ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Killed it, we drove into town with reservations at a hotel elsewhere. That place wasnt going to cut it. We decided to make some calls looking for someplace, honestly anyplace. Found the Marriott and booked online. Then I called to ask a question and their concierge Jackie. Notified us they were closed due to Covid. She took my online reservation and coordinated it to the Hilton.

When we showed up the front desk was nothing but helpful, great positive attitudes.

Love this hotel.  The location is convenient in Liberty Station which itself is fantastic.  The hotel has two towers-North and South-and a building in the middle where breakfast and the evening social (think: open bar!) happen, along with the business center and front desk.  The staff here are great.  Robbie, Shana, Freddy, Victor, Isabel, Alison, to name a few. Fun, relaxed, all while offering great service and care.  The rooms range from single-studio suites to two-bedroom suites.  All rooms are suites, with full kitchens (cooktop, full-size fridge, dishwasher, plenty of dishes and utensils).  The amenities are fantastic and it's wonderful to enjoy a beer (remember the evening social?) while sitting out back by the fireplace enjoying the beautiful San Diego skyline.

Overall decent stay. It's about your run of the mill Homewood's with a little extra panache thanks to it's location. Biggest thing I was bummed about is I requested a quiet room due to my early flight and they ended up putting me directly over the basketball court that had teenagers playing all night. Not a huge deal, but something to consider nonetheless. Overall, I love the amenities, but would consider another spot first, only because there are new Hilton locations in the area at great prices.

Beautiful views and the rooms are very comfortable. The kitchenette is actually the largest we've ever seen in a homewood suites (our preferred hotel when traveling) which I wasn't expecting in California! The breakfast seemed so much nicer somehow, but I can't really say how it was different.. maybe everything is just sunnier and better looking/ tasting in California?!

Great suites! Front desk staff was totally awesome, I got there early and they didn't have a room ready, but were totally amazing and gave me access to the pool while I waited. Free shuttle to and from the airport. 10/10 would stay again!

The staff are friendly and accommodating
I just love this place. The rooms are clean, they have a variety of breakfast options for the grandchildren, as well for myself.
This location is the best. It's not to far from SeaWorld, Old Town, the FishMarket or down town. Local stores are not far away.
I have not heard any airplanes going over head being we are close to the airport.
We are enjoying our stay. Its home away from home.

Rooms were excellent. Super comfy beds, which let's be honest is the most important part of a hotel stay. The coffee is terrible, but you can't really expect much from many hotels. The orange juice is also terrible, so just don't do it.

The rooms are large, cozy, and well furnished with lots of appliances and options for extra bedding. WiFi is complimentary. Breakfast is provided daily, and offers a lot of options, including make-your-own waffles. The pool is small but nice.

My wife and I enjoyed our weeklong stay at our one-bedroom suite. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Their complimentary breakfast and Mon-Thur evening food options saved us a lot of money eating out. We liked our location and the closeness to a walking trail and Trader Joes. We will definitely come back and stay at this hotel when we return to visit.

We had a great time here came to see the Midway which my father-in-law served on. got to Uber from the hotel to the Midway for the six of us and I think it was $13. Great little restaurants around there. there was one bar that I had the best food that was a right across from the hotel.

Pluses: Great complimentary buffet breakfast, clean room with all the needed amenities in the kitchen, good location. Minuses: Having to pay $16 for parking, not a smile/"Thank you," or "Have a nice day" at check- out.

We had a great week at this hotel. The location was perfect and central, the room was perfect and the food was fabulous. My kids and I enjoyed the walking paths along the water as well as the playground and park down the street. My only complaint was that they charge for parking, which seems unnecessary.

I've stayed in this Homewood suites multiple times and recommend to anyone I know going to San Diego. It is a direct shot from the airport, near multiple restaurants and about 10 minute walk from a grocery store. Urban living at its best. You can go to a coffee shop, take a run or bike in liberty stration or even go to a children's museum. A great location and a good facility. The rooms are all clean and well furnished and the staff is good.

We love to stay here. Rooms are spacious and have kitchenettes. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast buffet daily and an evening reception Mon-Thurs early evening. In the morning we love to walk on the walking/bike trail which is bounded by a park to one side and the harbor channel on the other side. We love the landscaping along the walk offering many flowers and flowering shubbery.

Nice rooms, with a full kitchen as expected. Pool is nicely heated. Breakfast was better than most hotels in this class. Hotel Internet isn't good. I've had to fall back to thing on my phone for everything. Nice wooden Connect Four set in long doesn't actually hold the pieces on the board to let you play. Overall, it was a fine stay, but bring unable to deliver basic internet as advertised is an issue.

Staff was generally friendly. Rooms are clean and included breakfast buffet and on some nights, dinner buffet. The charge to park was unexpected. Also, some policies were strange. For example, they changed the locks on the doors, but gave no notice until I arrived at my room late that night carrying many items. This forced me to leave my girlfriend in the hallway while I walked to the lobby in the neighboring building. Not something you'll likely encounter, but an example of strange policy. Also worth noting is that the nearby Liberty Market area is a great place for food and hanging out, but being right under the airports runway makes it very loud. That said, the rooms remain relatively shielded and I had no problems sleeping.

A bunch of my family stayed here for a few days when my brother graduated boot camp. We stayed in three separate suites.
The hotel is central to tons of great things to do. It is right next to Liberty Station shopping and restaurants, and just a quick 10-15 minute drive to Old Town or Balboa Park.
There is an outdoor pool that my kids had fun swimming in during the evenings. The breakfast the hotel serves is great. It is all serve yourself, but they've gone above and beyond the standard hotel continental breakfast. The rooms were great and my only complaint is the weird issue they seem to have with the shower water temperature. The water temp seems to change from hot to cool sporadically. If you try to fix it to get it warmer, it goes from warm straight to scalding with no in-between. All the suites our family was in seem to have the same problem. Other than that, great stay.

Pluses - Hotel is pretty clean. Staff is friendly. Free breakfast is pretty good. Not far from some nice shops and eateries. Minuses - Walls are kind of thin (Easy to hear outside your room). Room was a bit small. Wifi was not good. Have to pay for parking.

Very helpful and polite employees. The rooms were nice and spacious, the only downside was an air conditioning compressor or some other machinery that caused a sound in the room that could be heard when it was quiet(not loud enough to cause problems when sleeping, just annoying). Housekeeping can be a little inconsistent, like putting multiple conditioners instead of one conditioner and one shampoo, and there were some cobwebs in the corners that should have been cleaned.

Homewood Suites is my favorite of the Hilton brands. Best combination of quality rooms and services without being too overpriced. This specific HS is in an amazing location by the water plus it's near the airport. Beautifully designed to have resort aesthetics. My new favorite HS location. Top 3 Hilton's in SD for me.

So much good at this property. Brought family of 5 for 10 day vacation. Very comfortable room. Food (both breakfast and the M-Th dinners) were very good. Stayed in a two bedroom unit in their north building for one night. The unit was clean and had enough room for four people and a baby. The beds were warm and comfortable and the staff followed suit. It is a very well run and maintained hotel and I am happy it got to be our home away from home.

The hotel has an extremely nice location. There are plenty of good views and great food and drinks within walking distance. Liberty Public Market and Stone are both definitely worth one or more visits for food and/or beer. It is a fairly short drive downtown, yet it has a completely different feel. A pretty decent hot breakfast is included every day, and dinner (with beer and wine) is offered for free Mon-Thurs. WiFi speeds weren't phenomenal, but it definitely performed better than some other hotels I've stayed at. It is very close to the airport, so you do get aircraft noise very often throughout the day, but that isn't a big bother for me. They cut off flights at a reasonable time in the evening. In roughly a dozen trips to San Diego, this is my first venture to this area, but it certainly won't be my last.

Stayed here for family vacation with young children. The two bedroom suite was wonderful for our needs. Sitting area with complete kitchen in the middle of the two rooms. Very happy, liberty station is a great part of San Diego.
Several resturants within walking distance. Rooms are great, staff is upbeat, good to talk to. Easy access to lots of city attractions.
Free parking! Seems to be a new scam at many hotels to charge for this.
Happiest choice for a place to stay in a while and I travel a lot. Coming back here every time I'm in san.

Great extended stay option close to downtown and airport. Conveniently located near fast food and grocery options. Close to water and also close to nicer craft food options in the Liberty Center area.

Free breakfast was better than typical cold cereal and pastry. Serves real eggs, hot cereal, sausages, and cresh fruit. Wafgle machine is a big hit with the kids.

Nice touch with complimentary coffee and tea 24/7 in lobby area.

Have not visited pool or gym but both look well kept.

Laundry machines on site. Machines were a bit finicky, however, staff responding within 5 minutes of call to service.

Overall great experience and friendly, attentive staff. Good fit for trip with young children or elderly relatives.

I talked to Loire, she is phenomenal, I originally reserved a one bedroom, then ask if I could have it with the view, she said I do my best, when I got to the hotel she was already done for the day, but she was supper sweet to not only give us a room with the view , also upgraded us to two bedroom, I am in this hotel for only couple of hours and already love it. again thanks for all the staff members and particularly thanks to Lorie
