This place needs some work. From the outside, landscaping needs some improvements
Bushes are overgrown some places they invade the entrance into the hotel. See attached images. Poor security system, looks like the cameras were bought off with and do not have adequate coverage to capture the halls for safety surveillance. The door in building E1 has a huge gap for anything to just crawl in. Also, ROACHES are a problem. See image. I saw several during my stay there. Before you book, look at other options.

The suite was a perfect combination of homey and vacation. The beds were new and bug free. I checked of course. The minor issues weren't anything to worry about unless you're over analyzing. There was a small stain on the mattress or minor cosmetic wear on the shower rod. The bed was comfortable, however, the bed skirt had chips on it. I knocked them off. I'd rather have that than bugs. For the price it should have not been there though. The appliances worked no issues. The living room was vacuumed and no visable dirt.

Nice place that needs updating. I always love a Homewood Suites for the kitchen, etc. The room was just worn...carpet, tub, etc. I liked the extra pillows and blankets...assuming they were for the pullout bed, but they were nice to have. The lobby and eating area was lovely with a fireplace that was lit and a happy hour with free spirits. The front desk staff was DELIGHTFUL...very helpful and kind. Is always nice - as a frequent business traveler missing home - to be welcomed and made to feel invited.

We had family gather here from both Missouri and East Texas. We spent a lot of our time in the lobby / lounge area and really enjoyed it. The area is spacious and very comfortable, like we were in a large den in one of our own homes. Although we didn't spend a lot of time in our suites unless sleeping or showering, it was very comfortable. We loved the pillows, the kitchenette and the fact that there were two tv's. And the staff were very helpful and kind to us!

Everything was clean and attractive. The breakfast was great! Unfortunately, the bed was too soft. I slept on a slant because my husband weighs more (150lbs) and I kept sliding towards him. Also, I kept hearing a buzzing noise that kept waking me during the night all 3 nights.

Not my 1st or 2nd choice. Place looks nice after remodel. Rooms still a little to warm at night. Great improvement to breakfast. Most staff is friendly and professional except one lady.

Newly renovated, reasonably priced for suites. Staff is friendly and helpful. The site is oddly designed for walking access from back buildings to lobby. Evening reception is a nice added touch.

Go ahead and stay here it's only 6 miles from the airport and well worth the drive. The place is very nice, nice kitchenette, comfortable tall bed, great living room/kitchen size. It's really great because it doesn't have a typical hotel feel. The swimming pool and pool area clean and nice. This place really exceeded my expectations!!!

This was my first time staying at a Homewood Suites and I was overall impressed with the experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with all requests I had. The building itself was older but in good condition. They recently have been renovated. The hotel is actually split into five different buildings with rooms in four. The room was nice. It had a small stocked kitchenette with sitting area and dining table. The rooms were clean and well kept. By far the best thing about the hotel was the complimentary breakfast. It had ample amounts of foods to satisfy your appetite. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend to anyone staying around Los Colinas.

Probably one of the nicer locations in this area, but they were in the midst of renovations in the building we were staying and the end result was not good. The room we were in had already been renovated, but badly. The kitchen counter sloped very noticeably downward, and it just felt old and tired even though it was brand new. The front desk staff were great though, and the rest of the hotel looked to be in much better shape than the building we were in.

Nice location and setup, but they are going through a major renovation and the smell of paint and glue permeates down the hall. Would have given 5 stars if construction was finished or in another building.

Hotel is undergoing rennovations... I assume most of the issues we had will be resolved in the future. Our 2 BR fireplace suite was missing some living room furniture (no loveseat or coffee table / cubes). Fireplace was non-working. Plates and cutlery in the cabinets were not clean and there was no dishwashing soap or dishwasher detergent provided. This was not the Hilton-brand experience we were expecting on this visit. Complimentary coffee breakfast was nice. Staff was very friendly and courteous.

The Homewood suites are conveniently located close to Dallas without feeling like the big city. The canals running next to the complex provide a beautiful place to walk, and the nearby lake (a short walk) is a great place to relax. It's a peaceful home away from home.

5

Quiet, old hotel with clean and large rooms.

Don't expect any extra service aside from the front desk.

I do love it because of the proximity to the office, the jogging track just down the road, the quiet neighborhood.

And don't miss the happy hour on weekdays.

6

My wife and I really love Homewood Suites and stay at them often. Usually a great place for the price. The only reason for the 3 stars is because this location is more a terraced apartment complex with separate buildings. Getting around isn't terrible but not what I want when staying at home. Also they do have ice machines for your convenience. It's not a bad place at all, but it's not the most convenient property to stay at.

Hotel is a little dated with it's appliances and some of the decor but it's a great location next to the freeway and it's pretty quiet as well. I love the room layout work the french doors to the bedroom and desk next to the bed.

The check in process was incredibly poor. We booked two rooms six months ago and they could not find the rooms despite having a confirmation. After twenty minutes and three people being involved we were given two rooms on the third floor of building E on the far side of the complex. When we arrived at the building and unloaded our luggage we found out that the elevator in building E did not work. At the age of 62 we did not feel this was acceptable and reloaded the car and returned to the lobby to get different rooms. When we got back to the lobby not only did they did not apologize for the poor service they told us we would have to get rooms in separate buildings. After another twenty minutes of going back and forth the manager relented and told us that a room with a late check out which hadn't been cleaned yet could be assigned to us along with the room across the hall. Since the room would not be ready for a while, we decided to go eat and we informed that we would be called when the rooms ready. Two hours later we finally called the hotel since had had not heard anything. We were informed the rooms were ready and we could now check in. The rooms were fairly nice with a separate sitting area and kitchenette. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom leaves a lot to be desired.

With my job I travel-weeks at once city, months in another, and so on. When I see Dallas on my work itinerary, I let out a sigh of relief. Because I know that the Dallas-Irvin Homewood Suites is it my near future. Staying here is more like returning home to my house between business trips then returning home to my house is between business trips. It is all the amenities, the quiet atmosphere that is somehow nestled in middle of a major city but most of all the staff especially the night staff at Homewood Suites

This is a decent place to stay but the overall experience was truly meh-tastic. The folks working here were the best part of my stay. Overall, the hotel is falling apart at the seams. They upgraded their beds and are slowly replacing refrigerators but the floors in the hallways creek horridly, paint in the room was peeling, there was mold in places in the bathroom, a cockroach visited me late one evening on the wall, the windows looked like they were about to fall out of the frames, and all this for an exorbitant price relative to other places around. I usually love Hilton properties but this will be the only time I stay here.

Well priced, good location, not too fancy in the furnishings but more than adequate. They offer breakfast daily and a lite dinner on four weekdays.

Rooms are in several buildings around the main office building. The rooms are a bit outdated; however, the hotel is remodeling and upgrading rooms. The staff is friendly, and I felt welcomed. Rooms have a nice kitchen area and separate bedroom. The fitness room is a joke, and there is no workout area (only a couple of cardio machines).

7

From a cost prospective this is one of the better values in the DFW area. I'm a consultant and I have been on site for 3 months and I've stayed here for about a month. So far it has been a very good experience. The rooms are clean, fully furnished, the kitchen has all of the necessary cooking equipment including a full size microwave, the bedroom closes off from the main living room area, 2 large flat screen TV's and the wifi is even pretty good. Daily housekeeping is huge plus since I never know what to do with my recycling. Other great things for long term contractors are the free hot breakfast, evening social hour with free booze (house wine and Bud lite) and appetizers, and the workout room is pretty functional (towels, water-cooler, 2x treadmills, some medicine balls). Since I was a long term resident I brought my Xbox and I can tell you that the internet was just adequate. I would get disconnected occasionally but I was able to play with my crew and in public events successfully. Wired internet was a huge plus! Why doesn't anyone have this anymore? The only drawback on the internet access is you have to re-login every 24 hours but this is fairly minor. This hotel is one of the older properties so while it is will appointed it definitely has been lived in and could probably stand to be freshened up. And make sure you get a top floor room as the floors are a little creaky. Walls are solid but I could here the person above me slightly. All in all a solid location, 50 years from a small lakeside area with a great Italian restaurant without take out and dine in and has a pretty decent bar. Around the corner (literally) is a small store/deli that has a fine selection of beer and wine and the essentials (milk, fresh local bread, etc). Friendly place, easy highway access, 12 minutes to the mixmaster/downtown Dallas and about 10-15 min to DFW airport. Next time I'm in Dallas this will be my go-to spot.

Go elsewhere. For starters they quote the room much lower than what they actually charge you. I came out paying $150 that I hadn't originally intended. Also didn't receive maid service two of my three nights. Also had to ask for extra towels because they weren't provided. The TV was in a weird position in relation to the room. Overall not a bad hotel, just not worth the price. For the same rates you can stay at a really nice establishment and not get hoodwinked on the fees.

Considering how much they are charging the quality just isn't there. VERY dated. I only stay here because its close to my work site. The power outlets are so old the plugs fall out by themselves. This is my 4th time and I think I'm done now. There are bugs in my room too.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites the 1st Saturday in July. I've actually stayted here before, travelling to Irving, TX on business. The reason why I like this hotel is that I always get a good night's sleep. The rooms are quiet and the beds are very comfortable. It's perfect for a business traveller. Also, this property offers VERY GOOD weekend rates (as low as $89). Food is about the same as the other Homewood Suites. They were doing some remodeling on the floor I was on so the fumes were pretty strong.
Overall, this is an average Homewood Suites. That being said, I stay at Homewood Suites whenever possible. I've travelled all over the country for business and pleasure and Hilton Homewood Suites consistently delivers a good night's sleep. It's not the most luxurious hotel but they are consistent.

Mediocre at best. Breakfast was ok. Good waffles, watery eggs, bad tasting sausage, extremely flavorless. Every day, barely any change and no flavor. Dinner was marginal at best, plan on eating out instead. The room was in need of maintenance - ice maker was broken, no ice in the building; had a dishwasher but no soap; very few utensils in kitchenette, no bottle opener; 2 washing machines in main building but both were broken; finally fixed 1 after 3 days; 'free' internet was VERY slow, had to pay to get internet that was still slow but usable; EVERY door in the suite creaked loud enough to wake us up when kids used restroom or vice versa. Stayed for 9 nights, pre-paid so couldn't really move.
