Certifications

ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity
• Use eco-label housekeeping products
• Use sustainable forestry certified paper

ISO 50001

ISO 50001 is based on the management system model of continual improvement also used for other well-known standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. This makes it easier for organizations to integrate energy management into their overall efforts to improve quality and environmental management.

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Over all good experience. Room was set up nicely but some details missed. Trash in living room trash can. No waters on check in (rewards perk) The next morning around 830am there was no coffee for twenty to thirty mins. Parking is less than ideal with city parking, most places have direction to a lot / garage and the charge is just added to your room. Lots of little things that made things less than ideal.

Loved the hotel but they really need to work out a deal with the parking. I am staying in the hotel and there was no in and out with parking. I spent 2 nights stay just in parking fees and that was not right at all.

Stayed for two days during a weekend football trip. Great location and loved the architecture. Rooms were updated and in great shape. Upgraded to a suite and had a good view and plenty of room. Breakfast was fresh and had alot of options. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great location in central downtown Cincinnati!! It is within walking distance to Fountain Square, the business district and many great restaurants!
Seemed to be in an older historic building. Hampton Inn Suites is in the same building just to the right hand side of the lobby... thought that was a bit weird.
Rooms were spacious with desk, kitchen, couch. Bathroom didn't have lotion and the way the door opens into the shower doesn't make much sense from a construction standpoint.
Large lobby and dining area for breakfast along with a billiards room, business center and a nice fitness center.
Has all the necessities for a quick trip to Cincinnati!

All their systems were down which was not their fault but it made a horrible and long check in process. The lobby and especially the hallways were way too hot. I am not sure if all the elevators we're working because it took forever to get one and then when it did open, it would already be full from higher floors. We stayed in a suite because we are a family of five, but the room set up was horrible. The sink and vanity were open to the bedroom with two beds so when I got up to get ready it also woke up everyone. Then when I got out of the shower I had to get dressed in the bathroom and then shave. My only other alternative would be to stand half baked in front of my whole family while I shaved. Whether you are staying in a larger suite like that with family or friends, how is that possibly a good set up. Breakfast was until ten but they had already started breaking it down by 9:30 when we got down there. Would have made it sooner if not for the elevators.

We stayed 2 nights and the 1st morning requested housekeeping to come back in a couple hours after we left for the NASCAR race in Kentucky. When they did come back, they did not touch the pull out couch which was opened into the bed and obvious it had been slept in, much less change the sheets or even attempt to make it. They did not take out the garbage and left the garbage can full in the kitchen area. They did make the bed in the bedroom and replaced the towels. We also had a coffee pot that was broken, so they brought us a new one, but it didn't have a basket, so it still wouldn't work. Heather then delivered it herself (I believe she was a manager) and she was very nice and apologetic. And if you smoke (even if you're okay with going outside) BEWARE. There are pan handlers everywhere and the hotel does not even provide a bench or ashtray out front. Due to back problems, I wanted to sit down, so I walked over to the parking garage where there was a concrete divider by the entrance (picture of that attached) that I could kind of sit on and was verbally scolded by the parking attendant at 8:30 in the morning (the valet said his name was Roger). He didn't even say Good Morning or politely ask me not to smoke there, he just scolded me in a gruff voice. He was like Oscar the Grouch! I said, Well, good morning to you too (sarcasm) and since we're spending so much money to stay here, it'd sure be nice if they'd at least put a bench out front with an ashtray. With the pan handlers and such, it was a pretty sketchy feeling going out after dark to smoke. Can't say I'd want to stay there again.

It was a very nice hotel. It was downtown, in a very old building with amazing architecture on the street level floor. The suite itself was very spacious (we had 2 adults, 4 kids). Full kitchen with a fridge/freezer. Staff was super nice and accommodating. The only problem we had was that it looked like someone had a pet in the room and there was alot of hair on the sheet. We simply asked for a new one and the lobby desk immediately handed me one. The breakfast wasn't great but it was enough. Super convenient parking garage right across the street with valet service. It was a great stay!

Weird to get into and not much direction on where to park or enter. Once inside though, a great, clean place to stay with lots of room. Well cleaned and very nice staff. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Didn't have time for drinks or anything at the lounge. Would recommend for business travel.

All Homewood Suites by Hilton provide large spacious suites with full size refrigerators and whole kitchen facilities. They have a social time at around 6PM on Monday through Thursday and serve casseroles, hamburgers, tacos and various salads.
Beer and champagne are provided. Something different each night I always look forward to a stay at any Homewood Suites.

Extremely accommodating personnel. The rooms are clean and spacious. I really appreciated the wonderful free breakfast that started at 6 am, in time for me to get to my work, and the afternoon free wine & beer was a special treat. I plan on returning.

I've stayed in places all over the country and this is by far one of my favorites! The room was beautiful and very clean. They have a wonderful workout facility and the staff are the best I've ever had! So pleased with my experience here!

They also offer a social on week nights with a small dinner and drinks! It was wonderful!

The room was nice and clean. The view was horrible as we just looked out on the top of another building. We were next to the noisy ice machine but fortunately the sound insulation was good and we did not hear the noise in our room. Coffee pot did not work. Hallways were very dirty with what looked like long time stains. Elevators sounded scary. Breakfast was fine and we especially appreciated the kindness of Shawna...the other helper was less postive...there were no plates, no bowls, no napkins at several times during our breakfast visit. When the missing eggs were filled...'slam'' the lid closed. bad attitude was felt by all around us. Thankfully, Shawna made us smile and went out of her way to help...Kudos to her!

My husband and I really enjoyed our 3 night stay. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast/evening snack staff are very attentive. Rooms are very spacious and clean. This location is centrally located with many dining options within walking distance. Parking garages directly across the street and right next store as well as valet parking. Highly recommend.

Being in an old art deco building I was a little skeptical of what the quality would be inside. However my fears were unfounded and inside is a very stylish modern hotel. The free breakfast and evening drinks are a great person and make the stay most enjoyable. I can't say much about the staff as I haven't needed to contact them and checked in with the Hilton app for a digital key meaning everything was sans human intervention. Just the way I like it.

Very convenient downtown location. Valet is $30 per day so I used attached parking garage for $15. Beware garage does not have in and out priviledges. 1st floor entrance is ugly but once you get to the 2nd floor lobby for check in the hotel is beautiful. Great fitness center.

Great location right in the downtown area. Not to far from the airport as well. Kind of an odd split situation with this hotel sharing another Hilton property. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and social hour is always nice. The HVAC is a little noisy, but not terrible.

Very nice building, rustic. Rooms were very clean, quiet, and comfortable. We stayed in the queen suite. Lobby is on the second floor, so you must enter the building and then go to the elevator, then to the second floor to check in, kind of confused us at first; not too terribly inconvenient though, and didn't detract from the overall experience.

Website when booking was confusing. We specifically looked for a hotel with a pool. When we got here we were told that it was "the other one" downtown that has a pool. It had a pool table. Not a pool. That wasn't the end of the world but when you pay more than $750 total for 3 night, I guess I thought it was reasonable to expect that there would be a pool for the kids to play in.

Pros: The rooms are spacious. It is located in the least trashy part of downtown Cincinnati. There is a good selection of restaurants and bars close by. Cons: You get hit up for money right outside of the hotel. Even the least trashy part of downtown Cincinnati is still crappy. The elevators are in bad shape. Would I book this hotel again.... Absolutely, just in a different city.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and rated it a 1 star. Primarily due to the valet curbing my rim and doing nothing about it. Well my girlfriend stays here when she parties down town so I gave valet another try after being informed that a new company took over. Needless to say I had a much more enjoyable experience. I talked with the head valet Corey (who is the most personable valet I have every talked to) that I could us an app and get my car back anywhere in the city. We used the app the next day after we checked out. The best part they returned are car a few blocks away at Maplewood. This service needs to be at every downtown hotel!!!

Really friendly staff at check in and check out. Very Spacious suite with full size refrigerator and microwave. Comfortable bed and awesome shower. Considering how I stay at hotels a third of the year, this Homewood Suites blew me away! The lobby is expansive and very clean. The woman at the front desk gave everyone a bottle of water upon checking in, which isn't an expensive gesture but it was certainly appreciated.

The room was huge! Well appointed, clean, and in great condition. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise as I either had the best powdered eggs of my life or they actually make them using whole eggs - either way, a significant change.

Well done, Homewood Suites!

I was attending the ICRS 2016 event and the hotel was within walking distance of the Duke Energy Convention Center. I parked at the lot across the street which was only 6$ a day, so not bad. Breakfast was provided as was dinner, they both had good selections, so that was nice. Room quality was nice and spacious and the kitchens had all the basic appliances and were in good quality. Overall, I have enjoyed my time here.

A+ , the staff went above and beyond. Dana at the front desk was professional, courteous and a great multi tasked. The valley parking staff also went above and beyond. Everyone made us feel like we where at home. Great restaurant options within walking distance . Many stores and attractions are within walking too. The breakfast was good and hot. It was always stocked up and the super friendly kitchen staff were great. Arthur in the dining area was so friendly , helpful and always had a smile! The room was fantastic & spacious. For my husband, 2 younger daughters and I , we reserved the 2 queen bed room. This room had its own dining room to the fully stocked kitchen. Off of that was the living room with a big TV and pull out couch(comfy). You enter the bedroom And you have a desk , 2 VERY comfortable beds, night stand and big TV. There is a door that you can close separating the bedroom and living room. The bathroom is normal hotel size. The water pressure was perfect with different water flow options. The bathroom sink area is off of the bathroom. The lighting is perfect for doing make up and hair . plenty of closet space And dresser space. Everything was perfect, very clean and organized. The hotel building is beautiful. My favorite thing has to be the elevator access. You can only go to the 1st floor out, 2nd floor lobby and whatever floor your staying on .You can only get the elevator to work with your key card. Love that safe feeling! We where in Cincinnati for the Newport aquarium (went before checking in) and the night reds game. We where able to check in early , get freshened up, walk to fountain square for lunch at rock bottom(highly recommend) . Then walk back and rest up before walking to the Reds game. The walk was pleasant and nice.

Awesome, amazing, A+! Great location, pristine condition, safe, friendly & helpful staff with elegant surroundings! Will definitely stay here again in the future. Only downside is parking which is common for the downtown location. If you're in & out frequently use the valet service. Love this hotel - don't hesitate to stay here. You won't be disappointed.

From the time we arrived at the front desk, the waiters, the maid service were all excellent. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. We rarely experience service like this. I've had the opportunity to travel the world and it was great to experience this type of service in my hometown.

Keep up the great work. Go Cincy!
