Environment

Property's Green Action

To protect the environment, we are reducing water use, energy consumption and recycling waste with the goal of limiting our carbon footprint. We integrate sustainable development into our operating procedures, contribute to preserve local communities and the natural ecosystems in which our hotel is located. With all sister hotels, we have already planted three million trees as part of a global reforestation project supported by the United Nations. The last but not the least, we engage our partners and suppliers in their sustainable development strategy and integrate them into the responsibility chain.

Certifications

Planet 21 Bronze

AccorHotels created an action plan that offered actions listed below to promote sustainable development, tailored to the hotel context. Those initiatives are structured into 4 pillars & 2 specific issues:

- PEOPLE: Raise employees’ awareness of the eco-friendly practice
- CUSTOMERS: engage guests in a sustainable experience
- COMMUNITIES: work hand-in-hand with local communities for a positive impact
- PARTNERS: co-innovate to open up new horizons

- BUILDING: Move towards carbon-neutral buildings
- FOOD: Strive for zero food waste & healthy sustainable food

Then, to go even further, each hotel selects other actions from over 60 additional initiatives. This flexible system enables it to build its own program in line with AccorHotels’ commitments, but also reflects the hotel’s local characteristics:
- Its prior level of progress on sustainable development
- Its priority areas for improvement
- The environment and local issues

A weighting mechanism establishes the action achievement level with a score that places the hotel around the higher levels. Each level marks the progress hotels are making in implementing the Planet 21 program.

Location is very good as it’s easy to reach by public transportation, also it’s easy to get their from the airport. Many services, shops, bank and restaurants are near by in walking distance.

This hotel is very nice, but slightly outdated. While we loved our view of the city and the room was very comfortable, the odd design of the bathroom and outdated design in the room is why I am rating this 4 stars, not 5. With a minor renovation, this would be THE place to stay in Paris. However, I would certainly recommend here. As tourists, it was nice being in a more 'local' area of town.

We stayed here for a long weekend and loved it. The hotel is in a great location. The restaurant downstairs has poor choice and is very expensive. And the big restaurant was closed for our stay. When we came to check out we discovered that the woman on reception had taken €300 out of my bank account as the 'deposit' it was never explained to us that the money would actually be taken out but we were reassured that it would be refunded immediately. In fact I did not receive the money until one week later. I phoned the hotel, who then told me to email. When I emailed, I did not even get a response. I feel it was very poorly dealt with and has definitely but me off using pullmans again or recommending it. Which is a real shame because we had a great stay other than this.

So far we have enjoyed our stay here very much. The double full room was very large and perfect for us. The breakfast/brunch was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Near both subway and buses or a 15mn can ride to attractions. A block away from great dining and a convenience store.

The service was not what it was in the past. Trying to get extra towels had to ask twice and did not get them. Found the cleaning person in the morning and got them myself. The breakfast buffet was not worth the money. The room was still clean and like before. The person at the information desk was awesome. The only bright spot for this trip.

This time I stayed for holiday with my family, altogether 3 person. They gave me an old room (old furniture), which did not give us a good feeling. However, the beds are comfortable. The staff are very help at information.

Amazing hotel!!! The lobby was very spacious and the concierge was very polite and helpful. There was an amazing view of Paris from my hotel room. The room was big and very clean. The only thing I didn't like was my room smelled of smoke from a smoking room nearby but I still give this hotel 5 stars. The breakfast buffet was amazing and full of options. Housekeeping, as well as everyone else was kind and always willing to help. I tv was in french and wouldn't change to English but I guess I was able to learn some French so it was all good lol. Overall, this is a great hotel. I came with my family and we all loved it

Very pleased; there was problem with our reservation (booked online with a service and they had the month wrong), so the front desk worked hard to find a solution, settling on upgrading our family to adjoining rooms that connected, which was ideal for a family of four. They were friendly, efficient, and above all, friendly and welcoming throughout our entire visit. The information desk team was excellent at helping first time tourist visitors, and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job. Our package came with a buffet breakfast each morning that was outstanding -- and kids under 12 were free.

The location was excellent as well; we were worried that we were a little far from the sites, but that was not the case. This hotel is near key metro, RER, SNCF and bus routes (Gare Montparnasse is right across the street), so getting to anything around the city was easy, cheap and involved almost no waiting. The local neighborhood has some treasures (check Google, Yelp or ask at the Information Desk). Of note are the Catacombs and Luxembourg Gardens -- be sure to see both, as they are right next door. Oh, and a local tip -- if you want watch the sun set behind the Eiffel Tower, go up to the hill to the traffic circle, have dinner in one of the cafes, and then cross into the circle....you'll look back to the Tower with the sun behind it as you sit with all the locals who are watching the very same light show. Bring wine, cheese, bread and a blanket and live like a local!

When arriving for check-in in the morning, a very unfriendly person told me that it was too early to check-in and most probably the room would not be ready. She did not say "Good morning, Welcome..." Nothing like that. Eventually the room was available. It is extremely disappointing to have to face this type of people. The friendliness of the staff is something important to allow guests to feel welcomed and enjoy a comfortable stay.

This was my first time staying in an Accor hotel. I found the staff friendly and helpful, though check In was always busy during the day. I was here for a three day conference and found the facilities to be good. The room on the 21st floor was clean and had air conditioning, as well as a great view.

It was an absolutely wonderful experience for us. The room was beautiful as was the view which we were very grateful for the up grade too. But it was the gentlemen working at the front desk and concierge who made the stay extra special with all their help, warmth and personality! Will highly recommend to anyone.

7

Other than the issue with our ride to the hotel (booked through an email sent by Pullman) and the scare at check-in when we were told our reservation had been cancelled, it was a good stay.

The room was spacious and comfortable and clean. The staff was kind.

We were never able to get service in the restaurant, which was disappointing, but we took advantage of the offerings in the neighborhood instead.

Welcoming staff for checking in and out. Nice room and bathroom. Good breakfast. BUT the bellmen were not polite, very arrogant and always laughing together instead of taking care of their customers.

Room was not ready but was upgraded. Friendly staff. Close proximity to subway station. It is a bit if a walk to major landmarks (roughly 40 minutes walk to both Eiffel tower and Notre-Dame) so transit/walk combo is recommended. Great view of the city. Would definitely visit again.

Rooms are ok. Service is average. Good thing is online check-in where u can provide all info before hand and u can get your key and room ready when arrived. Bad thing is room doesn't have the right power socket, and their locations are not quite convenient for today's need.

Nice rooms. However, the Internet was down/unusable for a solid 12 hours. We were told at 2am that they were working on fixing it. We found out later that the person who was scheduled to fix it didn't arrive until 9am the next morning. As a result, we were unable to make necessary flight arrangements for the next day and ended up having to stay in Paris another full day.

This is the perfect Business Hotel. I stayed here for a recent Exhibition and I found it exceptional. The bus from CDG airport spots right in front of this hotel and the exhibition which provided free shuttle buses to the expo centre also had a bus that stopped right in front of the hotel. Its a busy hotel but well staffed by professionals so its easy to get what you need.

Really fabulous place to stay. staff were very welcoming and attentive. Rooms are well appointed spacious and beds ... well amazing. Breakfasts - they provide an extensive range of foods. Only fly in ointment (such a small fly) housekeeping struggle to restock from one occupant to another so no drinks and only one cup, next day 3 cups no drinks... however room was visibly well cleaned would still highly recommend.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Booked through Expedia and wasn't very expensive. Around 40 minutes walking distance to Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame Cathedral if you want to explore the city but we took metro. There was a funny smell around the toilet area but didn't bother us much, as only went to the hotel to sleep. We paid for breakfast when we booked and glad we did. It's already difficult to look for something to eat for lunch and dinner for us as we have 2 fussy kids; at least they could find something for breakfast. Some cereals, fruit, omlet, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, few cheese, jams, pancake, mashrooms, grilled tomatoes, sausages, bacon etc, boiled potatoes, croissants, pain au raisin, pain au chocolat the things I remember. Shame on the cheese though; I think they should have more than 3 cheese when you think France has like around 300 cheese. And I couldn't find a proper tea. Overall I'm happy with my stay and would happily stay again in the future.

Nice hotel, close to most shops, bakers, and metro.
Rooms are average, nothing special, clean but a little out dated.
