ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed

• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Not too happy with this location. Rooms too small and in need of an upgrade very badly. They don't have valet parking but charge $10.00 for parking. No queen size bed either. Only full size beds or King size bed. Even the carpet looked worn. Real small space too. It was my birthday and I wanted to feel like a queen. In the past Embassy suites use to make me feel so special. And worth the $300.00 but this time it didn't give me that sense. I'm not use to that. So I did not want to pay the price.
The total for two full size beds was around $300.00 night.
When I said to the staff I wasn't satisfied the representative said she wasn't sure if I would get my money back at all. She said because it was a cancellation and she couldn't make that decision. I was afraid that they wouldn't give me anything back or take half. And she said she just couldnt tell me anything about that end. And they could make the decision to not give anything back to me. That corporate would let me know. So, I called corporate office they put me back to the main office and the manager then told the representative to give me my money back. I was grateful for that because my daughter got me the room for a birthday gift. I would have felt so bad for her to have lost her $300.00 bucks. Thank God they were willing to return the money.

We have been staying here for 20+ years now. It's a little dated but, the rooms are always clean and the beds are comfortable and the amenities are on point! I can't say enough about the customer service here. They are always there if any concerns arise and promptly take care of it. Love this place!

This is a great place if you have kids. Friendly employees, cool setup inside. The rooms aren't brand new but they have enough space for luggage and 2 tvs. I have stayed here more than once and the location to Busch Gardens is close. Happy times. The restaurant is cool also. Has a nice feel with the glass elevators.

This place is a dump. Good staff but overall not at all happy with stay. For the money spent it was a total rip-off in my opinion. Only 2 of 3 elevators were working and the hotel was packed-although the noise in the room was minimal so I commend then for that. You can stay across the street at Home 2 (another Hilton property) for same money or less and have a much better experience in my mind. Won't stay here again.

Rooms are really nice with a large, mini fridge, microwave and coffee market. Staff is very personable and helpful. Managers reception with a free drink and breakfast included is awesome. Avoid the eggs and get a fresh made omelet.

Great place, if you're looking for a hotel close to Busch Gardens or just need to be close to Southern Florida University the system place to stay. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning is amazing all the food was prepared properly and staff kept the area clean. We also ordered some room service and all the food that we had was great and prepared at a very reasonable price. The Embassy Suites at South Florida University Research Park is definitely a place to check out.

I just want to talk about my man Karim who has been the highlight of my stay. He was my shuttle driver to and from a mall nearby because of something I forgot at home. The beds are nice and soft, the showers are warm, the whole anesthetic is great. Again a shout out to Karim though, he is an awesome guy and he and me were able to talk like we were our friends right off the bat. If you ever have the chance to talk to Karim or interact with him, it'll be your pleasure

my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in August 2017. We live in North Florida and entered treatment at Moffitt Cancer center. Our family has been here for ten months. We stayed at Embassy Suites Spectrum. The front staff including but not limited to Damien, Wendy, Heaven, Dining and bar staff Mary, Kristine, Jeff,Adam, Gabriel. are our new family.
Upon our arrival weekly they greeted us by name, asked "How is Mom" prepared our drinks and food without asking even giving us our own table at Oak Tree.
We have fought hard and long but monday we will take mom home to hospice. Damien and his staff, upon hearing this hugged us and sent us a gift.

Embassy Suites Corp. These people have made your company great! Thank You

To Whom it May Concern,
I just wanted to take a moment to highlight the wonderful people in a variety of capacities at this particular hotel. From the front desk clerks, to the bellmen/drivers, to the restaurant and breakfast staff, to the housecleaning staff- all have the best attitudes, manners, and show genuine care and concern for their guests. Let me provide you with just a few examples.

My one friend has been receiving cancer treatment at the Moffitt Cancer Center. The front desk clerks do everything within their power and ability to give her a smile, show her genuine affection, and try to make each of her days easier and better overall by their accommodating for her needs.

The bell/shuttle drivers are friendly and helpful and show sincere concern for her well-being each and every time they take her to and pick her up from her treatments. On the occasions when my friend has needed assistance due to weakness from her treatments, they are gracious in assisting her without making her feel diminished because she needed a little extra help.

The breakfast buffet and restaurant staff too show authentic care and concern for my friend and other guests. They are ready to offer assistance with drink or carrying food to her table, modifying a menu item to meet her specific dietary restrictions, and never act “put out” because she has these special needs. They are cheerful, pleasant, and ask about her health and if there is anything they can do to be of further assistance.

What I really want you to know is that it is not just the level of service and hospitality displayed at this hotel, but the heart and attitude shown to all who enter. I have stayed at many hotels in the Hilton as well as Marriott chains and have rarely, if ever, seen such a feeling of welcoming home to guests.

I have seen disabled veterans enter the hotel on Sunday night feeling weary and displaying a negative attitude about their road ahead, and by the middle of their week they are smiling, laughing, and socializing with other guests - only some of whom are veterans as well. When I have made comments to these men and women noting their attitude change, their responses point not to the treatment received at the VA, but rather the lack of struggles made possible by the Embassy staff and the genuine care displayed by the staff with whom they have interacted.

I wish to commend your staff for their sincerity and genuineness with which they interact with hotel guests-both healthy and treatment bound! Thank you!

I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel. Extremely convenient to USF and quiet. I heard zero noise all night. Hotel is amazing and close to USF and Busch Gardens. Went to breakfast and was greeted by the nicest employee you could ask for.. GABRIEL (Breakfast Attendant) is a gem at this place. He is a sincere person that cares about Guest Experience (and he is from Georgia). Embassy is blessed to have such an awesome person that will visit your table and make you feel at home.. Worth the stay, just to meet him. 5 Stars all day!!

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

We only stayed for one night, but this hotel is very beautiful! We arrived at about 10:30pm and were given a coupon (because we missed the evening reception) for one drink each. The bartender was super nice and accommodating to my request of just Orange juice. The room was very clean, and cool and the staff were very nice! We even got a text to make sure our room was okay. The breakfast was delicious with a large spread! We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Nice hotel. good staff, pleasant rooms and the restaurant bar is pretty decent. Stayed there previously and it was quite nice.
In spite of quirks in the checkin process. $9 for parking and $25 a day for "incidentals" (refunded if you don't use it) it was pleasant and enjoyable to stay in.

This is a very nice hotel. The staff here has been very friendly and helpful, and the room is clean. The free drink (beer, wine, & liquor) happy (two) hour is great! We ate at the in house restaurant, the food was very good, and you got a big serving for a reasonable price. They provide a free shuttle to/from Busch Gardens (the reason for our visit) & the surrounding area, and our drivers were friendly. I will definitely come back here.

I had a good experience at this hotel for a two night stay. I liked the staff, and everything was in order and ready when I got there. A perk I wasn't aware of was the free drinks during happy hour (530-730(?)) so that was cool. The breakfast was adequate. Standard hotel breakfast food with custom made to order omelettes as a nice perk. You do save money if you sign up for the hhonors program during/before booking or using a discount like AAA. It's definitely way out of my normal price range but for a work trip, I can't complain a about the quality.

So far, the staff has been very nice. Rooms are a little dated, but functional. Was able to purchase ride passes for Busch Gardens from the front desk at a better rate than the holiday price at the park. Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly even at the close of the breakfast buffet. Only hickup has been the snack tray that we purchased for the room. The staff keeps forgetting it, so we have to call down for it. Other than that, the stay as been great.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Embassy at USF. It was incredible. We stayed in a premium suite and really appreciated the snacks that were left for us. The front desk was amazing and held our stroller so we didn't have to lug it up the elevator. The shuttle driver, Will, was great. Amazing service. He was prompt and courteous and even offered us water after a long day at Busch Gardens. It's more expensive than other hotels in the area but is by far our favorite in the USF/Busch Gardens area. At one point we had some very sprited neighbors but the Front desk held them to the standard of the quiet time rules.

Our stay at this hotel was pleasant and met our expectation. From the personalized breakfast to evening reception and shuttle service to Busch Gardens we think it’s worth the extra in price compared to neighboring hotels. Room cleanliness was a 5. We did not give this hotel 5 stars because it could use a bit of update in the pool area, for example the pool could be heated and a waterfall would be a great addition to the jacuzzi.

This Tampa location was fabulous! Very clean and any staff I met with was very respectful and curtious. I dis not stay as a guest at the hotel but I did have some friends staying and when we went to their room it was very nice. If I didn't lice so close or had any reason to stay in a nearby hotel I would choose this location.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Plenty of parking but you will have to pay for it. Lots of families since it's so close to Busch gardens. Breakfast was always good and the atrium setup let in a lot of light. The room was satisfactory, but couldn't seem to get the AC to get a specific temperature no matter what we left the temperature on. Staff was very helpful and polite. Also don't forget about free drinks between 5:30-7:30 pm every night.

I love this hotel. The only place I stay everytime I visit Busch Gardens. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The rooms are spacious. They provide happy hour drinks and free buffet breakfast with a chef. My last stay I had a problem where a waitress randomly threw silverware on my table while I was eating and walked away. I'm not sure why that happened. I complained and she apologized but that still left me confused. My room also had a running bathtub faucet that u could hear all night. Other than that this is one of the best hotels in Tampa. I recommend to all my friends and family when visiting the theme park as they provide free shuttle service.

Our first room had a broken fridge and broken AC but we got a new room quickly and everything was in working order, it was just a pain to repack and move a family of 6. The rooms are large with a great setup. The front staff and the morning buffet staff are superb, helpful and friendly. The cook to order breakfast excellent and easily saves us $60 a day. The shuttle on demand is so convenient and takes us to and from the parks quickly as well as saved us over $100 in parking fees for the week. We love this hotel and expect to stay again.

Our home a/c broke, so we had to get a hotel for a few days. We have an infant who regularly takes naps, so having a suite is important to us. So we decided to try the Embassy Suites at USF.

Our room (335) was in rough shape. There were stains on the dining room chairs, the bathroom floor had busted tiles, and the room looked very dated. It's definitely in need of updating. The room had a very "tired" feel to it.

The good news was that our beds were clean and comfortable, and our family had enough space. The exterior of the building is still nice and well kept. Also, the cooked to order breakfast was very good.

I don't think I would recommend staying at the USF Embassy Suites, unless it goes under a serious interior renovation.

This is going to be lengthy but thorough. We went for our annual Busch Gardens trip. We have stayed here each time and had no complaints.
The weekend we went, there were three family reunions and a Hindu wedding. The staff was great all around. Anytime we had to deal with the staff it was a pleasant experience. The views around the hotel and location are equally as impressive. The hotel rooms? Not so much. That is where I will begin.
Check in was great we had an early Check in, room wasn't ready but she called when it was which was great.
The room looks like a 1980's super 8. They still have not updated this place only now it is really beginning to show, horribly. The carpet looks as if it has gone through a time. The bathroom is so old the shower walls appear dingy, there is mold and broken tiles everywhere. Bring shower shoes.

After a long day at the park we all were in need of hot showers. We got showers not the hot part. In addition, the tub and bathroom did not clean. I assume try were but the wear and tear over the years has taken its toll.

The A.C. in the main room worked but not the bedroom.

Maintenance engineers came the following day to check both out and of course everything was great... to them but as a Hilton platinum member we have stayed at enough hotels to know this was not normal. We laughed it off to the occupancy of the hotel and went to the park a second day. Upon our return we found the water was again Luke warm. In comparison, the water at the park was warmer.

Breakfast was good as always but I am not sure why this hotel does not cook their own pancakes to order. These were awful but as a coach I recognized them right away and knew them to be the small microwavable ones. Other than that no suggestions.

Checkout was easy. We will always lol to stay at Hilton properties but may be relocating across the street to the Home 2 suites they are building instead if changes are not made.

Been here a few times and enjoyed my stay each time. There is a small pool, a fitness center, along with a small arcade.
Plenty of spaces to rent for pretty much any occasion or meeting. In-house restaurant and bar. Coin laundry and ATM inside.
Small store for your forgetables.
The only inconvenience I ever had was a stained sheet on my bed. Kind of gross but was taken care of ASAP.

We had a great vacation here , there were some problems with our room but the hotel staff responded quickly , even upgraded our room to a premium suite. Free, hot made to order breakfast, free evening reception with an open bar. The staff was awesome, incredibly friendly , the young men at the bell desk knew everything that was going on in the area and how to get to them . I Highly recomend Embassy suites!

In need of some serious updating (April 2017 stay). Great location for access to USF and Busch Gardens. Breakfast was good. However, don't go to the restaurant for dinner. We waited around for 60 minutes for our meals, and finally left and ordered pizza to the room.

The main ball room is luxuriously spacious with the most extravagant decoration. There was many staff members and servers to quietly observe for any assistance. The drive was simple enough and shows the neat landscape of the campus.

Wonderful place to stay. Breakfast buffet was very good. Did not make cocktail hour though.

Unless you're going to USF or Busch Gardens do not stay here!! It is not near any beaches or any other destinations that this area is known for unless you feel like driving and sitting in traffic for awhile. Additionally the neighborhood is sketchy at night. It's bad when an Uber driver says he won't do pickups out here it gets so bad. The dining options are limited to chains mostly. The rooms are outdated and smell of cigarette smoke. The walls are paper thin which is spectacular when there's a crying baby in the room next door. For this being an Embassy Suite it's very poor grade for the standard Embassy Suite standard. Book elsewhere!!

Embassy Suites was a nice, clean hotel. We went for a Bridal Expo so we remained in the conference area and ballroom but was clean. Bathrooms well kept.

The stay was comfy. The check in was a little hard because I came in for a conference. There was some confusion at the desk. Free breakfast was delicious. Wait staff was awesome. VERY friendly. I did have a yeti cup go missing from my room. I hope they find it and give me a call.

Am here for a conference. You would think that they would have anticipated the volume of guests and planned a little better. It's 4:30 and my room STILL isn't ready from a 4:00 check in time. Very poor front desk service. Also, how does a convention center not have free Wifi??? The only saving grace was Melissa in the bar!! She was wonderful.

Great place to stay!
Top notch staff that caters to your every need, also great food and amenities. You can't go wrong with this hotel. The shuttle takes you within 3 miles for free which means all the great attractions around the hotel like... Busch Gardens, Adventure Island & Yuengling Brewery Tour is a free ride you can't beat that when parking is $24 at the parks! You get a free full buffet breakfast W/omelettes and mangers reception in the evening. You can't beat the value of a Embassy Suites by Hilton and this one ranks at the top for me!

They have very friendly staff and it is really clean. The afternoon reception is nice but other embassy suites offer a higher quality alcohol and the food here was only cold appetizer rather then also having a hot option.

We loved our room and the general feeling of the hotel, but some of the details could be improved (shower drainage, quality of the breakfast, etc.)

It's a very nice place to stay at. Great service. I stayed here back in March for one night with those that came with me from UNF so that we could partake in the undergraduate research conference at USC. The only downside is that the alcohol here is way overpriced.

Rooms are always clean and well maintained. Love that they do an open bar for hotel guests. Their breakfast is unlike any other hotel I've stayed at before, complete with omelet station and an extensive choice of breakfast items. Staff is always kind and very accommodating. Would strongly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area on business.

Courteous staff, Nice breakfast, conveniently located, close to University. Room condition isn't the best, my room was missing ironing board and they never delivered it despite the promises.

They let us choose our room, which was really cool. We chose top floor and the room was very comfortable. The service was great, I asked for a towel and received 3. The breakfast was quality also.

The staff is friendly and the rooms were clean. As a HHonors member, WiFi was free and easy to configure. However, Internet speeds in the room was abysmal and wired Ethernet did not work. There is a decent complimentary breakfast bar with a omelette station. For happy hour, there is also a small bar and daily specials for the surrounding restaurants.

The special attention we received from Leslie was over the top. 3 weeks later and it is still in conversation about what a great start to our vacation we had at the Embassy Suites. I will as she did go out of my way to make sure it be known it was appreciated.

The hotel was very run down an old. While the staff are very hospitable the hotel rooms are in need of some renovation. The linens smell very musty and old, the bathroom tile looks like it hasn't been changed since 1950 along with the outdated wall paper throughout the room. The breakfast was not that good at all.

I've stayed here a few times, and recently wanted to get a $200 gift certificate. The office seems very confused. Apparently they don't sell gift certificates is what I was told, then I was told they "of course we sell gift certificates" but that a sales person would have to call me. I never received a call. The management and office staff seems a little confused. I'm leaving a lot of other information out (like the 4 phone calls and 2 stop ins) So needless to say, I have to come up with a gift idea very fast, as I thought I would have had a sales person call me to purchase a gift certificate by now.
As far as the hotel, I would give it a 4 star, and as far as office communication/management. 1 star So, 2 1/2 star rating.

I stay here often when in Tampa visiting the VA Hospital. Nice facility. Rooms are always Clean and Maintained. Breakfast is comes with your stay and is well put together. Fresh omelets and eggs to order and a buffet with too much to list.

The staff is The best of any other places i tried. Everyone is nice, polite and a smile on their face. Current Management has done a fantastic job making his staff happy and smiles spread. From the service staff in the lobby to the ladies cleaning rooms, everyone I see works hard to assist visitors and all take pride in their jobs.

The shuttle service makes it easy. The drivers usually know anywhere where I want to go. Very Convenient I get to my doctor appointments without any hassle while my friends go to the museums or amusement parks.
