Very easy surface parking, and the renovations are done, so the inside is nice, clean, and new. Due to corona restrictions, they weren't serving breakfast in the morning, but they gave me a granola bar & coffee from the little snack station that they have instead. Parking is very easy, and there are both a Chick-fil-a & Chipotle in the adjacent shopping center, so plenty of food options.

Directly across the street from a metro stop, too. Few minute drive from the beltway & Dulles toll road.

We had an amazing stay. They were able to accommodate us without a reservation. Our suites was very modern. Free breakfast eggs any way you like, oatmeal, different juices, milks,an assortment of breads, etc. the size of the dinning room is very accommodating for a great number of guests. Free happy hour, a variety of drinks are served. Customer services was amazing.Tyson’s corner mall is within walking distance. Silver line accessible, Spring Hill metro stop.

This hotel was very nice. I only paid $77 a night and it was better than I expected. The front desk was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and fresh. Well stocked with plenty of towels. I would recommend putting an extra blanket in there. Of course, the breakfast was awesome. Who doesn't love fresh omelettes?! The pool area was nice. Kind of sad that the hot tub is gone. We stayed on the 8th floor and we're kind of surprised that we could hear road noise. But other than that, the hallway was quiet and I never heard my neighbors.

Stayed overnight for a work meeting in the area. The staff was extremely nice and the rooms were very clean. We loved how our room had the bedroom separated from the main room so if we had our kida with us we each have totally separate areas. Would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family and definitely will be returning.

Always a nice quick getaway! Been coming here for years. Love the new upgrades! Room service I cannot get enough of!! Clean, friendly and convenient. DC is around the corner. The new metro is right across the street. Cool for couples, families and groups. Free breakfast with made to order omelettes makes the stay even more worth it!

I really like Embassy Suites. Every time I stay here, I have not been disappointed. First, the rooms are always in perfect condition. I like the suite as it gives me more room, doesn't feel like a small cramped room.

In thus case at Tysons Corner, VA. I checked in and in my room in ten minutes. The front desk personal were nice, helpful and alert. It was a very late check in. The main room had a single king size bed. It was only myself in the room. The both rooms were ckeN and fresh. The A/C was on and the room was comfortably cool. It gad been a hot and humid day.

The bathroom for this room was on the small size, but then again, you don't sleep in the bathroom. All the fixtures were modern, up to date and clean.

There were 2 65" wide screen TVs. One vintage front room and the second in the bedroom. It has the usual assortment of TV channels.

In the morning, free breakfast. It has a cook to order station, plus the usual buffet items.. bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes, juices, coffee, tea and soda. Plenty to fill up on.

All in all, a great stay at this hotel. When in the area I will stay here again.

The Embassy Suites at Tysons Corners is a nicely updated modern suite hotel that appears to be pretty well run. The room feels spacious and contemporary with soft warm decor and lovely views of the surrounding area. The internal atrium is a pleasant place to hang out during the free breakfast or evening snacks and the bar has a decent selection of drinks for a hotel bar. Plenty of parking as well, though it's not free. The desk service is prompt and happy to solve any issues. All around it certainly met all of my expectations for a business hotel trip. We will be heading here again for all of our future trips to the area.

The lobby was extremely hot. It was 75 degrees and it was 90 outside. The bedroom didn't have a very big air vent so it didn't get cold enough. We had to sleep on the couch. The pull out bed on the couch was more comfortable than my bed at home though. It wasn't a very fancy hotel. They didn't have wine bottle openers and when I asked the front desk they said IDK ask the bar. The front desk girl that checked us out and in was wonderful though. Very nice and professional.

Remodel is wonderful hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast does not meet the standard of other embassy suites I have stayed at. The breakfast is not bad however, just not as good as I have experienced before. For example the potato's were cold and rubbery not crisp and hot as I have had before. Overall though a great stay

Love Embassy Suites and this one has just been remodeled so it is very nice. The bar is in a central location so makes for a great Happy Hour. The new breakfast area is lovely and pretty sure the gym was reopened though I didn't have time to use it. Great job on the rooms and decor. Great service.

This is a centrally located hotel in Tysons, just a short walk from the Spring Hill Metro station. It features the standard layout for this chain of multiple floors of rooms arranged around a central lobby area. That area was under considerable refurbishment during our stay and wasn't usable. As a result breakfast was a little tight and the bar had been temporarily moved into a conference room (filled with stained, dirty chairs). Service also seemed a little off at this location as our room wasn't made up after the first night and if I hadn't called to request service I doubt it would have been made up after the second night. Parking is $10 with unlimited reentry. The quality of breakfast is decent, a little less than I expected and there was little labeling of menu items.

Was disappointed pool and gym were under renovation and not usable. There was no mention of it on the hotel website. Power went out for about 20 minutes and was restored. Staff are friendly. Breakfast and dinner are great. Shuttle takes you to Metro, nearby restaurants, and Tysons Corner Mall. Renovations will be done by end of the month

I love the fact that they are renovating the hotel. The rooms look great! Even with construction, the noise level is not bad at all.

One concern:
I do not understand why they put the gates down to enter and exit when they do not work properly. The off site call center button does not work when you push it & my key NEVER works to exit. I would have to call the front desk in order for them to open the gates; it is inconvenient (Just leave it open or get it fixed!).

Hotel is under a big renovation and the pool was closed. One working elevator and it was slow. Rooms were clean and nice. No vending machines or place to buy basic necessities. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the nightly happy hour.

This place is under construction. Was there for a 3 week training. There is no gym or pool at the moment. However they arranged it so you can use the gym down the street. In the 3 weeks a lot of progress was made so it's good to check in about the pool. You may want to request a lower floor since there is only one working elevator and is a bit slow during busy hours.
As for the rooms, I would not call this a kitchen. It's a microwave, sink, coffee maker, and tiny square fridge all stacked on top of one another. The fridge is a weird configuration and can barely fit a doggy bag with your leftovers.

Under major renovation; business & fitness room, gift shop & even the main lobby are all closed during construction. Made to order omelette can be good depending who makes it, hit n miss. Credit card number got high jacked during 2 nite stay. Hotel cyber security was probably compromised during renovation as registration area is temporarily located in a hallway. Open atrium looks good in photos but is a noisy echo chamber due to constant door slams and poorly ventilated for construction dust. Staff friendly; convenient location to Spring Hill 🚇 station (7 min walk) & 35-40 min train to DC. Hopefully much better after renovation completed. In the mean time, rates should be generously discounted because hotel amenities are not available due to construction.

Hey it's an Embassy Suites what do you expect? The room service was good and quick which is what was important. The breakfast was too standard custom-order buffet that you get at an embassy suite. There's a lot of construction going on in the early 2018 time frame looks like it would be really nice once it gets done but be aware about half the floors are closed and there are major partitions moving around in the lobby overall positive

Dust bowl, my eyes are swollen as a reaction to the dust. My breathing is raspy from the cold, dry dusty air. They are in the middle of a major renovation and construction project. Sewer pipes are exposed and the odor is evident. The redemption of it all is the awesome staff. I love their over the top friendly demeanor! This spot will be great, but I felt they needed to have some air purifiers in place, and staff cleaning up the dust daily.

Ali the Night Auditor was a true customer service marvel. I had conflicting travel data and he made a potentially horrific experience quite pleasant! I knew about the construction before arriving. So I was prepared. The staff tried to minimize the inconvience. But you really needed to have more than one stairway to the lobby in the event of an emergency. Fortunately everyone got out when the fire alarm went off at 6:15 a.m. you needed a person tell us when to return to the building. A little organization would soften the inconvenience. Food was tasty. Needed more sneeze covers over the food. Omelets were delicious. Cook staff had great attitudes.

I've stayed here 3 times now on trips to the Capital Region. All three stays have been hassle free and enjoyable. Rates are pretty reasonable. The expansion of the silver Metro line has made the location incredibly convenient. It's about a 5 minute walk to the Spring Hill station. Rooms when I stayed were a *little* outdated compared to more modern hotels, but from reviews below it seems like they are on the process of updating them... That said, the beds were comfortable. Pool and Hot tub were an added bonus. Complimentary breakfast was slightly better than you would expect, with made-to-order omlettes. Complimentary drinks are served in the evening in the bar area in the center of the hotel (which has a very cool layout) and the food ordered at the bar (crab cakes) was also pretty good for hotel food. Sure, the location means a 20-30 minute subway ride into the City, but it's worth it for the affordable rates, good service, and on-site parking.

We stayed there 01/19 & 01/20. The hotel has the potential to be a really nice place, but I was disappointed by my experience. First, prior to booking our rooms, we were told there would be no $25/night/room fee for incidentals by Roxy at the corporate office. We planned activities using the money we'd save on that fee. When we arrived, we were charged the fee and after driving 5 hours to get there, it wasn't like we could just turn back. The front desk staff (including a manager) were not helpful at all. The "best they could do" was offer me a rewards membership with 5,000 points. They never followed through on that, not that I wanted that anyway - I don't go away often enough for that to be worth anything to me. Although the fee they charged is refunded on checkout (I still don't have it back yet), that does me no good and some of my activities were canceled. The room was decent enough - clean. Very outdated (but I guess that's why they're remodeling). Although one room didn't have a bath tub - just a walk-in shower. We were told both had tubs. They provide breakfast, but this is made unappealing by the fact that the service people wait for you to finish and quickly walk up and go, "Garbage?" because they're in a rush to get done. I found that rude and unprofessional. In the same vein, I had a housekeeper come into my room (in spite of the "do not disturb" sign on the door) right as I was taking a bath. I was glad I'd thought to lock the bathroom door (normally I don't).

Pros:
Proximity to Metro stations.
Happy hour from 5:30-7:30 every night - complimentary drinks & snacks.
Indoor Pool & Hot Tub

Cons:
Outdated Rooms
Under construction - one working elevator & messy appearance
Website doesn't give accurate information.
Guest Information binders in rooms are inaccurate - we were told we couldn't use the pool/hot tub b/c there was no lifeguard on duty but the binder stated that the pool was swim-at-your-own-risk as there wasn't a lifeguard.
Poor customer service by front desk and manager - both front desk people we dealt with were standoffish and I don't feel like they took my concerns seriously.

Overall, I'm not happy with my stay. I probably would not stay here again.

This review is being posted as the Embassy Suites is under complete construction/renovation. The review would be 5 stars if the work was complete. This hotel is wonderfully located nearby the metro, which gets you anywhere you need to go in the DC area. The Tysons malls are also very close and can be easily walked to. Many restaurants and shops can be found nearby. I will not comment on the room itself as it is the old style being removed. But they are clean and very much make you feel like you are staying at a home rather than a hotel. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast/happy hour area are very pleasant to sit at before/after your day. Highly recommended.

This hotel is going through a renovation. We stayed Christmas eve and Christmas. The room was clean, ample space. Thermostat definitely work to the fullest. Loved the pressure of the showerhead! Unfortunately they were quite skimpy with the snacks but the cocktails were decent. I will say this! The free breakfast was amazing! The cooked to order omelettes you'll come back for 2nds! Once renovated I will be back

Good location. Good Service. Nice breakfast. Parking s complementary, normally it is $10 per day. Room was spacious; however, not like Embassy Suites. Everything in the room was old work scratches. Rooms are not sound proof. Ib could hear water running in bathroom next room. Place is to going through renovation so it it is very noisy, dusty, and congested now. Hopefully things will change. I will go back and stay in this hotel.

This hotel is nice, however, because they're under renovation it's lacking but only a bit. This does not hinder the service or the Free Breakfast! I'm sure they'll be way better once renovations are done. As of right now, there's only 1 main elevator and it can take a while. But we were never in much of a rush so we didn't mind.

Wow...what a fantastic hotel. Free breakfast was wonderfully prepared with lots of variety. Comfortable and spacious suite. Clean and neat living space. This very dated Embassy Suites is currently undergoing a large renovation. The website does not alert you to this. If you are an allergy sufferer you will likely feel the effects of construction and dust. During our stay construction began much earlier than the posted time, which was frustrating on a Saturday. The furniture in the common areas is dirty and stained. Lighting is poor. The room was clean, however. The check in process was slow and desk staff appeared to not be very knowledgeable. This is not one of the better Embassy Suites i have visited.

I've stayed at better Embassy Suites. Granted I tried a different room, corner room on top floor, for the standing shower and it was definitely not worth it. AC was stupid loud and literally turned on and off every 5min. And room was much smaller. Breakfast wasn't as good as I remembered it to be. Next time I stay at an Embassy it will be a regular room for sure on a lower level. The personnel however were great and had a smile every time I saw them. Only wish parking were free...

The hotel is beautiful and spotless through out the rooms are spacious and very nicely furnished and decorated, and the hotel is right in the middle of the city which is convenient, the only drawback is.some of the front desk staff could use a training day on their customer service abilities. But don't let that stop you, the breakfast, which is complimemtry, was incredible. Hands down the best hotel in the area

Abit old but good and clean otherwise. Elevator is pretty slow and there is only 2 of them for 8 floors. I got very spacious room, bigger than my apartment when I was in Brooklyn. Nice staff. Staff is welcoming at all hours...including a stray black cat roaming the grounds around the hotel. Wonderful and well-managed and maintained complimentary breakfast (including fresh grapefruit halves). Clean comfy bed, although adjoining room furnishings are dated and worn. The climate control is uneven, the bedroom warmer than sitting room. Clean and working microwave and mini fridge. Weird pool hours: 4-10pm. Location is great if attending Wolf Trap venue...

Great happy hour/welcome service with 2 drinks and fresh snacks! We had some fresh sangria and we're provided pita with hummus, fresh cut veggies with an avocado ranch, pretzels, and also goldfish snacks. The breakfast spread was wonderful although the scrambled eggs were not as good as the eggs from the omlet bar. The room was comfortable and included a small seating area with a desk and also a mini fridge. The location was great, only a few blocks down from the Spring Hill metro station along the Silver line. It was only a couple of minutes to walk to from the hotel.

Great Embassy Suites. Great breakfast and happy hour. Would have been five stars if it weren't the fact that they charge you $10 per day for parking (my guess is due to the new Metro stop nearby. Also, I asked for a feather free room. I called two hours before arriving to remind them. They said they were changing them out when I called. Then at check in they said it had not been done. Really?!?! Sigh....

Typical four star. Rooms facing main highway subject to road and Metro noise. Note that the Metro is far quieter than NYC Subways. Room was tidy and clean upon arrival. Ultra-violet light did not reveal any unclean areas. Stairwell smells if cigarette smoke during daylight hours which hints at missing it defective smoke alarms. Stairwell floor control valves for fire suppression appear to have been last inspected in 2013. Most annoying was riding the elevator during prime hours with a large rolling trash bin full if rotting garbage. There is a freight elevator available. There is a shuttle available to get to the Metro.

I love staying at Embassy Suites generally. The staff here was very helpful and the breakfast - as always - was the best of any chain. However the hotel is dated. WiFi worked in living area but not bedroom. Decor needs updating. You shouldn't have to pay $10 for parking. The shower leaked and the bathroom was small. In the future I'll stay in a different Tysons Corner Hilton Family hotel.

The rooms only have one bed and a pullout couch, but it's not bad. The view honestly isn't great as you're surrounded by freeways and fast food stores and... that's about it. The free breakfast is just fine. One gripe I have is that this branches "theme" seems to be a central indoor lounge area surrounded by the rooms on all sides. There's a bar and the swimming pool is nearby, so, naturally, there will be a lot of people around. Since all the rooms overlook the lounge area, the noise from all the people down there carries into your room. It's not too bad from my experience, but if you really like your peace and quiet then start praying that you get a room really high up.

Great place! Wish the breakfast was a little later than 9:30am. I saw a few who didn't know but luckily the chef was kind enough to them a hot meal! Kudos for that!

Unfortunately this stay fell far short of the positive experience I've come to expect from Embassy Suites. The first disappointment was the need to use a service elevator due to the main guest elevator being down.

I had running toilet that I had to resolve by opening the back to reposition a faulty flapper.

I tried call for room service and did not get an answer after about 20 rings. I called the service desk and someone answered after 7 or 8 rings. The front desk attendant said they would have room service call, which they did a few minutes later. I placed my order and was told it would take 20 minutes (no problem). But, about a minute later, my wife wanted me to change one of the items so I tried to call back. Again no answer after 15 rings. I tried to call the service desk again and got no answer there either.

So, I then trekked down 7 flights of stairs because I knew waiting for the only working elevator would take too long. When I got to the front desk and let the attendants know that I was unable to reach them and room service by phone, they proceeded to lecture me for using the buttons on the phone marked as "Room Service" and "Front Desk". "You should have pressed zero," they said, "because sometimes those buttons don't connect." I was puzzled by the expectation that I should somehow know that the buttons don't work or connect to the places purported by their labels.

After I explain to the manager my order change, I tried to explain my disappointment with my experience and she walked away as I was speaking without saying a word. When she returned she claimed she was just trying to quickly reach room service. But that did not explain her rudely walking away as I was speaking.

When my order was brought to my room, I was lectured by the man bringing my food again for using the "Room Service" button on the phone instead of dialing the extension (an extension that was printed no where on the room service menu).

I understand that things happen sometimes and technical issues can be outside the control of the employees, but shifting the blame on me and refusing to apologize for them is unacceptable from a customer service standpoint.

This Embassy Suites meets expectations. The breakfast is good quality, although the buffet line is really inconvenient as it is hard to open the sideways containers. The evening reception is better than others (Embassy Suites Chicago Schaumburg) but not as nice as Embassy Suites Richmond. Selection of cheeses, pita, veggies. There is a shuttle, but it is first come, first serve, you cannot schedule it for morning meetings. The rooms are clean and well organized, but the temp in bedroom is much higher than the living room area. Checking out pool tonight...

Everyone was super nice and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean, although soap by a previous guest was found in the shower. The breakfast was good, minus the muffins.

This hotel was to the standard that I expect of an Embassy Suites. Front desk staff was good, room was clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. I would return without hesitation.

Good location that is within close driving distance to many shopping and dining options. The hotel is a bit more dated than other Embassy properties I have stayed at, but the hotel was clean and the sraff was friendly. Parking is $10 a day, and that seems a bit much for a surface lot in front of the hotel.

Hotel room was clean and orderly. Front desk was largely helpful with the exception of one who may have been having a bad day and took it out on me. The hotel has seen better days but overall it's not a terrible place to stay. Good location and plenty of food options nearby. This was my 3rd time staying here and only today did they decide to charge me $10 for parking. The other two times they did not.

Room was spacious and comfortable. The pull out bed was more comfortable than expected and overall room quality was good. We ate breakfast and it is your typical hotel buffet, not great but that's to be expected. Minus one star for the checkin guy, he was rude and disrespectful.

Clean, beautiful. Rooms are like home. Living room area, beautiful bedrooms and Happy hour everyday. Ace, great bartender and her crew. Will only stay their. Breakfast is outstanding. Homemade omelettes, eggs, bacon sausages. Geometries, French toast, etc. and also continental breakfast everyday included in your stay. Staff very nice. Can't say anything bad. Love this place.

Centrally located. Great happy hour, and desk provided items that were forgot at home. Only drawback was what I would consider a halfway clean job done the second day of our 2 night stay. Shampoos were replaced but towels weren't. Bed wasn't made, but trash was taken.

Location was easy to find, rooms were clean and well kept. A warning though if you have a fear of heights as the hotel is open in the middle. Being on the 8th floor with glass railings can be a bit much for some. They have complimentary breakfast, but most hot food that was preprepared was awful, so stick to the things they make fresh or things like the bagels.

I stayed on the 8th floor and had a beautiful view of the middle of the hotel. The room had a large sitting area with a work area and a couch and tv. The bed was comfortable and had a tv in that room also.

We stayed here while in town for a soccer game. The hotel is a little dated, but service and location make up for it.
The hotel is on the Silver line, and a short distance from the Orange line. The hotel was quiet. The happy hour and breakfast were good. We definitely will consider staying here again in the future.

Embassy Suite is usually good, but not this one.

There is no quite time enforced. The noise in the lobby can be heard inside the room (3rd floor) after 11pm.

The cleaning staff is certainly not well trained.

We found swimming trunk in the room left by a previous guest.

I brought some glasses from breakfast downstairs. (Okay, my bad.) The room service took it out and placed them on the aisle floor beside my door, which is fine. BUT, those glasses remained there even when I left two days later! I keep wondering if I should take them back to the downstairs cafeteria.

And everything looks so old in the room. No USB charging outlet on the lamp or TV. You can attach your iPhone to the alarm clock for some music but it ask for the traditional iPhone interface, not the lightening one.

There is free wifi, but only for three devices! Sufficient for a single guest, but definitely not enough for a family.

It is a worst Embassy Suite. It has the right outer appearance, but inside, this hotel doesn't live to its brand.

*Better than Hyatt Regency Tysons and Westin Tysons. Beautiful interior atrium with plants and Gazebo bar. Suite rooms are clean, large and wonderfully furnished. Rooms have privacy door to bedroom. Living room (to each room) has kitchenette, large sofa, and business meeting desk. Bathrooms are clean, updated and spacious. Wonderful perks is the included breakfast and the 5:30pm to 7:30pm drink happy hour for hotel guests. Pool, hot tub and gym are nice features. Staff is extremely friendly and enjoyed the stay.

offers "Free Internet" but it is so slow that is unusable. Either increase your internet speed or stop advertising you have free internet. It is like saying you have running water but finding a guy with a bucket pretending to be a sink.

Everything else is fine, but it was a real pain to have to leave the hotel to find internet to get work done.
