ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Well, VA is in phase 3 of opening and this hotel is giving you a tiny yogurt, apple, and a granola bar for breakfast. So if u are lactose intolerant, too bad. Embassy is known for their breakfasts, And of all the hotels I’ve stayed at in last week of travels, this was the slackest! The owners are dropping the ball... it’s bad when Hampton shows the guests more courtesy than the Embassy.
Room appeared clean, just carpet stains. We r just so disappointed in the customer service. You’d expect them to do better by offering muffins or hot breakfast sandwiches like Hampton did. This was an insult. Not even water!

Loved this place! Convenient location, quiet. Good sized rooms. Complimentary breakfast to get the day started and a Happy hour to get the day ended. Plenty of free parking.

The hotel is old and needs repairs, updates are really needed. Our room smells like wet animals, and periodically during the day the room and hall are filled with the smell of food. There's a plaster bubble that drips water when shower is on. It's very unsettling. The front desk is nice and housekeeping. The people serving and cooking the breakfast needs a little help with smiling and being polite. Maybe there should be rooms specifically for pet owners. Because I don't want to pay to lay on furniture that someone's pet has been all over. I don't have pet so I don't want pet hair or smells on me! Remember whose the paying customers.

Always if possible stay at Embassy Suites, they are nicely furnished, room to relax as well as a bedroom. The breakfast is very good and having a chef on hand to cook for you it is really nice. Good selection too for their breakfast from fruit juices, tea, coffee, then cereals, cooked hot food, an omelette station, and pastries etc. Their happy hour at the end of the day is also a nice touch, just wish other hotels did the same. The foyer was nicely decorated for Christmas with a nice big tree. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Great hotel.

Not your standard Embassy Suites. Still has the manager special and great breakfast but the lobby is not the traditional Forest motif, and the rooms are somewhat dated. Tried to check in early but there weren't any rooms available, which is fine, however it was brought to my attention that their computer system had me down for a smoking room even though my reservation was for non-smoking. I requested it be changed to non-smoking and then when it came back at 11pm that night, it still hadn't been changed which was somewhat annoying. Fortunately the new staff was fantastic and was able to find me a non-smoking room.

The hotel is awesome, the breakfast was awesome. Everything you could want. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars was because we came back to the hotel and the room stunk. Someone was smoking in the next room. They gave me a week excuse saying though our room was not smoking the next room wasn't. Having asthma this was not good. They sent someone up to febreeze quickly but it didn't last all night. They didn't give us any break for the inconvenience of having to wash all our clothes.

Took our softball team for a tournament and stayed here. Fantastic customer service, great breakfast to get them going and free happy hour for the parents. Kudos to Greg Walker Sr. and Chef Clyde for treating our players like special guests! Close to tons of restaurants, downtown, shopping and Busch Gardens. Just wish the patio area was larger!

The staff was exceptional and very attentive. We had a reception area and the air conditioning was not working and it appears that it had been out for some time. Some of our guest has issues with the AC units in their rooms as well.

Really like this hotel, stayed here twice and it’s become our go-to hotel for Williamsburg trips.

Hotel and rooms are very clean.
Rooms are big and have everything you need.
Complex had a good layout.
Excellent complimentary breakfast in morning.
Two-hour complimentary happy hour (select drinks) in evening.
Parking is good with convenient side entrance.

Only area they need to improve on is room housekeeping during stay. Sometimes they don’t show up until very late (after 5pm) if at all.

This is a very family-friendly place. They have great made-to-order omelets each morning. They now have 2-bedroom 2-bath suites, great for a big family. Indoor pool, fitness center on site. The 2-bed 2-bath suites have 4 TVs. Our kids loved having their own shows without fighting over it. These rooms also have 2 fridges, 2 microwaves,a dining and living area, which has a sofa bed. Very nice hotel.

The night hotel staff surprised my daughter with yummy chocolate lava cake tonight at the happy hour, and serenaded her with a beautiful rendition of happy birthday. The cake was delicious, and the free happy hour sangria was perfect. The bartenders and servers were polite and had such positive attitudes that it really made the night perfect.

Very nice atreum, bar and breakfast and dinner area. Managers reception was very nice...the crispy pita was excellent. The gym was good with free weights , benches, cable machine, pull ups and cardio equipment. Building is older but the rooms and inside have been nicely renovated. 2nd time visiting this location, I'll be back.

First time staying at the Embassy Suites in Williasmburg and I have to say, NICE PLACE! Front desk was VERY helpful and gave plenty of tips on where to eat. Happy hour and breakfast included, NICE! Room was, OK and the heater/AC ran ALL THE TIME! The bathroom area was mostly clean, with some pink spots in the shower from mold/mildew. I could NEVER get the WIFI to work properly on any device. The front desk folks couldn't get it to work either, would have been nice though. All in all, nice place and will stay there again. Thanks!

Smelled like sewage/poop in the lobby 2 out of 3 days I was there. I stay here for the Happy Hour, 5:30-7:30 free drinks and snacks, great way to end the day when you are on the road. 5 stars if no smell.

When we realized that we were going to miss the happy hour from 4:30-5:30, we went to the manager to see if he could do anything for us. We ended up with two cards for 2 beers on the house. Great manager made a great experience

Hotel is dated. Our room smelled of mildew and the cabinet in the main room had gouged missing. Staff was friendly and helpful, clearly doing their best with a dated property. Common areas on first floor were clean. Hallways upstairs had debris on them my entire 3 day stay.

Complimentary breakfast is really nice with made to order omelets. Evening reception is nice as well.

Probably a 2 star, but I give them 3 due to the staff and breakfast.

Oh my! Where to start? We had fun, and last person working here that we met made us feel like family. They all bend over backwards to accommodate us and my kids absolutely adore Lester Martin who is an angel. He made us feel super special and from the look of things, we figured he made everyone feel the same way. We will definitely be back in a few months. Thank you so much for having us and making our stay so memorable

We made reservations for 7 days ( Friday June 30 - Friday July 7). Our reservation was divided into 2 bookings for which we had dual confirmation numbers. Upon arrival the front desk was made aware of the dual reservations and assured us that they will be able to keep us in the same rooms. On arrival to our room we discovered that we did not get the 2 room king for which we were confirmed. Instead we got a one bedroom with a sleeper sofa (double) which had someone else's used sheets in place when we tried to set up the bed. We were a family of 4 but they keep giving us 3 sets of towels, of the 7 days ur room was cleaned only twice. To make matters worse our credit card was charged an additional $500 with no statement provided. My husband called the hotel to request an explanation, he was on hold for 20 minutes only to be transferred to another department. We requested a billing statement but was told a statement will not be available since we paid in advance through a third party and our credit card should have not been charged. We were assured the charges will be reversed in a few days. This leaves us with $500 less on the credit card for transactions. I can assure you that we will not be staying at this hotel again.

I always like the perks and the atmosphere at Embassy hotels. Staff was very accommodating and other guests are always friendly. Love the the bar and open lounge area. Plenty of accessible parking. Could not give five stars as cleaning staff were very noisy and some guests were playing in the elevators when we arrived.

This is a VERY BUSY hotel. A lot of school tours come through here to visit WIlliamsburg on their way to DC and back.

The rooms were a bit small, but our 4 person family were snug in the 1 room suite. The kids never complained about sleeping on the pull-out, so it must have been pretty comfortable.

The fitness center is large and very well equipped for both cardio and weight training.

The included breakfast is top notch. Very well made omelets and french toast and the staff were very friendly and experienced at turning a lot of rood and rooms in short order when hundreds of middle and high school kids are moving through the hotel.

The location of this property was convenient. But it had some things that were just a bit off. When we ararrived we were told that the hot water did not work and they were in the process of finding what was wrong and foxing it, but they could not say when it would be fixed. When asked how we were supposed to take a shower the response seemed to be a large shrug with no helpful suggestions other than a discount should the problem persist. We were not offered to cancel our reservation without penalty. Fortunately the hot water was fixes by morning. The door to the bedroom also did not stay closed, but was fixed. The mattress pad on the fold out was dirty, a security guard came to replace it and insisted it wasn't dirty even though it was covered in black things

I stayed here for three weeks. Hotel was clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Kesha and DJ were great bartenders. The only problem was the breakfast. The bacon was way over cooked more often than not and the omelette was more of an egg wrap. The only person that could make a good omelette is Theresa. I would definitely stay here but unless Theresa is cooking, I'd pass on a made to order breakfast.

The rooms are nice, well appointed, but the air conditioning struggles to move air in the room. It took all night to bring the air down to a comfortable temperature, and because the air circulation is poor, it still isnt helping much. Room service was alright, but they asked me how I wanted my burger cooked and if I wanted fries or onion rings. Had they not asked, I'd have been fine with what I got, bit my order of 'Medium' with onion rings came up to the room 'Well' and with fries. It wasn't at all worth the expense, really. Breakfast was fantastic. Huge spread, made to order, and free drinks at the bar between 5 and 7:30pm.

The place has been recently remodeled, so it's looks great. The room was great, service was good and the breakfast buffet is great to, especially if you have a large family. Recently stayed here during the 4th of July with family. Despite some of the negative reviews, I was very happy with my stay. The rooms were not that big but they were functional and well kept. We booked this hotel for our 5 year anniversary weekend.

Saying we were disappointed is probably the understatement of the year. Anything/everything that could go wrong did. The Hotel was under renovations and we had no idea! The Bar was closed so the put two kegs on a luggage cart and said Happy Hour! The thermostat in the "Newly Renovated" room they put us in was broke. 2-1/2 hours later still not fixed but they did move us too another room...that just happened to smell like an ASHTRAY.

Upon check out, the manager on duty did offer $50.00 off our bill. But honestly, after all of this, I felt like they should have done more. If it were just one of those things, I could see the discount, but considering this stay was a calamity of events (seriously, we felt like we were on a TV show getting Punk'd) I feel like they should have picked up the tab for the entire stay or offered a voucher for a free stay another time.

An email to customer service (corporate) only gets forwarded to the local property for response so don't think that will help you if you are not happy with your stay.
