ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity
• Use eco-label housekeeping products

ISO 50001

ISO 50001 is based on the management system model of continual improvement also used for other well-known standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. This makes it easier for organizations to integrate energy management into their overall efforts to improve quality and environmental management.

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Great hotel in a great area. Loved the spacious and clean room, with a comfy bed! The staff sent me messages prior to our arrival to ask if we needed anything extra in the room and had our extra pillows waiting on the bed at check in. Will definitely return next time we are in the city.

A funeral In the mist of COVID-19 caused me to be on the road driving from Florida. This hotel did a great job of providing contact-less services. Front desk associates Michelle and Michael were exceptional in assisting me with last minute corrections for a 10AM funeral. Thank you all and please stay safe.

Room was outstanding. Roomy clean and comfortable. Hot buffet breakfast and outstanding happy hour with soup and salad was complimentary and plenty for a nice dinner. The hotel shuttle was unreliable. But the front desk did reimburse me when I waited over 45 min for shuttle. Area is residential so I was challenged when searching for a cafe that offered alcohol.

The hotel is really nice! The staff is friendly and helpful. I did not stay here overnight but my family members did and they really liked it. I spent a few days in and out of the hotel. It is a perfect location for school events and UCity. The beds were comfortable and the even the pullout bed in the suits we're comfy. It was very clean, there were no weird smells or anything. The rooms could stand to be updated but it doesn't look outdated by any means. The top floors have and AMAZING view.

I stayed here for a work conference, and the rooms were nice but the staff was the best part. I had an issue with a product supplier and ended up needing to have my conference materials delivered to the hotel. They were extremely helpful, even delivering the materials to my room and shipping a couple of boxes that arrived late back to my DC office with no hassle. They have a free breakfast and the evening happy hour is a nice touch.

This is a nice no-frills hotel if you are looking to stay near Penn or Drexel. The check-in process is always easy. They have free breakfast and a free evening Happy hour with food, beer, and wine. The pool and gym are small, but functional. I also love the full size fridge, stove, and microwave in each room. This is my go-to for visits to Philadelphia.

Hotel was nice and staff was friendly. Location is good... walking distance from Penn and some good restaurants. The train was also within walking distance providing easy access to center city.
One issue we had was with housekeeping. After asking multiple times for the room to be cleaned, we left for dinner and returned around 8:30pm. The room was not serviced even after asking many times. They did send someone up to make the bed and provide fresh towels, but overall, it wasn’t a pleasant experience.

Room was nice, but a little on the small side. Was not happy about the $42.00 a night parking fee. Think a hotel should provide free parking especially after paying such high price. Was disappointed that Amy booked us at the wrong hotel. I asked for Homewood Suites on City Ave. She booked us at University City.

Convenient location, near to Penn campus and Market-Frankford subway line! Great rooms with a stovetop, microwave, and full size fridge along with various plates, utensils, and pots and pans. Walls are a bit thin so hope you don't get stuck next to a crying baby but otherwise, a very nice hotel in a great spot.

this is an excellent place for travelers, who need to be near the city center as well as to the University of Pennsylvania. Rooms are extremely good with good breakfast served. They have evening lounge time for everyone, which I liked. Everyone in the hotel were courteous and helpful. The rooms are spacious (For two people) with a living space and full fledge kitchen. I will visit again here.

It is a great hotel that is oddly difficult to find your way into. The door is not on Walnut Street, rather off to the side with a sidewalk between houses. Anyway, that's not important. The lobby is on the third floor. Also odd but manageable. The hotel is clean, modern and we'll appointed. The breakfast was great, complimentary and on real plates. Wonderful, glass surround dining area.

Good hotel, good location. My room needed a bit of tlc for the price I paid (stains on floor, shower sprays everywhere, and the dishwasher wasn't clean [bad filter?]). Probably would stay again if I could get it cheaper.

The hotel staff is amazing. My wife and stayed for 31 days while our son was being treated at CHOP. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome and went out of their way to show they truly cared about what we where going through. The shuttle driver looked after my wife while I was away. He went as far as helping her down the steps and waiting until she walked into the hospital to pull away. The cleaning staff where so kind. One of them would take the time to talk to my wife when we where alone and even took a moment to pray with us. She was so kind hearted that we where taken back. These are the kinds of people who possess the true kindness that gives Hilton a name that shines. They go above and beyond in so many more ways than I can list. Thank you for a great stay

I was there for a church event. We used what I guess was one of the conference rooms. It was nice. The one door opened directly to the outside and the other into the hotel. The restrooms were clean and neat. The only odd thing was that they were so dark.

This is a well located hotel near the University, and at short distance from downtown. For less than $150 I got a very nice sure with a fridge and a stove. Would use again. Just one thing: aside from valet at $20 per day, there is no parking.

OK, great hotel; beaut suite OK, average view (1114), but no noise and tremendous staff. Minor hassle to start; we came in on the lower level (Reception is on #3) and the Concierge was on a break. Sorted out soon enough, and brilliant service from there on

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around...

Lovely suite. All the facilities were provided, refrigerator and freezer, kitchen utensils, washing machine, dishes, iron, toaster, and ... . Personnel were welcoming and helpful. At 1st day they had an empty room so they checked us in at 8 o'clock. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. They have social activities at the evenings from Monday to Friday and provide foods. I did not use the pool and Gym, but it looked fine. It is located few blocks from university of Pennsylvania and the neighbourhood is so charming and clean. It is located 30 minutes walk from train station and 20 minutes walk from exam center for people who are going to take USMLE.

Love staying here. My daughter especially lives the pool. Morning breakfasts/brunch are great and the staff is helpful. You are staying in University City, so there are lots of Penn students around, but if you want to stay in that area, this is a good deal when you consider breakfast and having a kitchenette.

No ventilation, poor cooling system. I was a patient going to UPENN and three of us came. We chose a suite with separate living area with pull out. There was absolutely no air in that from room and even in the bedroom it never got below 73 degrees even with the air going constantly. For a sick person this heat was horrible. I almost passed out. We left the next morning and I will not come back here when returning to UPenn. The font room is also so small that the pull out was right up against the small dining table. We felt like we were on top of each other while sitting in that room so it was useless. There was no room to eat so the kitchen is also useless unless just one person is staying. The ice maker had been turned off in the fridge which made no sense because the hotel was completely sold out so obviously someone would be staying in the room. Also the stench in the freezer was awful. I have to through away the ice packs we brought from home because they have that awful not clean freezer smell to them. Once the ice did begin to make it tasted horrible. Just not a good experience and was very hard on me as a patient. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because it's the only hotel with a shuttle to the hospital.

I've stayed here three times now but wasn't paying, so I can't comment on value-for-money.
It's a modern, clean, functional, characterless, "executive" hotel. On the whole I had good experiences, but there were a few problems, e.g. I had to ask twice before someone was sent to deal with a faulty smoke-alarm in my room.
The swimming-pool does not open before 9am, which is strange and unhelpful.
In the apartments, the bedroom is the furthest one from the floor, which is good because it means you are less likely to hear people in the corridors when you;re trying to sleep. But it means that the first room (kitchen + sitting room area) has no natural light and is rather gloomy.

The rooms are really clean and spacious. The hotel has an overall modern feel to it. Public transport options are numerous and the property is just a short walk from the SEPTA Market-Frankford Line. The in room WiFi, however, is quite slow, even for a free service. For a place of this caliber and price, I'd expect the free WiFi to be at least 5Mbps...

Was here for a conference. Picked this hotel as it was close to the venue of the conference. The rooms were very good, well maintained and the service was good. The location is a big plus as it's close to UPenn's campus and there are a lot of good restaurants around offering different cuisines. Definitely recommend this place!

Nice room, but minor things made it mildly unpleasant. The room was really hot and changing the thermostat didn't seem to do much. Our door was slightly unaligned making it hard to close. The dinning room for breakfast was extremely warm.

When you get let off at main entrance by taxi it isn't evident you have to walkup a flight of stairs to the lobby, unitil you can't find it. Staff was friendly and check in was painless.

Room relatively clean, large stain on carpet near door. Uses room key card in slot to "power" room although my room already seemed to have power. Turned on ice maker in freezer, began making ice kitchen seems equipped. Sitting area is comfortable, table has dining chair and ergonomic chair to serve dual function table/desk.

Bathroom clean, several larger towels and hand towels. Ironing board and iron, no shoe brush but a blow dryer is stowed away in cabinet. HVAC system and thermostat nice, floor lamp wobbly took all of 30 seconds to tighten. No way to set time on room clock, only alarm and time is off 4.5 hours. They fortunately seem to have wake up service, cell phone alarm will suffice.

One bedside lamp switch is sprung. King sized bed is full king with duvet and 5 pillows, mattress seems standard. Not bad but needs some attention to room details.
