My friend was having her wedding in Long Beach which meant I needed a Hotel. I immediately looked on Yelp for a Hotel nearby her reception and Hotel Current appeared along with a Yelp deal. The one aspect of this hotel that drew me in was the King Tub Room. I bought the yelp deal and called the front desk for reservations.

We got a bit lost when driving in but ended up entering through the back. It's pretty obvious this was a motel that was renovated. When I walked into lobby, the space looked very classy and upscale (you would never think it was that nice when you're outside).

I really enjoyed the art work in the hotel room! The pool area was so relaxing! The complimentary breakfast every morning was a life saver! And the staff were so professional and on point with room service! I'm going to recommend this place to all my family and friends coming to visit me!

This property is an absolute dream. If we ever decide to getaway and visit So Cal again this place is definitely on our list to return to. Beautiful place with plenty of food options that are delicious and views that go on for days as this property sits right along the southern California coast line. Loved walking the property or simply relaxing with a cocktail in hand to take it all in.

A really nice, high-end resort that will break the bank...unless you have the money to spend. I would rather use the money to travel abroad rather than pay $450+ per night at a hotel room, but that's neither here nor there.

The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the views are stunning, the restaurants are good and the service is great. I've been to 2 of the restaurants at the resort and have had good experiences at each of them. It's a great place to grab some brunch/lunch and walk around.

They also have a spa on site that I hear is really good; sounds like I need to plan a girls day.

Stayed here for 24 hours and had a wonderful time. Everything about this hotel is Ritz. The ambiance, decor, and especially the service. Parker Passman and staff were superb. Sarah at the front desk was everything you could ask for, polite, smiley and efficient. The spa here is my new favorite. Hands down the best spa experience. Thanks for an incredible stay!

Dinner is provided with free beer and good! Very nice rooms. Only complaint is the quality of service. Occasionally the bathroom will have less towels than when I arrived. They have an outdoor pool and a nice breakfast/dinner area. They also have a conference room. Would recommend but they could definitely improve!

Loved how central the suites were. Rooms are elegant and clean, formal breakfast and diner, ALL the amenities of home. Price is far given everything offered. Service is impeccable, extremely helpful and attending. Will definitely refer people.

Incredibly adequate if you are on business for the corporate park on feather sound drive as it's walking distance. Would not recommend if you're on vacation as there is nothing around. Hot breakfast is a step above continental. Rooms include a kitchenette so you're not limited to takeout constantly.

Over all, the lobby and dining areas looked fresh and clean. My room (suite) was clean and comfortable. However, I had the room that was the absolute furthest from the lobby. That made for a long walk for the evening meal and breakfast, which were both very good.

Enjoyed my experience here. Nice hotel that is relatively close to the airport and other tourist attractions in Saint. Petersburg. Breakfast was good. Electronic key cards were convenient.... when they worked. We had to keep getting new ones until I decided to just download the app and use my phone. Pet policy isn’t too bad. We brought our four legged friend Jax! Would stay again if visiting the area as an intermediary stop (not final destination).

I had a below average stay here, but I would hope that this is not the norm. My a.c. went out, and night staff could not and would not fix it... key cards had to be reprogrammed multiple times... $h@# happens... other than that, hotel is beautiful and breakfast layout is very very good.

Homewood Suites always has consistently nice rooms. Very clean and comfortable. My two small complaints are:. 1. The place is sooooo spread out. I'm at the far end and it's quite a hike to get to breakfast. 2. Speaking of breakfast - when I got there, the only fresh fruit they had was bananas. Ironic, huh? I'm in Tampa, FL and there are no oranges.

My daughter in law stays here when she visits. Very nice. Love the pool area with the cover at the end if you get too much sun it's nice to have a shady spot but you can still stay out and visit.

This is the first time we stayed at a Homewood Suites and it won't be our last. We were in Clearwater to visit family and friends for Thanksgiving. The location was easy to get to (we drove down from Atlanta) and close to close to our friends plus it is a straight drive to Indian Rocks Beach.

It looks to be recently remodeled. Our king room suite was clean and roomy. We were there for 3 nights so the extra room and full kitchen was nice to have. There is a nice area that breakfast and dinners (M thru Th) are served free. Also, there is a very nice outdoor patio/pool area just behind the indoor eating room to enjoy.

Staff was very friendly. The bathroom was disgusting. Pink mold behind the door, on the shower curtain, and in the corner of the tub. I’m almost positive that the bathroom hasn’t seen a cleaning product in a month.

The bed was the most uncomfortable bed that we’ve ever slept in at a Hilton. The room had a lot of potential to be a nice stay but the shower really was the nastiest I’ve ever seen at a Hilton. We’re Diamond Members so we’ve stayed in our share of Hilton’s. We won’t be back to this location.

Great Motel, staff was very accommodating, convenient check-in and check-out times, and only 2 miles fro PIE. Great place to stay the day before flying home after a week of vacation. Even a gas station on the way to airport. Clean, roomy, and great breakfast.

I stay at the Homewood Suites every time I come to the area. The hotel is a nice place and the staff is very friendly. Check in is very quick and they offer a nice selection of rooms and their breakfast and light appetizer happy hour is great.

The last couple of rooms I stayed in were less than desirable. The walls seem a bit thin and I can hear people talking in the adjacent rooms. The showers and toilets had trouble, that were never completely repaired after reported.

I really enjoy staying in this hotel due to the kitchen and the proximity of the hotel to a grocery store.

I hope the maintenance issues are all fixed soon so I can change my rating to a 5 star rating.

Room was spacious, fairly new appliances, comfy bed, decent breakfast included. Bath tub drained slowly. Recommend asking for a room near an exit to avoid lots of walking to get to room - long hallways.

Room was average, t.v in living/dining area, t.v. in bedroom. Don't seem to be well staffed as we are experiencing a/c issues and they have yet to be resolved. Breakfast is good included in the price. Morning service is very accommodating, the guest service area could use some work in hospitality area of guest service. The desk just doesn't seem like they want to be disturbed. Again accommodating, but not great. Location was great for what we were there for zoo, aquarium, and museum.

Great new remodel, clean and fresh. HOWEVER, their service is still lacking a friendly face and warm heart. Breakfast is from 7am - 10am, however by 8:50am they where out of food. Thank goodness the hotel is located behind a Panera and across from Publix food store.
If you're not one for customer service and included hotel features this is the place for you.

Our family of 4 stayed for 7 nights and were thrilled with our visit! Comfortable king-size bed, but the hide-a-bed was a typically uncomfortable hide-a-bed mattress. Plenty of towels. Our two "suite keepers", Amber and Shakila, took care of our every need, and kept our home for the week clean - even though we dragged in sand from Clearwater Beach and left crumbs and dirty dishes everyday. Any request was met with a joyful response and immediate action. The pool was lovely, there was free breakfast everyday, and a free happy hour/supper Monday-Thursday. Our kitchenette was great: full fridge, cook-top, cupboards with dishes and cookware. The first evening, we foolishly brought a pizza to bake without knowing we didn't have a range in the kitchenette. Hospitality quickly came to our rescue and baked it nice and crispy for us! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. We loved our visit!

As of 5/3/17 the hotel is undergoing renovation so you may get an unrenovated room like we did. Still the room was very nice. The only problems we had were the lack of a coffee maker which the staff corrected within minutes of my wife reporting it and a leaky bathtub faucet which was not noticeable audibly if you weren't in the bathroom so we didn't report it. My wife loved the bed but I got a backache from it which I do ,almost without fail, on hotel beds. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located on a very busy road but room was very quiet.

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at, and at a great price! The value is definitely worth it. Large spacious rooms had 2 beds with a pullout sofa, 2 large high-quality HD TVs, a full kitchenette with utensils, nice pool, pet friendly, breakfast, exercise room, secured entry, and best of all, everything was CLEAN. Staff were very nice and accommodating as well. Overall, a great experience. I would have stayed here another week, but they had no more availability.

My boyfriend and I decided to take an overnight trip from Orlando to Clearwater to hit the Gulf and relax away. The hotel provided an excellent experience. Clean, we'll maintained with courteous staff made this overnight getaway excellent. I wasn't impressed with the breakfast selection (especially the lack of juice options), but it was too minor to knock off a star. Still an excellent getaway.

Really enjoyed my stay at Homewood suites. The suitekeeper Pearly Powell was so kind and she wrote notes daily after servicing my room. Pearly really made me feel at home during my stay. I come to Tampa for business a few times a year and this will be my regular spot from now on.

Room was spacious and the windows opened to allow a breeze inside. However, my room smelled very strongly of (what seemed to be) wet dog. I'm assuming they allow pets here. It was so bad that I almost requested another room but was too tired from traveling to drive back up to the front lobby.

The staff was super friendly but compared to the last time we went 3 years ago the place has become the haven for ghetto types over the weekend. There were some things that I was glad my kids were asleep for in the night.
During the week however it was nice and peaceful. The pool was clean and the free breakfast and dinner were nice gestures. The food is just ok though. I'm a foodie though so I'm a snob. My son gobbled up everything and said "I don't see why everyone says it's not good. This is great!" So I suppose it's a personal opinion.
If you stay here during the week you will be fine. The finishes could use some upgrades but overall it's not a bad hotel. Gotta watch out for those weekend guests though.
The staff is awesome in every way.

We got a room for the week. The room smelled like someone had a party in it the night before and had grease on the kitchen floor about 1/4" thick. The laundry was on the floor outside of our room all night. The bed appeared clean. The next morning I took a shower only to find out there were no washcloths in the room. I used a hand towel as a washcloth. We went down for breakfast, which was good. We talked to the front desk about our experience and she immediately offered to change rooms. The next room did not smell. But this room did not have washcloths either. We went back to the front desk and got them. You have to turn off and back on the water to the toilet in the room to get the bowl to fill up again. Second day breakfast was good.
Overall, it's not the worst hotel I've been in. But definitely not the best. The hotel appears to be dated in certain areas. The hallway carpet looks detached from the floor in some areas. Not sure if we will come back.

Enjoyed the spacious living room, well equipped kitchen/ dining table, instead of just getting a hotel room. I would like to compliment the staff at this Clearwater home wood suites in particular. We travel a lot and hotel staff usually range from uncaring to adequate, however I was
Impressed with several staff here. The front desk staff was courteous and efficient. When I did not see any towels by the pool, the closest staff happened to be the ones handling the evening social refreshments, and when I asked them where pool towels were, they said they would be glad to get me one. . Not did they do that with a smile, but they brought 2 towels and apologized for none being by the pool area. After my swim a young gentlemen nicely told the kids in the pool that it was closing time for the pool, but that he had a task to do, so they just needed to finish their swim by the time he returned. That was so much nicer than making them get out immediately. At that moment my key did not work to let me back into the hallway, so I asked that same employee for assistance. He tried my key then used his key and took the time to say to me that the front desk would be glad to make a replacement key if I had any more problems. Breakfast food varied each morning with fresh strawberries, very good navel oranges , hash, bacon, eggs, potatoes, as well as the usual donut/bread/waffle carb type foods.
I do agree with the other reviewer that the one towel rack over the toilet is not enough rack space, but the bathroom is spacious. If I was staying longer, I would think the closet would be too small, but there are many dresser drawers that I guess might fix that problem.

This hotel is well kept with friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast and happy hour socials are nice perks. Restaurants, bars, and coffee shops are just a short walk away. Although everything was very clean, the appliances and furnishings could use an update.

TVs have an HDMI port so sign up for HHonors for complimentary WiFi, bring an HDMI cable and laptop, then enjoy Netflix/Hulu/SlingTV/etc. :)

So far we have stayed here three years in a row for over a week each stay and we were never let down until this year. The rooms are nice and the hotel itself is in a great location for traveling to different attractions and beaches. The beds are very comfortable and the staff is very friendly, they also just remodeled the pool with a nice pool deck.
We are a diamond member and therefore get the premium WiFi for free, however we cannot tell the difference between it and the complimentary WiFi however we never had any problems with it except for having to login to it through a web browser every 24 hours, which is NOT very fun during an extended stay. It would also be nice if they also had a Ethernet jack for devices such as an Xbox which I had to use an Alternate MAC address of my laptop to connect it to the WiFi, since it cant open the web browser.
This year we got two rooms next to each other and immediately noticed that some furniture was missing from one room that the other room had such as a desk chair and some lamps. Also, housekeeping completely skipped both of our rooms twice, even after we told the front desk about this, we then asked for some towels and they said that they were out of them. Also the 24 hour coffee bar tends to run out of cups, lids, coffee, and creamer very frequently. Again I only had those problems this year. I would stay here again and would recommend this hotel.
