ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Great location! The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. The housekeeping staff was so friendly and even gave my toddler snacks. Everyone at the hotel is friendly. Simple but yummy breakfast in the mornings. Nice evening social during the week with drinks and food. I'll never stay anywhere else but here!

We stayed there while visiting the Omaha zoo. We had a great stay! The staff is very friendly, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was delicious, and I really enjoyed the evening reception they had. A free glass of beer was delicious after a long day at the zoo. I would definitely stay there again.

I travel quite a bit for work, and am not a high maintenance person. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was typical hotel food, not excellent but not bad. Room was great, clean and large.
Here’s why I left 4 starts instead of 5:
#1 - The HVAC unit was right next to the bed, like 2 feet away. When the AC is running, you are freezing, but otherwise, when the AC was not running, the room temperature was fine. I wish they would place the bed somewhere else, there’s a ton of space in the rooms.
#2 - they charge $8/day for parking. Seriously?!? There’s street parking everywhere. The parking lot was 2/3 empty the entire time during my stay. I ended up parking on the street, for free. It’s Omaha, not DC or SF where parking is impossible to find.
#3 - Only had soft pillows provided in my room, and woke up with neck and back pain after the second night.
If I have to come back to Omaha, I may try a different hotel.

Great hotel! Staff and customer service is A+. This hotel offers free breakfast and evening food and drinks every Monday-Thursday. The business center is nice. Nice pool area, and they even offer an outdoor patio area with grill. Great value for the price.

This is the second time I've stayed at this location. The first time my room had been smoked in and I received a different room with no hassles.
This time, we arrived at 4:30 after a long day at the zoo. Check in started at 4, however I was told the room wasn't ready yet. And it would be ready shortly. So my family and I waited in the lobby for over an hour before the staff gave us an upgraded room at no additional charge.
The staff have always been really good here, but to have issues both times I visit simply cannot warrant more than an average rating.
We will likely look into other places on our next visit.

Very nice hotel, clean rooms and great staff. My circumstances were a little complicated but the front desk clerk "Hannah" was more than helpful and understanding. Will definitely be coming back here.

Clean room, enjoyed grilling and sitting on patio. Took shuttle to old market, driver friendly and responded in 5 minutes, both times. Social hour with food and drinks was an unsuspected bonus. Front desk staff friendly. Pool liner is showing signs of wear, otherwise overall good experience.

Different staff greeted us with a huge smile and was nothing but accommodating for all of our needs during her stay. The breakfast buffet was very good, the shuttle service was prompt and gets you everywhere you need to go, the pool was clean and very relaxing. And the rooms were the best thing of all very clean, comfy beds, very spacious.

The room was nice and big. But the hotel labeled the kitchenette as a full kitchen with a oven and there wasn't one which we needed for all the food we had planned to cook. So we had to go out and order pizza which was what we did not want to do. We ended up not having a very good view of the postponed fireworks at TD Ameritrade across the street. It was nice that each room inside the suite had two TVs and a total of three beds. One of the beds was the couch pullout. It could have been softer because I woke up several times from the uncomfortable mattress. The continental breakfast had eggs, cooked sausage, cereal, breads, muffins, etc. But I wish they had bacon like most hotel breakfasts do. Overall it was decent.

I really enjoyed the room. Decent social, but was disappointed with the breakfast. Nothing fresh at all- just carbs in every form and some powdered eggs. It would have been nice for some yogurt, or fruit of any kind. Even a banana!

Great location and everyone is so friendly here! The rooms are spacious and there are great views of the city on the upper floors. They have a complimentary breakfast every morning to get your day started and a light meal with drinks in the evenings during the week. This is the second time we've stayed here and we have a great experience every time!

Love the layout of the rooms. Door between the bedroom and living room area. Stove, dishwasher, full fridge freezer.
Didn't like the not so clean carpet and couch. Don't wear white socks on the carpet or sit with white clothes on the couch/cushions. Our floor, apparently has a defective hot water pump, so hot water for showers were not always an option.
Cleaning of the room was sketchy. Not always getting towels, had to ask 2x
Thankfully the young guy at the front desk was pro active and organised the towels and even offered to change rooms due to the hot water problem.
Aside from these problems, I would stay there again but would be less hesitant if these problems weren't there. The cleanliness was the most worrisome

Really nice hotel. The free beer and wine was lovely. Breakfast was a slight step up from the usual. The indoor pool and hot tub was lovely. Our 2 bedroom suite was amazing and we had the best sleep we'd had in weeks. We weren't able to check in when we were supposed to, but they comped us admirably with a free night's stay and goodies for the kids.

This place rocks. It exceeds expectations on all levels and its location cannot be beat. While not located in the "Old Market" area, it is definitely within walking distance (1/2 mile). If ever back Omaha way, this place is definitely first on the list.

We checked in online ahead of time with the fantastic ability to choose our room. We picked an available corner room and looked forward to a little extra space. Upon arrival in our room I couldn't believe how much extra space we had, the room was huge. The pool was nice and warm and the kids loved it. Breakfast was okay, would have loved some non acidic fruit options. The only thing that left a bad impact on me was waiting for our room to get cleaned. They never showed up even after a request after 3pm to make sure we received extra bathroom towels.

Visited Omaha from St. Louis. We stayed an entire weekend and had two vehicles (Paid nearly $400 for the hotel). Upon check-in I was told we would receive one parking permit and we would have to park our other vehicle across the street and PAY to park it all weekend, otherwise it would be towed .. I explained that we came from out-of-state, spent nearly $400 on a hotel room for the weekend and they wouldn't give us another parking permit to park for FREE?! They would not budge. So .. just bring one car or be prepared to shell out even more $$ ! (Please keep in mind when we were checking in it was pouring and continued to pour all weekend long) So we paid to park & got situated in the hotel room. The room was nice and we slept well. The hotel is in a nice, convenient location.

The swimming pool, in my opinion was on the small side and seemed cramped with other families in it. The breakfast bar was good and there were several things to choose from. The staff left much to be desired but perhaps I was upset over the permit issue.

They offer decent amenities (gym, free breakfast, indoor pool, hot coffee at all hours) but the bedding situation leaves something to be desired. They have a duvet insert between a top sheet and a coverlet. So the blanket that is difficult to wash isn't covered by anything. They also failed to replace a dead bathroom bulb for 5 weeks. Yes, using the bathroom with the door open for 5 straight weeks. The staff is really friendly and the stay was fine but really nothing above average.

Home suites has been great. The staff has been very friendly and kind. We enjoyed the free dinner Thursday evening and breakfast Friday morning. The pool has been great as well. I love the suite that has a separate bedroom and kitchen with so much like a dishwasher, kurig, and paper towels. The parking here is good as well. A couple things that would be great is hot chocolate packets in the room and for breakfast to have bacon or sausage. A personal preference would be to not have cheese in the scrambled eggs. But overall our stay has been great!

Wanted a hotel close to the event we were attending, this was only a block away. This hotel had the best ratings so we gave it a go. The concierge was nice, they let us check in a half hour early. The room was wonderful; they aren't kidding when they call them suites. We used the pool and hot tub; the hotel had great amenities. And the breakfast in the morning wasn't too bad. Would definitely stay here again!

I don't normally write reviews, but I was so impressed by our stay, that I couldn't help but write one. We checked in this past weekend after a long day at the zoo. Amy, who was working at the front desk, offered to upgrade our suite to allow us enough room to sleep comfortably. She was very pleasant, and very helpful. She took the time to make us feel welcome. Our room was large, comfortable, and very clean. There were several options for breakfast in the morning. We don't stay in Omaha often, but the next time we do, we will definitely stay here (regardless of what part of Omaha we need to be in)!

I am a big fan of this hotel. While occasionally the breakfast is slightly understaffed or chaotic, overall it is a convenient location with extremely helpful staff. It is also a clean, comfortable room.

I stay here frequently when in the area for business and personal travel and highly recommend it for convenience and amenities in the area. It is also located on the edge of a great neighborhood and has easy access for biking/running to great trails.

Favorite place to stay in Omaha. Easy to find, Close parking. Great service. And really comfortable bed. And the price is pretty reasonable for a suite type room. Love the evening reception. Our room was a suite on the 6th floor with the full kitchen and pull out couch bed. It was very comfortable and clean. We were all the way across the hotel from the elevator, which was great noise wise but not so great when walking back from the pool. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious, but the orange juice tasted a little off. I loved the complimentary lemonade and fruit in the lounge area. We will definitely be back!

I did NOT stay at this hotel, which is a shame as it looks awfully nice- but the booking procedure was akin to calling the IRS and trying to be walked over the phone though filing taxes for the entirety of a corporation. After sitting through a lengthy phone menu that wanted to ask every question they could ( and then top it off by asking me if I wanted to do a survey after the experience) they put me on hold. Finally, the operator comes on, tells me the price I saw online can be matched but only if I can find the "right site online". We then spend five minutes with me trying to figure out what I need to give him to establish bona fides, whereupon he tells me he will have to "get someone to confirm he can give me that price" and bounces me to Dallas, TX to talk to Complaint Elevation Dept at Hilton- who has utterly no clue what the previous operator was doing---and, to be clear:
All I wanted was room for two nights.
That's it, the massive totality of my request and, oddly enough, you'd think when you call a hotel that they could simply TELL you- yes we have a room, or no, we do not. If I was Hilton corporate and knew what customers were encountering here I would hit the roof- how in the name of heaven are you expecting to compete at this level when you can't even successfully book a room without making it a trial by fire? Like I said, it bites, because I thought the place looked great, but finally gave up when Dallas started explaining to me about a form I could fill out online- just wow
