Excellent location and service. The rooms are large, clean and there is plenty of space. The hotel breakfast is amazing. They have hot buffet plus a fresh omelette area. The guest reception is offered every day with wine, beer, cocktails and spirits for free. It also include an snack bar to go with your drinks. The people are very friendly and polite.

Great place! Rooms are large and clean, breakfast was fantastic. Love how close it is to the metro. Staff was great. We stayed here for a short weekend trip to DC for a concert.

Easily accessible to so many sights, restaurants, etc.

Great service. Staff is very helpful and understanding. Our daughter fell ill and we required someone to come clean. They were very patient and thoughtful. The concierge came to the room to ask how she was feeling and brought something to settle her stomach.
Breakfast was included and of very high quality. Evening reception was great and really sealed helped ease into the evening.
I will make a point of booking Embassy Suites for future trips and especially the DC convention Center location when I'm in town.

I've stayed at this place several times when visiting DC. I like the destination, the friendly staff and the made-to-order breakfast. The rooms/ suites are comfortable, quiet and clean. The beds and sheets are comfortable; better than at other places. Just note that even a corner room may not have a view, other than the office in the other building about 20 feet away (see picture). The room's furnishings and decor are great if you miss your grandmother's house. ;-) With new bathroom fixtures and upholstery, I would give it 5 stars. I will definitely return.

Woman that checked us in was amazing. After a long day of traveling she welcomed us with open arms and asked where we were from. After telling her Wisconsin, she sympathized and explained that's where she went to high school. Breakfast option was great. One small thing would be the heat of the hot tub, but that's so minor compared to everything else it isn't worth the -1 star.

Very friendly staff, both behind the desk and in the janitorial crew. Especially the attendant who brought our luggage to our room. He took time to let us know about features and services we may not have known about, and helped us unload our suitcases. The included breakfast was great, with variety and fresh food every morning we were there. The swimming and exercise facilities were also well maintained and clean.

Upon arrival in my vehicle, valet was speedy in grabbing my attention and helping my party unload our luggage before taking my Jeep to their private parking structure beneath the hotel. The room was spacious and clean and was clad with the amenities promised. There was complimentary breakfast and snack bar that was open to guests, and the breakfast area included an omelet station which was honestly my personal favorite! The staff is respectful and considerate and tries their best to accommodate each customer. They were also very conveniently located closely to the convention center, with a very large variety of markets and eateries to shop from.

Room was in great shape. Hotel in excellent location. Completely walkable to get to the mall. Only a block and a half or so from the metro. We really enjoyed the morning buffet and evening happy-hour. Everyone one the staff was friendly. No issues at all.

Complimentary breakfast was quite tastey. The room was quiet and bed comfortable. Our shower had low pressure, we called the front desk and maintenance came up and replaced the shower head within 20 minutes. Every member of the staff has been friendly and made our stay more than comfortable. It's about a 15 minute walk from the National Mall and we found lots of great places for dinner near by. We will definitely be back.

Great place to visit. The staff was very helpful with checking us in and suggesting where to go for the night life and pointing us in the right direction for either a restaurant or anything else of interest.
The complimentary breakfast was very adequate and very tasty.

I just wish people with kids would realise that just because their kids are up some of us want to sleep in. The yelling and banging doors and just being loud in the hallways was too much.
Please learn to control your kids!

Not counting the kids we had a wonderful stay at the hotel.

Stayed 3 nights over the 4th of July and really enjoyed it. Our room was more like an apartment with a living room with pull-out couch, kitchenette, and proper bedroom. Very comfortable and very clean. The swimming pool is somewhat small but enough for our kids to have fun. Included in our stay was a full daily breakfast which was fantastic. Lots of selection, and very tasty. Also daily from 5:30-7:30pm there were free light snacks and drinks! You really couldn't ask for much more from a hotel. Very very impressive.

If I had one minor complaint it was that there weren't enough staff tending to guests at breakfast time. A few times we were waiting for plates, and coffee. The tables weren't promptly cleared either. Could've simply been due to the volume of guests due to the holiday. I'm sure this will be quickly corrected.

Overall this was a fantastic stay and strongly recommend Embassy Suites DC Convention Center. You can't go wrong!

We had a very good experience. The breakfast was great. The amenities were well kept as well. Two reasons why I only gave it 4 stars was the whirlpool was closed and there is no parking except for valet parking. There are other hotels in the city that have their own parking.

Great rooms, very friendly service. Super convenient location for the Washington convention center. Short walk to the arena too. Was about a half mile to the Capitol / Lincoln memorial / that area, straight shot right down the street so not hard at all. Very large breakaway served free every morning and a drinks for an hour in the late afternoon too. Highly recommended.

Clean. Great staff. Nice breakfast. Great drinks. The woman who is probably a manager (not in a uniform) at the Managers Happy Hour, could stand to be less rude. I was there from Monday through Friday, her attitude is the only complaint I'd have. Even the gift shop lady was sweet.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

This is by far my favorite hotel to stay at. We stayed for 3 nights and booked 2 rooms, and every day the room was cleaned thoroughly. The house keeping did an excellent job organizing my things and laying out all the stuff toys on bed. The breakfast was fresh and had plenty of options. As soon as you stop to enter the hotel, the guys at the door help with luggage and take care of parking your car. The front desk associates were customer oriented and friendly too. Id highly recommend this embassy Suites location than the other ones located in DC.

Rooms are spacious suites, as indicated, two big TVs, soft beds. Pillows a little too soft for my taste. The pool is so warm you can walk right in with no hesitation. There's a free happy hour for the guests with pretty much unlimited free drinks and nice bartenders. WiFi is only free in certain cases, so make sure you get it. Bring a white noise machine/app in case you get a room on the second floor...you can hear street noise from there.

This hotel was in a great location. Easy walking distance to main downtown restaurants and shops. The Washington mall is just a 20 minute stroll as well, which is a great place for tourists and for a run. Breakfast was well provisioned and included a made to order menu as well as a buffet (what a bonus). The rooms are very spacious and clean, making a very comfortable stay. The staff were very welcoming and helpful too.

Located in close proximity to the Convention Center and within walking distance of a few restaurants. The hotel is sell maintained and the rooms are always clean. Staff has always been friendly and helpful, most are knowledgeable of the area and willing to give recommendations. You can walk to the museums and White House, but they are several blocks away.

Stayed here as a guest die two nights and 3 days. Finn and Porter restaurant is a nice convenience for later meals in the evening. Be warned that the breakfast buffet and custom I'm a little lines fill up very fast. Plan on getting there before 8:30 to avoid a 30 minute wait. By 9:30 it's cleared out again. Overall a good option for Center City lodging, and very close to many sites and the mall.

This was a great hotel. Great location, beautiful suites, delicious breakfast. I have stayed at a lot of hotels in DC, this one is my favorite. Its the full package. The staff was so nice. This place is great. Walking distance to the attractions. Rooms are very spacious. An extra mini living room and mini sink with a fridge. The "free" breakfast is excellent. I mean really.. The breakfast is awesome. Hotel is very clean. The ONLY reason I had to take away a star is the $50 a day to park!

High class. Very clean. Great restaurant with super mixed drinks including cranberry mojito. Waterfall in main lobby. Free breakfast buffet was excellent. Will make custom made omelets. Other foods in the buffet are bacon, sausage, fresh fruit including melons. Service was great from everyone. Would like to see better valet service

I enjoyed my 4 night stay on business stay and I think the morning breakfast made my stay worthwhile. Nothing was particularly fancy here, a pretty typical embassy suites.

Morning breakfast was amazing and full featured however and I have to brag on that.

Dinner prices onsite were high but the roasted chicken I got was excellent and it was difficult to find other accessible dinner options, so completely worthwhile.

The rooms are dated, especially the beds.

Overall I’d probably come back again.

This is my favorite hotel. It is nicer than any other Embassy Suites I've been to. Every member of staff that I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The hotel exceled at the little details that make all the difference. Everything was very clean and almost nothing was at all outdated. The pool towels were big and soft and the rack of them seemed always full. The breakfast was excellent and fresh and there were plenty of staff members refilling things and cleaning up. The evening reception was excellent as well. It had more than the usual varieties of snacks (including candy). The drinks included the usual offerings plus a daily cocktail and sangria. The staff made me feel as though I was doing them a favor by being there. I will return there any time it is an option.

Great place too stay! Staff is pleasant and very attentive. We had a minor issue and it was rectified right away. I can't praise this place enough. The restaurant was great too. Hotel and room were good. Service was excellent, especially the housekeepers. The three stars are because the stairs only lead outside and the elevators don't give you enough time to get on them during breakfast. And be ready to wait an hour or longer in line for that breakfast.

Outstanding hotel! We stayed 7 nights for Christmas and had a formidable experience. Great location, clean (and great size) room, friendly and helpful staff, (don't miss the made-to-order breakfast each morning or the evening reception- yes... both are complimentary)! We traveled with kids and the heated indoor pool was a hit. Thanks Hilton 🙌

Such a wonderful and accommodating hotel. My husband and I arrived in DC at 8 oclock Christmas Day. We had planned to just drive around and check out the local scenery, but I got sick on the plane. We called the hotel and ask if we could check-in early. Much to your surprise, they said YES! Elvis was so helpful answering questions. They even upgraded our room, since it is our honeymoon. All staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. Rooms are clean comfortable, and pleasant. Will defiantly stay here on our next trip!

One of the better Embassy's I've stayed at so far in the DC area. Staff was very nice. Would definitely stay here again. Great breakfast. Only negative thing I can say is the evening social hour did not have very good snacks, but hey... complementary alcohol...

No matter which one you are staying at, Embassy Suites is always a good choice. Every one of them has a free nightly happy hour with great drinks (yup, alcoholic!) and snacks, as well as an amazing complementary breakfast. This hotel is in a great location, really in the very heart of DC. It is close to the Mall and all the historic sights, but is also an easy walk to Chinatown, some of the best restaurants in DC, the Capital One Arena and a lot more.

Inside, the hotel is nice but nothing spectacular. It lacks the open design that many other ES's have, but space is limited in a city. Overall, very nice.

Excellent location right by the convention center, and 15 minute drive from Reagan Airport. Staff was extremely friendly and genuinely helpful. Room decor was a bit dated, probably time for a refresh. Nice drinks reception in the evening, with cocktails, wine, and beer.

I loved the location, but that is about all I liked about this particular Embassy Suites. The furniture in the room looked like it came from the Goodwill, the tub had mold in the tiles(the bed was great),and the Managers Reception is held downstairs in what looks like someones old dark 70s basement . This is the worst Embassy Suites I have stayed in Cosmetically speaking. The Staff was great ! For this Hotel to be in D.C. I would think they would consider Remodeling to be more appealing to the eye of an upscale clientele. But I guess you wouldn't know until check in!

Very nice staff, property/rooms were fairly nice but need some work (door over fridge falling off, carpets dirty, some plugs not working), and the breakfast set up needs to be rethought. You expect wear and tear so none of the facility issues were a surprise, this is located downtown after all. However, the made to order breakfast setup was way below par. One morning we ate at 0730 and were able to find a table in the side but even at that time the restaurant was filling up and lines were long. The next morning we came down at 0930 and no tables were open and the omelette line was out the in door. If we had stayed to eat I have no doubt we would have waited likely 30 minutes or more for food. There has to be better planing for days like that even if the solution is to open the evening social area to let them sit there. Not well managed at all. But, that is my only complaint. We went to a local crepe restaurant across the block and enjoyed our breakfast, but it would have been nice if we could have had the free breakfast that is typically part of staying at an Embassy.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The service was fantastic, free drinks (of the alcoholic persuasion) for two hours, pretty good all you can eat breakfast buffet and the room was perfect! Oh, and I have to add that Elvis at the front desk was wonderful! Thanks for a great stay!

Delightful hotel!

Great location, short walk to the mall.

The hotel itself is immaculately clean, the rooms are quite large, with a large TV in both rooms, every amenity you would need, and comfortable(and weirdly tall) beds.

Free unlimited breakfast buffet every morning, absolutely delicious, every type of food possible.

Free unlimited drinks and snacks in the evening, snacks were kinda meh(but we had our own snacks anyway), but the drinks(basically all types of soft drink, and a select wine and beer) were very useful, and so easy to get and take back up to the room.

Service was great as well, every one was very helpful, clean towels and more glasses(etc) were given everyday. After our first room smelt like smoke, we went back down and they instantly had another room, which we went to and was perfect.

Very nice hotel! We really enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites. The staff was extra friendly and even checked up on us during our stay. From the desk attendants to the housekeeping staff, every person I interacted with in this hotel was very kind and willing to help. I received text messages checking on my stay, which might sound strange, but it ended up being wonderful as I got great restaurant recommendations and other information I would have had to call about. I can't remember a more memorable staff.

The room itself was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The full, hot breakfast is included (and they had many choices, all of good quality), and there is a complimentary nightly cocktail and snack reception for guests. In other words, I felt like I'd paid far more for the room.

I highly recommend this Embassy Suites.

Exceptional 3 night stay. The entire staff from the valet, front desk, to the management were attentive, courteous, and thoughtful. The second morning the line cook remembered my order and asked if I wanted the same thing! Yes, please add thank you! The hotel engineer was in the pool area tending to the spa and pool which was clean and ready at all hours. Very classy place. However 400 dollars a night is steep. They do however have a resteraunt, room service, and a gift shop. Also they are right in the heart of dc. Also there is normally always someone outside to get a taxi for you and help you with your bags. Again. Very very classy

Awesome full breakfast included with cook to order eggs and bacon and sausage and fruit and juice and sodas and so on. Very well done breakfast everyday and 2 hours of manager happy hour each night with full spread of different wines and liquor and mixers. Really helps justify the crazy prices to stay in DC. You could stay at 15 different hotel within .2 of a mile for all about the same price, none of them cheap, but only here do you get so much added value.

For the manager reception, the person serving drinks was incredibly rude to myself and friends. Although we had written on the room, that we had three guests staying in our room, she gave us hassle everytime we went up for more drinks. At one point, she even proceeded to call the front desk in front of us to verify the guests. We were there the previous night and it was pretty obvious she recognized us. The breakfast was pretty good, and our maid was great. Aside from having the qualms with the bar keep, we had a really great stay!

What a great bargain. Complimentary breakfast is amazing and huge. Has pool and small gym with weights and cable machine. Didn't use $50 valet parking as I just parked around the corner $3 every 2-3 hours before 6pm. Room was big and was a suite.bathroom is huge as well. Bed is huge and very comfortable king size. Got discount for $140 a night but $201-$209 price is still great. We stayed on the 14 floor btw.

Quite frankly I was disappointed. You see pictures of places and try to give them the benefit of the doubt over some of these major hotel chains but this place didn't deliver. Our room was on the bottom floor and it smelled like water....as though it just flooded. And we considered changing rooms but the whole floor smelled like flooding. Also considered just leaving in general but my girlfriend was only in town for the day and we were checking in late so our options were limited. I'm giving this place 2 stars for the simple fact that it is one of the more affordable places in the area otherwise it'd be 0 stars. Though they do charge you for pretty much everything else. Like a disappointed parent...that's how I feel.

Rooms are okay. Looks old but as clean as can be. Good free breakfast and evening reception. Complaints would be mainly be the toilets and pool. The toilets are very noisy and if you don't put the seat down when you flush you will get toilet water splashed everywhere. Can we say brown poo water on the floor? The whole pool area is covered in water. Most areas puddles of water. Seems extremely dangerous to have a kids area wet everywhere. And we went several times so this wasn't one time. And if you go in the hot tub...don't expect to relax because you will constantly be sprayed by cold water from the people in the pool right next to the hot tub.

We stayed here for a wedding just a few blocks away. It was relatively easy to find the service though was awesome. They park your car for you even if the room isn't ready yet. We were with in walking distance to all the museum's and we got a map before we left the hotel. The map also showed the locations of everything.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they have the cheapest rates around...

Just completed 3 nights here with our 8 year old. We especially appreciate a suite that has a separate bedroom with a door that closes so we can let out son have his privacy ;). Also, unlike some other suites we've stayed in, the bathroom entrance is not in the bedroom so when he needed to use it, he didn't have to come into our room. The room was very comfortable and overall the hotel is very nice. The complimentary snacks and wine hour (or hours really) was highly appreciated...who doesn't love a free glass of wine at the end of a long day of sight-seeing...plus cocktails and other liquors and a whole snack bar too. (Though that was a little too focused on unhealthy snacks, chips etc...not ideal for just before dinner.) The location is also great...about a 15 minute walk to the mall (err, not the shopping mall, but you know, the one with all the Smithsonian museums...) and a much shorter walk to many excellent restaurants.

The breakfast was okay...everything you could want but nothing too great in terms of quality.

Very nice and accommodating staff. We'd definitely stay here again when visiting DC.

very good hotel for family of 4. kids sleep on the sofa bed. shower is not fancy but did the job. breakfast is free with limited selections tho it covers all the basic. valet is a little delayed as we had to park it ourselves and find the valet inside of the hotel. bed is extremely soft and comfortable.

A very nice hotel and a great value. Stayed at this Embassy Suites while on a college tour for my daughter. I was looking for a central location in D.C. close to town and still close to the school. This place was perfect and very reasonably price as well. Hotel was clean and service was excellent. We had a suite (4 people) and on our way into the room the maid saw us and said we needed more towels and brought more in. We never had to say a word. Breakfast comes with your room and I want expecting much for 'free' but we were impressed. Was a tab crowded so I would go before 9am on a weekend. Only drawback was the valet parking but if you give them about a 30-40 window you should be fine.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites for a business trip. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The free breakfast buffet had many options. Many of my coworkers really appreciated the free cocktail hour- I didn't part take. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I come back.

I travel to Washington D.C. a lot. And I do mean a lot! Last year I practically went every other week. The Embassy Suites Convention Center is my choice for my home away from home. From the manager's evening reception to the morning breakfast, everything is great.

One of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. The staff is very polite and helpful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the windows didn't open and there was no balcony, so if I wanted some fresh air I had to go all the way downstairs.

My stay at the Four Seasons hotel in Georgetown was fantastic! The service and amenities are top-notch and made my Thanksgiving weekend relaxing and enjoyable. As a frequent flyer of Four Seasons worldwide; I was especially impressed by the lobby renovation and refurbished rooms. Above all, the Spa services never disappoint and we're certainly the highlight of my weekend.

Rooms were nice and spacious. The breakfast is awesome! Cooked to order omlettes! Be sure to get there early to avoid the crowds. We also had some dinner at the restaurant. The fish and chips were really good and so was the clam chowder.

Outstanding location, and a very nice stay. The bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet on the 12th floor. The water pressure could be a bit better, and the WiFi was spotty, but otherwise all was good.

Clean, great breakfast, good and fast elevators, hardly seemed crowded although it was booked up during my stay. Service nice, little challenge there was, it was that some of the staff there (valet, security - not sure) I had to explain one simple thing sever times before he'd understand. Other than that the front desk, restaurant and other people spoke and comprehended English

The Hilton Embassy Suites was a fantastic stay for us. The staff was extremely personable, kind, funny and helpful. The room had plenty of space for our group and a decent view of the city. It was only a short walk from the metro so we easily got around to see all we wanted to in D.C. We had a great stay and will be back the next time we decide to travel to the city.

During my stay, I made these observations:

They have free happy hour and free breakfast. That being said, there are a lot of children and their parents do not watch over them, so there is a mess of food on the floor in the buffet and happy hour is for children too. So get ready to walk over popcorn, chips and candy on your way to get yourself a beer from the bar.

I made the mistake of booking this hotel for 4 adults with no children during memorial day weekend. If you don't plan on leaving your room during your stay, then you will be ok. The rooms are comfortable and clean. You don't even get to enjoy the indoor pool; full of kids 24/7 it seemed like.

The staff was attentive and always cleaning up behind the messy guests, so the effort is there. 2 of the 4 elevators were not working and there is only one elevator bank. We stayed on second floor; the stairs do not have lobby access from the second floor, so we could not resort to that.

Valet is $41 per day.
