Excellent views and placement, so calm too. It has a port and the area is perfect for small walks and close to main city attractions. There was a problem with our reservation and forced my colleague and me to sleep in a couple bed, which was really small, luckily they could solve it and changed our room next day so we could sleep on separate beds.

A lovely escape from the city. Beautiful views. Very serene setting and lovely spacious rooms. The style reminds me a bit of a country side B&B.

Beautiful although when we told the staff our air wasn't working they said it was due to the unusually warm weather. This was not the case because no air or anything was blowing from the vent in my room but it was flowing from the main room. Besides that gorgeous hotel, friendly staff and beautiful area. You can walk everywhere or get a pass for the ferry.

A fantastic place to stay. Historic, beautiful and achingly Scandinavian Chic. Excellent staff who must be the most accommodating I have ever come across in a boutique hotel. It may an expensive place to stay, but for a major capital city hotel, this hotel goes the extra mile for your money. Thoroughly recommended and now my TO GO place to stay in Stockholm.

Excellent boutique hotel in a peaceful and beautiful location, yet still right next to the city centre. Great breakfast and dinner options. This is one of my favorite hotels anywhere.

The staff were wonderful and the hotel was super clean. Really laid back atmosphere and querky decor. The hotel is located in a great place, walking distance from lots of places to eat and look around x

Excellent room, although I'll never see the benefits of having glass doors leading to the bathroom. The breakfast was lavish and also quite excellent. I'm no fan of having my room in a different house than the reception/dining area, but here it was rather charming. The hotel feels newly renovated and is in great shape, but you still get the feel of the 17th century buildings.

The best hotel I've ever visited.
I am writing this hotel in my room during my stay, and I have to say that I have never been so impressed with a hotel before.

The room is stunning, I have beautiful views of the bay. There are 3 sets of windows in my room. The room is spacious, well designed and with such a cosy feeling. Breakfast is included in the stay. I returned to the hotel early just to spend some time to relax here.

The staff are so friendly. I was given a welcome snack, and a personal welcome card from the hotel (what a nice touch!). I arrived early and to surprise I was even allowed to check-in early.

Location is outstanding. The island is peaceful, with a free modern art museum 5 minutes up the hill. It's a 15 minute walk into the historic centre.

The only improvement I can think of is adding some cushions for the windows as this is a lovely sitting spot.

A beautiful hotel near one of the very best (FREE)Museums in Stockholm, easily walked into the city and lovely view all round the small islands from here. An escape into the country without leaving the city centre... incredible!

Very friendly and accommodating staff. They made us feel very welcome and almost important, but in a good way. The breakfast was good, but they didn't have any pancakes. A decent selection of bread, ok coffee and 4 different types of juice. They gladly arranged a crib for our baby boy for no extra charge. Make sure to see the room description if you want a bigger bed.

7

Very nice and quiet hotel on a wonderful island in the middle of Stockholm. Everything is perfect : rooms, view, terrace with deck chairs.... The only thing that could be improved is the restaurant/bar. The menu has not so many choices (mainly sandwiches) and the service is bad. The girls at the restaurant should learn how to smile and visit some other 4 stars hotels to know what is customer oriented service. It was not possible to have the regular menu because we arrive at 9.15 PM (too late !!!) and no choice : they decided that it was just possible to eat outside (the temperature was about 16C) even if the inside tables was 3 meters from the terrace. In this restaurant, customer has just to follow the rules and shut up.

Fantastic location, quiet but easily accessible via ferry, bus or just walking from all main interest points in the city. The hotel is 5 stars with outstanding staff and service.
The rooms (except for the suites) are tiny but comparable to other European hotels.
Excellent breakfast at their restaurant Manga R A D E N.

9

Utterly delightful hotel. Set in the 'secluded middle' of Copenhagen, on an island at the end of a one-way road, this converted row of mariners' cottages mixes historically-listed architecture and history with quietly-luxurious modern Scandinavian design. The luxury is not only in the building but in the high numbers of attentive, friendly staff and the excellent food. Bright, open and smart, this is a real 'find' and is now my go-to hotel in Stockholm.

A truly unique hotel that feels like a secluded resort on an island in Stockholm. Great breakfast and lunch hang. Thoughtful and engaged staff always over extending themselves. Simple, cleanly designed and beautifully comfortable rooms. Great curation all around.

Excellent clean hotel. Minimalist but adequate, in true Swedish nature. Bathrooms were clean and modern. Nice views. Breakfast is included and it was quite the spread. Good coffee and many options for breakfast. Extremely helpful front desk.

Exquisite attention to detail, excellent service, and delicious breakfast! Located in Skeppsholmen Island (aka the museum island) by the water, which provides very serene and scenic surrounding. It is also very convenient that the hotel is a short walk away from the modern art museum, which has great collections.

Lovely hotel in an old hospital. 15-20 minute walk to old town or you can take a 3 minute ferry from the island to the Vasa museum and others. The rooms are fairly spartan but comfortable and the service is wonderfully warm. Breakfast is as tasty and cozy as they come.

I found this is to be a poor value for money. Think of it as overpriced BnB rather than a proper hotel since it lacks many amenities. Breakfast is good and includes nice coffee and juices, but it is not great. Location is unique, however It takes a while to walk to center or gamla stan. We ended up up taking taxi since it was colder and windier than in center

Lovely hotel. Brilliant location on island. Friendly staff. Our room was smaller than in some we have experienced. You are just outside the centre of Stockholm here but can get to most places by foot by bus or by ferry. Breakfasts are very good. We met locals who saw the breakfast as a destination.

Received consistently wonderful and stylishly delivered service throughout our stay last month. Skeppsholmen (the island that hosts the eponymous hotel) is a serene and beautiful escape that's only a couple of minutes walk or ferry from the city (the barrack buildings that house the hotel are really just across from the ferry stop). I will return if I am ever in Stockholm again and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

The hotel has a lovely and gentle laid back vibe. The rooms are simple, elegant and thoughtfully designed. The team seem genuinely positive and friendly. It has a wonderful restaurant and bar where you can while away the hours, with a well crafted cappuccino, as the wildlife trundles by.

The location is also wonderful set upon a tiny island which gives a further sense of escape.

Arrived early and were invited to their luxurious breakfast. Then, for our special occasion, we were offered an upgrade on room...plus a lovely champagne toast. Everyone is super friendly and the room is bright, clean, and nicely arranged. The island location is actually a nice separation from the bustle of center city. This is WINNING place.

Extra note, the restaurant on-site seems to have quite a following as local groups absolutely packed the place at lunch. If the rest of the meals are like breakfast, you might never leave....

A beautiful location, very quiet and with amazing views of Gamla Stan and the other islands. The breakfast was great, even if you had a dietary restriction. The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom was beautiful. One note is the 65 bus comes every 30 minutes in the evening.
