We had a deluxe suite 405 and a deluxe room for our kids 301. Both rooms were great, the reception was very nice and the staff both knowledgeable and very pleasant.
The only reason I did not give a 10 to the main suite are the following: the main windows must have had some water damage and the right lower part of the frame and wall had a big grey stain you could see though the curtains, and in the bathroom, the grid in the shower (long rectangular piece) was collapsed in what looked like a gutter. I have to put seal briques underneath back together to not see the part under the shower.
The rest was great : food, amenities, breakfast and the cocktails at the bar. I believe out barman was Chris a young guy really friendly and with an impeccable accent.

Good value hotel the price was reasonable and the location of hotel is very near from everything metro station very near and you cane walk to Eiffel tower in few minutes many restaurant are close to hotel. Only the bath roams was too narrow.
Paris very crowded city many nationalities you can see in the streets which not really good.

Very helpful staff at reception. The bell hop (Max?) was really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Great concierge service, even for things they didn't help me arrange originally, but i needed to change. The upgrade to a suite with the view of the Eiffel Tower was much appreciated and made our vacation very special

The hotel is one of the nicest we stayed in on our family vacation. The multi-room suites worked great for our family of four.

A breath away for Champs-Elysee. This hotel offers prime real estate and prime hospitality. You're in the heart of all the shopping and eating. Two blocks away from Arc de Triomphe, one block from Louis Vuitton. Monoprix grocery store is a 5 minute walk, and in the same block as the subway.

Don't let this posh place fool you. They are absolutely kid friendly. From the well-made cribs, posh baby toiletry items, and the cute stuffed bunnies, all the stops were pulled to make this mama bear happy and without asking.

About the staff - Jaluca was the bellman who worked 3 of our 4 day stay. His smile is so big, bright, and genuine. He greeted my daughter each day by name. He is the best part of this hotel for guests. He starts your stay wonderfully with his positive energy, and bids you a warm and safe farewell on your ventures out. We learned that he is from Italy and speaks English, Italian, French, and currently learning Spanish.

Max was another bellman who was a delight. He speaks German, English, and French. These guys are incredibly personable and charming.

The keys are old school brass keys. You leave your key with the front desk as you leave the hotel.

The chrome vintage inspired bathroom fixtures are nostalgic of old Paris. Clean bathrooms and bedrooms.

They offer channels in multiple languages. In English you'll have CNN and BBC.

Great experience.

The desk and conciergre personnel were extremely helpful and courteous.
It was sometimes difficult to get service at the bar, but the surroundings were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hotel with a great location and very friendly staff. Prices are high but it is not surprising for the area. However rooms (including bathroom) could be updated. Walls are paper thin between and you can literally hear people next door breathing. Additionally, the enamel on the bathtub was falling apart, and that is not what you should expect from a 4 stars hotel.

I was very pleased by the ambience of this beautiful and historic hotel, which I have always wanted to experience, and by the friendly and helpful staff. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who wanted to stay in this part of Paris. I may return again some day.

My room was small and a bit awkwardly laid out. It has a useless foyer, an off shower and the tv was on on the floor. The lighting was terrible in the room and a bit strange coming from the curtains. Not what I expected. Definitely not my favorite but comfortable.

Very nice hotel. It is quiet and in a great location in the city if you like to shop. We were so pleasantly surprised on the quality of the rooms. Staff was extremely helpful for all our needs.

Impeccable service, great food at 'monsieur', extremely helpful staff. The building has a history but has been done up nicely for the non-tourist trade. A few steps away from the gaudy lights of the champs elysee but a world apart

First Impression....OUTSTANDING customer service. They truly are so gracious so accommodating, you feel as if your their only customer. The location is nice..It can be a little noisy depends on your location so be sure to ask for a quite room should you need one. The room is clean, and has all the amenities needed to feel right at home. I will certainly come back as I love the charm the white sheets and the decor......as if you took a step back in history with furniture as it was then .....chairs perfectly maintained...clean and just charming all the way around. Love IT!

The Lancaster Hotel is a wonderful boutique hotel located just off Chemps d'Elysees near the Arc de Triumph.
Room was spacious and comfortable. Service from the staff was exceptional. Only disappointment was there one star Michelin restaurant was closed for the holidays. Highly recommend this hotel to those who enjoy a smaller and more intimate hotel.

I had a very nice stay in your hotel, but the rooms are not soundproof and that means that every noise of passing guest in the hallway or any activity in the rooms next or up to my room were very disturbing. Also the closing of adjoining room doors were very annoying.
Besides that it is a very nice hotel, well located en super friendly staff!

We were generally pleased with our stay. The individual service made us feel welcome and special. Alistar at the front door, the head bartender and his assistant in the bar are especially memorable. The lovely room, the night we came back to find all the rose petals in honor of our anniversary are very special memories.

A couple of areas could be improved upon, especially as you are a high end hotel. The water in our bath ran continuously, not heavily but consistently. Whenever we entered the room it smelled of smoke. I suspect from the vents of rooms below us, once again not overwhelming but consistent. It is the little things that set the top locations apart and I had expected you to get all these component correct.

Fantastic overall experience. Stayed Jan 24-30th 2016. The front desk was helpful and incredibly friendly. The room surpassed my expectations, quiet and lovely with two oversized windows that overlooked the courtyard, the experience was Parisian elegance. Would return to the Lancaster on my next visit to Paris.

Excellent hotel throughout but unfortunately three issues during my stay:
1. Room wasn't ready at 3pm for check-in, was frustrating as I was tired and wanted to sleep.
2. There was some refurb going on in the room next door so some scrapping noise for hours on end, was frustrating.
3. Missed breakfast Monday morning because it wasn't made clear that although breakfast runs till 12 noon on Sunday it only runs till 10.30am on Monday.

Other than those little things to avoid an amazing hotel and an amazing experience.

I just came back (7-29-13) from a week's stay at the Hotel Lancaster-- it not only is so beautiful and luxurious...but the staff is amazingly caring and go way beyond what they need to do. The food is so delicious and presented in a beautiful way. The room was gorgeous...all in white linens, a fireplace, and the marble bathroom was
a thing to behold too! I cannot say enough about the staff, especially the Concierge,
Jeremy. He knew everything about Paris...and was ALWAYS willing to help and explain the best way to do things in this big beautiful city. I give it a 10 on a scale of a 5 ! I had a garden view room so it was perfectly quiet. They also put a new fresh rose outside your door each day. Perfection! Bravo to the Hotel Lancaster! I will
surely come back and recommend this hotel highly to everyone going to Paris. It's a gem!
