ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity
• Use eco-label housekeeping products

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Staying there now and the next week. My wife and I have found this place to be quite remarkable. It's clean, organized, the food is very good, both meals, morn and evening. They have a wine tasting event and various other things going on. It's a great hotel very pleased.

Inexpensive suite. Very clean. Well appointed. Nice staff. They leave you alone unless you need something. Comfortable beds. Lots of room. Kitchen with dishes and dishwasher. Full fridge and stove top. Microwave, toaster and coffee maker.

First time visitor - When I travel I usually stay at a Hilton property so I see a lot of the same amenities, the nicely appointed rooms, the friendly and helpful staff. This time was no different.
Greeted with a smile when I arrived, I quickly received my key and was off to my room. Although I didn't get a chance to use either of them, I checked out both the pool and the gym and both looked really good.
Next time I come to Dallas I'll stay here again.

My family and I stayed at this location for 9 days. We were checked in and out by a very friendly young lady named Paris. She greeted me with a beautiful smile and made us feel right at home, assisting me with several requests upon check-in. Thank you, Paris!! Homewood Suites is lucky to have you.
The breakfast and “dinner” are typical hotel food (except the complimentary beer and wine in the evening👍🏻). Everything was fresh and tasty. Suzanne does a great job keeping up with the morning rush and helped my daughters with getting some breakfast early one morning before she had everything set up. Thanks, Suzanne!
The room was clean and spacious with a full kitchen. Very limited cooking accessories so don’t plan on cooking a gourmet meal.
The beds are above average comfort for a hotel except for the sleeper sofa. Had to put the mattress on the floor.
Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would recommend this location if visiting the Dallas area.

This hotel is not in a good neighborhood. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was always reasonable for what it is. I was placed in a smoking room even though I reserved a non-smoking room. My room smelled like stale cigarettes and gave me a headache. There was also carpet cleaning and painting of the hotel happening during our stay which was certainly unpleasant (from an odor perspective). There is a security guard on duty each night which certainly reduces any security concerns if the hotel and parking lot. I also really respect that they post a sign stating they back the blue. Unless you're very familiar with the layout of Dallas, I would recommend starting in another location.

Great hotel. Bad neighborhood. It's safe with 360 security fence and guards unlike the dumps nearby. Paris was a gym. Yup. A gal named Paris at the Hilton. Cute, sharp, fin and quick at her job. Friendly helpful staff in a really nice place. Rooms are uncommonly fine. Worth the higher price all around.

We have stayed at Hilton's hotels for a very long time. This hotel has a wonderful welcoming presence. All of the front desk people were quick to respond. Check in was a breeze. The room was great. Bed was comfortable. There were extra blankets and towels. Breakfast was amazing. Even the first day Susan went out of her way to accommodate us when one person in our party had food allergies. She kept the breakfast buffet clean and full. Chelsey was great too. Even though she was in the kitchen and very busy, she helped us as if she had all the time in the world. Definitely recommend this hotel for families and business travelers. Also, the hot tub and salt water pool is amazing!

After a number of bad experiences trying to get food late night, ELLA was insanely kind and helpful to my associate and I. It made my crappy night night end with a smile because of her generosity and selfless service. I don’t know if she’s the manager...but she should be.

I work for a major cable company in Oklahoma and they offer us employees great discounts on many servicea and one of those services is hotel lodging through a selective third party booking company. I booked a 2 day night stay for me and my signifigant other . I prepaid and booked through my job site discount portal the Thursday before the weekend which is the nights we were staying . I received an receipt via email and shortly after a booking confirmation the 2nd email . We check in the hotel was amazing, the set up was perfect and professional.., everything was amazing until the time it was for me to check out . The front desk clerk at the time had said she was running into problems completing the check out and was very polite and respectful. She advised me she would have to grab the manager who was off helping cleaning and inspecting rooms . I went to check out at 11:30 being check out was 12 pm. The manager finally arrived advised me that my card was declined and proceed to say it was declined multiple times which I was confused because I prepaid through my job portal . I advised him and showed my receipt email and booking in which he barely looks at it and looks at the computer and responds "you're going to have to contact the booking company they have not sent over the payemnt , you pay them ,they send it over . That's the problem with booking companies you pay more ,that's how they make their money " which I didn't respond to advise him it was through my job discount portal and I did feel the way he responded was some what snarred . I also asked why was I given the key In the first place and he responded"you shouldn't have gotten it anyways and whoever gave it to you should've ". I stepped to the side and call the booking company, I tell the rep what's going on and he is confused because he says everything is confirmed in his system so he advises me that he needs to speak with the manager to find out what exactly is going on , I'm standing by the manager at the time and advised him I have the booking rep over the phone I asked " I have the rep on the phone and he says he needs to speak with you to see what's wrong since it's clear on his end ",the manager responds "suuuureee" he the looks like he doesn't want to take my cell phone to speak with the rep and then says "he can call us on our phone " confused why he didn't want to speak with him directly while I had the booking rep on the line with my cell phone .I respond"arlight do you have the number " he gives the phone number verbally install of writing it down while I'm trying to pass the number on to the booking rep on my cell phone which was becoming frustrating because the manager could have spoken directly to the booking rep on my cell phone .the booking agent now is on hold calling the hotel and about 5 min later gets through which by this time the manager walks off the polite front desk clerk is back and answers . They get everything verified the I did not need to pay anything else and my card never should have been ran . The front desk clerk tells me I can leave as I have been waiting and it is now 1 pm . She apologizes dearly and I tell her she was very helpful and polite and leave . The booking agent aslo calls me and apologizes for the situation and hold up and that I was clear and prepaid and had no additional cost . What is disappointing is the manager never apologized as I was a paying customer and the way he handled the situation. His worker was more respectful and polite in the situation than he was and the fact he walked off to never even finish the situation and the fact that his clerk did all of the apologizing when she wasn't the one that needed to. That was the downfall in my stay and left a bad taste . Everything else was great but to have that come from a manger is dissappointing

By far the worst Homewood I've ever stayed in. Carpet looked and felt dirty, breakfast wasnt good and lady cooking was grump. Toaster had to be held since it didn't work. Random people walking in parking lot. Housekeeping was about the only positive they were very friendly.

I reserved a non-smoking room and then called to tell me that the only room available was a smoking one. That does not inspire confidence in the reservations system.
The layout of the hotel is one of the weirdest I have seen. The reception desk looks improvised, from there you have to go through the kitchen to get to the elevator. There is only 1 elevator, and the door is so unassuming that it is not hard to mistake it for a door to a room.
The saving grace is that once you get to your room, it really looks like a Hilton room.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

I stayed at this location for about a week for business. The room I was in was fantastic, with a kitchen including a full fridge and a stove top. This allowed me to stay in my room with everything I needed while working. Absolutely could not have asked for a better set up for a week long stay! The breakfasts and dinners were above average hotel food, with varying choices every day. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly as well, with a super attentive front desk. As far as location goes, it is close to a major highway so it makes travel easy. There is also a grocery store nearby if you want to stock the kitchen during your stay (it's what I did).

Average place. My first floor room was recently renovated, but the bedroom is rather small. Living area and kitchen suite were fine. Area around hotel is just ok with not much in the way of restaurant options. Ok hotel, but it won't be my first choice to stay again.

Easy access to 635 and plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms are comfy but somewhat dated, but that's kinda what almost all Homewood Suites are like. I appreciate the ceiling fan in the bedroom and micro kitchen. The staff are friendly and helpful. The sole elevator is small and slow, best to take the stairs.

Nice room, comfortable. Some maintenance issues in bathroom (staining on ceiling, etc. Minor stuff). The floors have this weird greasy feeling, slippery when barefoot. Tub is very narrow and bowl shaped, so the water has a hard time completely draining- it pools at the bottom. But I would recommend and would stay again. Issues are very minor.

Hilton properties are pretty cookie cutter now, but traveling for work, that is not a bad thing. This Homewood is nicely arranged and bright and clean. Ice been here a few tones and rooms have always been good with good upkeep through my stays.
Breakfast is free and exactly what you'd expect for that price. In truth, I go out for breakfast.
They do have a happy hour snack with wine and beer during the week. All free which is a nicity. And there is an open patio to sit and relax at outside and get some fresh air.

Overall a subpar dated establishment. Corridors have scapes, marks and dents throughout. Fitness center is miniscule and poorly equipped. Housekeeping is abysmally poor, think light dusting as opposed to cleaning. Noise level is high, expect to see furniture with rips and tears, even in the executive king suite! The elevator sounds like it has 3 elderly monkeys pulling on a chain as it's lifting mechanism. Pillows are stained as are the sheets. Well this should give you a picture of what to expect. I must say that the outdoor courtyard looks great, and if you plan to stay there come on down! Staff seemed pleasant.

Hotel is fine. Room (double king suite) was big and private. Security guard was walking the parking lot in the morning. Only complaint was standing in the lobby for 10-15 looking around like a moron waiting for someone to come to the front desk to check us in. Someone else in our group arriving an hour earlier experienced the same thing, so I don't think it was just an unfortunate coincidence.

The Homewood has come a long way since its remodel last year. The rooms are now bright and modern and bathrooms no longer make me shudder when I walk in there. Breakfast and dinner are fairly good and staff are always helpful and friendly. Overall cleanliness is still an issue and noise can be a problem depending on your room. Front desk staff can vanish intermittently during late check in times and normal check out hours.

Home away from Home. I have been to many hotels and this stay, with the staff, was one of the most memorable. Awesome amenities including in door pool and jacuzzi, laundry, gym, guest living and social areas. Evening "get togethers" were great, including some snacks, bratwurst and beer or drinks! Hot breakfast in the morning was very well set up with Texas waffles, eggs, meats and fruit, etc... The staff though, desrves very good share of credit, especially Jonathan C. Great guy and professional as can be. The commitment to service and training are evident. And....the half basketball court, outdoor patio with grill were fun....located right off the freeway too.

Great service, especially during breakfast. Great and clean appearance. I never went into pool, but my kids enjoyed it. Exercise room was sufficient. Beds are soft, clean linens. Carpet soft, love to walk bare footed.
However, upon checking in, I had to use my bathroom but couldn't due to some issues with the toilet. I notified front desk on my way out about the issue. When we returned, it was resolved. Now my sister's room had a clogged toilet. She notified front desk as well. Instead of sending a maintenance person to look at the problem, guess what front desk attendant did? She gave my sister a plunger. Ok. Needless to say we had some words with manager the next day. But all was resolved and we continued with our stay with no additional problems. Overall, we would use them again.

Old Hotel, front door is locked after nine pm, your keycard doesn't unlock, gotta wait for front desk to wake up... hot tub is cold tub pool is freezing in the middle of summer, there are no signs for the enterneces for the hotel, my room had a broken tub (about to cave in and constant running water) also my room's fan light kept turning itself on at random in the early morning hours. I will not stay here again...
