ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Pretty much perfect in every way. The room was extremely clean (actually, I think most hotels inEmbassy Suites by Hilton are doing better with that aspect. The ban on smoking helps.)

The Grand Luxe Cafe downstairs right near the elevators is a good place to grab a moderately-priced (for Embassy Suites by Hilton) meal. The place is similar to a Cheesecake Factory, but better in my opinion.

It’s a three star hotel alright, but it sure feels better then any other three star hotel I have ever been to. You should seriously check it out if you want an excellent cheap suite.

Great location with a wonderful staff. The suites are good size. Plus, you have the added bonus of a nightly reception with appetizers and drinks along with a great breakfast buffet daily. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are spacious. Breakfast is pretty good. Swimming Pool is small and cold. Hotel location is convenience. Nice free happy hour from 5:30-7:30pm. Gym is pretty decent. Staff is polite and friendly. Hotel is clean.

The room we stayed in was a good size for a family of 5. The breakfast was good besides the rotating pastry/muffin area which didn't always have chocolate chip muffins. The happy hour was good as well with quick service and good snacks.

I love this property. I'm a Hilton guy and this property impresses. Easy check-in, friendly staff and when I had to check out early because my business meetings concluded early, the manager quickly waved the early check out fee. Breakfast is the biggest plus because it's included along with a great selection of spirits, beer, and wine.

Very good hotel. We organized a conference in town and had several people stay at this location. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Room 217 is pretty impressive, it has a small conference room attached. This room is good for a small group.

Nicely updated, clean and run well. Great location for planning a family trip to D.C. 5 minute walk to subway and 10 min walk to Georgetown. Having breakfast included every day was a nice touch. Happy hour food just ok. (Chips, hummus, veges) but a nice time to unwind after walking around all day.

I can't say enough good things about the Embassy Suites by Hilton located in Georgetown! We travel very often for business and pleasure and the is by far our top choice in DC. Not only do they offer ample space and great amenities, the staff is like our second family! Destiny, Lache, Maxi, Saron and Jobi always go out of their way to ensure our stay is extraordinary. They go above and beyond to make us feel special and accommodate our needs. I highly recommend this hotel when booking your visit to our nation's capital.

We had a last minute plan to travel to the DC area and the Embassy Suites were offering the most reasonable price ($250 per night) in such a short period of time before our trip. On the plus side, the complementary breakfast and drinks during happy hours, as well as the swimming pool were amazing.

On the not so great side, the beds’ comfort and room’s cleanness barely meet the expectations. There is not much of view from the rooms and the parking is very expensive (not surprising for Washington, though).

Great ambience and fabulous design from inside. Happy hours 5-7pm as usual. Staff were very helpful. They upgraded our room to a bigger one because we complained about noisy patrons next room. Breakfast was open buffet with many options and a cook can make you custom eggs with mushrooms, cheese, and others. Indoor swimming pool and gym as well. Close to everything. A little hard to find parking around as it's the case all around DC. will definitely visit again.

This is, hands down, one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. They were so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are clean and spacious, especially for a DC hotel. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful, and the space is very inviting to small kids.

We came there with 3 kids under 7 and when we arrived it was late. They immediately confirmed the crib was set up in the room upon check in (I can't tell you how many hotels make us wait for cribs even when we ask for them ahead of time). The room had a pull out couch where we put the other kids, and we slept with the baby partitioned off in the bedroom. It was ideal!

There is an arcade, a great breakfast buffet, and a happy hour, all of which were so welcome during a VERY cold trip to DC. One time, during the happy hour, there were no snacks out that my toddler could eat, and without my even asking, a random employee went and got her a basket of goldfish! Really above and beyond service.

Moreover, we left some things in a drawer and they IMMEDIATELY mailed them all back to us! I was so impressed all around. I will never stay in another hotel in DC!

Excellent hotel for families (good-sized rooms). Nice indoor heated pool. Walking distance to many great sites (including old Georgetown) and parks. Breakfast has many options. The hotel offers good deals on weekends for "staycations". There are plenty of parking meter spots that are free for Saturday night stays, so you can skip the hotel parking fee.

I loved the soap they have there. It smells nice, I wish I could know who makes it. Use the valet because if you do not, you cannot get your car out of parking but if you use the valet they will get the car for you if you need it. Also, they let us bring in food from the market.

We were very pleased with the executive suite which added an extra room to the usual 2-room suite. The room would get 5 stars but the breakfast maybe 2. Way too many people for the space. An employee did help us find a table. Though he requested someone return to clean off the table, it did not happen. I was happy to get Goose IPA beer at the reception. I have stayed at over 30 Embassy Suites and the room here was great, but overall only 4 stars.

This is a pretty darn nice Embassy Suites. The staff was very nice and the rooms were also very nice. The breakfast were typical Embassy Suite and the morning staff was very nice. Fantastic hotel, great rooms, excellent breakfast so why only 3 stars? After a long flight the last thing you want is the concierge trying to sell you on a time share event first thing the next morning - not a great first impression so one star removed. Second star removed due to an impatient cleaner, if checkout is at 11am then leave guests alone until then instead the cleaner knocked on our door 3 times between 10am and 10.40am to see when we would be leaving.

Very impressive atrium lobby. Evening reception and breakfast were a nice touch but very crowded. Many people seemed to enjoy the free drinks a little too much...

Room itself was large and the separate living room worked well, but living room window faced into the corridor/atrium so gets very little natural light. There was a slightly musky/mouldy smell in the room, but not enough to bother changing rooms when staying one night.

Front desk very helpful allowing early check in and the small gift shop was handy to buy a stamp on a Saturday afternoon when all the post offices were closed, I was even able to leave it with the front desk to mail for me.

We generally love Hilton properties, but this one was somewhat disappointing, especially considering that it was renovated about 8 months ago. The rooms are not quiet. We heard noise from the halls and atrium, and noise from the street. The pre-made hot breakfast items in the free morning buffet were barely warm (pancakes, toaster waffles, potatoes). The rest of the breakfast was good though. Our room had a strange quirk where every time the air conditioner would come on, the bathroom light would also turn on. And no, there was nothing in the bathroom that moved in the breeze from the fan. The bed was comfy and the place was clean. The text service was helpful and I got some questions answered just by texting them back.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

The hotel is uniquely built with a very interesting architectural layout. The service is great and the staff will text you to see if they can make your stay any better. There is a complimentary breakfast in the morning but it is just your traditional eggs, bacon, cereal, fruit, etc. Nothing special to write home about but it's still nice to be included with your stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern feeling and a maid services them everyday. The only truly unsatisfactory thing that I have experienced is the gym. It's a bit run down and could use an expansion. The ceilings are not evenly vaulted and it shows as there are cracks and crumbles where someone lifted the dumbbells above their head only to discover the ceiling is a bit closer than they realized. Also, there is a lack of variety in equipment and a few of the weight machines are rusted and run down. But then again, this is a hotel, not a gym.

Hotel was clean and stylish...though housekeeping did not show up until the end of the day. Parking at the hotel is $50 a day which kind of sucks but at least we were able to park at the hotel. The best part of our trip was a guy named Joseph, that's associated but not a part of the hotel, that is a driver who took us all around town to see the sights.

We stayed here July of 2017. We picked room 630 but I would warn others that there is a room next to it that staff workers used and there were loud noises originating there as late at 11pm at night. We really enjoyed the hotel overall, it was clean, modern, and had an open air feel to it. There are 9 floors and we picked the room we were in to have at least "some kind" of view. The biggest complaint I can think of is the elevators. If you stay and the hotel is busy, if they don't have all three elevators running (in our case they had 2), you will be waiting a long time. Because of this, it may be wise to stay on floor 2 (or the lowest floor you can). Warning: the stairwell at the elevators exits outside the building so you have to walk around and back in the lobby from the outside. It's a pain, but you can also follow this stairwell to the parking garage and take that elevator back to the lobby. There is another stairwell across the atrium near the pool that won't present this problem. The included breakfast is OUTSTANDING. We read reviews suggesting to get there 7am before the crowds, however, everyone else must have read this also so I would suggest arriving 7:15/7:20am after the initial surge. The staff was great.

Good location within 20 minutes walking distance to most important national landmarks. The rooms have basic accommodations but are relatively comfortable. The AC/heat units are ancient. My first night was very, very, VERY cold. Even pumped up to 80, I felt cool air seeping from the vents. I spoke to the front desk at breakfast time where I was encouraged to boost it to 85. By 1130am, with the thermostat maxed at 90, still o heat. I called to the front desk and was told to expect a technician immediately. I showered (left the water on a while go steam/heat the room), dressed, and slowly packed. I went down to the desk with all my luggage a little over two hours after I was told to expect a technician. They swiftly put me in a new room with a working HVAC unit. No qualms. Do wish they would have offered to swap roo.s sooner. All in all my first night and morning of my two night stay was miserable. I expect upon check-out tomorrow that Hilton will credit my account for that night. I usually don't expect free rooms for issues, but this was one that deserves to be wiped. Everything else is/was awesome!! 😀

Always love to stay at this hotel when visiting DC. The complimentary breakfast and drinks of the manager's reception are a bonus to the good location.

As a complaint the renovation of the hotel modernized it's look, but at a cost. There once had been an impressive amount of interior landscaping, and families could feed the koi that swam in the large fountain. Now all of the fish and most of the plants are gone, and the fountain is dry. The hotel has a sleeker look but I wish some of its original character had remained.

I really enjoyed my stay. The included made-to-order breakfast and the complimentary drinks at night (which was not limited to beer only) was great. The staff was very nice and friendly. The price was very reasonable. My only nitpick is that there was a weird blotch in the roof that never got cleaned and I really don't want to know what that or it was! Either way it didn't retract from the good experience. I would recommend it to friends.

Honestly the best hotel I have ever stayed at in DC. Very clean and open. Love the free breakfast and happy hour. As well as the warm and welcoming staff. Thanks for making my stay one to remember.

Really nice upscale hotel. I did not expect the interior to be so grande. We were able to host a couple pregames here with 20-30 people in these spacious suites. Highly recommend this hotel if your looking for an affordable option to stay close to DuPont.

The suite was spacious enough for four people to stay comfortably and the breakfast was phenomenal! I would 100% recommend it to a friend and I would absolutely stay there again

Amazing rooms, great service, friendly staff. Bar, gym, pool, gift shop, and restaurant are all inside. Well worth it.
Recieved complementary drinks and full breakfast buffet.

Very helpful staff and should be great after summer 2016 renovation is complete. Parking during construction was 15 minutes away at Ritz Carlton and was $40 a day. Breakfast was standard Embassy breakfast but happy hour wasn't as good, maybe due to construction but about half the snack selection most Embassy's offer. Laundry on every other floor. $2 to wash and dry, each.

Renovations in July 2016--new lobby, new bar, new rooms. Very nice, clean, and modern update to the Embassy Suites brand. Some construction ongoing but nothing too intrusive. Front desk very accommodating and helped me relocate to a room when the original room had a wiring issue. Also provided parking at the Ritz Carlton while the garage was under construction. Free breakfast and cocktail hour a nice touch.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were very nice and had plenty of room for my family of 6. Hotel is under construction which was mentioned when booking but it was not listed that the pool nor the game room were open which was a disappointment for my kids. I would recommend staying here but call ahead to find out if facilities are open before staying

Beautiful hotel! Unlike anything I've ever seen before. I'm from a small town and there's nothing like this big beautiful place around my parts...and FREE drinks every evening!

Beautiful hotel. Room is great. Front desk personnel are very nice. Housekeeping was always very accommodating as well.

The only thing I didn't enjoy was that the bed was too soft. Unfortunately, I can't pack my sleep number bed.

Nothing really interested me here.
Even though the rooms were set in advanced the rooms were not available even though they were stated that they were.
The food in this location isn't on par with any other embassy suites around as well.
The internet here was so clustered that it was literally impossible to use, though I suspect it can be fixed with better access points instead of having 10 (literally) 'hhonors' APs stepping on everyone and everything.
On to the rooms, though they took time to get prepared it seemed that they were a bit dated over all. Not expecting a extremely high quality experience though, out of all embassy suites I've been in this one makes me feel like I'm in a motel. Furniture needs a bit of renovation as the tables seen better days. Oddly enough the TV in the bed room didn't even work, leaving the ability to watch something on demand out of the question. Either way. This isn't a place I'd recommend to go to unless you had no where else to go.
