Certifications

ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity
• Use eco-label housekeeping products
• Use sustainable forestry certified paper

ISO 50001

ISO 50001 is based on the management system model of continual improvement also used for other well-known standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. This makes it easier for organizations to integrate energy management into their overall efforts to improve quality and environmental management.

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Best hotel! Clean! Great service! Excellent staff! We felt at home, peaceful, great amenities, slept like babies. We will definitely stay here when we come back to Santa Fe. Highly recommend El Parasol for authentic Mexican food nearby.

I really loved the rooms in this placebut the only thing that really sucked was having to walk all the way over to Buffalo thunder to watch the fights. That was kind of a downfall especially when it was so cold outside. There was no shuttle offered

This hotel is located about 15 miles north of Santa Fe, so it takes about 16-20 minutes to drive into the main part of town.
If you have stayed at Homewood suites before, this one is a little different. Front lobby area is the same, but some rooms are separate from the main building (two story "casitas" with no elevator). Also, no basketball court. The is a casino within technically walking distance.

The location of the hotel is extremely close to Buffalo Thunder. The room was unbelievably huge. It was like a small apartment which was superb!! Would stay there again without hesitation! Great staff and great place!!!

Day 1...check in...1 person ahead of us at the counter...30 minutes later...still waiting..fail.
Check in to room...toilet rim covered in dried feces...fail. Dust everywhere...fail. Dirty dishes in cupboard...fail.
Day 2...breakfast...microwave nasty...fail.
Day 4...housekeeping service late...called front desk to inquire...nothing but attitude...fail.
Day 5...microwave in breakfast area has same nasties as day 2...fail. Sunset...awesome!
Recommend staying elsewhere...we certainly will next time!
On edit...
The hotel contacted me and apologized for the discrepancies and our inconvenience. They assured me they will address the issues with the staff so that others will not have the same experience. As such I increased my rating from 2 to 3 stars because I belive them to be sincere.

The room was good. Service good when i checked in. Really nice guy. But on anther night i ordered pizza delivery. I stay in hotels every week in many states. I never had a front desk refuse to let the delivery come to my room. The front desk called and said i had to come get it. After working all day, the point was to not leave my room. Homewood ruined that for me.

Very impressed! I stayed in one of the Casitas behind the main hotel. It was a beautiful suite complete with a kitchen. The view was absolutely gorgeous! Very quiet and peaceful. I will definitely be back. Only drawback was a very cheap, uncomfortable mattress. As upscale as the place was that was a disappointment.

Nice hotel - first room had A.C. issues but a quick phone call got us moved to a very nice room on a different floor. Would stay here again. Eat a Gabriel's a few blocks down and visit the casino across the parking lot.

I was looking for a venue for an upcoming party and the front desk manager was unable to allow me see the rooms due to them being occupied but set up a time for me the following day. It was much appreciated considering I had just dropped in without an appointment. Beautiful property. Friendly professional staff.

Nice clean Homewood suites. It's a little far from everything, and you don't get cell signal on AT&T. The wifi also cuts out frequently. Otherwise great.

7

A very nice (and quiet!) hotel. Stayed in the executive suite, which was lovely, with a jetted tub, gas log fireplace, kitchenette, private balcony, and patio. The front desk clerk was very friendly and welcoming. There were a few cleanliness issues, both in our room and especially in the breakfast area- we almost couldn't find a clean table. Overall, though, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

This is a very nice place, but there are little problems. The rooms could be a like better attended to, and the tables at breakfast weren't week cleaned or bussed. On the whole, it is very nice and I'd come back, but the cleaning staff could use a "reboot." The upside is that the rooms are acceptable, it's super quiet, as the staff are friendly and welcoming. I'd stay here again, but the management isn't as on top of the little details as they should be.

Was a wonderful room so spacious with a lovely mini kitchen ad separate living room. Great comfy bed and super delicious buffet breakfast. Price was fantastic and was a quick jump on the freeway into all the highlights in downtown Santa Fe. Would definitely stay again. We generally never stay at facilities near a Casino but this did not have that flavor at all.

We had a two-room suite on the second (not top) floor. The room itself was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Door slamming in the hallway and footsteps upstairs were very loud all night (I'm guessing the excess of late night noise was due to the neighboring casino). The staff were courteous and friendly. Breakfast was sorely lacking fruit (green bananas don't cut it), and we had to clean a table before we could sit.

The staff are all very friendly. The real breakfast is always good. There is an evening buffet but I've never been back to the hotel in time to try it. You get to use the both indoor and outdoor pools next door at Buffalo Thunder for free. Both have a hot tub. Homewood does have an outdoor pool but no hot tub. The heat/AC in the suites are controlled by thermostat in the wall and actually fully turn off when at the set temperature. It is very quiet in the rooms. The kitchenette is stocked with the basics for eating. There is a two-burner cooktop with potx and pans. There is a microwave but no oven. A regular fridge with freezer, a regular house type one with a separate freezer. There is a table and two chairs for eating. There is a TV on both the bedroom and living room. The beds and pillows are excellent.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. The suite we stayed in was two full bedrooms with a large living area between them, including a small, but full kitchen. The staff are unobtrusive, but very helpful when needed. The complementary breakfasts were surprisingly diverse and complete, and the afternoon happy hours were a nice surprise. We would have extended our stay another night if they would have had a room available.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Had to ask for bottled water. It was not provided otherwise. Staff was friendly and attentive. I wish the plumbing was done better. You could here watter running down the pipe when people flush in the morning. Could not sleep in the morning because of this. It was very quiet otherwise.

Santa Fe Homewood Suites was such a beautiful place to be-from the amazing view all around us to the comfort of resort atmosphere.
Homewood Suites always seem to be more than what is expected. Luxury and cleanliness seem to be what Homewood Suites take pride in.
The staff was friendly and accommodating and we will certainly book again at Homewood Suites Santa Fe.
Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Working with the staff at Homewood Suites by Hilton Santa Fe- North has been a wonderful experience. They have been accommodating and have provided the highest level of customer service to me and the other members in my group. I would highly recommend booking here. Evan Fresquez, director of sales and marketing, is a great point of contact for group events. You won't be disappointed!
