This is a nice hotel. It's within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. We had a slight view of the river from our room. The continental breakfast was okay.. nothing to brag about. We did enjoy the Roof Top Bar. I would stay here again.

Within walking distance of historic downtown, and the Market, these beautiful accommodations are second to none in Savannah. I've stayed closer to the middle of Bay St., but I would recommend this establishment over any of those hands down. The staff is knowledgeable and goes over and above to help you. All rooms are suites, but affordable. And these rooms are GORGEOUS! And better than that, they're cozy! I could have stayed all year. Evidently, I'm not alone, because if you want to get a room here...book in advance. WAY in advance if its a holiday or special occasion. St. Patrick's Day is booked two years in advance.

This hotel was the best. The people that work here are so polite and nice. The guys at the valet parking are really helpful and nice and the ladies at the front desk were AMAZING. The rooms were nice and clean and we just truly enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend

The hotel is very nice and the rooms were great. Live music on the roof top bar and grill with the pool. They staf was friendly and helpful. It was very busy but there was a large convention in town. Within walking distance of several nice restaurants. Close to the river which was very beautiful. Hard to navigate to with one way roads and nothing being straight but after two tries I found it. Would definitely stay there again. Loved having a ceiling fan!

This has to be my now #1 place to stay at in Savannah. The room I had was very spacious and beds gave me the best sleep I've had in long while! My room was extremely clean and had a balcony view of the river! My family and I enjoyed seeing all the traffic on the river and seeing the large ships come through. Loved my kitchen area which gave you the comforts of home by having plenty of wares to use in the cabinet. Had a nice hot full complementary breakfast available. They have a exercise/weight room, a fully stocked rooftop bar with plenty of seats and cabanas to lounge in and a roof top pool. Staff was always very professional and made sure you were thoroughly satisfied with your stay. I have to give a big thanks especially to the valet guys who were there instantly to move or bring your car out. Milton, our evening valet was AWESOME! Our plans of going out were in the air and he parked our car near and took great care of it for hours while we tried to get plans together. The hotel itself is a straight walk from the all famous river street so that eliminates the hassle of trying to find parking there. The hotel is minutes away from other activities as well if River Street isn't your thing. I will DEFINITELY come back!

I really expected more from this stay. The view from my riverfront room was ok but not spectacular, the hotel staff was friendly but not above and beyond like most Hilton staff is. For the price it was underwhelming. The location is perfect, right at corner on River St. The room was clean and well designed. The balcony was small but much appreciated. Loved the ceiling fan with remote control! Also it does not make sense that it is valet only at $30/night. There is a huge private parking lot just across river st, I don't see why you can't just give us some ticket to place on the dash and let us self park.

My family and I had an excellent time during our stay at Homewood Suites. The staff was amazing, so helpful and kind. I loved the kid friendly roof too pool and bar for both children and adults. It definitely made our trip amazing an carefree.

This is a super nice hotel. Clean, modern, chic. Their rooftop bar is awesome. They have a heated pool up there as well. Also their breakfast was really good. They also have a little store in the hotel that sells snacks, drinks, and stuff which was super handy (although you'll pay much much more getting it from there).

I loved this hotel! My husband surprised me with a birthday trip to Savannah. This hotel is modern and the rooftop bar and pool was amazing. We went up there every night for happy hour and sat at the fire pit. There were a few games to play as well. Live music was also good. The staff at this hotel is super friendly and the breakfast was good too. The room had amazing views of the river from every window. We would definitely stay here again when we are in Savannah.

The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff is polite and courteous. The morning breakfast was pretty good. Parking in the area is very poor but they do have valley but The Valley is $30 a night. $30 A-day for parking is quite steep but you can come and go whenever you want. The rooftop bar-and-grill and pool are decent I only wish the view overlooked the waterfront. It is kind of turn backwards where the building is blocking you from seeing the waterfront. It is nice having the option to go out the front and you will be on the waterfront or you can walk down and start going to the stores or on 3rd floor you get out on the upper part.

Not a place to stay if you're in Savannah to celebrate anything fun. I'm currently staying here and the night staff are EXTREMELY rude. One of my girlfriends and I came after exploring Savannah, sharing stories and laughing and the police officer and attendant were scolding and reprimanding us. I asked what we did wrong and we were told we were laughing too loud. Wait what???? The older guy in the lobby, I'm not sure if he was a GM (the police officer was kissing his butt) was waving us away like we were children. I understand if we we're being drunk and belligerent but that was not the case. If it wasn't for the day crew, they'd have 1 star. The day staff are more pleasant and need to retrain this night staff on customer service.

Happy hour on the rooftop terrace, safe & convenient parking (well worth the extra charge), well appointed rooms in a tastefully renovated historic building, a lol on the rid with a view of downtown & the river, late check out, a breakfast that will last longer than your morning sightseeing... Plus all the modern amenities you expect from a Hilton. This place does now than justify it's cost... It makes you feel like you've gotten a heck of a deal.

Very nice hotel right on the end of Savannah's river walk. The staff are friendly and attentive and the location is great. Rooms are nice and updated, although you'll most likely hear the doors around you opening and closing. My wife and I were surprised to hear the plumbing as much as we did as well (water from flushed toliets for instance).

We happened to go on a very busy weekend, but my wife and I felt everything was walkable from the hotel. The $30/a night fee for parking is expensive, but that could be standard for the area.

We just spent one night at this hotel and it was fabulous! Hotel was clean and every staff member we encountered was super friendly and accommodating. Free dinner was served downstairs with complimentary beer, wine, and sodas. Room was clean and fresh and had a view of the river, as requested. Valet parking was convienent and hassle free. Breakfast was hot and delicious with a variety of choices. Will certainly stay here again soon!

Other than paying $30.00 per day to park (it's mandatory). I was happy with my stay. Good location in the historic river district. Very walkable to everything. Clean room. Good staff. My only complaint is that our room is near the elevator & guests are loud even at midnight. The hotel should post a sign reminding people to keep it down after a certain time.

Great hotel! New! Service was good for the most part. Reservations- downfall- they want to charge your card before you arrive- if you don't get there by 630pm. Otherwise great stay.

Recently stayed here in a 1br studio and thoroughly enjoyed it. Room was clean and well decorated. Nice view of the river and my son enjoyed seeing the massive container ships pass by so close. Rooftop pool is heated and bar is nice. Walk right out onto River St.. Walking distance to The Pirates House and Leopold's Ice Cream. The required valet fee is a bit steep but the room rates were very reasonable. Free breakfast and free "dinner" on weekdays was nice. Staff were all welcoming and accommodating. We'll be returning.

Great stay! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was great and they let us check in 2 hours early. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating was the lack of covered seating at the rooftop bar. It was raining pretty hard, so the only dry seats available were the 15 around the bar itself.

Love the rooms and location on River Street. Love watching the ships from the room balcony. Monday- Thursday the hotel hosts a social hour with free beverages and food. Roof top pool and bar is great. Most importantly, the staff is amazing!

Conveniently located on the Riverwalk with easy access to restaurants and shops. Rooms appear to have been updated recently. The suites include everything in the kitchen to prepare and cook meals. The breakfast served in the lobby offered a variety of hot and cold foods. There's a rooftop bar that provides panoramic views of the river. Only drawback is that parking is via valet service.

Great place for a weekend getaway. Please note: the hearing impaired room is next door to the fitness room and the rooftop bar. While our daughter is HI, my husband and I are not. We heard runners on the treadmill and loud guests leaving the bar area. Still, nice hotel with a great view of the river. Close to The Pirate House.

Staff is great!!!!! Nice facility. Highly recommend it. Valet parking sucks, but valet parking always sucks. Valets themselves are nice. Don't know why they can't simply charge you to park and skip the valet.

The hotel was nice but a little pricey for parking, especially since we were staying there. Right down the street parking was half the price. Staff very nice and pleasant! Love the roof top! We would definitely come back!

I could not believe how friendly the staff was. Everyone from the valet, front desk, housekeeping, and workers in the restaurant were very polite, extremely helpful, and welcoming. Location is excellent. We were able to walk to restaurants and stores and not have to worry about driving and parking. Our room was very clean!!! Breakfast was not that good. Everything was microwaved. I will definitely return but might cook my own breakfast in my room which is fine. There is a fully equipped kitchen. The experience was better than any other hotel that I’ve stayed and I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation.

Excellent experience at this hotel. Minor dilemma checking in, our fault not theirs, and they still provided us with beer and wine and dinner for free while we waited. Concierge, Tiffany, was excellent in recommending local eats, and the hotel is gorgeous with a roof top bar and year round heated pool. Definitely stay here if your coming to Savannah, GA!!!

This hotel is worth the price of admission. I have stayed at Homewoods before with great results but this hotel sets a new standard. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms were modern and clean. The rooftop bar and pool are definitely the highlight of this place. With booze, a pool, and live music what could go wrong.

Yeah, this hotel is a little morre pricey than others in the area, but the free breakfast and suppers make up the difference. Top notch.

Very clean, well kept and attractive hotel. Walking distance to the historic district and all that Savannah has to offer. Free breakfast is decent. Rooftop pool is located adjacent to the rooftop bar and has great views of the surrounding area. Live entertainment and happy hour during the week. Be advised that parking is valet only and has a hefty fee.

8

Great staff and experience here at the hotel, but one note that really made the rooftop bar experience less great is the fact that children are allowed in the pool. Nothing ruins a bar like screaming children. Maybe there should be a cutoff time where attendees must be 21+? Either way everything about our experience was great, but this really frustrated me when I just wanted some peaceful time at the rooftop pool after 8 pm.

We always stay at the other end of the river at the Hyatt. They did not seem interested in my business this year.

We really like this Hilton, big wall of free coffee all day, free real breakfast, free newspaper. We did not go, but they have a rooftop bar with live music.
When we rolled in they had a free happy hour with beer, wine and food. We did get a glass of wine on the way up to the room but skipped the food as we were going out to eat a bit later. The room rate was great considering the location on the river. $129.00 ,Parking was about the same as we see other hotels, it was $30.00 for valet.
The free coffee and breakfast will make up the parking fee. The room has a full size fridge, dishwasher and small built in two eye stovetop. Great bed and pillows, very nice overall. We will be staying here again.

I am so impressed with entire experience from location to the staff it is all spot on. valet to front desk to rooftop bar staff, If you can't find away to enjoy yourself here you can't be happy anywhere. Hotel perfectly situated near end of river walk, rooms spacious, clean and bed extremely comfy. My favorite was the live music on roof top bar where drinks and food were served by very pleasant bar staff

This is a great choice for a stay in Savannah. The service has been excellent. The entire staff has been very cordial and pays attention to detail, in a way you typically only see at places that cost double what I am paying here. The room is nice and very y have been very satisfied. The roof top bar and pool are a great place to relax and had entertainment scheduled most evenings. I will stay here again.

AMAZING hotel! My girlfriend and I checked in last December, and had a wonderful stay. ALL staff was friendly and helpful, willing to assist with whatever request you had. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and had a variety of options.
We had a view of the river, which was so nice watching the freighters go up and down the river. Our room was spacious, and the kitchenette was handy as well. We have talked about coming back, and will definitely be staying here again!

Great experience here. As we came in for the labor day weekend, it was an amazing place to stay. Free WiFi, breakfast, and it features a rooftop pool and bar. We had a few problems with the hotel room doors and TV, but we figured it out, and overall it was great. The servants are nice and they cleaned our room there. Quite average but great hotel whatsoever, would definitely stay again if I had the chance.

I have stayed at this hotel twice. It is really my home away from home. The employees are so nice and even remembered me from my last stay. The rooftop pool is beautiful, and it is nice how they serve breakfast every day. Some evenings they even serve light dinner food and cocktails.

Quiet, clean, beautiful rooms! Gorgeous rooftop pool and bar. The hotel was booked to capacity yet I didn't hear a single noise from any other guests near my room. Amazing! Easy walking distance to so many restaurants, activities, scenic areas, and shops. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here this last weekend and it was wonderful! The pool and rtb is a great place to relax and a great view above the river. The hotel is walking distance to almost everything. The staff was nice and helpful. One staff member, who works in the breakfast area (my daughter does not remember her name) even went out of her way to get a bag with crackers, mints and bananas when she said her stomach was upset before we left from our vacation! We will definitely come back our next trip to Savannah!

The staff is incredibly friendly. From the wait staff, to the valets, to the cleaning staff. Breakfast, although simple, is very good.
We got a Riverview King Suite. Very large with a kitchen and full size refrigerator and sitting area. Extremely clean and comfortable mattress.
The rooftop bar is awesome. We are non drinkers and they made some very good mixed non alcoholic drinks. The music was nice, the pool was great and the views were AWESOME.

Hotel location, amenities, and staff were all amazing! There is a $29 valet parking fee which seems pretty standard for Savannah, but the valet staff were as nice as any that I have seen. They engaged my kids in conversation, and the kids later commented "that boy was so nice!". The RTB (rooftop bar) is amazing with an awesome pool, comfortable seating (some cabanas with TVs), live music, and a well stocked bar! My kids loved going up there, as did the adults - fun for the whole family! The location is great as well, just at the eastern most end of River Street and a quick walk to all of the restaurants, bars, and shops that you desire. Will definitely be staying here again!

Stayed for a week. Loved the setting right along the river. Clean facilities and very friendly staff. The Rooftop Bar is a novel concept and the live music kinda neat...as long as you are not given a room right next to the door to the bar/pool and right next to where the band plays. They gave us that room, initially but quickly moved us when we requested something quieter. Overall it was a good stay and experience.

Amazing amenities! Roof Top Bar is excellent and has live music! Free cabanas around the pool! Some rooms have balconies overlooking the Savannah River. Sweet Shop carries local popular snacks. Beautiful rooms and the roof top bar is everything that they make it out to be. The pool up there is great for the kids and the live music is fantastic. Only reason I hesitated on the full 5 is because we waited long enough for a luggage cart to be brought up that we'd called twice and finally went down to get one ourself. To our surprise, 4 gentleman sat around downstairs as if they were awaiting something to do. However, this was a minor inconvenience for an overall lovely stay. The rooms were great and the people were so amazing to us and our kids. One woman went out of her way to give my crying daughter a hug and my other daughter a hug as well so she didn't feel left out and then got them some lemonade. I'm not sure if that's just part of the Southern way still (I haven't lived in the South in many years now and Georgia even longer), or if it was just this hotel, but I would consider going on vacation specifically here again to stay at this hotel again.

Not worth the cost. The bathroom shower head was rusted as well as the caulking around the tub. The space was very small to have been a suite. It would have been better as one room versus cramming all of that furniture in two tiny spaces. I've stayed in much better hotels for a lot less. There wasn't any complementary water in the room either which usually comes with all hilton honors rooms. When I called the front desk, they weren't free. The staff wasn't really friendly either.

My husband and I were guests at Homewood Suites and loved it. The room was comfortable and had a wonderful view of the river. There is valet parking with a gated parking lot and everyone was super friendly. The location is excellent, there are trolley tours available yet there is plenty to see and do within easy walking distance. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was beyond our expectations. We will definitely plan to stay there on our next visit.

“Great hotel. Great value. Very welcoming atmosphere. ”

We came to town to look at SCAD as a possible school choice. As a Hilton Honors member, we chose this hotel for the location and price. This is by far the best Homewood I have stayed at anywhere. So, don't let any of your past experience of Homewood bias your views. This is in a class by itself. Very modern lobby. Good and plentiful free breakfast. Super great views and decor of the rooftop bar. We met people traveling from all over the US ranging from young families to retired couples. We never walked by the front desk with a greeting. All the staff was very attentive and friendly.

I need more stars to rate my experience at Homewood Suites. Let's start with the staff. Always smiling, always helpful, always willing to go the extra mile and even the valet men are outstanding!

Moving onto the night life. I was lucky enough to have booked on two nights where Luke Lander was playing. Skip going to downtown Savannah and head up to the Roof Top Bar. They've got the best music, good drinks, and an incredible atmosphere. Mike Ingram who works upstairs at RTB! is one of a kind. If his genuine personality and harmonica skills don't make you want to hangout up there for hours then his customer service will.

Moving onto the actual rooms. First off, these rooms are massive. Larger than anything I have ever seen. The rooms were very clean, stocked with EVERYTHING I need... including plates, silver wear, and ice. They actually had makeup removers on the counter which is something that I have never seen before but working so late I was so grateful for. What really topped it off was the sweet note left in my room by the woman who cleaned. Her name was KC. Yes, it was a generic note of her name and a smiley face to enjoy my stay but it was so warming!

I have 0 negative things to say about Homewood and even cried a little bit saying goodbye to the staff. Thank you for such a treat. I will definitely be back.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart Homewood.

Excellent hotel in the historic district. Faces the Savannah river, allows for leisure walk along the river with plenty of shops and eateries. The hotel has a great view of the city from the roof to bar. Austin and the rest of the front desk staff are helpful and extremely nice. The entire hotel staff are helpful and friendly. This is my go to spot for Savannah.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights for a quick weekend getaway. This hotel is very nice, new, and clean! The front desk and valet staff were all very nice and helpful in every encounter that we had with them. The rooftop bar and pool area is also very nice. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to a friend.

Friendly staff and great rooftop bar. Nice that they had happy hour beers and snacks from 5-7, and our sevice by Manati was spot on. Thanks for the great business trip Homewood!

Love this hotel. It's so new, everything is fresh. Convenient location to the waterfront & historic sites. The staff here is genuine & friendly, they do care about your stay. Through Roof Top Bar is an added plus, heated pool, fire pit, drinks bar, fantastic views. I always stay here when I can.

From the staff to the beautiful rooms, this place is great. Very clean. Free breakfast is good, too. Mandatory valet service is $26. Get a corner suite with a river view if you can!

Upon arrival we were greeted by the valets, two very nice young men. When checking in, the lady behind the desk was extremely helpful. The view from the rooftop bar/pool is absolutely beautiful and the drinks aren't bad either. We did not get into the pool because it was 34 degrees outside, but the pool is heated and very clean. Our room was very clean and quiet. The free breakfast is nicely prepared and tastes excellent. Overall it was a fantastic stay and we will be staying again if in Savannah. This is a place I would stay for couples weekend, family stay, or even a girls weekend.

The hotel itself was beautiful and clean, the hotel staff was friendly and our room had plenty of space to be comfortable. A few deltas were that we received no toiletries on our first night, there was no safe in the room, no bathtub and no stairs (except exit ones for emergency). Even so, these were deltas I could live with. My main reason for giving only 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 was the Mandatory valet service. Firstly, one of the valets was inexperienced, unable to get our manual into reverse and, rather than asking for help from us or from a coworker, just went for it and pulled forward, nearly hitting the parking stop. He, then, opened the windows and sat in the rain staring as he tried to figure it out. I wound up having to walk and meet him to tell him how to work the vehicle. When he finally arrived back, he stalled right in front of us. Even this would have been fine, but the last straw was the fact that they left our passenger window down and just sitting in the lot, which we discovered when we stopped by for something in our car. Not only was the mandatory valet pricy ($26 per night), but it was subpar to say the least.

We loved everything with one exception: DO NOT STAY in room 708 if you like to sleep in. It's directly under the gym it would appear and every morning sometime between 4-6am we would hear the thumping of a treadmill and/or the loud dropping of weights on the floor. The front desk staff seemed to be aware of this issue, but no offer was made to switch us or fix the issue, they simply said "we put signs up about the weights." I get it, you can't leave a room vacant forever, but perhaps you could put the workout crowd in those rooms? We had a family of 4 and thankfully the kids slept through it but it wasn't what I expected in a nearly new hotel.

Other than that, this property is gorgeous and all the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the bellhops/valets.

Wonderful staff. Long walk, but that's what Savannah is about! Great location near River Street and Pirate House. Staff are very attentive to any needs. We forgot and left our do not disturb note on the door and left for the day and needed the room freshened. When we got back we asked and they were happy to oblige. Also great breakfast with usual hot stuff and waffles, yogurt, fruit, etc. Night social is good to stop and get a drink but don't expect much from the food. Paltry salad bar and one or two meat choices. But plenty of wine, beer, coffee, and hot chocolate for the kids. We stayed for a week at Christmas with our two boys and the hotel was decked out for the holidays. Not a B &B atmosphere but a great hotel especially for families.

Location is good; walkable to major attractions. When we checked in; bathroom was dirty, but they promptly cleaned it on first call. Breakfast is great. Rooms are way too small for a suite; rooms are very congested and doorways are narrow.

This hotel is located at the far end of the main River St strip (away from City Market). However, it is still very conveniently located to everything. Lots of Savannah is best seen on foot anyway, and it is practically on the corner for a dot bus stop (free town shuttle) to get around that way. There is no restaurant inside, but there are many eateries located even within a 5 minute walk.

The front desk hosts are very welcoming - the lady who checked me in remembered my name the next day! Even the valet attendant was more than happy to make himself available for suggestions on where to go for drinks, entertainment, etc. The lobby bar offered great drinks at great prices with a $5 daily special.

We had a nice room with a cool laminate plank flooring leading into a snazzy print carpet, both chocolate shades that coordinated with the contemporary sleek brown decor. The kitchenette had a full size fridge, microwave, 2-burner stove and dishwasher.

I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone.

First time in Savanah and I know where I will stay again when I come back! I think that you have some of the most helpful and friendly staff that I have encountered ! My wife and I met friends here for a 40th birthday weekend and we all had nothing but great things to say about our stay! Thank you for a memorable experience !!

Excellent! I've stayed here twice for work conferences instead of the Marriott next door. Clean, modern and a great location. Rooms are compact, though they may have larger rooms; not sure. Perfect for business travel. It's almost like a little studio apartment since it has a kitchenette. The breakfast at hotel was much better than other Hilton properties, like Hampton inn. I highly recommend this hotel.

This has become the favorite place for us to stay in Savannah. The rooftop view is amazing! You can see the entire historic district with a birds eye view, with private cabana areas and a bar.. Breakfast in the morning is always delicious, with something for everyone to enjoy. You're but steps away from the excitement of River Street and the staff is incredibly accommodating. The rooms are all well appointed and the beds are like falling into a cloud.

This place is great! Best breakfast I've had at a hotel and the evening social hour was an unexpected perk. I helped myself to the salad bar and local craft beer and met some cool people all for no extra charge. The staff treated me like royalty and really went the extra mile to make sure my needs were met. Definitely would stay again!!

First off, incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Everyone made you feel at home. The hotel is nicely situated away from the crowds but easy to walk to. The room is modern, spacious, and comfortable. The rooftop deck with pool is a standout. Great little privacy cabanas, lounge chairs and firepits. A full breakfast in the morning.
This hotel far exceeded our expectations. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. An excellent choice in a great city.

Excellent hotel! We just spent our honeymoon week here and absolutely loved every bit of it. Every single staff member we ran into spoke to us asking how we were doing and how we were enjoying our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. I left my wallet on the trip down and had it shipped to the hotel and let the ladies at the desk know the situation and what time it should have arrived. They were very accommodating and my package arrived about 4 hrs late and the lady even gave the ups driver a hard time about being so late. We want to give special attention to one of the engineers, Jesse, and one of the staff, Melissa. We seen these two absolutely everywhere taking care of things and we got to know the two of them a bit and they were really great people. We have never had service and hospitality this great at any place we've ever stayed. And when we go back to stay in Savannah, it won't even be a discussion where we'll be staying. I really can't say enough great things about our entire week stay but we loved everything about this hotel. We felt like we were at home. Thank you so much guys and keep up all that great work!

Great rooms with amazing views! The service was spectacular. Our first room was mess up from a water leak upstairs and they immediately switched and upgraded our room. They were very kind and courteous. Also, the breakfast is great!
We will return!

Had an awesome weekend in Savannah. We spent our 1st night at a terrible motel on Tybee. After finding the new Homewood on Riverstreet... We booked the last two nights of our getaway week at Homewood. The staff was super nice, and the rooftop pool was breath taking. Plus our rate was better than tybee! We're coming back soon! Love Homewood.
