Great location not far from some dinning spots, a park and Top Golf! It was actually cheaper than the smaller no-kitchenette-rooms at some of the other hotels. Also loved that the vanity was outside of the bathroom, allowing things go much smoother with multiple guests. Staff were courteous and communicated effectively. Would definitely stay again!

Rooms were clean and well kept. Outdoor pool was nice and warm. The setting was relaxing. The stones around the pool were starting to come loose and it felt like walking on gravel with bare feet. But I'd stay again.

We live in the metro area but my husband and I love coming to this hotel to have a weekend getaway! Rooms are very spacious, clean and feel like you're in an apartment. Bedrooms are separate from the living room and you have the flexibility to close the door in the hallway if you want to separate yourself from the noise in the living room. We like that it comes with a full kitchen (including a stove, refrigerator and microwave!! They also serve a hot breakfast if you're not going to cook something in your room!

The room I saw was like a 2 room apartment and it was absolutely beautiful. The breakfast that was served was great and they stocked it up often. They had a basketball court and a pool. I highly recommend this hotel.

Loved the suite. We have stayed here before and enjoy the layout. Always very clean. A little disappointing that at 5:10pm on a Saturday there are no maintenance people on site to fix my broken TV remote. Also Sunday morning's 7:00am breakfast buffet was not entirely set up until 7:30. Overall it is definitely worth the price.

This hotel is a pretty standard Homewood property, it seems. I arrived too late to partake of the evening food service, but the breakfast was nice, with several options, all well tended to. The pool area had a number of guests in it and looked well kept, but I did not utilize it, nor did I access the fitness center or business center. The location near the interstate is convenient, and there are a few eateries, including Carrabba's, which are within walking distance. The front desk attendant was friendly and accommodating, and I had a pleasant and quiet evening here.

By far one of the better hotels to stay at if you are in the Overland Park area. Plenty of spacious rooms at the government rate. It is walking distance to restraunts like Hooters, Wild wings and some other local fair. Every weeknight they do free beer (Bud Light) and food in the lobby at 530. Their breakfast buffet is pretty standard. Only real downside is the gym, which is about the size of a standard hotel room.

Very nice hotel for the money. The daily meal and free drinks are great even if lacking a bit of varity. Bonus points for not playing fake news CNN in the lobby. My only complaint was my room AC couldn't get the room any colder than 70. The strong ceiling fan made up for it though.

Rooms are really nice and large. Slightly smaller than an average 1 bedroom apartment, including a kitchenette. Breakfast is included, standard options, but nothing made fresh. Would stay again.

My room wasn't ready when I went to check in at check in time which was 3pm. I waited 2 hours until my room was ready. I didn't feel welcomed or greeted like I normally in at any other Hilton hotels. Emailed the managers about the issue and never got a response. I will be staying at other hiltons in the area from now on.

i really like this hotel it has a home feeling about it . When i got to my room it felt like i was in my own little apartment . the rooms were clean and comfy, and my floor was very quiet. The staff was accommodating, the lady at the front desk really helpful she pointed out some great places to eat in the area. The hotel is located by some great places to eat. i would stay here again.

Nice, Clean, friendly
Can't speak to the pool it was winter while we were here.
Breakfast was really good, I know it depends more in who's in the hotel than they have control but it was quiet.

The staff isn't very warm and have a bit of a staring problem. For breakfast and the evening socials, it's so obvious the girls don't want to be there and are anxiously awaiting taking the food down. They'll start pulling stuff down like 10 minutes prior. The other reviewers are absolutely correct about no one being at the front desk most of the time. The hotel is a bit outdated so it doesn't really have that clean feel, but it's not "dirty". Overall, I like Homewood Suites but I probably won't stay at this location again.

Room was older but still nice. Staff was friendly on check in but only got one bottle of water. Rooms are always huge at Homewoods. The iron was probably the best I've used at a hotel. Hot water took a while to heat up.

Nice sized rooms, they are a bit older and aren't in the greatest condition and the elevators are not in the best condition. Breakfast was great with lots of selection! The pool is outdoors and not the cleanest. Around the pool are pressed rocks and lots are loose. I can't even walk barefoot my feet hurt too bad.

My family of 3 stayed here last weekend (March 3-5), really 4th-5th because we were driving from Texas and we left super late Friday and seemed like many elements derailed us and not to mention the map directing us to an office building instead lol.
We arrived to the hotel at 5am Saturday, super tired, hungry, and a bit cranky because our day was going to start in like 3 hours. Our check in person, Rob, was so friendly, personable, and super fast. He checked me in before my husband could even get the luggage cart to the car. He made us feel at home and even offered us some breakfast items that was placed out there even though breakfast didn't start until 7am.
The room we booked was the king suite and it was very nice and very clean. I loved that the kitchen was fully stocked on what we may have needed during our stay. Other places we would have to ask for them. It had a separate living and dining area and the bedroom was actually a bedroom. I have never stayed in a suite like this, most suites were more like studio suites where everything was open.
The only thing that I would critique would be that the hotel just needs to update some of their furniture and flooring. Otherwise we will definitely be staying here when we visit family. I do recommend this hotel.

Recently we had the pleasure of staying at the Overland Park, Ks Homewood Suites for 12 days. The experience was beyond any hotel I have ever stayed in the USA or abroad! The staff from the management to the housekeeping personal was the most efficient, friendly, accommodating group of people I have ever experienced! I can't say enough about this hotel. The food, service, and all the employees helped make our stay certainly feel like "home"! A special thank you to Jana, the assistant manager who really went above and beyond to support us in a time of need. Also, kudos to Al, Edison, Anne, Hector, Kim and so many others --- each employee became a smiling friendly face! Don't hesitate to book a stay here! You will not be disappointed! Oh, and the room was great!! Comfy king bed, fireplace, kitchenette, large bathroom, lush towels!!! ;)

Overland Park - Homewood Suites Nestled off College Blvd, close to many restaurants and the interstate... Very easy to find. Far enough away from the road/interstate noise... Stay was very enjoyable. Front desk personnel was very cordial and professional. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable.

This is a great place for large families!!! They have several suites. They have one that sleeps eight! No more paying for two rooms! The suites have nice little kitchens and it's very home-y. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a hot buffet and very good! No complaints whatsoever! We will stay again

My second time staying at this HomeWood Suites and my expectations where transcended yet again. Love the size of these rooms, it's like an apartment. Equipped with: living room, bed room, full kitchen, and bathroom. WiFi is really fast. To top it all off the staff was so hospitable and friendly. Thanks again for the great stay. Can't wait until my third visit.

This hotel is simply amazing. If you're considering booking it just do it, look no further and you will be impressed! I stayed in a suite and it was by far one of the best hotel experiences I've had to date. I arrived after midnight for a late checkin. Getting in late is always tiring but the front desk was so friendly and accommodating and checked us right into our room with ease. The room itself was incredibly spacious with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, living room, kitchen, and dining area. It would be perfect for families, business trips, or anyone who wants to feel like they're staying in a luxury apartment as opposed to a hotel. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom was extremely clean and modern. The hotel was going through some renovations when we stayed but it had no effect on our stay whatsoever. There was also a complimentary hot breakfast in the morning that made for a great start to the day. We will definitely be staying here any time we're in the KCMO area.

Near to office locations in overland park. Good breakfast option, has get together in evening with decent munching options. There aren't many walking distance restaurants.

Rooms are clean, like a small apartment with separate kitchen, living and bedroom. I liked the layout. Would come back here if I'm in this area again..

Never before have I stayed in a hotel with so many accommodations for such a small price. We checked into our room, which, with a kitchenette, living room, and large bedroom with two queen beds fit our needs perfectly. Shortly thereafter we realized that we would be offered complimentary dinner! The food was well prepared and very welcomed after our long drive.

The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff are kind and helpful. Just this morning we saw members of the kitchen staff singing happy birthday to a child whose family is staying in the suites!

I highly recommend this hotel.

Can't say enough about this hotel. The hotel was clean, staff is exceptional. Thanks to Jana and her crew that made our stay there so memorable. The breakfast was great and they also provided us food from Monday-Thursday for a lite dinner which included beer/wine and drinks for the kids. We had 11 families stay there together and they were so accommodating to us, letting us socialize in the lobby. Very relaxing place to stay. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was that the first room we were given the air conditioning went out overnight, they ere quick to have us moved. They were also having some trouble with the pool and did have to shut it down but were quick to fix it since it was 100 degrees outside. We travel with an AAU basketball team and we will definitely be using Homewood in other states. Thanks Again!

The employees were very friendly! Hotel was clean and well kept, with the exception of the pool. There was some sort of mechanical isue which caused the outdoor pool to be shut down for the length of our stay. Very disappointing, especially because of the heat and our plans to "chill" by the pool. Staff gave mixed information for the first day and a half. We ended up checking out early. They were finally draining the pool add we left...

I stayed at Homewood Suites for one night. The suite I stayed in was large, well lit, fully equipped, and very clean. I checked in late, so I called ahead to let them know and when I arrived they assisted me promptly. The gentleman at the front desk was in training so it took a few minutes to get checked in, but my room was ready for me once I got my two room keys. They didn’t tell me where my room was though and I went to the wrong side of the build which was a pain in the ass, but the place is pretty nice. Most of the staff speak Spanish and were helpful except for the check in. The hotel has everything you would expect from a Hilton for use by guests.

My three bed two bath full kitchen suite was great. The beds were clean and made up, it smelled decent, and everything worked properly. The room had a wall thermostat which was nice. I like that there were plenty of lights in the suite. Common spaces of the hotel were all clean and lively. There were quite a few people at the hotel on the Tuesday night that I stayed, and there were plenty of people at breakfast in the morning. I missed the complementary dinner, but the complementary breakfast was very good. There were eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffles and a lot more and everything was fresh.

Cons: slow check in (staff training), internet was very slow (streaming movies was slow), breakfast ends too early (9am).
Pros: clean, luxurious, nice tv, quiet, tasty food, good suite amenities.
Verdict: if you’re looking for a place to stay long term, this is a great choice if you’re okay with the Overland Park location (not bad just far from CBD). I enjoyed my stay and would recommend.

This is more than a suite--it's a furnished, one-bedroom apartment that includes meals and a staff.

At about 600 square feet, there is a living room, separated bedroom, desk/dining area, bathroom and a full kitchen with full-size refrigerator, freezer, stove and dishwasher. Full breakfast and dinner in the hotel lounge are included! The staff was super helpful and friendly and even gave me snacks from their kitchen when I came in late at night.

As an avid runner, I loved that it was located steps away from Indian Creek Hike/Bike Trail, miles of paved pathway protected from cars.

The only drawback is I wish I could've stayed longer.

I stayed at the Overland Park Homewood Suites while traveling through the Kansas City area. The staff was extremely helpful during my visit. I had a late check-in due to some car trouble, and the staff checked me in prior to my arrival and made the process very quick when I finally arrived.
My only regret on this stay, was that I didn't get to stay longer. The property is simply stunning. The halls, lobby, elevator, and suite was all extremely clean and well decorated. Upon walking into the suite I found a small kitchen complete with refrigerator, stove top, sink, and anything else I would want to prepare a meal. There was also an elegant living room area with a very comfortable couch, flat screen TV, and all the comforts of home. The bedroom was stunning. Well decorated, clean, comfortable, and had several lighting options for my comfort.
During my stay I felt like I was in a home more so than a hotel and that made the trip exponentially more enjoyable.
I really look forward to staying with Homewood Suites again in the near future!

The staff at Homewood Suites by Hilton truly take care of the property. Clients I have referred all rave about how everything from the grounds to the interior of the building is modern and clean.
