Certifications

ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity
• Use eco-label housekeeping products

ISO 50001

ISO 50001 is based on the management system model of continual improvement also used for other well-known standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. This makes it easier for organizations to integrate energy management into their overall efforts to improve quality and environmental management.

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Worthington, Ohio. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Greetings in the hallways and at breakfast were appreciated. Had normal hotel breakfast items such as sausage, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, etc. Beds are comfy and well kept. Overall a good experience but not a 'wow' experience so I don't feel it earned 5 stars. It's about what anyone would expect from a Homewood suites and nothing more.

A nice place to stay if you aren't looking for fancy. Staff is very nice and always willing to help. We're told our room was non smoking and clearly the people in the room were smoking next to us since we could smell it from the adjoining room door. Told the manager, but I don't know if anything was done about it. Walls were very thin. The location is close to lots of food options.

Place was ok.. the area it was in was nice and it was not a far drive to a lot of places. We were given a courtesy upgrade which was nice however if we would have paid for the room we were upgraded to I would have been upset. The place is in need of a remodel which it did appear they were starting to do at one end of the hotel. The wall paper was peeling in out room the bathroom had a hole in the wall where someone had pulled the towel hook off, maintenance thought stuffing paper towels in it would make it look nice.

This hotel is a little different, the lobby and breakfast area is separate the rest of the hotel. Almost feels like an apartment complex. Parking lot is small and the only handicap parking was at the lobby area. Parking lot was kind of dark or dimly lit. The hallways were under construction and smelled old. The room was good, size was ok. Breakfast was average at best. Definitely could be better. Tub and toilet area is extremely tight. Front desk clerk was nice.. Movie theater and a few places to eat are definitely a plus. All in all, not a bad hotel. With a few improvements this would be a really good hotel.

It's an old hotel. It's not especially nice. There are better options in the area. You should investigate those.

We recently stayed at Hilton Homewood normally we stay at Hilton Embassy Suites . We found it more personable type of people and staff . Honestly embarrassing we got a lite breakfast and dinner at Homewood .Verse staying at our normal Embassy Suites were we received no perks.Rooms were very clean exercise room also cleaned daily . Staff attentive to our need polite you saw the same people every day . Not just every other day or bouncing them around on different shifts you new who would be there every time of day added plus verse Embassy . You also could bring your own food and cook if you preferred pets were welcomed .We will be back in March look forward to it we spent few days do to a child birth which also went well . I might add there is plenty of restaurants to eat at movie theater grocery store near by really not hard to find stuff to do at night .

So I read other reviews and I was shocked as how wildly the reviews fluctuated. It was a little hesitant to stay frankly, and even told the front desk attendant that I wanted to check out the room first because of it. He was super nice and said just to give him a call from the room and let him know one way or the other.

I'm not sure where some of these other people stayed but our room was just lovely. It was a little more relaxed and more of a homey kind of room. A little kitchen, with dishes and cookware. We had two rooms in our suite.

Both attendants were very nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay again. Take severely negative reviews with a grain of salt.

Room was nice. Only downside was having to go outside to reach the breakfast area. No internal access.

This place is sketchy. I expect more from Homewood. So bad that I only stayed one night when I reserved three. Suite was dirty - crumbs on floor, hairs in bathroom. And desperately in need of a remodel: peeling paint on walls and ceiling. Bathtub was extremely slow to drain. Smoke detector chirping and the maintenance person was unable to fix. Traffic noise all night on the highway side. They offered to switch me to a new room but I had had enough at that point. Only reason I gave 2 stars is that the bed was comfy and the breakfast decent.

Hotel staff was polite and apologetic for the issues we experienced. Unfortunately the initial room we were checked into was covered in water from a leak. The phone was also broken so we had to go back to the front desk to get another room on the third floor. While the room was non smoking the floor hallway reeked of cigarettes and marijuana. To top it off in the morning when taking our dog outside there were people smoking pot in the parking lot. We have stayed at a lot of Homewood suites and this is the first time I've ever had an issue. Unfortunately the experience leaves a lot to be desired. Will never stay at this location again.

The location was great, as it was just down the road from the location I was training in. I stayed there on 3 separate occasions. The rooms have been hit and miss. The first one I stayed it was pretty beat up. The closet door was off the track and wouldn't open, parts of the trim were missing, etc. The second room was much nicer and clean, except for the still wet tea bag that was sitting in the sink (wasn't mine). The last room I stayed in was okay. Food is decent. Dollar wine and beer during the evening social is popular.

Great hotel with amazing service. Pool was shut down due to bad chlorine, but it was out of their control. Still a good experience.

This hotel is different than most. Check in is in a separate building. As you walk between the "club house" to the building with the guest rooms, you'll pass a volleyball court, patio with fireplace and grill, and an outdoor pool. There's a happy hour in the club house. Inside the guest room building is a pretty amazing workout room. Weights, treadmills, bikes, and more. Definitely more extensive than other hotel workout rooms I've seen. As for the rooms, they're small but adequate. The pull out couch was decent. The bathroom was also small. Overall, this hotel has great potential. I wish I had more time to experience the best it had to offer.

The suite was well appointed, comfortable, and clean. It is a little aged but not very. The breakfast was good. Also there was good food around the hotel. Parking slots are a bit small but that's just a nitpick. In the morning, I noticed that the water in the shower did not work. They immediately got someone to fix it and made sure I had all the time I needed to leave as that put me behind schedule to check out on time.

Terrific customer service! When I got there the room I was given had an odor to it. I mentioned it to front desk and asked for some room spray. Instead I was immediately given not only a room change but upgrade. Polite, curteous and excellent accommodations

This turned out to be a great choice for a place to stay. Easy access to the places in Worthington we wanted to visit, yet straightforward access to the interstate to get to the university. Rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast had plenty of good food, though seating was a bit limited. Parking was just fine. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff was very friendly made me feel right at home I love breakfast and the dinners as well I had to go to the hospital and got sick while I was there nothing to do with them of course but had go to the hospital due to it and they were nice enough to even drive through there and check on her periodically to make sure I was OK this was in my opinion the best thing I've ever had of any hotel I've ever had

Good business hotel in a seemingly decent area. Courteous staff, good breakfast (I'm partial to hot breakfast) and good clean rooms! The only thing I'd improve on is HHonors members and the size of TV in the room.

The rooms have everything a one bedroom apartment have. The kitchen is fully furnished with everything to cook a meal and eat a meal. The rooms are very spacious and very clean. Location of the rooms are near tons of set down restaurants and not even 5 minutes down the street you have Kroger plus tons more restaurants. Homewood suites is a wonderful, clean place to stay. I highly recommend it.

This place is rated high on TripAdvisor but it shouldn't be. The walls are thin - you hear too much - and there is massive construction around the area. Construction as in driving piles from 9 PM to 3AM every night!! Try sleeping with that constant pow .. pow .. pow .. all night long. I will NEVER stay around this area again. Construction won't be done until 2016 at the earliest. The room was pretty good overall but dated and in need of some modernization.
