Overall, hotel stay was average. Bed was fairly comfortable, nice and spacious bathroom. TV was updated. Room felt odd with support pillars cut into hallway. Only one window that opened into dark alley with awkward white wall space where another window probably should be. Or a painting. Included breakfast was excellent.

Very convenient to Management Concepts training facility. If you are traveling with children pool is very small. Personnel were very friendly. About two blocks from White House. Will definitely stay there again.

The location is awesome. It's walking distance to Lafayette Park and lots of restaurants. Their breakfast was really good. The valet is comparable to other hotels in the area.

The staff was great and friendly. Breakfast wasn't to bad considering it was hotel food. The hotel is around the corner from the metro station and down the block from a bike share dock which was great. You can take a 12 min walk to the white house. Never felt unsafe walking around the area even at night. They have a digital key which was great because i hate carrying room cards. Only prob was the small window and amount of street noise coming from it. It would be nice if they installed thicker glass to reduce the street noise .

The location is perfect for this hotel being close to everything and if you're not up for walking it's a short uber or lyft ride from everything. The hotel is clean and the front desk is very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location (only 1 block from the metro station). The staff is very nice and helpful and told us the best ways to get around Washington DC. Rooms were very clean. I only gave 4 stars because the beds we're like sleeping on a piece of wood

Nice clean hotel. Rooms are small and no view, but beds are comfortable and very conveniently located to sightseeing and restaurants. The valet parking is required, expensive and slow to get your car so add 20 minutes to you trip time when you want to leave.

Great staff, walking distance to almost everything. The walk to the mall takes about 30 minutes, 15 minute walk to the White House. Very reasonable price for the location. Valet overnight is $45/day, also one of the least expensive in the area.

A great hotel with friendly staff. You can't beat the location either. If you get a chance stop by Founding Farmers right down the street. Amazing food and drinks.

My hotel room was very historic. When in DC good views out of the windows are not something you expect. Walking distance to the White House. Good hotel. Decent.

The lobby was clean and comfortable and the employees were very friendly and courteous. They had bowls of fresh fruit like apples and oranges in the atrium which was great for a late night snack and was very nice to have while I was here. The room was clean and comfortable and although it was not the largest room I've ever been in, it was plenty of space for business travel purposes. They offer free breakfast here which was nice. They had hot food like eggs and sausage and toast. They also had yogurt, cereal and juice as well as a waffle iron to make fresh waffles. Pleasant stay overall.

The staff is very accommodating. The room itself is quite nice, though not particularly large and the closet is fairly small. The pool is a bit small, but unless you were coming to D. C. to go swimming you should be fine. The complimentary breakfast is good and stays open a bit later than most other hotels I've stayed in.

Location: great, Breakfast: Great. Parking: You have a valet option of $45 a day or to find street parking which is $2.32/ hr ( 2hr limit) on saturday, free on sundays. Its convenient to extend the parking with an app. The app can also be used around the city as well.

Room was a bit small but nice enough to make up for it. The central location really made it the perfect place to stay. Breakfast was super convenient in the mornings, just wish there was a bar or restaurant on sight. Overall had a great stay.

Family and budget friendly. My son and I stayed here for a quick weekend get away and it was everything we needed. We had a room with king bed. Room was small but modern and clean. Bed and pillows were just okay. I loved the complimentary hot breakfast in the morning. Location is great. Walking distance to the White House and a $7Uber ride to the museum's and mall. Staff was exceptional.

I was only in the lobby, went to visit a friend. The doorman was very nice and considerate. He allowed me to park in front of hotel for a few minutes, because all the parking spaces were full. They have a nice selection of hot chocolate and coffee in the lobby, nice lounge with television.

This is a very nice Hampton Inn in a super location. Due to its city location there are some challenges--parking and room size being the biggest, but we managed. The front desk and valet staff were SUPER friendly and helpful. Room was clean, breakfast was free--can't beat it!

This place has been impressive. John at the front desk is beyond amazing and Daniel who set up our roll away bed and provided extra towels was also excellent. As a Diamond member one sees many amazing employees throughout the year but even among the many great ones John is still a standout. Great service and attentiveness... on December 25 of all days when many employees would probably rather be at home he never lowered the bar of excellence. Thank you John for your outstanding service.

Great hotel- nice and clean and friendly staff. Breakfast has good selection and is tastey too. Coffee bar is awesome. Great location. Noise is noticeable but ear plugs are provided in room (Thank goodness!) Valet parking $50 (!?!) Probably the only negative thing to say about the hotel. Will return.

Sizable and comfortably furnished room. Hotel is conveniently located and easily accessible via the metro. Main downside is that the city noise can be quite present in the room so having high quality eat plugs is helpful.

Great place to stay if you're out of town and in D.C to sight see. Very near to the White House and all other museums and monuments. Extremely clean and very nice. The staff is extremely helpful and very nice. I will recommend this place to anyone and do see myself visiting again.

Hotel was well located between three of the major Metro lines, friendly staff at check-in. Chose a street face room (901) due to comments about a night club behind hotel - didn't hear a thing all weekend and I'm a light sleeper. Great location for monuments and museums. Breakfast was included and was excellent as was the access to free coffee and water all day (very useful in the heat). One point to note, due to the hotel being in a business district, weekend food options are a little limited but other than that, loved the stay!

The grounds are gorgeous ... Especially since it is just a sidewalk. Both inside and out, to the darkest corners, the hotel is as clean as can be. And all the staff was genuinely friendly with warm, welcoming smiles and eye contact demonstration their value of human connection. Even as I used the app's digital check-in and digital key which allowed me to skirt around the human connection, the over night staff still provided me an alert and attentive demeanor to assist with s all my crazy requests. This Hampton Inn is surely on point with Hilton's hospitality goals.

Very nice, clean, and well positioned hotel with the White House nearby. Staff is friendly, but the valet is slightly pricy (42 per night). The hotel is relatively inexpensive for what you get, making this a good deal overall. They have amazing bathroom mirrors here (seriously). Pool is small, laundry room is 2.00 per machine.

Nice hotel and staff but the beds are super hard. I've stayed here several times and it is a great hotel. Good location, super nice staff, clean. But the beds are so hard that I hurt all over by morning and it gets worse by the day. If you like a good nights sleep, you might try another place. IF you don't care how the bed feels, go ahead.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HoteIRaven. com Booked a room here and they had the cheapest rates around... Fantastic location if you're a tourist looking to visit the standard sites. Easy access to a Metro station. A quick walk to the White House and the National Mall. Plenty of food options close by too. The hotel itself is a typical Hampton Inn. Clean, comfortable and nothing fancy. The room was a bit on the small side, but plenty big enough for a family of 4. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgable about the local attractions. Parking was a bit expensive, but I guess that's to be expected in DC. We would certainly stay here again, but we'd probably park the car outside the city and take the Metro in.

Mildly disappointed by this Hampton Inn in DC. The location is prime - just minutes from multiple metro stations, close to the White House, and walkable to several major attractions (national mall is a 20 to 25 minute walk). Great front lobby/dining area, too. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by both the size of and the amenities of the guest rooms. The room felt cramped and not well appointed. The beds were comfortable (a little on the firm side). The bathroom was wonky (had plumbing issues occur). Absolutely no views from the guest room windows, and there is a night club in close proximity that pulses bass from 10:00 pm until 2:00 am EVERY night (even Mondays). It's very difficult to ignore, even with ear plugs (room still vibrates). Lastly, I felt that both the variety of choices and the quality of the food for the included breakfast was left a lot to be desired. If you want the location, it's acceptable. Otherwise, I would look at similar properties in other areas in and around DC.

The location of the Hampton Inn Washington DC White House is perfect for visiting all the sites of the capital. It is a budget hotel though and the rooms are fairly basic. The little shop in the foyer for buying snacks was a nice touch.

I was told that my parking fee was included with my room & that it would be $150.00 per night total. When I checked my bank statement they attached on an extra parking fee of almost 50 bucks per night. Thankfully we only stayed one night. Won't be staying there again. Rip off artists.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included and it was not a huge buffet but simple and fresh. The rooms were a good size, very clean and housekeeping was good. TV had heaps of channels for free which was good. Hampton Inn is a great affordable hotel which is better than you would expect for the same price. Location is also walking distance to the White House and tourist attractions.
