ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Very great staff an very convenient to mall an restaurants. However the rooms desperately need to be updated. Hotel also has a good sized parking lot.

Such an accommodating hotel. They have a shuttle that will take you within 3 miles. You are directly next door to a Mexican restaurant with delicious food. And the mall is one more block over! Like 3 minutes walking. The hotel offers breakfast and every day it's something different from bacon, sausage, eggs, french toast, waffles, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, breads, grits, fruit, yogurt, chilled orange juice and apple juice. Yum! The social hour at night only runs from Monday through Thursday and ends at 7:30 pm. They have a theme every night. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, but a slow elevator. Just keep that in mind. But overall such a cozy and nice place to stay.

We booked here through VRBO. We had to make an trip up for business and decided to stay over night with the family so we could see Raleigh. The hotel was very nice on the interior. It is a 10 minute walk to the mall, and a 2 minute walk to the closest restaurant, San Marco's. From the mall, you can grab public transportation to downtown Raleigh, which we did. This saved us from having to find parking and paying for parking (much cheaper too). The staff was very friendly, they have an area with things you can purchase in case you forgot something. Extra thanks to the concierge, Johnny who helped us check in early. We have small children and they needed a place to crawl around safely. He was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful.

Very amicable, cozy and spacious. Faculty is very courteous and helpful. Breakfast choices are plenty and very satisfying. The carpets however, are rather musty and there are no assistants to help with luggage. Also, the lunch and dinner choices are sparse, and can be improved.

I like the staff and the location is good for me. That being said, the carpet throughout is looking very worn and dirty. Halls, elevators, rooms... It's time for a refresh. TV in lobby area is often not on or is on with no volume. Parking is limited. I had to laugh at gentleman checking me in. He shared with enthusiasm that my room had been upgraded for me. The upgrade? I got a suite with two bedrooms. It was big. I travel for work by myself. What did an extra bedroom upgrade do for me? Nothing. I had to laugh.

I've stayed here before and loved it. The rooms are great - much more of an apartment feel than a hotel room. And the dinners are always good. Definitely recommend.

We stay here every time we visit North Carolina. That should tell you something right. Always polite, professional and friendly staff. Breakfast is always great with a change in menu daily. Would recommend if stay 1 night or many nights and the price is right!

Was here for a business meeting and had great service! Staff was friendly and attentive, both the building itself and the grounds were well maintained, and the location was both close to everything while appearing to be remote. Didn't get to see the rooms other than the meeting room, but I'd recommend based just on what I've seen so far!

Had king suite with office.. it was nice. Clean.. but the bathroom (where the toilet and tub are) could use some remodeling. Complimentary breakfast buffet was awesome! Oh i do like the fact that when it is cold they actually use that big fireplace at the entrance. I thought it was just there for decor didnt know it really worked. One morning I came down and it was lit.. it was so warm, toasty and beautiful! 😊

This location is located behind Crabtree valley mal. I love Homewood suites; however, this location is much older than the properties I am familiar with.

This place definitely needs some upgrades. The staff is very nice and the event/sales staff are easy to work with if you are trying to book a space to have your event here. There is plenty of parking and the the nightly prices aren’t bad but compared to the other nearly hotels and the quality for what you get, I feel as though they could definitely bring down their pricing.

The staff I encountered was not up to the Hilton standard I am used to. In both interactions, checking in and checking out, I felt like am interruption despite being the only person at the front desk. The room itself was a nice layout, plenty of space to work and lounge. There were signs of age and trim needed some paint, but otherwise lived up to expectations for the Homewood brand.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The suite I was in was absolutely gorgeous, and had so many great amenities. I was floored that there were kitchen dishware and cookware options already provided, and the space was perfect. I will absolutely be returning to the specific location for future trips to the Raleigh area. Keep up the good work!

Awesome place, I had a very comfortable stay. I would recommend this hotel. The room was clean, loved having forks and glasses. The only thing that was missing was a wine opener. Friendly staff, close to shopping and fun. Best hotel for out of Towners with children because the suites have doors! Great for alone time with your spouse.

Great location near mall but hidden in a quite place. Hotel has more of a resort feel. Rooms are so clean, they don't have to hide dirt by using dark fabric, carpet and bedding. Hotel smell fresh and crisp. Dining and breakfast area was inviting. Outdoor patio, grill and pool area is very reason to enjoy your stay on any level or purpose for your visit. Easy check in, professional and go beyond the guest expectation to ensure a great stay.

Nicely nestled away from the busy thoroughfares yet within walking distance of major shopping mall. Probably a freak accident but facility loss power, lights, elevator service for over an hour in a busy morning period. And a/c units are quite noisy...

The main reason I booked this suite was because we had four adults and needed two bathrooms to get ready before we checked out in the morning. One of the two showers didn't work at all, and it was obvious that it'd been out of commission for quite awhile. When I mentioned it to the front desk, all he said was, "Okay, which one was it?" No apology for the inconvenience, no offer of a discount, not even a thank you for letting them know. Also, when we turned on the water it was BROWN, and didn't clear up until we ran the water for about 10 minutes. The response to that was, "Oh yeah, we had to shut off the water for awhile yesterday." Ever think of letting your guests know??

The suite was nice and clean. Love the fact that it has a full updated kitchen inside the suite. The free breakfast in the morning is decent enough. Great location very close to shopping and places to eat. I would stay again. I gave a four instead of a 5 because customer service was average and in the living room on the ceiling you could tell it had a leak didn't like seeing the brown water stain on the ceiling.

My Scale: (Internet, Comp Items, Staff, Room, Quality).

1. Fast Internet.
2. Complimentary Items. (breakfast... dinner M-Thur)
3. Ease of Access from the room. (can take stairs)
4. Front Desk. (They are very helpful and nice)
5. Sound Proof (cant hear a soul in the odd rooms.. and balcony!)
6. Cleanliness (been staying for a while no complaints! I am not a hair inspector like the fellow guests.)

overall best hotel in the raleigh area. And if you like windows and free balcony i'd say stay here.
I'd suggest odd rooms over the 2nd Floor.

Rooms are very good size, however space is not utilized the best. TV has limited channels, with half coming through digital airwaves and it's spotty at best. Full kitchen is nice for long stays. Free dinner and beer every night, along with free breakfast.

All in all very good value for the price.

Reserved a room that would have comfortably fit 5 adults, but upon arriving we were told that they didn't have a room for us. They said they would make it up to us and make sure we were accomodated, however they expected one of the guests to sleep on the floor with the couch cushions. We were given 1 bed, and 1 pullout bed. Are you kidding me? That should speak enough for itself. Don't come here.

Was up here on business for a weekend. Requested a queen room. Day before I receive an email saying I can check-in and select room. I noted that these rooms were small and narrow and located in a bend in the hotel. As I enjoy an in-room massage after a day of travel, I called the hotel to see if a table would easily fit in the room. I had assumed a queen bed would give me more room than a king bed, but I was wrong. I was talking to the manager and he confirmed that a massage table would not fit, and upgraded me to a larger king suite. I really appreciate that service. My room was nice and large and did fit a massage table after I did some minor re-arranging. The kitchenette, was all working, so no complaints. The public areas of the hotel were VERY nice. My only complaint would be that the room smelled very slightly mildewy, and the alarm clock in the bedroom was an hour off, and i couldn't change it. But since no one these days really uses those clocks, it was OK. The odor was usually very mild but sometimes, it would make my eyes water. If I had planned to be in the room longer, I would have mentioned something. The breakfast was hot, just scrambled eggs, a meat (bacon on one day and sausage links on the other) and a starch (hash on one day, and potatoes on the other). Three juices, cold cereal, yogurt. They had some nice outside tables which were great with the beautiful weather the weekend I was there.

I want to live here, at this hotel. My room had a view of the roof and a spotlight, but it was a nice and roomy suite and I was there on business so it didn't matter.
Complimentary breakfast, nothing new except for fresh-out-of-the-oven cinnamon buns occasionally (which I did not have, but still pretty awesome). The complimentary dinners didn't have much of a vegetarian selection, but there was wine and salad and some vegetarian sides so I you know I was there. I came down with the worst cold and being away from home while being sick was not fun, but housekeeping bringing me extra tissues, going to work after a hot breakfast and coming home to a warm dinner with the kindest kitchen staff made this stay enjoyable.
This is a short drive from crabtree valley mall and a whole foods, even better! I want to go back.

After checking into the Holiday Inn down the street & running here in horror, I had to give this 5 stars. Large rooms with kitchens & sofas. Hotel is clean & they have a pretty nice pool area. Free hot breakfast everyday & dinner Monday through Thursday. Everyone in my party truly enjoyed their stay. I'm now considering joining Hilton Honors as I am very confident in their product.

This is one of my favorite locations. The staff is very wonderful . Me and my bf made friends with a lot of them because we stayed there from Jan- March while on job training. Estabon at the front desk has to be my favorite. He goes above and beyond his job and with a lovely smile. The food is great. We had a couple problems with plumbing because they are renovating but we were moved into a better room and upgraded at no additional charge. Will be back to visit Raleigh real soon and this is my first choice to stay
