One of the customer service oriented hotel I have ever stayed at. Staff was extremely friend and helpful. I highly recommend staying here due to the pure service they provide. The room was clean and fully stock. This staff deserves recognition from front desk to house keeping. Thank you for helping us durning our stay

I chose Homewood Suites because I was staying in Maryland for two weeks and needed a hotel that could accommodate a longer stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean, the evening socials were delicious and relaxing, and I felt very much at home here. I didn't feel confined to my room, but welcomed into the common areas. The gym was small but had a good selection of weights and space for stretching. It is a very warm and inviting place and I will gladly come back when I am planning longer travel plans.

The hotel is up a hill and not visible where you turn in - was a bit confusing with other hotel buildings around, but listen to your GPS and turn where it tells you to. Otherwise, was a nice experience - the hotel staff was friendly, breakfast was standard fare but good for the price. Definitely recommend.

Location to the airport is great with free shuttle running. Free breakfast is OK and is enough variety to make everyone happy. Try to not get a room facing the courtyard. Windows in the rooms are not great at soundproofing and every night people were cooking on the outdoor grills , playing music loud and complaints to the front desk did not fix the problem. Rooms are large with a full kitchen with dishes but no stove. Full size refrigerator with built in ice maker. Free managers meal every Monday thru Thursday.

The rooms here are big and spacious. I really like the kitchen area and the sitting room. The lighting is suprisingly dim in both the living area and bedroom, but there's a glamour mirror and bathroom that are twice as bright as you might expect. This is one of the few hotels that I have stayed in where check in at 3 p.m. really does mean 3 p.m. I arrived in the morning for a conference and there was no room available for me literally until 3:20. I was supposed to get a text message letting me know my room was ready, but that never happened so I'm not sure if that service is actually effective or not. Overall and pleased with my stay here and enjoyed both the food service on Monday through Thursdays as well as the friendly staff at the front desk. Would stay here again.

This property was not my first choice but it was a great choice for my family reunion. My concerns when finding a hotel was cost, room sizes, indoor pool, grills, kitchen,.meeting space, location and reviews. There had been a few bad reviews that had me pass this hotel by but when I learned the other similar hotels in the area didn't have availability or meeting room I narrowed it down to here and two other places.

In the end this was a good choice although a bit over our budget. It hit most of my marks. Usually I get a free meeting space or room after booking so many rooms and they didn't do that here even after asking. The cost was also higher then the Springhill (kitchen, grill) or Residence Inn (few double rooms) but the other two didnt have all my requirements. The other Homewood Suites in the area one was booked full and the other had an outdoor pool. The other similar hotels outside of Residence Inn looked not up to par when visiting

Everyone in my group loved the rooms and hotel. The service from the group planner Dawn was excellent she helped everyone get the accommodations they needed. I came and toured the property before signing the contract to compare to other hotels in area on my list and this was a hands down winner. They need more Homewood suites it will be my go to hotel for now on.

The meeting room was a good size too. My group got a bit loud in the lobby but no issues from staff or other guest. The hotel was full this weekend we stayed with a wedding, our Reunion, and a sports team in addition to regular guest. We ran late in the meeting room the first night and the staff were nice about it. On the last night we left to go to dinner before getting everything out and again no problems with staff

I wanted extra towels after using ours to go to pool no problem from staff. (Homewood Munster, IL a few weeks ago made us exchange towels so I was worried). Pool does have towels but I wasn't sure.

My great uncle had a medical emergency staff again helpful beyond measure. Called EMS, kept us updated, etc. Even asked about him later.

The rooms are really nice and updated. The weather changes outside left the rooms cold but it would if been the same at home. In morning it was raining, damp and chilly in afternoon hot and at night damp again outside so I was playing with the thermostat to get it right a d never did get fully comfortable but I blame it on users and mother nature not hotel.

The staff was so helpful, we forgot toothbrushes they had them. The grills an awesome touch just wish they were covered ad I've seen at other Homewood I've looked at. Hit tub out of order but Dawn let me know this although I kept hoping it'd be fixed before our visit. My only disappointment was breakfast I love waffle stations at hotels because it ensures you get something hot as pancakes are usually not. Also two days in a row it was sausage I expected bacon at least one of the days.

For the most part I heard nothing in my room and the layout of the hotel ensures folks in the meeting space, lobby or dinning area don't disturb those in their rooms. The fire alarm went off on Friday in the middle if the night but stopped quickly not sure what that was. My room was by an exit door on first floor and if you're a light sleeper avoid any rooms by outside doors. The door closing is loud. For me it was no problem. Parking space was at a premium since the hotel was sold out but I found a spot way in the back when returning from dinner on Saturday night. It is well lit though and there were lots of cameras inside the public areas

Overall this is an excellent property with great staff who were pleasant, helpful and took pride in the property they worked at. I spoke to one maintenance person on the elevator telling him how much I liked the place and staff. His response "we think of our guest as guest at our hone and try to treat them as such"! I can tell by how great they take care of the property and the excellent service.

Very noisy air conditioner that wake us up in the middle of the night every time it turn off and it was a hot day and the air did not go below 69 degrees. In the morning around 8am the housekeping lady open our room door without even knocking, when she noticed there was someone there she close it fast. We are never going back here!

Great place to stay. Stayed for a wedding, and there were a lot of us staying there. Because there were so many of us, we got one of the meeting rooms free for a night. Rooms are large, comfortable, and have many accommodations. Very good staff who helped along every step of the way.

I would not recommend this location as a Wedding Hotel.

I have a list of concerns and stresses this hotel added to my wedding day, and aside from Dawn (our hotel block manager), the majority of the hotel staff was curt and unprofessional.

- They shuttled my guests to another wedding location and they almost missed our wedding.

- One of our guests was checked in to a room that was supposed to be marked out of service. They ended up being moved, but shouldn't have experienced that hassle. Our rooms had obvious wear and tear damage that hadn't been addressed. FYI, you cannot get 2 Bedroom Suites together on the same floor.

- I paid extra for coffee service during our Brunch held at the hotel, and it took 20 minutes and me asking twice to get it re-filled.

-Their key cards turn off one hour prior to check-out. If you plan on packing your room up during the hour before check-out (like everyone else), expect multiple trips to the front desk to get new key cards. This is hands-down the most frustrating policy I've ever heard of.

- The weekend of mine, and two other weddings, they decided to re-pave the parking lot. They called our rooms at 8 AM to inform us to move our cars, and unhelpfully wake up us the morning of our wedding.

This hotel added a large amount of stress to my wedding day, and considering the amount of money I spent, and the business I brought to a hotel with the Hilton name, I expected fantastic service. While Dawn was lovely to work with, I still wouldn't recommend this hotel to a wedding party.

staff was nice, food was good, air conditioning in room did not work and no I did not complain, maybe I should have but I am not that way. Room was 76 degrees and would not get colder and of course the windows don't open. Nice property and everyone was friendly.

It's the small touches that make a hotel brilliant and make you feel at home and this hotel does not have those small touches. Also my tub does not drain and I was given no bottles of water. Doesn't seem like a huge deal but I travel every week Monday to Friday and stay with Hilton and they have always given me water when I check in and one of the small touches I speak about is some of them leave them in your room and bring up two more every day for when you get back from work. Take notes homewood suites.

This hotel is very nice and I recommend it to most people. The rooms are well appointed and the lobby is clean and looks updated. A word of caution, though, to anyone confined to a wheelchair. The handicapped accessible room was literally the furthest possible room from the lobby and the carpet was very thick, making pushing very tiring. Also, the roll in shower was setup such that you cannot reach the controls from the shower chair. I recommend finding a different hotel if you are confined to a wheelchair.

Comfortable and free breakfast and dinner on most weekdays. Has computers / printer available off the lobby area. Also a shuttle service to the airport. People are friendly and helpful. Accommodations are a dual-room layout and have an almost full sized refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, stove, dishwasher, sink, and all basic dishes to cook and eat with. I would stay again.

I have stayed at a dozen Homewood suites in the last 7 years and rarely had cause to complain but this property was below standard. Both bathrooms in the 201 suite had damaged ceilings and what appeared to be black patches of mold forming. The shower head literally came out of the wall while adjusting it and the water actually came out yellow when starting it. The deadbolt on the door didn't lock as it wasn't properly aligned with the door frame. I had three poor experiences in a row in Hagerstown last week and Du Bois, PA last year. C'mon Hilton. I'm a fan of the brand but not for much longer.

Good location, rooms offer decent amenities and it is close to BWI airport however the property needs to update the rooms badly. Some rooms show significant signs of age with sloppy patch work from water damage as well as some large settling cracks in the walls. I'd stay in an overnight position only but for multiple days I'd look for alternate options. Not horrible but not worth the overnight costs.

The accommodations suite my needs. The kitchen leaves a bit to be desired and the coffee maker isn't traditional like I am used to but there's fresh coffee served in the morning and for my stay I've been adjusting my style of chef.

The one thing I have noticed though is that rooms will encounter an ant problem. It hasn't been the case with me but others have reported it and staff has been prompt with dealing with it.

Good Facility with Poor Service

The rooms were we spacious and provide a wonderful ambiance. But the cleanliness of the room and fridge in the room needed some serious cleaning. Also, the room where I stayed had a broken bulb, with a small toddler in the room I was worried. No one took care of it even after I complain to the front desk.

Where do I start? The first night, we apparently received a menu with a "typo" as the clerk called it. The menu said dinner was until 8. Went down at 7:15, no dinner as it was only till 7... Glad the menu has the correct time so we had to waste money going out.

Then the air conditioner... First room, AC crapped out and clerk was confused as why we'd want a room with working AC when it was 80° outside. To their credit, the maintenance staff was fantastic, tried to fix and even offered to help move all of our stuff to the new room. Pushy cleaning staff was confused as to why I was waiting for new room key before vacating my room...that they had just cleaned 2 hours prior.

So the new room... AC died in it too. Luckily, great maintenance staff to the rescue again and got it resuscitated. Door handle nearly broken on outside, very hard to open, bedroom window that doesn't open.

And then there's breakfast... Menu items randomly change, no waffles on Saturday, coffee is terrible, no hot cocoa! Oh the humanity!

I only gave the hotel 2 stars because at least the maintenance staff tried... Otherwise, this Homewoodneeds to step it up as it doesn't even live up to the Homewood brand.

The staff are very friendly and seem to try accommodate but I can't give this place 5 stars because the key card locks are sketchy at best. This was very frustrating. The decor is probably out of the 70s and does need to updated desperately. But the beds were fairly comfortable and the water pressure and shower heads are phenomenal. I have stayed there twice in 2 years but I think I would wait a couple of more years to go back in hopes they would have tI'm to get new locks.

I was greeted very warmly when I came in and I had a nice room. I had to leave in a hurry the next morning and I left my phone charger. I received a text message to thank me for my stay so I decided to text back and see if they could locate my charger for me (it was expensive and it's hard to find a good charger). Devonte was so kind and took the time to check my room with one of the housekeepers to make sure it was still in the room. He was able to locate it for me and is even sending it to my home in Raleigh. Love the staff and will definitely be back again!!! Thank you sooooooooooo much Devonte!!!!

Extremely friendly staff. Breakfast is ok. But the social nights have great food. No free alcohol though like the Embassy ,😮 avoid the first floor near the pool . For some reason the door is kept open when people are swimming and you can hear very excited kids screaming and yelling and while walking down the hall

Was surprised with the quality of hospitality. The room and everything was great but the staff was truly great and made the stay wonderful. Every single staff member we interacted with was very kind, courteous, and professional. Devonte at the front desk was seriously an angel and one of the best hospitality workers I've ever encountered.I was able to check in around 830am even though my scheduled check in time was 3pm. Along with dealing with my constant needs (I called the hotel with questions probably 7 times before arriving) I saw Devonte work some serious magic getting people on their flights that leave in 30 minutes even when the shuttle was unavailable. The staff is seriously all star status at thos location I would recommend this place to anyone based off of the wonderful staff alone.

This Homewood Suites is a gem. The staff here are good people. They're kind and efficient. My room was clean- I've a severe dust mite allergy and it was an unusual pleasure to have no reaction. The outdoor commons area has a fantastic barbeque area, a fantastic pool, and the gym was adequate. Theres a Starbucks in walking distance and a shuttle to take you to nearby restaurants. There aren't any restaurants in walking distance at the moment (2016) but there's development in walking distance for a few fast food joints, so by 2017 there should be done food very close. I've stayed in all the Lithium hotels and the two nicest hotels downtown - and this is my favorite.

Although I am really enjoying my stay, some of the staff members are a little rude.

First; One of the Cleaning ladies rolled her eyes at me when I mentioned that I needed another wash cloth.

And secondly; My family and I decided to go to the pool, but (we were the only ones in there) after being in there for maybe 30 mins, the lifeguard began cleaning the pool. I understand that my daughter and I have long curly hair (we're afro american) that was floating around, but I felt that it was rude for him to clean the pool while we were in there. He could've waiting, I mean..... We're still swimming. My husband and I was bothered so we left.

Other than mentioned above. This hotel is pretty cool and I love the 5-7 social hour. Saved us from buying dinner.

We had a quick overnight stay before an early morning flight. Checked in around midnight and the front desk associate was pleasant and quick with checking in. Room was nice (wish we had more time to enjoy it). Upon check out we were reaffirmed that they allowed for the vehicle to be stored on site for the duration of our trip. Grabbed the complimentary shuttle to bwi and away we went.

The first room we were in had multiple issues. Broken dishwasher, no utensils, dirty tub and more. We spoke to the general manager, just to let them know, and she moved us to a new room, offered a free movie, etc. Overall the service was great, and well worth the trip.

The hospitality and kindness by the staff was amazing. Jasmin from the front desk is amazing and she is always making sure that you feel at home. I would highly recommend this place when in the area.

I stayed here a year ago for a 26 day-long work trip and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I was in a one bedroom suite and felt like I was in an apartment so it helped my work trip feel more like I was staying in a home and not in a hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Can't comment on pricing because my company paid for the visit. Plus free daily breakfast and free dinner 5 nights a week helped a lot. Baltimore is known for being a bit of a rough and tumble town but this hotel is in a very safe location just off the BW Parkway and down the road from BWI Airport. If I ever need to travel to the Baltimore area again for business, I'll specifically request that my company puts me up in this hotel again.

Always pleasant experience. Spacious 2 bedroom suites. Second stay here. Carpets need changing. Love the shuttle facility. And so convenient for shoppung, ebtertainment and BWI. Gym could do with a little more space. Breakfast staff needs to foresee timely refills especially during family-oriented weekends. They were frankly overwhelmed. We missed their waffle machine. Good value overall.
