ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

The location was convenient and easy to get to. The rooms were spacious and neat. The maid service was friendly, efficient and accommodating.

Overall the hotel is very nice. Rooms are large and true suites, staff is very friendly, and there are nightly appetizers and drinks. However, parking is limited and the area is very congested with traffic during rush hour. The rooms are very large and there is also an option for a 2 bedroom suite. Rates are a bit more but for the extra space it is worth it. Parking is limited as the lot is shared with the Comfort Inn next door. Location is fine, downtown Burlington isn't far away (

Love this place. My family and I have stayed here on multiple occasions. Staff is ALWAYS friendly and go out if their way to accommodate you. Breakfasts and week night snacks are delicious and offer a large selection. Rooms are in great shape, as far as wear, and clean. Pool, hot tub and gym are all kept very clean and are nice to use.

We think this place is awesome! The manager, John, has been so kind to us. We are from Arizona and are handicapped. They have gone over the top to make things so we are comfortable. Our room is so clean. The staff here are very nice. We would highly recommend this hotel. It feels like home.

Checked in online and was promised a room at the end of the hall. What do I get when I arrive? A room next to the elevators - exactly what I didn’t want. What the heck?

These are tiny rooms if you have stayed at other Homewood Suites in other cities. Also, very expensive to stay here. Recommend finding other accommodations. If you come for the colors right now, there are no rooms. Most trees still green at the time of this review.

I was at the hotel this evening and the general manager John was just lovely! I’m fact there was a family that had been staying with them for 6 months and tonight was their last night. John bought the entire family going away presents and had a cake celebration. What an amazing guy! What a great hotel!

This is the place to stay in Burlington! The service absolutely blew my mind. They have free food and beverage mon-thurs and also free shuttle downtown anytime. In particular, John who worked there was one of the nicest people I have ever best and epitomizes how customer service should be. He also gave us a Homewood Suites Cooler, brought our beers to our table, and recommended places to go. I would hire this guy anywhere! Other props to the drivers Eric and Mitch. They drove us where we wanted, told us about the local food, and were so enjoyable to be around. Please Stay here if your ever in Vermont!. Thank you for making our stay Magical!!

Loved staying here on a recent business trip. Everything is new, clean and well maintained. Great, modern lobby with cozy common area. Rooms are new - I have been in a few rooms and did not see any wear or tear on anything. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Great value for your money!

Visited Homewood Suites for an off-site work session. The staff were very pleasant, everything was clean and professional, and hot coffee was available in the lobby at 4pm. For anyone visiting the Burlington area and not interested in staying downtown, I would definitely recommend this conveintly located hotel.

The rooms are beautiful, with a full kitchenette, complementary dinner evening social (beer & wine included) and breakfast. We didn't use the fitness room, but it's open 24/7 and looked awesome! I have zero complaints, the staff is so friendly and helpful. Honestly, I wish I could just live here...

The one bedroom suite is quite spacious. More than enough space for two lodge comfortably. The kitchen contained a large refrigerator, two-burner stove, small sink, microwave, and dishwasher. I'm sure this would be convenient, but you're in Burlington and probably want to sample the local fare. I suppose the refrigerator would be a great place to chill some Heady Topper from the local liquor store. My room was in great condition, clean, and appeared to be recently and tastefully updated.

Breakfast was standard Homewood Suites fare -- completely adequate and highly convenient. Staff was very attentive and the large public dining area never was overcrowded in the morning. I did not partake in the evening small plates and drinks so I cannot comment beyond it exists.

The parking lot was regularly 80-90% full at night, so be prepared to park in the rear of the building. But never fear, there are rear and side entrances accessible via room card.

The pool area and gym looked well-maintained, but I cannot comment beyond that.

Locationwise, the hotel is very close to Burlington Airport and about a 10 minute drive to Church Street and all it has to offer. Being a bit off of the main downtown area means more reasonable room rates. The distance really isn't an issue if you have a vehicle at your disposal.

I highly recommend staying at this Homewood Suites if you're traveling in the area.

I think I have already rated this hotel in the past, but it bears repeating that this hotel has literally the most friendly and ingratiating staff of any hotel I have ever visited in my life, and I have been to a whole lot of hotels. The breakfast and the manager's reception basically justify the price of admission by themselves, particularly if you are staying during the week. And of course the rooms are the usual high-quality Homewood Suites variety, feeling basically like being at home... if your home were immaculately kept. If I have any complaints at all, it is that it seems impossible to get a good parking space, though the back door is very accessible so that is something :-)

I stated 45 days on the summer and now I am back on the fall for 45 more days. Place it's awesome, and manager is the best.
Breakfast it's great and complimentary drinks and food Monday to Thursday are a plus.
I don't need to look anywhere else while I'm at Burlington, I love this place.

This hotel and its amenities appear to be either me or at least newly renovated. Our room was nicely decorated, thoughtfully laid out, and meticulously clean. The included breakfast is better than your average in quality, though I have seen buffets with greater variety. We would certainly consider a return visit, even though the climate control in the room want up to snuff.

They were very accommodating of my service dog, which was a huge relief as I've had issues at other hotels. We got upgraded from a room with one king bed and a pullout couch to one with two queen beds and a pullout, which made the four of us much more comfortable. Breakfast was very nice! The hotel room was clean and the service was great. Very enjoyable overall.

This was probably the best hotel stay I've ever had. The hotel was nice and clean, the room was spotless and high quality with very nice fixtures and finishes, beds were comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the manager of the hotel was always smiling and greeting guests at breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, breakfast was awesome! They always had a full spread of everything you could want at breakfast time. They also had complimentary dinner from Monday through Thursday which was excellent and helped save me money when I wanted to stay in. The free hotel shuttle was a huge plus too seeing as how I did not have a car for the week I was working in town. They would pick you up and drop you off anywhere you want in the city! Seriously my only complaint about my stay (and this is nitpicking) was the fact that after a few nights, someone in the room next to me had dogs and they kept barking until 1am when I had to wake up at 5am for work. Not only that, another person who had dogs (possibly upstairs?) Had their dogs barking too because you could hear everything through the air vent and the dogs started barking at each other through the air vent. Very irritating if you're trying to get some quality sleep. I realize this isn't the hotel's fault, but just keep that in mind if you're looking to have a peaceful stay, you run the risk of having my situation because this is a dog friendly hotel. All in all though, this hotel was excellent and I would definitely stay here again when I town!

I was in South Burlington for 13 nights on business and brought my family, wife and daughter (19 months), along. The General Manager was exceedingly kind and patient with us, especially when we were snowed in for a couple of days. He treated ALL guests like family and made sure everyone was comfortable, fed, and had everything we needed. He also handled a very rude guest with patience and grace even though the guest treated the entire staff and other guests poorly. He has assembled a fantastic, customer-oriented staff in all aspects of the hotel. I left out names due to privacy, but EVERYONE, from breakfast to the evening social and reception to maintenance were extremely kind, personable, and professional, especially with our rambunctious toddler. They were quick to respond to requests, cheerful, and inviting. We’d like to give a special thanks to one in particular for all the high fives, fist bumps, and smiles with our little one and for making the stay fun.

Rooms get 4 stars because it's not our style of mattress, but it was still comfortable. Location gets 4 stars only because it is not downtown. However, the hotel offers a shuttle, but if you have a car, parking in downtown Burlington is pretty easy - download the ParkMobile app ahead of time- and parking is free at the hotel (unlike those downtown).

We have traveled the world, East, West, and everything in between, and have honestly never had a better stay or customer service. We look forward to future stays in South Burlington and have, and will, recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I stay in a lot of hotels throughout the year. This one is fantastic. The hospitality of all of the employees is above all. We enjoyed staying at the clean, spacious Homewood Suite with a full kitchen and living area for a very reasonable price. The location of the hotel is great too - right near I-89 and about a 10 minute drive into shops and restaurants in downtown Burlington. Overall great experience!

Our first stay with Hilton Homewood suites in Burlington. The staff (Cherlyn, Luisa and Yousef) were amazing and so helpful in every way. John, the General Manager personally drove us downtown on New years Eve! Again, Thanks John! Rooms are newly decorated and extremely clean. We have been going to Burlington for 30 years and have stayed at many other places. I would highly recommend this hotel....you'll love it!

Very nice hotel. It is very new and clean. The gym was very well equipped, and the pool was nice (although a little bit chilly). The free shuttle is a great feature, and the breakfast in the morning was good also.

Housekeeping was quite annoying however. At 8:30am on a Saturday morning, they were knocking on our door. Before I could even get up and get on some clothes, they had already come in the room. Our fault for not putting up the do not disturb sign, but they came back 2 times more- again at 9:30, and one more time at 10:30. Both times we had the do not disturb sign up.

John C. is an amazing GM. He's extremely accommodating and friendly and understands true customer service. The staff, in general, is awesome. The hotel still feels and looks new. The gym facility is spacious. The location is fantastic for shopping and travel to other parts of the state. My only gripe is the lack of dryers, as there is only one with 3 washers.

Well located, a short walk through the parking lot to University Mall and just down the street from Trader Joe's. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Nice evening reception, with hot selections, salad fixings, wine, beer and soft drinks. Suites are nice, if not overly large with a kitchen and all utensils you would need to prepare your own meals, if desired. Free 24/7 airport shuttle on the hour and half hour.

The place is great! Although I didn't like the way the room was set up too much and the bathroom door had drops on the top as if some kind of soda was launched upwards at some point. Other than all that its a very nice comfy place. I love the way the sheets smell so fresh

The room we were given was supposed to be a double room but only had one bed. Along with that, candy wrappers were scattered all over the place upon arrival, as well as a chewing tobacco tin. My main concern with their service is their cleaning crew. Had a child been in our presence, one could've easily accessed a substance illegal to minors, and a used one at that...
