Certifications

ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity
• Use eco-label housekeeping products
• Use sustainable forestry certified paper

ISO 50001

ISO 50001 is based on the management system model of continual improvement also used for other well-known standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. This makes it easier for organizations to integrate energy management into their overall efforts to improve quality and environmental management.

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

I have 10 kids and my friend has 3. Between the two of us, we only had to get two rooms! A-MAZ-ING! One room slept 8 and the other slept 7! It is so hard to find a hotel room for a large family, and not only was this accommodating, the price was awesome to boot! The rooms were clean and spacious, kitchenette was lovely, and breakfast was good, considering Covid limitations. Thank you Homewood Suites for taking care of us. :)

Definitely my new favorite hotel to stay in when I visit Albuquerque. There's room for improvement but I think the room I was in, location, polite and attentive staff, and layout give it good foundation to boast. I will be coming back here again and would be happy to elaborate on my stay if anyone's listening

We have a large family, seven kids, and we where able to get a room that was really two bedrooms and a living/kitchen area and for a good price that slept all of us very comfortably. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful the whole time. The beds where comfortable for everyone too. We will be checking here first for all our trips this way.

Was really surprised on how nice this hotel was for the price. I’ve been staying at the Hampton Inn down the street the last two times I’ve came to Albquere for work, but I wish I wold have went to Homewood. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re traveling but want a nice kitchen to make your own food so you don’t have to eat out all the time. The rooms are really nice. One of the few hotels that makes me feel comfortable and at home. Staff is great as well.

You won’t find a nicer place to stay in this area than the Homewood. The place is very clean and the rooms are spacious. They have everything in the room that you need to stay long term if necessary. Breakfast every morning and light snacks every night except weekends.

Good hotel, conveniently located, reasonably priced. Clean rooms, OK breakfast. They serve food in the early evening that passes as dinner in a pinch, but it would be a lot better if they had beer on tap to go with it

I didn't stay overnight, but after attending an event there it seems like a nice hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, the location is pretty convenient, and it seemed clean and well-kept. Parking was a bit of an issue, but I expect it was due mostly to the event, and the other several adjacent hotels.

We had a communication issue, between Priceline, and the hotel. Our 'confirmed reservation' was not received by hotel. The management and staff were very helpful, and accommodating getting us the room we originally requested. I was very happy with the hospitality we received.

I stay exclusively at Hilton properties and I love the Homewood Suites. This one is very clean and located just off the airport property. Really its within walking distance to the ABQ Rental Car Center. Staff was very friendly at check in, and the best thing about this place is they have guest laundry. The guest laundry is located on ALL 4 floors. Most sites you are lucky to see 1 washer and dryer on a lower floor.

Could definitely go for some renovating. Nearly the last hotel down that streak of the four/five of them. So I can understand why the property seemed a little cramped. But very polite & helpful staff; I only got list twice.

Stayed here for three nights on a family vacation. We had a great room that had two bedrooms two bathrooms and two queen beds with one king bed and a pull-out sofa in the living room. The room also had a kitchenette with a working stove and full size refrigerator. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Pretty clean rooms. We booked the two-bedroom suite. Large and spacious for our family. Agree with other reviews that beds and pillows are comfy. Guest services are kind and accommodating. A couple small issues: shower in queen bedroom suite has a leak, and fridge is on the fritz so is loud when turns on. Breakfast was standard fair. Would be helpful to have more than one waffle iron and common syrup container. Overall, though, great experience. Would gladly stay here again.

Okay these people were so nice. We had a reservation for Saturday then last minute we needed one for Friday. When we had to change rooms, they offered to move our stuff to our new room, so we didn't have to load it back up and come back at 3 for our other room and unpack. Super awesome. Breakfast is okay. Not bad, but not great. Will come back!

The walls are paper thin on the conjoined wall and the only dryer that worked was on the first floor for my entire two week stay. They also don't have free beer and wine like the other homewoods. The staff are all very nice and helpful. Very conveniently located next to the airport.

Great room at a great rate. Our large family always chooses a Homewood Suites, when available, because they are so spacious and the breakfast is substantial. This one did not disappoint. Great breakfast and the room was huge. We got the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite.

So I got upgraded to a room with both a king bed on one room and two queens in the other room. Each room had it's own bathroom. The suite also had a long room and kitchen. So the room was HUGE. Fairly nice as well. For some reason though, the water in the shower never heated up. I stood there for several minutes and it just wouldn't heat up at all. The water in the sink also drained very slowly when I brushed my teeth.

Great breakfast. Different items each morning of our 3 night stay. The one bedroom suite could use some more light switches to split off lights (one sticks switch controlled all of the entry lights, kitchen lights, dining room lights...).

This has been my home away from home as I travel frequently to Albuquerque on business. The staff is wonderful, I love the kitchenette and the large living room and bedroom. They have dinner M - Th which is wildly convenient and as often as I am there, they do switch up the menu monthly. The rooms are recently renovated, it is very clean and I always feel very safe. I highly recommend this hotel to families and to business travelers.

Thank you Homewood Suites for making my extended stays comfortable!!

The best Homewood Suites experience to date. Clean and comfortable. With the exception of calling for Balloon Festival information the day before arriving and being told they have no idea and no information, then arriving the next day and when asked about which Park and Ride we are using, then told, 'oh, you should have called us, there's one much closer'...... (Grrrrrrrr)
The stay was perfect.

Very nice hotel. The staff are courteous, rooms are clean, spacious, and well maintained. Breakfast and dinner are good - there is a decent variety, food is freshly prepared and always tastes good! The gym has a few treadmills and weights and the wifi works well. Only negative is that since it's close to the airport you can hear planes all night. On the flip side - the airport shuttle is super quick. They're finalizing a renovation of the hotel so everything is nice and new and clean!

It was a nice place. The rooms were very nice, the service was great, and the atmosphere is good. It's location allows you to get to places quickly. The only thing that was below average was the pool, a little bit to small, but overall great place to stay.

The rooms were well kept and for the most part everything was nice. They put my family in two rooms though that didn't connect because they were undergoing renovations. This was not really a problem but it was a bit frustrating. The reason I am not giving it five is because the room smelled like cigarettes. Overall it was good though.

Things I liked: Staff is pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good. My floor was recently redone and the furniture is nice. My suite had a door separation between the living and sleeping areas. Room was clean.
Things I didn't like: Pool is very very small, outdoors and freezing (not heated) and the hot tub was broken the entire time. That was really disappointing cause my toddler was really looking forward to swimming. air conditioners were so loud and always running. one is right next to the TV so you have to choose between hearing the TV or being comfortable. There is no fan in the bathroom.

I had checked in online 1 day prior to my arrival. My room was not available and I was given another. When I got to the substituted room I was disgusted by the extremely worn and heavily stained carpet. I called the front desk and the clerk was apologetic. I was given another room and it was in much better condition. I had a pretty fitful night's sleep due to a fairly strong odor that I think was insecticide residue. In short, I have always used Hilton properties because I have always, up to this point, found them to be consistently well managed and problem free. I guess I found the exception to the proverbial rule.

Room size good, heater broke on arrival. Fixed the next day. Painting removed from wall exposing electrical box, never replaced. Took luke warm showers 2-3 times, including last night. Courtesy Driver dropped me off on the opposite side on baggage claim instead of at the departure entrance!

The daily breakfast was excellent and punctual. The area was clean with friendly atmosphere.

Great service and friendly staff, but thin walls that I could hear every cough of the guy in the room next door. Also had the smoke detector go off randomly at 2:30 in the morning... Called the front desk to make sure there wasn't actually a reason for it going off!

The room was OKAYish. I'm not sure who the girl was at the front desk at 3AM but GOOD LAWD she was gorgeous! Gabriella? Gabby? I'm not sure but I Had to find a jeweler open at 3 in the morning to buy a rock to propose. So here's how it goes I went down for some cookies and milk because, you know, I'm fat, but then I saw her and about had a heart attack. I made every social media, dating, miscellaneous connections accounts I possibly could to find her. So basically what I'm saying is find her and give her an award or my number.

I've been to several Homewood Suites and really loved them. This one was disappointing. It started out when we had requested a non smoking room. We got a non smoking room, but it was on a smoking floor. And it stunk. Fortunately they could move us. But it was a pain to have to do that. My other issue was breakfast. The bread was stale and the bagels were hard. Hopefully tomorrow's breakfast will be better. Also at other Homewood Suites they give you wine and beer in the evenings. None here

We stayed here for the Gathering of Nations on April 2016. This is where I will be staying when I am in Albuquerque. The breakfast was good and the rooms were clean. Although I had an incident with my booking that was my fault, the staff did everything in their power to resolve my issue. The location is not far from several places to eat and just about anything you need on a trip to Albuquerque. Anna was top-notch when it comes to making sure your stay is as perfect as can be.

This place has gone down hill fast, which is unfortunate. I travel to Albuquerque regularly for business and my last stay here was 27 April 2015 to 1 May 2015, I have stayed here about six times before that. This time I was staying for three weeks on an extended business trip, my team and I worked with the sales staff to stay the entire time, it started out as the only thing the staff did to go out of their way, or to actual do anything to be helpful at all. First, I was coming in early in the morning the front desk said that they had it taken care of and would see me soon. Of course that turned out to be that they canceled my reservation, and had to get the general manager (after 30 minutes) who then somehow was able to put me in the smallest room with the worse wi-fi signal possible. Housekeeping was inconsistent at best, she seemingly couldn't bring herself to take out the garbage, or wipe anything down.

The food for both breakfast and social hour use to be really good, but is now nearly uneatable. The social hour is the worse, and unless you have a family of six, might as well just skip it and go to subway down the street.

The kicker to this poorly serviced, and at time rude staff is that my air conditioner in the middle of July goes out. After reporting it several times, the maintenance people decided to "fix it" by fix it I mean it doesn't work at all, still and was torn apart when I came back to my room. There was no message as to what is going on, and the carpet is soaking wet and 80 degrees and humid as I write this review.

I get that there are people that will only stay Homewood Suites, just avoid them all in Albuquerque, as they are managed by the same company who runs it like a Motel 6.

Here is what we did like. Nice rooms, breakfast was good, clean hotel. Now the bad part. We arrived early evening for our first night, checked in, got the key cards, went to our room, had some extra pillows and towels sent up, no wifi but we can get along without it. The next day our cards don't work, the room has not been touched, wifi still not working. We went to the desk to find out what was going on and discovered the clerk did not check us in the night before so our room showed up as a no-show. That's easy to forgive and not really a problem but the front desk was not very understanding or friendly about restocking our room. The next morning we discovered out car was broken into during the night. I realize that hotels generally will not take responsibility for your vehicle but a little understanding from the front desk or the manager would be nice. The front desk did not even pick up a phone for us just rattled off a number for the police department. There are cameras in the parking lot but the one above our car was missing and the next one was facing a tree. If Homewood would install a fence or get better security my wife would feel better. Buy your front desk staff some personality and we might come back.
