• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

We really enjoyed our stay at Embassy suites, the courtyard was amazing with the feeling of being outside but the comfort of being inside. The staff was very kind and courteous, really nice rooms. The restaurant was great quality and nice selection of meals. I would highly recommend this hotel to any normal person looking for a great comfortable place to stay.

Overall room was nice. Comfortable. Bed was great with extra bedding in the wardrobe. Couch was also a pull out bed for extra sleep space. Furnishings were great. Only complaint was the bathroom was so small. Barley enough room for one adult. Breakfast was nice but some foods were not readily prepared and had to wait in a huge line just for bacon! Waited 20 minutes only to find they had run out and wait another 20 for more to come out already cooked. Bacon was overcooked and disappointing after a long wait.

Very nice, clean rooms, and a great breakfast. It could be a little noisy because of the setup of all the rooms facing into the lobby, but it wasn't that bad. Also, I was in a room facing the highway and it wasn't very loud at all! I loved the made to order breakfast as well. My kids were very energetic from being stuck in a car all day, and the lobby area was a lot of fun for them to explore, and no one minded them acting like children, which sometimes I have run into (the whole children should be seen and not heard thing).

The room itself was great. Dated shower but a very comfortable bed. Excellent, free happy hour snacks. We had late dinner at the bar French fries were great but my burger was way over done. One major problem was the location of my room (448) the left side of the hotel overlooks the interstate and it was extremely loud all night. Will be back in two weeks but will be selective id room location.

The hotel is really lovely and this was a return trip. They offer an amazing "Manager's Reception" in the evening, where snacks like cheese, crackers, chips, salsa, veggies, and dip are provided. They also offer beer and wine. THIS IS ALL FREE!
They also offer a fantastic breakfast. There is a delicious hot buffet, made to order eggs and pancakes, cold cereal and muffins, coffee and juices. ALSO ALL FREE!
The problems arose when not one staff member (including the food and beverage manager) could show me the ingredients in the white bread they were serving. When traveling with my son who has food allergies, I bring his own food. However, he really wanted toast for breakfast. I wanted to see the original packaging so I could see if this bread had a "may contain" warning. No ingredient list could be found as the bread arrived in cellophane packaging with no writing on it. It took 10-20 minutes for the staff even to find the Food and Beverage Manager. It took an additional 10 minutes for him to locate a digital ingredient list on his phone. The bread was safe, but by this time had eaten the food we brought and no longer wanted toast. I was surprised that the Food and Beverage Manager said that being able to offer guests ingredient lists had never crossed his mind. He thanked me for bringing it to his attention. I had, erroneously, assumed that all Embassy Suites would have certain standards in common.
The other problem was that the suite offered a "sleeper sofa" which we intended to use. Well, it was broken. The metal frame was snapped in one spot causing the mattress to sag. I drew the short straw and slept there.

So, if you are traveling with children with food allergies, I would contact them ahead of time, and check all the beds before it is too late to get a new room.

Room setup was nice with a sitting room. But most everything needs to be updated. Breakfast was more like waiting in a line and the food was sub par. The little freezer portion for the mini fridge couldn't keep anything frozen. One of the elevators took 5 minutes to go up 4 floors which was quite strange. But the staff is super friendly and the price is good. Cars on the Thruway can be a bit loud as it is very close. Recommend the Byrne Dairy ice cream sandwiches from the mini shop.

Loved it, embassy continues to be my favorite to stay at. The free guest cocktail hour is always great, and the interior was very nice. The thermostat wasn't working in my room, but other than that it was a perfect experience

Great breakfast! Beautiful layout with a huge interior garden with koi fish. Our room had a king bed in a private room with a lockable door which was great for privacy from the kids who stayed on the sleeper sofa. Pool and hot tub were nice and the fitness room was bright with lots of sunlight. Excellent staff. We will stay here again next time we visit the area!

The location was good for me as it was conveniently very close to my destination the next morning. However, there is not much to do within walking distance from the hotel. The rooms were very clean and all furniture was in good condition. The ambiance of the lobby was nice as there were plants and stream all throughout the main hall. The food was very good, although another individual and myself waited about two hours before we got our food. We eventually took the food to go as we had a meeting shortly after receiving our meals.

Stayed for 3 nights for a bowling tournament in Syracuse. About a 15 minute drive into town. The room looked a little dated but clean. The bed seemed kinda old. But, you get a large room with free breakfast AND happy hour (free booze and finger food). Always stay at an embassy suites if one is available!

Beautiful place to stay. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable. They had a complimentary open bar the evening we were there, as well as a breakfast, and they go above and beyond. Not just your ordinary complimentary foods, a chef was preparing omelets made to order. Very impressed everything. Definitely the place to stay in Syracuse. We will be back.

Love this hotel. The staff is very friendly and quick to accommodate any requests. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great for a free breakfast. There are 'managers receptions' every night with free drinks and food. While I didn't make it to one, it sounded like they were having a blast. The hotel was quiet again before 9 pm. I've stayed in the area several times now and this is my favorite hotel so far.

This has been a lovely hotel. A little bit of a different feel from most, with quite an elaborate lobby and first floor. The restaurant was great, the gym is acceptable, there's a pool with a hot tub and a cute little pool area that is very clean. The one thing that I would have liked was a more up-to-date room, but the room was still nice. The bed was very comfortable, ample space in the suite, and a clean bathroom.

This hotel was very nice. Court yard was beautiful. There were some downfalls. The pool was too cold to use. The hotel was filled with cheerleaders for a competition so it was very loud. The air conditioning in the room was broken. The hotel staff was very accommodating and tried to resolve any issues.

I will not be back at this location. As an Hhonors member I'd expect an update on the change of rules and regulations prior to my stay. I've been here several times and have always been able to have guests come and visit as well as get in the pool. We were NOT having a party (which according to new rules there are no birthday parties, etc). Not to mention there's new hot tub rules? A lot of money for a lot of nothing if my kids can't enjoy their time and family can't come and visit as they have been able to each time I've been here. Needless to say, I'm pretty disappointed in this service.

One night at a suite cost me $140. Great service but bad maintenance and pretty loud. Nice interior but because of the structure of the building, every sound echoes and the rooms are not sound proof. I found bunch of hair on the shower curtain. But they are the only one to offer shuttle service at any time although my driver was 15 min late. Probably would not have stayed here if they did not have the shuttle service.

Room was decent and clean. Staff personable. The layout of the hotel was nice. I liked it. Didn't try the food because it's expensive and reviews on their food are not good. The other issue is windows are facing the thruway. Not great for comfortable sleeping.

My wife and I stayed a night for a Syracuse basketball game, we loved this hotel. Clean, pleasant employees, a real good breakfast (included) and a nice managers special in the early evening including free booze (albeit limited it was nice). The ONLY drawback was seating was tough to find during breakfast and the managers special and if going to a basketball/football game at the dome, it isn't real close. But aside from these minor issues, it was quite nice!

Had a great time, free breakfast was v. good. Room was nice. We had to change rooms after first night. The noise from the atrium was too loud in our room. Front desk was v. accommodating in moving us to the other end of building where it was much quieter. Thanks.

Beautiful hotel! Room service is great and the breakfast tastes amazing! There in-hotel restaurant has a range of foods to choose from and they don't taste that bad (considering it's a hotel restaurant). Would recommend stopping by!

Had a great experience last night. Beds were very comfortable and our room was quiet. The happy hour with free drinks and food was great and complimentary snacks and drinks in our room! The breakfast was great as well with lots of choices and made to order omelettes. Everything was clean and the inner courtyard was very pretty. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is my boyfriend was stuck on the elevator between floors about five minutes and was in a bit of a panic!

Front desk staff is very kind and helpful. Hotel is beautiful inside and very accommodating. The rooms were nice and clean, but the beds were really small. It helped that there was a bed in the sofa, so that everyone was still comfortable and had their own space. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. This is the only hotel I would be comfortable staying during any future stays in Syracuse.

We stayed here with our 3 children for a nearby family party over the weekend. We arrived early on a Friday after an 18 hour drive, and the hotel and staff were awesome in working with us to check in early (noon). They also did a great job at our request with being in adjoining or nearby rooms to other family members. We loved the appearance of the hotel and the rooms, although slightly dated, were overall very nice. The kids loved the pool but it did get very busy there on Saturday night but that was not the problem. The problem we observed was the lack of parental supervision in place with the children that were running wild all over the hotel and pool area! The breakfast that was included was also very good, but again it did get very busy on Sunday morning and staff had a difficult time keeping up with the amount of people that were being served. The problems we observed during breakfast had nothing to do with the hotel or its' staff- it was again lack of parental supervision with young children running all over and making messes at the different beverage and food counters. We also were in line for the buffet line when you enter the breakfast area with about 3 people behind us. We had 2 adults (in their 40's) who had already been eating that came up from their table with their plates and cut right in front of our 12, 9, and 6 year old and started helping themselves to more food. I guess it did not take much to put 2 and 2 together and later learned these were parents of some of the wild kids running around. Anyway, our poor experiences were with other guests and their lack of manners and parental skills. We would for sure stay at this hotel again when we come back to the area.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a nice size, quite spacious and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable, I slept well. Everything was very clean. It has a soothing ambience to it with a gently flowing stream bridges and walkways running the length of the hotel on the main floor. I also enjoyed the complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast in the morning. My only complaint is that the bathroom could have had better lighting. I had a very enjoyable stay. I plan to visit again.

Wish I could give 5 stars. I've stayed here a lot. Like 20 times in the last two years. The rooms are big and a little out dated but nice. However, my last stay I couldn't get my room below 80 degrees. It was in the low 60s outside and I had to open the window and prop the door open to get even a small breeze going in there. Also, for some reason my awesome shuttle driver did not work there any longer. The new lady didn't even get out to offer to help me sort out where to put my bags in the full back of the van. I think the double tree down the road will be getting my business next time.

A place of former grace. This hotel could use better maintance and a some renovations. The center is a beautiful combination of plants, many plastic but some real. The rooms furnishing were very worn. The couch is basically threadbare the arms were worn. The mattress had no support a mushy lumpy mess but the linens were clean. The pool was my biggest concern. With green growths on the stairs and obvious staining on the bottom it has not been maintained at all. To me the filter want not even on as there was a large amount of debris floating in the water. Breakfast was average on par with most but hotels. They did not offer the omelet station they advertise as an embassy experience. Staff was nice. Fire alarm was broken and so was the tub stopper. Room faintly smelled of smoke even tho I booked non smoking. Overall a sub par experience. I would not book again.

Booked the Dinosaur BBQ package and none of the staff even knew what it was. Evening staff told me the the hotel and Hilton Honors knew nothing about the package that they sold me. I have to show the front desk that they do "offer" the package, she then stated she never heard of such a thing. The manager reception was a complete joke. Had the reception in their restaurant which was very small and unable to accommodate the number of guests that attended. Only one bartender working which made getting drinks very slow. Draft beer system was not working properly not to mention the bartender had to walk to the other end of he bar to pour a beer. Kids running around, crying, pushing their way through people. The room was average but being on the north side we had the privilege the hearing the traffic throughout the night. Overall this is the worst Embassy Suites we have very stayed at.

We stayed at the hotel with my in-laws and planned on sleeping on the pull out. Unsurprisingly, it wasn't very comfortable (more likely just from being a pull out) so we ended up sleeping on an air mattress. The room was overall comfortable. Everything was clean and the water pressure was good in the bathroom. The free breakfast was out of a lot but it's hard to complain about free. The hotel was a little dated but overall I would recommend it.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. It had a wonderful atrium and was open inside. The staff was friendly and helpful (and even accommodated my friends and I to give us rooms next to each other). The pool and fitness room were nice. My biggest issue was that breakfast was an hour and a half late and I was unable to eat before my wedding, free alcohol the night before was a fair trade though.

The room was awesome. I loved that it was split into two sections, bedroom and living room. Each had it's own TV. Unfortunately the TV in the bedroom had a horrible signal, so there were limited channels that came in clearly, but the living room was fine. They also had an open bar cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvre that was fun. The food in the restaurant was excellent. All of the staff were very polite and helpful.

It needs to be cleaned better! There was hair in the shower. The pool area is a hot mess! Used towels everywhere no clean towels at all! The staff in the pool area took my seat as I was sitting and said it was theirs! I felt that as a paying guest the least they could do was let me have the seat so I can watch my toddler swim. It was embarrassing to say the least! I really don't think we'll be back here

The staff was great, but refused to enforce certain policies they had in place. The room was fine, except there were lights that didn't work, the televisions restrict usage too much, and things were missing from my room like the hair dryer and staff didn't seem to care. The WiFi was also horrible, I used all my data on my phone just trying to connect to it during my stay.

Great staff, lunch and food was excellent, but conference room was dark and the hotel itself could use some color and interest. It's a really nice place. Extremely nice. The 2 stars come off due to the fact that there were so many non guests, floating around in the pool area. It would seem that there are people who make a habit of sneaking in and swimming. The hot tub was inaccessible, but with the color of the water, I'm not sure that was a bad thing.

Furniture is a little vintage, but everything was great. The people were so nice. Food was good and the lobby was a nice food and entertainment area. Beautiful hotel, very well maintained. Furnishings are modern and up to date. The evening reception is a very nice perk. The cooked to order breakfast was excellent. Really nice atrium area, reminds of something you'd see in the Caribbean. The breakfast bar has good food but is a bit understaffed. It might be because the grill area for omelettes and hot food is too small for the volume of food being ordered. The room is nice and kept clean but the furniture, especially the fold out couch, is a bit ragged. Overall though, a nice hotel.

Very nice environment around the hotel. Too many people crammed into a little area for breakfast and "happy hour" (which gives complimentary drinks), but a good stay overall. Additionally, the rooms were a bit dark, but that's not much of a problem for some.

Decent location. Can't beat breakfast and the evening reception. Wish there were better temperature controls in the room. I get that's it's October, but I'd still like the be able to use AC to cool the room when it gets too hot.

Large rooms. Typical Embassy Suites amenities. Indoor pool. Large Atrium area. Office facilities were nice. Meeting rooms. Free breakfast/dinner. Rooms could be updated. Good location.

Nice place, had 5 rooms for family members recently. After HVAC issues in one room were handled all was good. Very nice staffers. Especially front desk lady from Cleveland. (Sorry, don't remember her name). The property (rooms etc.) is in need of updating. You can tell it was built in the 80s. It looks it in too many places.

Clean and neat accommodations. Great amenities, love the cocktails and finger fiods. Nice scenery. In need of some upgrades to the actual hotel rooms. Microwaves and the sofa beds are at least 20 years old.

Room was great. The comforter had a stain on it but I'm not going to throw a fit about it and we didn't have conditioner but nothing major. The bar service was horrible though. They only had one bartender and she must've been having a bad night, which I get, but you should still treat your patrons with respect and not be huffy and not tell them what you offer nor offer a drink menu. There were also a ton of children running through the halls and lobby unattended despite the numerous signs in the room and throughout halls and lobby about 18 and under needing to be accompanied by adult at all times. Morning breakfast was okay but they ran out of both carffes of coffee and only had decaf, it was never refilled while we ate so we made our coffee in the room.

All in all, it was decent, I would return but for the price, I would of like some things payed more attention too.

Loved the evening reception and complimentary breakfast associated with the package for our room. Appreciated the complimentary snacks and drinks also made available. The pool was full of children and that made it hard to enjoy. The facilities otherwise were really beautiful. The room should have been more thoroughly inspected after cleaning since it met most basic standards, but I feel that the suite we were in should have lined up to a higher standard.

Such a great experience staying here. Great people at the counter, great room service and super breakfast. Super clean rooms. I just love the indoor garden. The ambiance of this hotel is second to non.

The location was a little difficult to find on a dead end street next to the thru way! The rooms were very nice and spacious but the staff and service were the defining characteristics, they were amazing, courteous, and and friendly. Keep up the good work !

Good stay. Nice rooms, good decor, great breakfast and evening drink reception. dinner was subpar though. I will definitely try restaurants nearby instead of the inhouse grille

A nice hotel in a good location, the Embassy Suites in Syracuse is above average in accommodations. Free breakfast made to order in the morning, and complimentary cocktails at night were very nice. However, the room was right next to a service area that was active (and LOUD) all hours of the night.

This is a beautiful top notch hotel. Gorgeous indoor garden with fish ponds. Lovely atmosphere. Upscale modern restaurant but reasonable prices. Amazing made to order breakfast, included in cost of the room. Well maintained and managed. Definitely choose this hotel!
