ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

It was a one night stay. The room was spaciouls ( booked for 3 people). Bed was comfortable. It is clean and provided nice kitchen. What was a big drawback was the very loud ventilation/ac system to the point that it was difficult to sleep. The breakfast was far from ok. some cold porridge and dry serial. even covid 19 should not be an explanation for that. over all averadge.

Nice, clean rooms with comfortable beds. The room I stayed in had an excellent view of the city. Giving 4 stars because the parking situation is a little inconvenient. There is a parking garage on site, however you have to go down the "garage elevator" to the lobby, then up to the floor your room is on. This is inconvenient considering the room elevators go right through the parking garage, just no call buttons for them. I understand this is for security reasons, but it could be easily solved with use of the key cards in the garage.

I loved this suites. It is cuzy, comfortable and cheek. The staff were nice, pleasant and of courtesy. The complementary was yummy, diversified and fresh.. especially the hot and delicious waffles. Drink options - hot and cold were good.
I highly recommend the place, especially for the rates they offered compared to overall services provided

Within walking distance of the Galleria. Has nice amenities and a reasonable price. Only problem would be parking. There not enough. The rooms are spacious as it is fairly new. Not to mention you can find discounted rooms easily online. If recommend it as a good place to stay for touring as it's located near public transportation and a central hub.

Nice hotel with nice rooms. We caught a decent price. Breakfast is good. Its your standard hot breakfast. Eggs, sausage, waffle maker etc. They have an evening social hour on the weekdays but I didnt get to experience it since I was there over the weekend.

Parking overnight is $20

My only complaint is during my stay they only had one person working the front desk which made check in and check out take forever. The line that was forming was ridiculous. Youd think on the weekend they would have more staff on deck. The staff themselves were very nice and helpful though.

I'd stay again.

Very nice location. Convenient to the fabulous Galleria Mall in Houston. The breakfast is extensive and delicious ... The staff is very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is complete ... The bed and fittings are really comfortable. ... There's adequate workspace for the business traveler. ... On the downside is the closet logistics ... You will find it awkward to try to reach the entirety of the closet ... Everything else is top shelf.

Location is good. The fact that you have to pay so much for parking is ridiculous. Also, the rooms were a bit sub par.

The jury's still out, as the staff have all been nice and courteous. The rooms and views are lovely. However the parking lot is a joke (small spaces) and we found leftovers from the previous guest in our room. Three out of five for now

The hotel location felt fairly central to all the places we went. Nothing more than 30 minutes away. The rooms were clean and spacious with very soft pillows. The toilets and faucets were a little noisy. We even had room for for our travel crib in the double suite. The pool is indoors and only 4ft deep.

We stayed 3 days here for work and a mini vacation. Typical city noise is heard even on the 14th floor and many cars revving their engines early morning and night. On the second morning, I slept in until 9:30 and left about 10:30 and noticed a note at my door. It said that if I wanted my room cleaned, I need to call before 2:30pm. If I call after 2:30, I will get a light cleaning. I called the front desk and let them know I was leaving and the room could be cleaned. The guy in the front said he’d let the maids know. When I returned, nothing was cleaned. No new shampoo bottle, no trash taken, beds still messy. There was also no detergent to wash dishes, one of the phones is missing a power cord and phone cord, one of the doors is terribly loud when it squeaks, BUT someone randomly showed up to give us extra blankets and pillows we didn’t ask for. ??? The lobby and hallways are very warm. One of our rooms in the suite was warm and stayed that way. The other room was freezing. Another confusing thing is how you unload. There’s an enter and exit sign but also signs on the wall in places for people to park, telling them they can only load and unload there. So are we supposed to drive through or park and leave? I watched a couple of cars driving up to it, backing out, parking, trying to drive through while others park. All so weird. No enter and exit is needed if you’re going to put up several signs about loading and unloading where cars can park. It’s also in an alley so if people are going to back up, they can easy hit someone driving through. This hotel is also easily missed if you don’t drive extremely slow and *try* to find the sign for the hotels under large tree branches. Be prepared to irritate people as you slow down and scan the area. The sign is hidden behind branches but as you get closer, the sign is too high to see in your car so you have to break your neck to see behind the branches.

I found in this hotel excellent customer service and a place that you can feel you are in your own home. I would say it will surpass my expectations. The management is very attentive with all the guests as it should be. Specially Karem Joseph one of the from desk supervisors, she is excellent. I can give her 10 out of 5 if I could. The complimentary breakfast and light dinner is worth for every taste. Thats why I gave them 5 stars.

As a family that travels with the fear of food allergies on our minds, we require a kitchen to prepare all meals for our kids when we travel. The hilton homewood suites near the galleria is the perfect fit. It was spacious enough for the four of us and offered the amenities required. There is some minor flaws with the state of the facilities, damaged floors, leaking faucet, etc... but it was clean and they provide the necessary kitchenware needed to make it work. For that we are grateful. I do not know of anothet place other than airbnb that offeres these amenities. Also. 24 hour fitness room works great for kids that go to bed late!
Thanks,

The staff is very friendly. The location is also pretty good- with many dining options and shopping nearby. Breakfast/ evening reception are pretty standard for the Homewood Suites brand. That's pretty much it for the positives.

The elevators are old, smelly, and make a lot of noise- almost like a rollercoaster that you can hear from any room. I switched from a room right next to the elevator to a room down the hall and it made very little difference. White noise is the key to getting any sleep.

The fitness room needs some work. The treadmill against the mirror makes a lot of noise- coincidentally a clanking similar to the elevators. I had the pleasure of using the treadmill that shocked you every time you changed your speed or incline. Who knows what the elliptical has to offer.

It's not the worst hotel I've ever stayed in but I definitely recommend finding another hotel in the area.

We booked a King one bedroom suite. E were given a queen one bedroom. The room was very clean and well maintained. The TV remote in the living room area did not work; however, the bedroom remote worked for both areas. The breakfast provided was fairly basic with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, potato hash browns, with self serve waffles. Really it was nothing special.

The hotel is great for location and what it has to offer. The only reason it's at four stars was because my water was out one morning which, unfortunately, did put a kink in my day. The front desk receptionists are absolutely the best people.

Nice location and super friendly staff. The beds are a bit on the firmer side but I slept soundly and woke up refreshed. The AC unit seems to only blow cold air in the living room area of the suite and our bedroom was slightly warmer than desired. However, the ceiling fan helped keep us cool.

The hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff were all excellent and so friendly. A bonus that I was not aware of was that they offered a light evening repast that included beer and wine. Nothing terrifically fancy, but if you are traveling for work on a budget, it's great. Overall excellent experience, though beware of traffic on the local streets in the area around rush hour. Driving to a Target just a couple miles away took almost twenty minutes, but this is the shopping district, and near downtown.

Perfect for Business travelers or groups.

There's nothing like staying at Homewood Suites to us..We absolutely love the chain..Rather than name every department I'll make it simple..EVERYONE was nice..Also it's great that the hotel is dog friendly..Our room was clean, lots to choose from at breakfast and a nice hot meal in the evening plus beer on tap and red/white wine.I don't eat meat but had a nice green salad every night and hot bread most every night..parking was easy and the hotel elevator took you straight to your garage floor..whenever we can we use HS if possible....Thanks for making our 12 days so enjoyable..all HS should have employees like y'all's..Renee and Kim

This is a nice place to stay, the neighborhood is great, you can find anything close... After all the mess of taking the plane, flying, getting luggage and so on, you can feel welcome when arriving to this place... Frontdesk staff in the evening shift was superb!!... The lady goes beyond expectations making feel you as in home... The room is in perfect condition, I did not find any issue... I really recommend this place among all the choices this area has...
