If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIBully. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!

Stayed in the hotel for two nights few years ago. I chose to stay there because it's close to the train station (Gare de l'est) that I was planning to board a train from, to another European city.
Pluses:
+ Location: A number of good places to eat, plus coffee shops. You are literally above a train station that can take you anywhere in Paris.
+ Rooms were clean.
Minuses:
- Rooms were extremely small.
- Breakfast was below average in terms of variety and taste. Having stayed in Paris for a while, I'd say it's the typical French breakfast (cheese, eggs, yogurt, toast etc).
Overall, I liked the hotel. The price was a bit high but that's because it's in the city center. I think it's not really a 4 star hotel. However, I did not have any issues with my stay and I don't mind staying there again.

Stayed here a week ago on a weekend visit and stayed in an executive suite. The room was lovely. Spacious, good air conditioning, balcony with restricted view.

The hotel service was fantastic. I arrived 2hrs early. They let me check-in straight away which meant I could have a lie down after a hectic journey. Location is superb. Buffet breakfast was included with a good selection. Coffee was good which is always more important for me! Get there early before it gets busy.

Centrally located to the eastern station. Erum easy to get around anywhere.
The hotel is not flexible
On having kids in a standard or king size room. Please book suite if you are travelling with kids.

Great location, nice staff. But do make sure that you put out sign not to disturb as the maid almost walked in in the morning without knocking. Also I think line 4 or 5 on metro is closed until December 2018 so you might need to use other less convenient lines. Internet is super slow though - 2mb/s

Spacious enough rooms, yet shower/bathrooms a little tight. Very clean, average wifi performance and great breakfast. Friendly staff.

The hotel renovation is now completed and the new rooms have a really quirky feel to them, far away from the bland Holiday Inn corporate image you may have. Location is good, especially if you are travelling to or from the GAre du Nord and de l'Est. Very nice the quaint canal saint martin area.. You can get really good room deal depending on the season which are hard to beat in expensive Paris

7

Generally happy with this hotel, though I don't like that you can enter the lifts and access the floors with the rooms without a card. As a woman traveling alone, I consider this to be somewhat of a safety issue. Otherwise, this is a pretty good hotel. The continental breakfast is good and inexpensive. Rooms are clean and modern. I will stay here again.

I requested a disabled room. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Typical Holiday Inn rooms, compact, well equipped and either overlooked the street or one of the many courtyards.

Stayed in the junior suite, quiet, wonderful room with the typical romantic french balcony overlooking the train station. There were some leakage from the bathroom that made the carpet bit damp, they didn't do anything when we reported it.

Metro station is just down below, so very convenient to commute. Restaurants & cafes are also around the neighborhood.

Overall good experience, will come back when we have the chance!

Very good. The location was very nice (exit#4 of the metro station for three lines). The room could be bigger but the facilities were all right

The bed was great, the cleaning wasn't so good. All the wall-to-wall carpets were so dirty looking. The materials at the bathroom were not so practical, plastic or similar. The sink and the floor of the shower look "yellow", not clean. Also why change towels daily? Let's save water. Yes, I told all this to the staff. The rooms were quiet!

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can see them on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

The initial check it was great! But the room is something of a story itself. If your American your going to expect the room to be larger. The room was cramped, so if you are planning to get into the room and stretch your legs or do a little bit of yoga, it isn't happening. The bathroom felt like it had more leg room than the bedroom, but this is Paris. The bath tub is what Americans would consider a safety hazard! The wall of the tub from the floor is at least 2ft high. So please take your time in and out of the bath. Courtesy of the staff was ok, unless your just trying to get a morning coke. I waited almost 10 minutes waiting for someone to serve me a coke. And don't think your going to go to breakfast to just grab a coke, they send you back downstairs to the bar. I even asked the front desk to call the person attending the bar, and he rudely told me to wait until they are ready. And don't expect the express checkout statement under your door in the morning of checkout. You're better going to the kiosk and checking out.

When we first got to the hotel the front desk was very helpful and friendly. It's right across from the subway/metro you can immediately get on and travel all over Paris. Breakfast is alright not to many options of food. There's alot of food places to eat near by. The hotel suite we stayed in is pretty good and spacious. I liked it alot

Nice rooms with modern design. Quite noisy even at 4th floor because of traffic. Staff was nice and gave me a breakfast for the go as I left early in the morning. Very conveniently located if you come from gare de l'est. Meeting rooms quite small but convenient

Stayed in an executive room as part of a Eurostar and hotel package. Nice decor throughout, overlooks the train station which is a very decent view. Room and hotel are well maintained and we had a tiny balcony to watch Paris from. Full price is ridiculously high but at our massive discount it was a decent option with easy access to transport options.

The room was too small. Hard to walk with the bed and chairs inside. No space to keep luggage. There was no iron and ironing board in the room (no space anyway). The elevator system was messed up (wrong elevator would open when going to top floor). Poor for the price.

The location was great! Tons of Cafe's, restaurants, and bars all within a short walk. Also plenty of public transportation. Employees were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and nice, had a great view and a mini fridge. I will definitely be back.

Normal room nothing special even for the executive room upgrade I received. I hate to think what a regular room is like...food location and value was so so. Really over priced in comparison to NA standards for a comparable room. Handy and for the right price worth it.

I have been staying in Holiday Inn for all my business trips. Never had any trouble so far. On my recent vacation to Paris I decided to stay in Holiday Inn, first time as a personal reservation. I used their website to book it. It said kids under the age of 12 can stay with their parents. So I booked a double bed room thinking that we all can stay(my kid is 4 years). After reaching there I was told that they can not allow 3 in a double bed room, and I have to take a suite. As I made a non-refundable reservation the double bed room is gone. However for the suite they charged me less. In this process I ended up paying few hundred Euros extra. Also they are charging a city tax of 10-15% on the bill which was not mentioned as well. I could have easily saved few hundred euros had I been aware of the charges in a transparent manner. There are many options around at the half the price of what I paid. I was also told that I can use the minibar and its free as it is a suite I am getting. Later i got to know they provide few soda cans and two packets of small patatoe chips. Lessons learnt: a little expensive hotel may not be good always.

Good for the price, there are better areas in Paris to stay, but the hotel in and of itself is fine. Nothing exceptional here just a good clean room to spend a few nights at a reasonable rate.

Usual holiday inn service spiced with the usual rude customer service you get everywhere in France. A bit hard to park as you need to unload on the road and then ask them about where to actually park your car. Nice rooms tho and ok breakfast.

House keeping left my window open in the middle of winter so my room was freezing. It was -4 celsius that night. When checking out the hotel guy claimed i owed more money for city taxes. The guy before me got money taken out of his bank account for 150 euros from this hotel as a security deposit.

There's a guy with a straight face and doesn't really open his mouth while speaking. I think he got surgery and can't smile or his implants will shift. However, as expected by a 4 star hotel, they have to have a certain level of customer service.

Prime location for younger folks exploring the city with some options at night like convenient store and such which hard or can not be found in area too touristy. Also it's newly renovated and pretty. May not be too safe at night if you think you're weak and can be a target. Avoid but regular young folks and couples. Recommend with a lower price tags then other hotels

Loved it. Excellent hotel and the managers were very accommodating. We stayed in the executive site on one of the top floors . It was clear that it recently came out of renovation and some of the features weren't properly fixed yet (e.g. the phone wasn't plugged in) but we got free breakfasts as compensation. The management wad understanding and the service thorough. The room itself was nice and comfortable.

This was our first time in Paris and this hotel was very accommodating. The front staff easily converts from French to English with no problem if one does not know how to speak French. The hotel room was cozy and just right. You have to pay to watch something on TV but hey you are in Paris and should be out and exploring anyways! Whenever we needed anything the staff worked quickly and professionally. We felt safe here which is a big deal for us. If you need a cab the front office calls right away for you, which is so nice of them. The complimentary breakfast was amazing and delicious!! So many options compared to hotels in America. We left the hotel very satisfied. This hotel is very close and in walking distance to Gare du Nord (which is where we came in from London) as well as across the street from the other main train station.

Thank you for everything!

Stayed May 23-25, 2014. Rooms and facilities were fine, great location for train & metro.

All encountered staff was very courteous and professional. However, one staff member covering the front desk, was exceptional.

Our (four adults) flight from the US involved cancellations, rerouting and of course arrival nearly 10 hours later than scheduled and luggage delayed by 30+ hours. Adonaya immediately came to our rescue. She gave valuable assistance with the airlines and the contract luggage delivery service and generally made us feel that we couldn't be in better hands. She was right!

Thank you Adonaya and Holiday Inn, you enable us to get a rocky start behind us and off to a great country-wide tour of France.
