We arrived late at about 1030pm. The valet and desk staff were wonderful. Explained everything to my family and I would treating us with respect. We had a suite that was 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a living space. The entire suite was great! Although two reading lamps we're not working and the TV did not have cable, I would recommend everyone spend a little extra to stay at this hotel. My family and I have now become Hilton customers for life.

I accidentally gave this place 1 star and the manager promptly contacted me to address my concerns. I am very impressed! However it was an accident because this place was phenomenal! Highly recommend. Affordable and convenient!

The staff here were very nice. The evening receptions were homey and the right size, and breakfast offered many delicious options. We were in a nice suite, which was spacious. However, the hotel felt a bit dated. The edges of our shower didn't look clean, with black spots and buildup. One of the bedside lamps didn't work, and our guidebook's pages were all out of order and upside-down (??). Overall we had a good experience, and the location was great for walking around the city.

My wife and I stayed here for half a week during a convention and what great service! Not one complaint! The desk clerk, Aaron, was fabulous. He is a master of his skill. The rooms were well kept, breakfast was plentiful, evening dinner was great, and the valet attendants were on point!

The Homewood Suites in downtown Dallas was generally satisfactory, however, I believe the property itself could be improved. I stayed at this hotel for a period of two weeks and was impressed with the front desk agent who checked me in and the evening reception. The warm cookies in the lobby each evening also make the hotel feel very homeish.

During my stay I also noted a fair amount of issues with the property. The air conditioning vent in my room leaked water on three different occasions. The first time I was away and returned to the hotel to see the desk, wall, and my computer wet. I was under the impression maintenance had addressed the issue but returned to the room to dripping water again a few days later. I contacted the front desk again about the problem again and was told management would ensure it was fixed. I was then woken up around 1am a few nights later to the sound of water drops. I feel simply offering me more towels to place under the leak is acceptable for one night however, I strongly feel if this issue continues to go unaddressed mold or mildew may grow in the walls.

Further, I walked into the elevator twice to see two very large cockroaches, I also saw one in the fitness center. Also, the AC in the fitness center also was not working at one point and the room was about 80 degrees. One of my friends attempted to use the fitness center phone to inform the front desk of the temperature and noted the phone did not work.

Rooms are generous in size. We had to leave notes for house keeping to leave enough linen. A little short on the details in house keeping. Only offer Valet parking at 30 per overnight. Cheaper options nearby. Social hour and breakfast are good and as expected. Staff are friendly.

I stayed with the Homewood Suites for seven consecutive weeks, and I was happy to call this hotel my home for that time. The complimentary breakfast (all week) and dinner (M-Th) were always great, the front desk was always friendly, and the rooms are spacious enough to live in for a few weeks.

Wow. I've had such a superb time at this hotel. First, the staff is absolutely incredible, and quite helpful. Second, the rooms are great, well-sized, and well-equipped! Finally, there are so many great amenities that aren't even advertised that prominently. There is a screening room which is really cool, a virtual golf simulator which works surprisingly well, and expansive lounge areas throughout the building.

The service was impeccable! I arrived early in the day unsure that they might be able to get me into my room, but Alexandria and Vince were so welcoming and found the perfect room for me. They gave me some perfect suggestions for lunch that fit my dietary needs. I will definitely visit Dallas again and will be staying at this hotel. Thank you Alexandria & Vince.

Very clean and well located hotel. Breakfast was free and good; scrambled eggs, a meat, a starch, fruit, oatmeal, and make-your-own waffles. Nice afternoon reception with a snack and drinks. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice workout room and pool in the basement. Rooms were big with a kitchen and full-sized fridge.

Cool hotel. In addition to friendly & helpful staff, plenty of fun activities within the hotel - virtual golf, movie room, basketball half-court, video game room & probably more I couldn't make it to in my time there. Without being a "resort", I felt like my friends & I could spend all our time here. Also, many food & activities within very short walking distance.

The staff at the front desk were great. Friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast and reception were great, but lacked options for vegans. Non-dairy milk would have been wonderful.
Housekeeping only tended to our room if we were out before about 9:30 and did not check back later to see if we were out. Therefore our room went a few days without service.
The heating in our room was very loud. For a light sleeper, I was woken up many times during the night.
On our last night a bunch of kids ran up and down the hallway knocking on doors.
Still, a clean and comfortable hotel in a great location.

Nice choice. They assigned our room for disable people when my fiancé was recovering from severe illness. It was near the city center, so I can go to my conference either by walk or by the DART. The DART station was also close to this hotel. One disappointing fact that grocery markets were not near this hotel if you did not rent/have a car.

Stayed at this hotel for a long weekend while visiting family in Dallas, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The room was very spacious (king corner suite) and the bed was super comfortable! Service was quick, friendly, and efficient. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool, and I love having a fridge, kitchen sink, etc in the hotel room. Free breakfast was not gourmet by any stretch but it was free hot breakfast - can't complain.

My only reason for knocking off one star is that the glasses in the kitchen next to the ice bucket were dirty - VERY dirty - and there were crumbs on the kitchen floor, when I pulled out the sofa bed there were crumbs and trash beneath the couch and on the mattress, and there were no sheets or extra pillows for the sofa bed in the closet - I had to call down to ask for them. Of course they arrived in less than 10 minutes so not a big deal at all. The shower had some black stuff (lint? I don't know) stuck on some of the walls and the bathroom sink had what looked like toothpaste stuck in it as well. The room as a whole could have been cleaner overall, but it wasn't awful by any means.

The $24/night valet is pretty common for all downtown hotels so I didn't mind paying it (you have unlimited in/out included), but make sure you call down/text for your car at least 30 minutes in advance because the valet station was understaffed all weekend and that was the minimum time it took to have my car pulled up.

Overall good experience. I would stay here again if in the area. The price wasn't too bad w/points as well.

Love Homewood Suites, in general, though the A/C in my room made significant noise when running, as well as the refrigerator. Like the blower and the motor we're going out. Had to use ear plugs.

Would appreciate connecting prior to our arrival. Thank you - Lynette Weel

For most of the staff -- five stars. Overall very nice facility. Good breakfasts.

However, for the housecleaning staff on the third floor, a minimum of one star. We booked a two bedroom suite for an extended, three night, weekend. Suite was not ready for check in until nearly 5:00 pm. Reason became clear after we got to room. Bathrooms were filthy -- lavatory faucet handles appear to not have been cleaned in months -- toothpaste remained on one of the handles. The shower in the king bedroom had mildew and mold at the corners of the shower door. Most of the grout in the shower had black mildew specs. The carpet had serious stains and was full of hair. Of course the housekeeping people had already gone home by the time we got in room. Front desk did comp us that first night. The next day, we pointed this out to housekeeping. As the saying goes, they did a "lick and a promise" at cleaning this. We let the front desk know again. They sent one of the key building maintenance men in with some serious cleaner and he got the shower clean. All was good for a while.

Around 8:30 that second evening the temperature in all the rooms climbed to around 78 degrees with what felt like 60% humidity and never did cool off until the next morning. We found out later that the chilling unit kicked off due to overload. The last night we were there, the same thing happened but staff repeatedly reset the unit so it stayed cool in the rooms.

We may have caught the establishment in an exception. However, be very cautious if you book a two bedroom suite -- there are only three of them in the property. It appears they get around to cleaning those units last if at all.

At least the beds were clean.

Very easy to find. I like that you have to use your key after certain hours to have access to the lobby. Was greeted by hotel staff including the patrolling security (just doing his job not alarming or need of worry). Everyone had smiles and the room was clean, big, with a kitchette and a view of downtown Dallas. Bed was comfortable and room has a separate seating area to just watch TV or have the option instead of just the bed. Doesn't feel like a hotel, perfect for a longer then normal visit.

We stayed here for one night on a trip through Dallas. This hotel and restaurant is really nice and convenient when traveling. We had sushi in the restaurant which was terrific and the room was beautifully appointed and quiet even though the airport is right there. Would definitely stay here anytime I had to travel through this airport.

Front lobby under construction but, rooms updated*
This review is based primarily on the wonderful doormen and valet. They were beyond courteous, quite down to earth and quite timely with retrieving our vehicle. The older gentleman (sadly didn't catch his name) was an astonishing conversationalist that swapped travel stories with me until my husband finished checking in. Speaking of checking in, the hotel had a completely full house from the night before, yet they were able to give us an early check-in+upgrade. From the marble entrance staircase to the oak mirrored elevators this establishment oozed with a nostalgic step back in time but, completely luxurious.
Our room/suite was lovely. But, the TV is set off to the left of the bed and a bit difficult to watch properly without rolling over. We were told our room had a view and if you consider the photos I've included to be a view then I suppose they are correct. ;)
There was also a housekeeping cart that was permanently parked in our hallway during our entire visit; odd but, not a huge deal.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We were greeted by a friendly receptionist and was given our key cards, along with a goodie bag that contained two bottles of water and Milano cookies. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable that we decided to sleep in instead of waking up for their complimentary breakfast. I'm sure it would've been delicious.

Clean and conformable. The rooms are full suites with stove tops and full size refrigerators. Beds are comfy. Breakfast is pretty good (and free). They have a small commissary that is not well Stocked. Everyone is very friendly. Parking is either $25 per night for on site valet parking or you can park 100ft away in an unaffiliated lot for $15 a night. The only downside is that the other lot is unprotected and across the DART tracks.

Overall I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly, especially Alejandra at the front desk. The location is pretty convenient and offers a lot of perks.

Free Wi-Fi
24 hour gym and pool
Free breakfast buffet
Free happy hour
Pool table (uhh snooker table)
Coffee served all day
Plenty of areas to work and meet

The room itself wasn't bad either. There were a couple of broken things but easily overlooked. The room was spacious with kitchenette, desk, and convertible sofa. Best part though? Outlets everywhere on all the lamps!

Front desk charged me a security deposit without telling me. I booked my appointment online, and the person at the front desk said he needed to see my card and ID, then swiped it. Didn't ask why, just figured it was to confirm he had seen it. Later I saw a $50 charge on my account, that wasn't mentioned when I booked online either! I asked why, and was told it was for incidentals or if I used anything in the room. I didn't use anything, but it's been a week now and I don't have the money back. I left my room spotless, and even took my trash with me. Didn't even use their soap, towels, or shampoo.

Other than that, the stay was great. The hotel is very clean. The rooms are very spacious and affordable, especially compared to the surrounding hotels. The breakfast was fantastic, and even though there were a ton of people there, the food never ran out and the staff was very polite. If I end up getting my surprise deposit back, I will definitely end up recommending this place!

I travel often for work and pleasure. My company put me up in this Homewood Suites during some corporate training I had earlier in the year. It was hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The room I received was massive and clean with a full kitchen and dishwasher. The actual hotel is smack dab in the middle of the city. The valet parking is quick and efficient but it doesn't even matter because there are a variety of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Fantastic experience 10/10

great staff. From front desk to housekeeping. Very nice, kid friendly. I had to drag the kids outside the hotel to do other things and enjoy the city, if it was up to them, we would have stayed in the same spot for 72 hours. breakfast was free, not great but fulfilling.

OMG i could sleep here all day. I travel a bit and this has to be the best bed, pillow and shower I've had in years. There is only me in the room so I have plenty of space. Kitchen area would be beneficial if I were staying longer.
There are tons of little places to eat at downstairs that opens to a dine and shop area. Never have to go outside. But if u do they have a shuttle that will take you.
The staff is awesome. The girls at check in always great me when I come in. Yes..Love it!
