Room was extremely nice, view was ok. There's a train that runs within viewing distance, room was sound-insulated enough that the train wasn't noisy so it was cool to watch. AC worked extremely well, room also had a full sized refrigerator, Overall great stay.highly recommend

A nice hotel in an okay area. It is super close to the bus station which can be a positive or negative. A nice alternative if you don't want to stay right in San Francisco.

The 5 stars are for the excrllexc service from Enmerson in housekeeping which very expeditiously returned my cPP machine which I forgot in my riom, 217. T called and Sergio and Will in reception connected me with Sergio who promptly made arrangements for my machine to be delivered to my home in Sacramento. Thank you very much Sergio and have a wonderful day.

Nice comfortable condo style rooms complete with kitchenette. A cozy hotel in a prime location in the east bay adjacent to the world food market

What an unbelievable experience! Super clean and super comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with bowls, utensils, pots, pans, and even a cutting board. Just add food! We brought our baby so the sound machine was a nice touch. The only thing that bugged us was that every time a door outside our room would close it would make our door rattle. Definitely trying another Hyatt House again soon.

Nice and spacious rooms! A mini apartment with about everything you could need, no stove though. Nice view of downtown San Francisco from balcony. Nicely decorated.

Only stopped by to see visiting friend. He had a spacious, well-appointed (if generically so) suite. My friend and I pondered why the suite's small "view balcony"'s sliding door was (seemingly) bolted shut. Our best guess: to remove the temptation for smokers.

New establishment, nice rooms and great service but.... Do NOT accept a room at this establishment that ends in an even number as you’ll wind up within spitting distance of the train track which seems to employ a very sadistic engineer who delights in seeing how close he can get to he hotel before he sounds his horn blowing equipment. When I requested a room on the opposite side of the hall, I was informed that I would be charged a premium of $20 extra / night for a room with 2 queen beds on a lower floor instead of the king on the 11th floor. Not cool... again... nice rooms, great service but would not recommend based on the above.

The hotel is very cozy and the customer service is very friendly. One big upside for kids is the ability to play content from your laptop to the television as an amenity in the room. Suites have a coach bed in the living room, a perfect kitchen with a top stove, a dishwasher, and a convenient fridge.

The Hyatt House is an easy walk from the Emeryville Amtrak train station. Customer service was great, the room was excellent and our stay was very comfortable. Tiffany at the front desk was especially helpful. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

This place is close to shops and restaurants. It's ideal for extended stay and when traveling with family. We got a suite with a fully fitted kitchen and it feels like home away from home. We ended up here following a nightmare airbnb booking.

I rated this hotel a 5 because of one worker who displayed much professionalism. Kudos to, Tiffany! When our train was late coming into, Emeryville, and the hotel shuttle would not be running that late, this young lady made sure transportation was made for our pickup before she left work for the evening. I've stayed at many hotels but never this much concern on my arrival. The hotel was clean, nice and quiet. I will pick this hotel again for my stay in, California. The other staff where good as well..

I love the Hyatt House! My hubby travels a lot so we used his points for this stay which is awesome in its self but then we were surprised when they upgraded us for being premier members! It's like a small apartment everything you would need to feel like home! Love love love Hyatt!!!

This was a great location for us. The room and the hotel feels new and clean. The exercise room is big with nice equipment. Down side, It is on the noisy side so if you are sensitive to noise it would be a struggle. Staff was accommodating.

Pretty nice. It is right next to train tracks. Our room had a noise machine and ear plugs. It wasn't too bad. My daughter didn't like the mattress on the sofa bed. The TV guide wasn't correct and it was hard to find the channel you wanted to watch.

Best hotel we stayed in on our trip! Very clean & updated. Had a separate living & kitchenette. Location was convenient for sightseeing. Breakfast was great! Only drawbacks were the cost of laundry was $3 to was and $3 to dry. They have a list of items you can get but then you really can't get them(ie board games).

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around... Great central location. Easy to get to from the airport and avoided SF traffic when heading up the north coast the next morning. Great breakfast, comfortable beds - overall great hotel if need a place in the area or a place to rest after a long flight.

Easy access right off the highway. Staff is super professional and down right friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. My only two concerns; low water pressure in the shower and the train that runs right by the building. Pro tip:. Ask for a room at the front of the hotel.

Very nice hotel. Refurbed over the last few years. Great breakfast bar included. Only reason not 5 stars is its proximity to the Emeryville train station. Trains easy to hear on backside.

The rooms were clean and as described. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was nice (but get the bacon early since it goes fast). The pool and work out area are also clean and nice. There was no working fan in the bathroom.

Overall quality good, service Bad This place was beautiful. The rooms were lovely and the view was great. I really enjoyed staying in this hotel, but I must say the employees were quite rude. At the time I was visiting with a pretty large group, and the workers would openly show their dislike towards us and one another. For instance they would whisper how "annoyingly" and "messy" we were when drips of food occurred, they would disrespectful towards one another openly.

Rooms were decked out with: a full size fridge, toaster, dishware and dishwasher. There was also a charging station with USB outlets and extra outlets strewn throughout the room. And most importantly, in my opinion, they had a jacuzzi which was at a reasonable temperature.

Solid offering, but make sure you get a "bay view" room to avoid the back side of the hotel which sits atop train tracks. Amtrak runs 4:30am to just past 10pm. Freights run all night, but that didn't both me. Also, the breakfast is very average. The selection isn't great. Lastly, while posting is free, every space is tight. For our larger rental vehicle, I just used the "compact" spot, but parked away from others....I noticed a lot of people with this tactic.

This was my first experience at the hotel. My overall experience was wonderful. The staff was very welcoming & helpful. I travel with a service animal and the staff was exceptional in the way they treated him. The hotel room was great with a full kitchen and a Trader Joe's around the corner. The breakfast area is a VERY tight squeeze with plenty of room to sit- not sure why they try to cram a buffet in a very small space. That's the only reason I did not give 5 stars.

Note that this Hyatt house location is located in front of a train station. So for individuals not used to train sounds may be bothered by this. No smoking allowed in rooms or balconies. Breakfast buffet was okay. Front desk staff were nice and professional.

Definitely a good alternative to stay at a Hyatt that is usually far cheaper than just across the bridge in SF proper. You can easily take a city bus for a few dollars to get to downtown SF in about 10-15 mins.. This Hyatt has comp. breakfast, nice service, and good rooms. Try to get a room that is higher up & does not face the railroad. Parking is free & there are eats & a Trader Joe within walking distance.

Like a House When you first walked in it looked like a house a kitchen with a sink, microwave, fridge, and glasses and plates. My room had a sofa bed and a king size bed. The sofa bed was sort of rough. The room had a king bed which like a regular one (which is good) and a TV. When you go into the bathroom you see a nice luxuries showers but the water comes out slowly. Let's just say its takes a while to get your body wet. The toilet and sink is normal as well. I got this hotel with my flight and it was totally worth it and awesome.

Large, comfortable rooms with ample seating. I booked a one bedroom with a king bed for my parents while they were visiting. Having the living room seating area was very convenient while I was over, and having dishes available was great for sharing snacks and leftovers. Facilities were very clean and adequately modern. Bed was comfortable. The room faced the railway. It's possible to hear the train horn during the day, but not distractingly so. I'm told that sleeping through the train traffic is no problem.

8

Nice location, about a 20 min drive into SF (tip: if you are using a rental car, the bridge is a toll road one way, so you have to pay, but it costs less after 10AM). Breakfast is complimentary and a decent selection. The hotel itself is pretty and the rooms are a good size. There is a jacuzzi & outdoor pool. Overall nice!

Great place to stay, great pool it was clean also the pool and hot tub area was clean and had towels out by the pool. Breakfast in the morning is something to wake up early for. You don't have to worry about food running out either, they keep everything stacked. Only a 5min walk to Emeryville's main attraction with all the stores and movies. The only con is you cant smoke on your balcony so you have to go all the way down stairs and 25ft from the building. So management if you read this please allow people to at least be able to smoke on the balcony. Bed, shower and whole room was amazing! The number two things are the bed and shower, which was great! All around great experience my girlfriend and I will be back in August.

We stayed here for four nights and could not have had a better experience. This was our first time traveling with our two year old son and we were concerned about how it would go- but there was no reason to worry. The room was spacious and clean. The door locks were high which was perfect for keeping little ones from opening the door. The area was quiet, safe, and close to restaurants and shops. The breakfast was great and catered to even our picky little eater. The staff were friendly, polite, and helped us understand how to navigate public transportation (as we were unfamiliar.) Checking in and out was a breeze. Super happy with our stay!

Wonderful place to stay. I've personally stayed with this hotel on 5 different occasions. It's a little spendy but you get what you pay for. The location is great just across San Francisco, there's a wonderful pool outside with a hot tub, outdoor workout area, free breakfast in the morning where they'll make your own custom omelette and very kind/helpful customer service. The rooms are very spacious and beautiful too.

Was our first Hyatt house stay. We were looking for a hotel with kitchen and we enjoyed the stay very much. The bus (F) going to SF downtown leaves in front of the Hotel, just a 25 minute ride. Perfect base for a SF trip. Hotel is great, rooms have well equipped kitchen, breakfast is standard ( even though within 3 days they could not get any margarine). Front desk was polite and helpful. Pool and gym are clean and nice. In house kitchen is very good.

I've stayed here many times and it's still my favorite place to stay when in the Bay Area. Awesome view on Bay side, nice remodel on rooms. The staff is always super nice and helpful. The breakfast is actually decent for a free buffet. Lots of FREE parking. Walk to restruants, bars, stores, movies, etc.
