Hotel des Academies et des Arts- on rue de la Grande Chaumiere- is both a hotel and an artists studio. Less than ten minutes from Saint-Germain-des-Pres- between Montparnasse and the Jardin du Luxembourg- its a 4-star boutique hotel with 20 large- poetic rooms. The building is part of the artistic history of the Belle Epoque. It was home to the great painters Modigliani and Fujita. The studio is open to all. Artists are received for a hanging or an exhibition. Additional Information- Children up to 4 years old can stay in cribs free of charge on request. Children from 0 to 4 can stay in parents room in existing bedding. Children over 12 years old are considered as an adult. A pre-authorization of the amount of the first night stay will be made on the card provided- which must be in the customer name- at the time of booking 15 days before arrival in order to guarantee the stay. Upon arrival at the hotel- a valid credit card in the name of the guest staying at the hotel will be required to guarantee the entire stay and any extras.
