Awesome hotel experience! All kinds of things to do. The breakfast was really great. Only downside was the pool room was kind of stuffy.. Needs better ventilation. Still 5 stars for me.

Really lovely accommodations and service. Breakfasts were good, but not consistently great. I caught athletes' foot from the carpet. I didn't trust the cleanliness of the hot tub water or the pool. Bed was comfortable, but the duvet was extremely awkward. Air conditioner worked well.

Absolutely phenomenal! Each room feels like its own apartment. Each one contains a microwave, stove, dishwasher, cookware, dishes, utensils, etc. It even has a full refrigerator (not the usual mini-fridge like in other hotels). The hotel also includes a basketball court, putting green, and gazebo. The pond adjacent to the hotel gives it a pleasant atmosphere! The staff is also top notch - they gave us complimentary gifts during our stay. If I could, I’d give this place 6 stars.

Our extended family have used Homewood for several family gatherings. It has been so perfect. We love the venue! It provides a beautiful common space for us to spend time together, both inside and outside. The breakfast that is included is great! The rooms are just what we need. The kitchen, including a full size fridge, was perfect for after a long road trip to get there as we had a lot of food packed into our vehicle. We also appreciated a room that had a separate sleeping room and sitting room so that we could close the door for some privacy between us and our kids. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating, and did their best to fulfill any requests from our oversized group to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! This place definitely has our hearts for future gatherings.

What a great place! Really really clean! Continental breakfast is way more than that it's like a full buffet! Very friendly accommodating. I can not find anything bad. Easy access to everything, nice water view.

I've stayed here probably 4 times, it's a great stopping point in between Minneapolis and Austin or Albuquerque which I visit often. Everytime I've stayed here the staff is extremely friendly, respectful, and helpful. The prices are reasonable the times I've stayed and the complimentary breakfast is one of the best I've had. Only con is their fitness room can't really offer what I would like.

Lovely decor, especially for the as season. Liked the library. If unable to walk long distances, be sure to ask for a room near the elevator. This is a big place with long hallways!

Not a bad experience. Staff pleasant, mantaince staff very quick to come and fix issues with the room (missing HDMI cable on TV, nonworkung phone). Breakfast was a very standard hotel buffet, definitely nothing special, but not bad either. Pet friendly, although I was not offered any of the amenities (pet bed/treats) mentioned in some of the reviews below. Rooms well appointed, but at least the King suite we stayed in was on the small side compared to others in the same price range. Overall, I think it depends on what you're looking for. If you are looking for a hotel with high-end furnishings this may be the hotel for you. If you are looking for more high-end amenities there may be a better choice in the same price range.

We stayed here overnight on our way from Colorado to Texas. Upon arrival, we were offered an upgrade from a 1 bedroom King with a Waterfront view to a 1 bedroom with 2 Queens, which we accepted since we arrived pretty late at night and thought the extra bed would be easier than dealing with the pullout sofabed for our 6yo. As it turned out the upgrade was a ground floor, handicapped accessable room, arms length from the back door of the hotel. The accessable shower was pretty awkward -- the button that held the sliding shower head was broken and it wouldn't stay in the higher position. Aside from that, the back door slammed pretty loudly every few minutes as other guests went in and out throughout the night. When the attendant asked my wife how our night was during checkout, she mentioned the issues. They apologized, but let her know there wasn't anything they could do since we didn't check-in with our Hilton Honors number. I shared our experience in response to the "how was your stay" email. They offered us 25,000 Honors points -- for comparison, the room we'd booked originally currently goes for around 60,000 points per night. 3 stars for the customer service attempt, but not really a restful experience overall.

Very nice Homewood Suites. They have studio and one bedroom rooms. Both room types are about the same size, the one bedroom just has a dividing wall. The rooms have a small kitchen. The hotel has a pantry store and complementary breakfast. Hotel is also dog friendly.

This hotel is exceptionally well run. The hotel itself is kept in pristine condition, inn side and out. The staff is absolutely fantastic... to include everyone. The front desk are some of the most highly competent I've dealt with in guest services, and I do so often. Highly recommend this establishment for any size party and any occasion.

We used this gorgeous hotel as our wedding hotel. My bridesmaids and I stayed in a suite with 2 queen beds and a separate sitting room with pull out sofa the night before the wedding. The room was very spacious and had enough closet space for all 5 of our dresses. The beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast in the morning was great and the view from the sitting area is beautiful. On our wedding day the staff went above and beyond to provide us with a great experience. i was able to leave room keys for my day of coordinator and my husband at the front desk so they had access to the suite. When my husband went to check in to our wedding night hotel they upgraded us to a presidential suite for free! The presidential suite was amazing and over the top for our special day. Thank you so much to all the staff on September 21, 2017 who helped us have a relaxing stay!

I arrived to take a tour of the hotel. The staff was amazingly friendly. The lobby was packed with tables and felt crowded. The decor was dated. The rooms were very nice, and I loved that every room has a separate sitting area with big TV's in both areas.

I tried reserving a room for my sister as a wedding gift, but the website wouldn't allow it. Then I tried calling, enduring a glitchy computer system, and finally talking to a person, who said we would need to make the reservation in person. Luckily, the hotel is here in town, so I went and got it done rather quickly. The staff was very helpful and the lobby looked immaculate.

Ample parking but a fair amount of it isn't that close to an entrance. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms are just typical for this establishment. The area in which it is located is quiet in the evening.

Friendly & accommodating staff, very clean facilities, the social hours food & beverages include many fresh & healthy choices including tasty wine, cold draft beer & other non alcoholic options. Breakfast is hot & healthy as well. Definitely one of my faves of places to stay when I'm visiting Wichita.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites and held a spa day for my daughter and her friends. It was a great place to have it! We had a suite with 2 queen beds that worked perfectly. There was room for all our planned activities, plus swimming and breakfast. We checked out Moana from the hotel library too!

I didn't stay overnight, I was picking my daughter up from staying the night with out of town relatives. The lobby was gorgeous and clean. Behind the 2 sided fire place in the lobby was the dining area. Beautiful and comfortable feeling. Rooms were super nice. They stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. Chairs were comfortable. I didn't feel the beds so I cant comment on that. The towels were pretty rough. But I've never stayed at a hotel where they weren't.

Great stay in general. This was a solo business trip; working down at McConnell AFB. Front desk staff excellent; very pleasant and accommodating. Staff in general was great. Nice location; relatively quiet. Good restaurants within walking distance. Several shopping plazas nearby. Laundry room has 2 washers and 4 dryers; dryers work great. Not really a lot to complain about. Beer and wine at evening social is a nice plus. Highly recommend and would stay at again.

I'm actually staying at this hotel right now! As a diamond member, I have stayed at Hiltons all over the country at all star levels. This hotel is the cleanest and most well ran out of all of them (not taking away from the others but this one has it down). The staff here are warm and greet you like they really care that you decided to stay. Everyone is so helpful and accommodating. The evening reception is wonderful, the server is constantly checking to see if you need anything..Great guy! I couldn't find a dirty spot in the lobby or the room. The upkeep is second to none. Thank you Homewood..You are now my choice for business in Wichita.

This was one of the nicest Homewood Suites I've been to. It's very clean and looks brand new. All if the staff are friendly and go out of their way to greet you and make you feel welcome. They're very good about keeping the breakfast items hot and filled. The location is also quiet and has shopping and restaurants nearby. My only issue, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5, is there was a strong odor in the hallway during our entire stay. Made me a little sick to my stomach.

Best stay ever at a hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best with lots of choices and never out of anything. The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty for the kids to do, outdoor basketball court and golf putting green, indoor pool and hot tub, games and movies to take to the room. The hotel is close to shopping and great food choices. Going back soon with more friends and family.

This was a very nice hotel with friendly staff. The rooms were spacious and clean. The patio area behind the hotel is beautiful and a very nice place to relax in the evening. Stayed May 2015 A friend and I booked a night stay at this hotel based on reviews from Trip Advisor, which did not disappoint. The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Wichita close to the River Front. The area is a little rough, but the hotel offers monitored parking in their parking garage which is connected to the hotel. Check in/out was easy and efficient. The rooms themselves were beyond well kept. All bedding and amenities appeared brand new and in excellent condition. Unfortunately it was pouring rain during our visit so we did not get to take advantage of the outdoor patio and beautiful trail along the river. NEXT TIME!!

Very displeased with my stay. The property is nice however their website didn't mention anything about a party they were hosting. The loud music kept us from having that "at home" feeling they want you to have. This is the first and last time I stay here.

Very nice property all around. Nice location too for shops/restaurants. Probably the best kept breakfast area I have experienced. I see some complained about soundproofing in the rooms, but we didn't experience any problems on that front. Slept with the windows open and it was perfectly peaceful. Highly recommended property in my opinion.

This is the only place I stay when I am in Wichita on business. The staff is very friendly and the first time I tried to stay there they were out of rooms, they helped me find another hotel which unfortunately wasn't great and staff wasn't friendly at all, but the manager here at Homewood invited me back for their evening reception for lite supper and cocktails all because they didn't have a room for me. In my book that is going above and beyond. Most people only bother with a review for something negative, but I am happy to leave a post to brag on what and exceptional experience this is every time I stay here. Oh and the view is incredible in the evening with the sun reflecting off the water. I only stay here and you should too.

Perfect experience - from reservation to departure. The hotel is lovely and has a pond with walking path, patio area, the pool and spa area look out onto that lovely vista, there is a cozy "library" area, the lobby and dining rooms are elegant and the room...best we've ever stayed in. We got the 2 bedroom suite as we were traveling with 2 teenagers and having separate sleeping quarters was priceless and the fact that they each had their own beds in their bedroom was terrific. The free breakfast was much more than expected - cinnamon rolls, eggs (with salsa, cheese, sour cream toppings available), sausage, biscuits, gravy, boxed cereals, hot oatmeal, granola, fruits, juices, coffee - even had stevia for my coffee which is hard to find! We thought the hotel was new its in such great shape but they've been there for several years. Very nice area - Fox & Hound, PF Changs and little mall within walking distance; Jose Peppers, Cheddar's, movie theater right up the street. We will return!
