits so I won't call it a quiet place even at night.

On the good side - renovated rooms are good (stayed in one first night), breakfast is good during weekends, business center is easily accessible, staff is willing to help.
On the bad side - noise & dated rooms (both will be fixed by May I think), really intermittent wi-fi connectivity with nobody willing to fix it.

First night was fine. Second evening and night was lousy. Children running up and down the hallway. Talked with parents with no results, then called hotel staff. Still no results. Walls must be thin. Woken up at 4 a.m. by screaming that went on for about 45 minutes. Will stay somewhere else nect year. Also got my car tagged by security for being parked in handicapping parking even though I have handicapped plates.

Beautiful, spacious rooms. Only issue is they were working on the water pipes earlier in the day, and when I went to use the sink, I got attacked (4 times!!) by sudden bursts of water that shot straight out towards my mid-section. (The sinks have those fancy spouts that point straight out -- instead of down -- so the water pours out like a little waterfall.) I was in town for only one night, so didn't bring a lot of clothing... Most of my clothes were soaking wet (along with the floor and the shower door across from the sink)! =/

It is a nice hotel & the suites are nice. I would have liked a better mattress to sleep on. The bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan. The toilet is pretty cool, you have a button for #1 & another for #2. The staff is nice. The best part is the breakfast buffet!!!! You have scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage & bacon, and a person there to make fresh omelets!!!!!!!

Nice layout of the room. Great for a family. But there was gum on the carpet, which they did come clean up when we called, but still...gross. Pretty dated with popcorn ceilings and beat up furniture. Had a nice workout room and nice indoor pool and hot tub.

One of the nicer Embassy Suites in the Bay Area as far as the interior. However, if your children enjoy the Koi ponds as much as ours, they'll be disappointed. Because there is no pond in the lobby. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very close to Levi stadium and Great America.

Nice hotel with a very helpful and friendly staff. I stayed here for a week while doing some training for my job. I actually did have a couple of minor issues with my room. I informed the front desk about them before I left in the morning and when I returned that evening everything had been handled very professionally. I would recommend this hotel, I would stay here again on my next trip out.

We went to my husband's 50 year high school reunion. Atmosphere was great, the dining area was very nice but the food was not so nice. I had chicken. It was over cooked and dry, the rice blend was bland and the vegetables that I had tasted scorched. Everything else was very nice.

Family stay (2 rooms ) with expected service from an Embassy Suites property. BEST: Lobby staff (all of them) who make your stay totally the best . They helped to print my airline passes. IMPROVE: 1) Business center equipments. I could not print my boarding passes due to communication between pc and printers (both). 2) when you stay at 2 different rooms you can compare the rooms: one did not have a desk lamp, bathroom door had no towel hanger.
Overall stay was very satisfactory

Stayed at this hotel multiple times and every time I stay here the staff are polite and my hotel room is clean. I also love that they have a indoor pool to use. During happy hour you can go to the bar area for free drinks or free sodas. Also in the morning they have a selection of hot breakfasts which include scrambled eggs sausage bacon French toast hash browns and they have a waffle maker too. Will stay here again in the future.

This is a nice hotel near the San Jose Airport, shopping, high-end dining and business centers. The property is situated on a side rode with tree-lined streets, that actually sits right off the highway. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. No issues with check-in or check-out and offers the typical Embassy Suites breakfast and happy hour. I would agree with other reviews and stating that the rooms are somewhat dated and are in need of updating, but they were fairly clean and had everything for a decent stay.

Clean room and bathrooms, comfortable beds and pillows, some street noise (not too much to bother), black out curtains, refrigerator and microwave and bar sink, very good breakfast. Breakfast even included miso soup, rice, and condiments (which I've never seen in an Embassy Suites before). The chef working the omelet bar was very nice.

Lost one star for three reasons:

We killed one small bug on the wall the night we arrived (very small, haven't seen any others).

The shower was adjusted to spray full-on out into the bathroom, drenching the person outside the tub when turning it on, and flooding the bathroom. We had to use all our towels to mop up all the water. (Also, they only provided a set of towels for 2 people even though we reserved with 4 people.) The mirror also fogged up and the room turned humid as there is no fan to pull the moisture out.

When they replaced our set of towels at our request, one "clean" washcloth had a brown smear across it. Granted, they might not be able to check every towel and washcloth they wash, but it should have been noticed by the person folding the washcloths before they are sent to rooms. All I could think of was that I had washed my face with a washcloth after taking my contacts out the night before and I wouldn't have seen it if it had been that washcloth. Gross.

Was in a nice location and the Santa Clara square which was nearby was brand new and looked very nice, as it was a short walk from the hotel. Their breakfast is phenomenal, as there is even a custom omelette making bar with a chef to make a delicious omelette and plenty of ingredients for the chef to put into your omelette. Everything was very nice and exceptional, including the fact that they have a fitness center, a pool, and there are shops and restaurants in walking distance. My only complaint would be the pullout sofa bed. The mattress was uncomfortable and had springs sticking out from under the fabric, but this may have only been a problem in our suite, and was fixed easily by placing three blankets underneath the sheets in order to obtain a soft enough bed to sleep on, and the bed in the actual bedroom has a comfortable mattress, just the living room pullout one could definitely be improved. Overall, it was a great option to stay in and was close enough to restaurants and a whole foods. It is also near a theme park which is about five to ten minutes of a drive, but it isn't walking distance. Great experience for the most part!!

My stay here was nice but there are a few things that could have made the stay even better. The TV only has half the channels working and the ones available shouldn't be called premium. Also the water was only warm and temperature control on it just didn't really work.

Maybe a 4 plus. We have stayed at this hotel a number of times so this is an overall review. The evening drinks include good craft beer on the tap. The breakfast is the same as all the Embassy Suites. There are plenty of seats at this location. There is no atrium at this hotel like most of them. I have stayed at over 40 Embassy Suites and this one is in the middle. Of course I selectively choose Embassy Suites when we travel as I sleep only 7 hours a night and my husband likes more. The two rooms are necessary.

We stayed here to attend the Maker Faire in San Mateo. The hotel is sold out. We arrived at 3:15 and our room was not ready. They informed us it would take 5-10 minutes. I didn't complain as these things happen. About 10 minutes later walked over to me with the room key. In addition they gave me a bag full of snacks for the delay. Great service!

Some folks I was traveling with were staying in this hotel. The first night there the hotel was having a reception, a sort of meet and greet with the managing staff. I decided to join in and was quite happy with the ability they were given to humanize and talk to the staff; didn't hurt that there were drinks. I'm definitely going to book here next time I'm in town.

One of Silicon Valley's top rated hotel for a truly enjoyable stay. Beautiful suites, lovely decor, upscale bedding, towels, room service has a great selection. The suite can be compared to a 1 bedroom apartment with a living room tastefully furnished, the huge bedroom is the second room with a nice big comfortable bed. The hotel offers a happy hour free of charge, all you can drink cocktails including a variety of appetizers. The breakfast is not the traditional continental fare. A chef prepares cooked to order omlettes with all the fresh ingredients you can think of. Delicious! Plus the complete selection is vast. Potatoes, french toast, pancakes, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, yogurt, coffee , oatmeal, cereal and a variety of donuts and fruit filled danish. Great, top scale hotel where you feel pampered within the comforts of home.

I have been staying at Embassy suites for years and I haven't stayed in Santa Clara since 1990 so obviously it has changed. The reviews about house keeping are spot on. Dirty mirrors and the tub was so slippery I almost fell when I got into shower. Very disappointed. However the beds are new and very comfortable, pillows were great and staff was very nice and accomodating. I love the cook to order breakfast and this was amazing as well. over all a very pleasant experience. I am a Hilton Honors Gold member and though there were some cleaning issues, I still love Embassy Suites and would stay again.

Stayed here for about a week when visiting my bro over the holidays. It was really a good value. For most of the stay there were just two of us but the suite can accommodate up to 6 comfortably so it's good for families. We got a room with two beds, plus the sofa is a sofa bed. Free made to order breakfast and happy hour is included. There is also an indoor pool area with a hot tub and a small workout room. Both were usually empty the times I went downstairs to use the pool/hot tub at night around 10 pm. Service was great as well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had free WiFi and they waived our parking fee.

Now the negatives. The rooms are a bit old and in need of a remodel. When we first arrived, there was a musty smell. After turning on the central air that mostly went away. The furniture seems a bit old and the carpeting could use a deep cleaning. The last weird quirk was that there were no towel racks in the bathroom. This is especially odd since they placed a card in the room saying to hang up towels you intend to reuse to help conserve water from less towels needing to be laundered. But there is no place to hang up the towels!

Good staff. Nice happy hour for guests. No towel racks, which is weird if they want us to conserve water.

Nice place but rooms could use a renovation. Bar is ok (no bitters ... So no old fashioned). Breakfast is very good. Convenient to the tech companies in the area.

Not a bad place though we had a few issues. When we arrived room seemed clean, but after sitting on the bed for a bit i noticed alot of long, dark brown hair in a clump on the bed cover. Upon further inspection- there was also a man's shirt on the floor next to the TV and a woman's VS leopard print thong on my side of the bed! Wtf!??? This really grossed me out, but everything else looked quite clean so I'm pretty sure that Housekeeping just missed them. . . The surly security guard that came up to bring the replacement bedding was certainly in a rush and no one came to pick up the dirty clothing and bedding until the next day. Complimentary breakfast was good however short. I wish it would stay open until 10am on weekdays. I guess there's not enough demand? Otherwise the rest of the staff was very nice, particularly the lady serving the omelets at breakfast. I was impressed with the workout rooms despite being small they were up to date equipment etc.
Hotel itself is a bit outdated, but i have high standards since I last stayed at Larkspur.

In room iron had rust in it and ruined my dress shirt. They sent it out for cleaning assuring it would be done same day. Was not. Hotel is a good price for the area. You get what you pay for.

The value with the manager reception and breakfast is fantastic. Any parent understand how amazing it is to have A DOOR you can close when staying ina hotel. We love embassy suites and will definitely be back. The only down side is it seems like the breakfasts seem to be shrinking along with the free drinks. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfy. Perfect for traveling families.

3 star rooms. 5 minute drive to Great America and levi's Stadium so not bad there is a daily $15 parking fee which is standard the rooms look better in pictures. Weight room is meh to ok just a few treadmills in what could have been another suite. The pool is nicely set up and staff is willing to accommodate but they won't go out of the way for you either. We wanted an upgrade and you should still pretend to look instead of just blowing me off. I was interested in paying too. The Breakfast haven't experienced it yet but pictures look promising that it comes with free daily breakfast.

Hotel staff are very curtious and friendly and common areas are generally very clean. But the hotel is starting to show its age and wear and could use a refresh / update.

Staff is always friendly. Room was a bit stuffy at first but it was ok after opening a window and turning the air on. The room was great, had everything we needed. Nice that they do continental breakfast and free WiFi.

I loved the breakfast. It was made to order and had lots of healthy and diverse options. The rooms are gorgeous and well kept and the service was great. The gym leaves a lot to be desired esp when it comes to cardiovascular.

Happy hour is two hours every day, 7 days a week. No free soft drinks or water at all.
House keeping doesn't typically come on the 10th floor until after 3pm, sometimes 430-5pm.
Stains all over carpet, first room I had appeared to have a water leak they tried to repair by painting over. Started raining while I was there so ceiling started to fall apart over the top of my bed.
Wifi is terrible, would lost the signal for hours at a time.
Hotel gives you parking pass but does not enforce it. Parking lot is always full from 530 to 730(happy hour)
Ok the weekends this hotel turns into the party house. Elevators smell like marijuana. People openly smoking outside the hotel lobby. The free vending machines on the premium levels will be empty within the first hour.
In the weekends you will hear a lot of nasty stuff from the hallway, yelling and swearing.
If you get a room towards the highway that's all you will hear, all night long. You can also hear everything through the walls. Toilets, water faucets, people closing doors.

For 300 dollars a night this hotel is terrible. If it wasn't for HHHonors I would never consider staying here.

I stay at this location almost every time I am in town for work.

The staff is prompt and courteous, they have a very nice free breakfast, the food at the bar area is very good, they have free wine and beer happy hour during week nights and it is fairly close to a decent amount if restaurants and attractions.

The rooms have always been clean and well cared after and though the gym is on the smaller side I have only rarely had issue getting a treadmill in the morning.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to others staying in the area.

Aside from the nice room (I love having a living room along with the bedroom when I am away for multiple nights). And aside from the fact that they serve really good beer and snacks during Free Happy Hour. The people staffing this hotel are terrific and friendly. But the biggest reason I love this hotel is their honesty and helpfulness. While at the airport awaiting my red-eye flight home I realized I had left my new tablet in the room I checked out of that morning. I called the hotel and was told that they indeed had already placed the tablet in their safe. They took my information and sent it tablet to my home via FedEx - lovely packed to keep it safe during transport.

Special thank you to the very honest and helpful people at this Embassy Suites Hotel. You have become my first choice when visiting Silicon Valley.
